Delicious food, and I particularly enjoyed the paired soft-drink flight; lots of clever little alcohol free cocktails that meant I didn't feel like I was missing out as designated driver! Bella our hostess was lovely, and was a nice relaxed atmosphere. We are definitely coming again!

We had a lovely time, excellent food. In addition to seven courses there was cocktail with mocktail option, and petits fours. Amazing value at £35 per person without wine; limited choice of god value wine by glass or bottle. Neither wine flight nor pudding wine. Menu in attached photo. Small plates but adequate portions; delicious bread, I believe home made. Parking slightly difficult (it was a busy night at the Institute) and a longish queue for compulsory name badge. The students charmingly trying their best, no offhand service here. Service charge voluntary and I'm happy to pay it.

We enjoyed wonderful coffee and cheese scones in our first visit today. Everything about Bridge House is absolutely divine! The best cheese scone I have ever had ( and that's quite a lot. ..!). Gorgeous place and great staff. We will return. Opens Thurs - Sunday I believe.

A lovely shop selling arts and craft products as well as a cafe. A lot of the craft products are made by local people and are of high quality and reasonably priced although you do have to pay by cash for these pieces so the crafter gets the full amount. Sensible and fair. The food is fresh and well sourced, cooked fresh to order and delicious. My wife had a slice of yummy toblerone cake and a hot chocolate, I had a bacon and sausage sandwich with a delicious homemade tomato chutney and a coffee. Very tasty. The staff are really friendly and polite, order at your table and add to the experience. We are are on birthday weekend away and are going to have breakfast there tomorrow before we head for home. Totally recommend it for both the food, the welcome and the arts and crafts. A really lovely place to go.

At last, I have found a fine cafe in Southport! After trying various cafes in the town centre in the last few years whenever I have visited the town (& all of them so disappointing I could not bring myself to write a review) I found myself in Birkdale Village on a very cold day yesterday and decided to try this little cafe. What a surpise! The charming staff were warm and welcoming, the service was immaculate in spite of it being very busy and crowded. In fact I was very lucky to get a table. I decided to opt for the Smoked Salmon Stack which comprises a generous helping of smoked salmon, 2 perfectly poached eggs, smashed avocado & chilli flakes all laid out on 2 large pieces of toasted sourdough bread with a slice of lemon. It was absolutely delicious, arrived hot and freshly prepared within a few minutes and was presented beautifully. (see attached photo) No fewer than THREE of the waitresses asked me if everything was alright and to my satsifaction. It is rare to find such attentive service these days. I also enjoyed a delicious, large Latte. Birkdale (it seems to me) has retained much of the lovely, old world atmosphere of the Southport of my youth - a quality that has vanished from the main town centre now. So thank you Crozier's - I shall return on my next visit to Southport!

I organised my daughter’s baby shower here and was so pleased with the outcome. There were 28 of us and we were looked after so well by the team! The decor was just how I wanted it to be and the food including vegan and gluten free, varied and very good! MAW is the perfect place to hold a small function and I cannot recommend it enough. Thank you so much! xxx
