A beautiful pub run by a beautiful family. Martin and Mel couldn’t do enough for us and we felt so welcome. Stunning location and views with amazing food and the comfiest beds. Will be back!

Had a great time with friends at the Harp inn, the staff were extremely welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. The night was topped off by a wholesome vibe in the restaurant. I Couldn’t fault anything especially the food.

Thank you again to The Harp for a wonderful stay. We met the new owners Mel and Martin who looked after us brilliantly. Delightful hotel rooms warm clean and everything you could need. And the food is excellent good choice on the menu. Breakfast great choices especially the English breakfast. Food is hot and served with a smile, nothing is too much trouble for Mel and Martin. Lots to do and see around The Harp if you have not been it’s well worth visit. Get clear skies and look up you will see the Milky Way. Great parking and the prices are reasonable will definitely be going back

Twice I've stayed close nearby and found this restaurant impossible to eat at. I travel alone (as I love to holiday in my vintage caravan), but my partner hates that, so he stays at home!Eating out is my passion and I don't mind spending very good money to indulge this! Both times when I've called the Harp, they've asked how many it's for. When I've told them it's for one, they then say are fully booked. This doesn't make sense to me!Correct me if I'm wrong but what would happen if I said 'seven'?! I wonder: why ask at all if they're fully booked anyway? I smell a rat. Off to the wonderful Stagg at Titley yet again then!

Twice I've been in this week and asked if they're doing food having driven up I a recommendation. Both times the chap behind the bar has gone off to ask, taking ages, then come back and said no. No smile no apologies. I'd heard they were having problems with the chef but when I asked them if this was the case they said no we just fancied a few days off. I'm here on holiday I fancy something to eat on MY days off. Pretty poor. Go to the Stagg at Titley - stunning food and superb service where the staff can't do enough for you.

Fantastic meal, and such a delight that the Stagg Inn, now reopened under a lovely, family team with a top chef, is now back to 'the Stagg' that my partner and I have known and loved for, well, getting on for 30 years. Halibut in a good strong lobster sauce served with samphire; local dry aged fillet steak done rare, exactly as requested, with peppercorn and thyme sauce, oyster mushroom, and great big fat crispy chips; starters were prawns marie rose in a tangy sauce, and scallopsnwitblack pudding, and garlic and herb butter. And, as if inheriting the old Stagg DNA, cointreau and nutmeg creme brulee and baked orange cheesecake as desserts. And local ale Butty Bach on tap. I very much regret to have read one or two unwarrantedly snarky recent reviews on this site, which is why I'm posting this one. Yes, their ebulliant staff member, a delightful and seriously accomplished young person, undertakes diligently her duties of ensuring that diners are happy with the service; which we were. Yes, the restaurant has been tastefully refurbished, ahead of reopening under this great new team. Is Actually, that is as one might expect. And finally, yes, they're not the cheapest, but that's because they're a seriously good restaurant with a Michelin star. And friendly too. Superb meal - well done, guys!
