Went with my friend for coffee and cake. I had the raspberry bakewell tart was delightful. Took home coffee walnut cake for hubby and this was just as nice. Have been several times and always enjoyed lovely mocha coffee and a slice of something yummy from the freshly baked cakes. Would recommend.

Crumbly but very nice scone indeed, and bacon/brie/cranberry panini with salad went down well too. Tea and coffee nice. For us, the down side was having to share a food establishment with a fidgety dog at the next table, just not pleasant. Will we come again, yes, but we'll look for a table away from any dogs. (Sorry if you are a dog lover, it's just how we feel.)

In the main the food, drinks and service are good. BUT avoid the scones. I forgot from last time we visited that they are to be avoided, and ordered one on this visit. They are dry as old boots and crumble to pieces as soon as the knife gets anywhere near then.

Bin to this little gem of a cafe a few times now we was introduced to it by a friend as we had no idea it existed because it is tucked away inside some old mill type buildings in the village of draycott of the main road but there is a advertising sign on the roadside Anyway back to the food and drink The food and drinks here are top quality there is a nice variety on the menu not vast but varied enough for a quite small eaterie from order to food being on your table is plenty quick enough and they also do a good variety of hot and cold drinks however I am fairly set in my ways unfortunately so I can only comment on my food which is a baked potato/jacket potato every visit with a nice fancy coffee too wash it down The potatoes are very generous in size as you only get the one but it is enough once you've added your choice of toppings but always cooked perfect for me even the skin is lovely to eat I also tend to have either a latte or a mocha chocca type coffe but again they are of generous size and top quality Therefore I cannot recommend this hidden gem enough

Tucked away in Draycott, is this lovely Cafe, the staff were very friendly and the Cafe and it's surroundings were very pleasant. The homemade cakes were very tasty and it was hard to choose which one to have, but between me and my 3 daughters we managed to sample quite a few. If you're a chocoholic the salted caramel brownie is to die for. The prices are very reasonable and there's plenty of choices on the menu. This is a lovely coffee house that also sells beautiful cakes and very nice food. A very enjoyable Saturday morning stroll for a decent coffee and maybe a slice of cake, or a toastie......bliss. Staff are good, in the main. Am slightly fascinated by one staff member who looks like she is supposed to work there.....and is often behind the counter taking orders.....but I'm never sure she is actually listening. It doesn't make a jot of difference as the coffee and cake are gorgeous and I'm warming to this rather distracted member of staff. In fact, she's starting to make each visit more interesting. So....looking forward to Saturday! :-)

When we eventually found Pumpkinz it was in a lovely courtyard. Hard th difficult decision of which cake and plumped for a victoria sponge and Daughter had a brownie. Both were divine I hate it when you eat the victoria sponge and the cream tastes gritty from the sugar, not here it was beautiful and homemade. The brownie was divine crisp on the top with a wonderful gooey centre. Staff were pleasant and welcoming and there were lovely cups and saucers on display. My only grips are there needs to a be an A board at the mills so you know where to go and the cans of pops, not a fan of when the multi packs of pop are sold singularly. Other than these a lovely place to go.

wow, I visited pumpkins today and I can honestly say how lovely everything was a lovely atmosphere and all the cakes looked amazing, you could tell they were homemade, which is what I'd heard on the grapevine and why I wanted to try pumkinz, after agonising over the choice of which cake to have I opted for a lovely cream tea, and it was fabulous, a lovely pot of tea served in China and my scone was served warm, which really bought out the flavour of scone, delicious, I decided to sit out in the lovely court yard, which is so pretty at the moment with all the summer flowers, all I can say is what a lovely treasure of a tea room/cafe, I left feeling happy and you must try it for yourself

We came to pumpkinz after being told by a friend we must visit. Having lived in draycott for many years we did not know about it and must say it's not signposted at all, and should have more recognition. although a bit pricey at around £14 for two paninis and a orange and apple juice it is a credit to draycott and has a beautiful, quaint interior. The staff were welcoming and there was a community feel to the place which made it a comfortable atmosphere to stay and relax in. The food was lovely, although I do think it could of been slightly cheaper in comparison to the portion size. We will be returning for cake though!

Came here during the scarecrow trail. We enjoyed having a coffee as a family. The workers seems slightly overwhelmed by the amount of people coming in (and even said as much to another customer) due to the activity surrounding the scarecrow trail, but were mostly friendly and efficient. We were served very quickly! The interior is lovely and very welcoming and homey which as a family we appreciated. The only thing that let it down slightly for us was the fact that some of the produce is not home made and so the workers were unable to say what each item contained, as a family with some serious allergies this wasn't great, which is why we only had coffee. Would definitely come and visit here again for a drink though!

Pumpkinz is situated in Draycott Mills, just off the Market Square. It's tucked out of the way in a courtyard but well worth a walk aound the corner.Bev, the owner is hospitality itself and the food is amazing. Very rarely, when you see a sign for homemade cakes are they actually made in the home - but these are. The coffee and walnut is to die for as is the carrot cake, the lemon drizzle, the orange and poppy seed........................I could go on.A great range of paninis and salads are also on offer for those with a savoury palate. I can recommend the goats cheese and onion marmalade.Pumpkinz has easy chairs for a relaxing bite and pine tables if you wish to eat more formally and afterwards you can browse the gifts of homemade jams and chocolate pizzas, as well as the hilarious cards on offer for sale.I was really surprised that I had to get trip advisor to tick the box as this is the first review as it has been open for a while.Try it, you really won't be disappointed.

When this pub was being ran by Debs, it was great. It had a great atmosphere, fab people running it and the food was amazing. Since being taken over, it’s gone down hill. Frozen food, poor atmosphere, disco lights on a Saturday night (doesn’t suit the Nags) It’s now being taken over again, and the new person running this, will truly ruin this pub. Such a shame!
