Can't Resist Cakes in Erewash

About to go into the shop to discuss a birthday cake but was put off by the angry staff shouting rude comments to a lady who was videoing a mishap on bath Street not sure the lady was right or wrong but she never argued back with them but the 2 ladies who was helping a fellow shop keeper pick stuff up where VERY rude and aggressive towards the lady and several times repeatedly went up to the lady's face in a very intimidating way

Me llevé a mi hija aquí para un regalo después de haber oído cosas buenas sobre no puedo resistirme a los pasteles de amigos, y no nos decepcionó. El personal es encantador, muy amable y acogedor. La comida era deliciosa, tuve un queso y cebolla tostadas con una taza de té y mi hija tenía un trocito de Orange tarta casera de chocolate, lo que nos encantó. Hay la opción de tener una "mini la parte de mí que es una idea brillante para pequeñas estomacal! Sin duda que volveré pronto.

Iv visted this lovely quirky cake shop many times now.you always get a warm friendly smile as the staff are all very friendly and always find the time to av a natter.the cakes are always fresh and very tasty .I also bought my first birthday cake for my daughter on Thursday the attention to detail was out this world and tastes just as good as it looked .I highly reccomend this lovely cake shop to anyone visting ilkeston town.

Café colorido y limpia pequeña que ofrece al cliente un ambiente cálido y cordial saludo de personal. Menú consta de una pequeña selección de desayunos, bocadillos y , sazonadas, sándwiches tostados, bebidas frías y calientes y pasteles de campo. Cuando yo fui no había una gran variedad de pasteles, pero la que tuve fue muy bueno.

If you're ever near Ilkeston you must visit Can't Resist Cakes. The owner and staff are all fabulous and welcoming, the cakes are out of this world and the serve up a cracking cuppa tea. Highly recommend for help with designing celebration cakes.... They certainly know their stuff :-)

My sister-in law and I Visited this lovely little cakery for the first time on 29/07/15 after hearing so many nice things. We weren't at all disappointed! There was a lot of choice & the cakes look beautiful. Eventually...I decided on the Raspberry & white chocolate one. It was gorgeous. Although,the slices are that generous I didn't finish it! The lovely ladies wrapped it for me to take home. Such a friendly atmosphere. Only thing I wish is that it was a big bigger! It's just what Ilkeston needed :-) well done!

I visited Can't Resist Cakes to meet with a colleague and owners. I travelled from Worcestershire and I wasn't disappointed. The shop is small but has lots of character and as for the cakes? Well they were amazing! I would highly recommend visiting to experience coffee and cake! The owners are lovely and will make you feel very welcome.

I am a cake lover so when I visited Can't Resist Cakes, I wasn't disappointed. They have a big choice of cakes which will satisfy all taste buds. The Oreo Brownie is my absolute favourite. Please visit this family run shop. You won't regret it!!

I had seen this cake shop on facebook through a friend's newsfeed, as we had a visitor for the weekend who loves cake we decided to give it a go. It is not near where we live but was well worth the drive. The service was friendly and personal, the cakes even late on a Saturday afternoon were plentiful, even though they apologised for the lack of choice. The coffee was of great quality. We will definitely return.

Can't resist cakes is offers excellent homely service, warm friendly staff, well worth a visit for those beautiful home made cakes and savories. They also make the most wonderful wedding, birthday cakes etc. They made my daughters fairy land wedding cake absolutely outstanding.

You will fall I'm love with this lovely cakery/coffee shop.. Its a family run business and they all care about every customer.. So attentive and a warm welcome.. The cake is the best I've tried locally and im picky. There frappes are amazing.. Im totally addictive..

Can't resist cake based on Bath Street in Ilkeston has everything any cake lover could possibly want! With its 60's/70's style apparel and friendly staff you really can not go wrong! Home made scones, savoury muffins, caramel stack cake, lemon drizzle, chocolate orange cake, toasties,home made frappes, and an amazing coffee blend for the funky orange coffee machine....I could go on and on!!! The shop is small with only a few tables so it does fill up quite quickly but it's well worth a visit!! If you don't have time to sit and relax, you can take away too!!! If that was not enough they also make occasion cakes....they made my bespoke wedding cake and I can not stop talking about it!!! So if you fancy some amazing cake in a fresh retro surround do please visit can't resist cake...you won't be dissapointed!

Easy to find, rustic feel. Brilliant choice of cakes, the coffee is very nice and the cold drinks are delicious. Well worth a visit for a take away or a sit down and chat.

Iv been following Cant Resist Cakes journey since they started with a small unit in Ilkeston and when I knew they were opening a cafe recently I was so pleased. It's a retro theme with a delicious menu, I would recommend the cheese & ham toastie with a strawberries & cream Frappe! The cakes and scones are to die for, all freshly baked and delicious every time. If your in Ilkeston you just have to visit!
