Quite often visit for lunch with friends but we would have liked hot drinks after our meal sadly, we left without a hot drink as they don’t offer decaffeinated tea which one of our friends can only drink. But they offer decaffeinated coffee.

Gorgeous little gem 💎 Popped in to purchase some Easter items and were blown away with just how lovely this place is, this was our first visit as well. Upon entry you are met with the bakery which has fresh cakes, bread and pastries galore, then further on in is the chocolate shop. You'll find something for every occasion and all budgets. The factory where the magic happens, you can actually see from the store through a large window, seeing the chocolates being made and smelling the fresh chocolate is captivating. After a wander around selecting our purchases we were greeted by a lovely female shop assistant who was very patient while we considered the vast array of tasty options take home with us. Parking wise we were lucky it was a Thursday afternoon so there were spaces available, however I think if it was full you could easily find space locally. We will be back again soon

Often you read reviews and wonder if they are too good, have no fear here, great food and service. Perfect chips, I wasn't sure if I could eat it all, but it was too good not to, the fish was as fresh and juicy as ever eaten, my partner loved her fish cakes, she often needs help to finish, not today. Not had fish and chips elsewhere in Weymouth, so can't by comparison state they are the best, but I'd be very surprised if another chip shop matched them. Good box with salt and vinegar, mayo, ketchup and tartare on the table, thank you for a great meal, licenced so a drink available too at a good price, nothing negative to say at all

If your ever in the area you must make the effort and visit!! Visited The Mariners Public House in Padstow many times. This time for a family birthday and was thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming—perfect for a special occasion without feeling overly formal. The food was excellent across the board, but the standout for me was the buttermilk fried chicken starter—crispy, tender, and packed with flavour. I've even recreated it to great success from Paul's book (also highly recommended!). Mains and drinks maintained the same high standard, with quality ingredients and well-balanced dishes. With an average spend of around £50 per head for a starter, main and drinks, it felt like great value for the quality on offer. The service was smooth and friendly, and the views from the restaurant were simply stunning—especially if you're lucky enough to visit on a clear sunny day. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Padstow, especially if you're after great food in a relaxed but special setting.

Lucky to stay here for a work event. Great room in the new section - I slept so well. The breakfast buffet selection served in The Rise restaurant was great - cold meat, pastries, juice, coffee, hot food, french toast, waffles, cereals and fruit. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and spotless. The staff are super friendly and couldn’t have done more

Went for dinner with the family and friends and we were all extremely impressed. The service was excellent. From entering to leaving, everyone was great, everyone was friendly and couldn't do enough to make sure we were well looked after. The food was fantastic, every dish from the childrens to adults, starters, mains and desert was amazing. Well presented, cooked to perfection and extremely tasty. We'll definitely go back when in the area again and would highly recommend going there.
