Kerry's Chippy in Erewash

this chippy is the best chippy i have ever tasted, big shoutout the staff as they are so kind and friendly and welcoming, the chips are delicious which they are crispy and tasty, the curry sauce is so so tasty.

the best, best chips, everytime, soft flaky fish with crisp but not crunchy batter, everytime, lovely staff, its the best chippy in the midlands.

Can't recommend Kerry's enough. We have eaten there regularly over the last year and each time the food and service have been exceptionally good. The restaurant is spotlessly clean, the staff friendly and helpful.

Best chip shop in Ilkeston. Thier home made pies are delicious. Just a shame they don't open for longer hours or in the evening

It is always re-assuring when there is a queue of customers waiting to enter somewhere and that is certainly the case with Kerry's Chippy. Staff are always welcoming with quick and efficient service, tasty fish&chips, great portion size and it does not break the bank.

Takeaway only at the moment but the home made steak pie/gravy and chips to go was a wonderful lunch, it was piping hot and you always get great service from the staff here.

Just been for the first time and it certainly won't be my last . Best fish and chips I've had in a long time absolutely beautiful. Massive fish and lovely chips all of it was delicious.

Decorated for Halloween, fish&chips for Mam and I went for a slice of the homemade steak pie with gravy, yummy.

Everytime I'm in Ilson, I pop into this chippy. Well worth the visit, nothing is too much trouble, I prefer my fish freshly cooked and a little bit undercooked. To get an understading response to this request says a lot about the customer service here, nothing is an issue. Chips are delicious, fish & batter is 2nd to none, prices are great and you are guaranteed a friendly smile.

Best chippy around travel 3 miles to get to it . Love the fact it prices up for small portions as well as regular size (they are not tiny though ) lovely crusty bread and butter and they do fish bits on your chips if they have them it’s flipping gorgeous

Lovely and clean everything looks so tasty.There is a restaurant as well as the take away.Various sizes of fish and chips available. Just like home made. Staff very pleasant. Parking available outside the shop.

Took my mam to Kerry's just before opening time and joined the queue waiting to eat in, I think that tells you just how popular this chippy is. Eat in area is very clean and tidy and our lunch consisted of fish/pie, chips, peas, slice of bread and butter and washed down with a mug of tea. Service from the welcoming and friendly staff was excellent with that all important smile.

I love our trips to Kerry’s. Normally Friday lunch and I look forward to it from one visit to the next. The staff are lovely and the food is delicious. You know it’s good because of the queues for takeaway and to eat in. Just a great place. Thanks Kerry.

I have been going to this chippy since I was a little girl ( to many years to mention ) the staff are always cheerful and happy to serve you the food is always hot and tasty eat in or take out the choice is yours good atmosphere good food

You just have to see the amount of customers either queuing for takeaway or eating in to see how popular Kerry's is. Service is excellent with a friendly greeting and smile from the staff this is a tip top chippy.

Friday is always fish and chip day for my mam so decided to give Kerry's a try. The sign above the door and the queue waiting to be served gave me an inkling that I was not going to be disappointed. Tasty fish with a portion of chips and peas served by friendly staff hit the spot. There is also a seating area in the back so will have to try and get mam to try the eat in service.

Fab place great service, plenty of food. Cant see why someone scored it a one, except they recommend Georges around the corner? Staff from there ???

Passed here by chance going to the football had mini fish and chips they were lovely superb batter deserves it's award.

Me encanta este lugar. La comida es verdaderamente lo mejor que puedes comprar. Usaban para visitar casi todos los jueves como nuestro té tiempo lujo.

Mi madre adora este lugar y ha estado tomando conmigo en la pequeña zona de asientos en la parte trasera ya que era muy pequeña! No comer aquí como comida frita no de acuerdo conmigo por desgracia ya! Pero mi madre me asegura que todo es todavía tan encantador como lo era!

Viajamos a Derbyshire para reunirse con amigos con la intención de cenar en Georges "fish and chips" . Por recomendación de los lugareños que probamos Kerry y quedamos muy impresionados. Un sencillo "café de la parte de atrás" sin lujos pero la comida era excelente y el personal muy amable y servicial. Muy buenas raciones y a un precio razonable. Sin duda volveremos de nuevo.

we use Kerry's chippy on a regular basis. the food is always fresh and of the best quality. it is always clean and tidy, and we like the fact you can eat in the restaurant or take them home. the staff are fantastic, lovely, friendly and helpful and always remember who we are. Cannot fault this place been coming here for years and won't go to any other chippy in Ilkeston... Lovely food and great service!!

Me and my partner had decided to try 'the best chippy in ilkeston' well i don't know what kind of people have been voting for this award as the place is disgusting! Poor hygiene, old food and common racist staff with extremely rude manners - you cant even ask a simple innocent question without getting your head bitten off! I'd head 2 minutes around the corner to Georges Tradition and experience a REAL chippy!

We use the restaurant here regularly and the food is always excellent. The staff are all really lovely and always make you feel welcome. They also keep the place spotlessly clean. If you are in Ilkeston and like your fish & chips, you will not be disappointed here!

Excellent fish, friendly service and highly recommended. This is by far the best chippy in Ilkeston I've never had a disappointing meal here. I like the fact that there is a clean dining area at the back so you can eat in and enjoy your meal!

food cooked nice ly while u wait. only a small restaurant but really good and personal service good value for money small portions for the smaller appitite

It is what it is, the best chip shop around. Certainly should pay a visit though the opening hours are a bit random
