A Lovely shop, with delicious bread, cakes, biscuits and lots more. Sold sandwiches for takeaway.

Lovely fresh bread, friendly and polite staff, very quick service . I would recommend this shop to all.

Bacon Roll, Cornish ( sorry, Glastonbury ) Pasty, Coffee and Danish Pastry , 10 /10 for friendly service, quality and value, absolutely could not fault it at all, perfect, thank you.

I grew up in Glastonbury but moved away many years ago. But always think of Burns very fondly, to the point every time I go back to visit friends & family, this is one of the first place i go to, firstly to get a Glastonbury Pasty and one of the iced Buns.

Tasty food but if you want a warm pizza you need to ask for it to be warmer otherwise it’s luke warm. Also staff aren’t that cheerful would be nice if they smiled every once in a while.

Nearly cracked a tooth on a shard of plastic in one of their pasties. Apparently from a storage bin but for some reason their staff had not noticed a piece of it missing and did not think to look for it. The rest of the batch was left up for sale so could well have been more in other pasties.

I visited Clarks Village with my family to buy school shoes. Once we had made our shoe purchases we went to the High Street to shop at Greggs. The queue was so long we decided not to wait and how glad were we as we discovered Burns the Bread! The assistant was very pleasant and really helpful. We had three young boys with us who all wanted something different. Nothing was too much trouble, we weren't rushed or hurried in any way. The real plus was the food. Everything was great and the boys asked "when are we coming to Street again because they are better than Greggs!" Only wished we lived a bit closer..........roll on our next visit and thank you Burns the Bread. p.s they all liked the Eccles cake hahaha!

Passed the shop today and noticed they have a non-contact system in place so we stopped and it works perfectly. Thank you, it really made a difference to our day and the goodies were amazing!!

I've hungered for 50 years for a traditional Lardy Cake since my Nan died who used to bake them when I was a kid. Finally found somewhere that bakes them as a round bun cake - absolutely wonderful.

I know this bakery from Glastonbury and as a regular customer of the vegan options they have I was very happy to find this in Street as well. You can certainly taste the knowledge of baking and making good food in their products. My favourite one is the vegan sausage

We decided to have a snack and had a sausage roll and cheese straws. Fresh and enjoyable staff were very pleasant.

Excellent service good selection of cakes. Sat outside with my son and had a coffee along with a sausage roll. Definitely would visit again.

Went here because of the good reviews, for a pasty and a cake. The pasty could have been a bit hotter and a bit tastier, and the cake could have been a bit fresher. Curiously when the woman behind the counter saw me take out my card, she tried to persuade me to use chip and pin rather than contactless as "contactless takes longer" (I used contactless anyway and it took the normal few seconds, so it would have been longer if I'd had to also key in my PIN). Odd. So all in all, just about OK.

Good quality independent baker with great fresh bread and cakes. Good selection of fresh sandwiches and rolls with local ingredients.

Burns is one of the only shops on the high street that has been there my whole life. I used to go as a child after school and go there often for my lunch now, so i have tried pretty much everything on the menu and its all pretty .

Have to try the local pastry in the name of Glastonbury, right? Warm and tasteful, beef and potato, you won't be disappointed.

Everything we bought was amazing...pasties, flapjack, echoes cake, cider nut bread...I only wish we lived closer!!

The sourdough multiseed loaf is delicious and the chia bread (available on Tuesday and Thursdays) is the best bread i’ve ever had! I still don’t understand why people go to Greggs when there is Burns the Bread :0)

Popped in for something to eat on the go, Got myself a hot pasty which i eat on the go around Clarke's village. Also got myself a Rum Truffle as a treat to have with my coffee early evening.

Delicious bread and also great andwiches and rolls. Consistently good. The sandwiches and rolls are fresh that day and the fillings are yummy! Cakes & Latte are good too.

Burns sells gluten free muffins and bread. They are the best I have tasted in 17 years of a wheat free diet! Normal cakes etc are amazing according to my family too!

SOMERTON Burns the Bread is not a patch on the one at Street or Glastonbury ....The choice is very limited and if you go in the afternoon ! The staff have already started putting stuff away and busy winding down and not offering a good...

This local bakers is simply one of the best. You just have to try their Glastonbury pasty. They are awesome. Great range of artisan breads and lovely cakes. Shops all over the Mendips area and beyond. Highly recommended

Love having this on my High St. Great selection of of specialist breads. Cater for gluten free too. They have a good lunch selection and offer outside catering too.

Very much a local baker, the quality of the bread is exceptional - so unusual to find these days. Favourite treats include the cherry danish pastries and classic gingerbread men. Te staff are always friendly despite this being a very busy little shop.

I bought Lardy cake,too small, bread pudding, lovely, apple slice delicious and a roundly loaf. Quite expensive overall. Staff need to be more cheerful

Visit here at least twice a week for my lunch break- not only a great bakery but also a great selection of salads and sandwiches. Also the daily homemade soup with a homemade bread roll for £2.20 is an absolute must!!

I frequent BTB regularly and the quality of food is fantastic. They are a local business which support the local community fantastically and I would urge people to support them.

We are so lucky to have a real bakery on our High Street. Fabulous range of breads but get there early as they often sell out.

Whenever I venture to Street - parking in the town is far from straightforward - I always go to Burns the Bread to stock up with cheese straws, which are top ace. Once there it's a shame not to buy a few buns and cakes...

Had a snack from here while on holiday, top notch and very friendly staff too, had i been there longer i would have tried some of the other cakes they all looked great

Good for all bread ,Rolls .etc .....but if your there for a snack,brunch,lunch and in a hurry try their fabulous Glastonbury Pastie ....sausage rolls are good too

Always pop in when I visit glastonbury. Lovely cakes pies pastry always good fast service. Good place to have a snack. No seating available though but not a problem.

Always good to pop in for a bacon roll or sandwich and they have lots of lovely homemade cakes too! Not too pricey.

We popped in here whilst in Street to see if they had anything suitable for our diet. The woman who served us was very pleasant and we were able to buy a Spelt muffin and a couple of gluten free slices. All were delicious.

Burns the Bread sell a huge range of breads cakes and savouries and they are not too expensive. They will also cater for outside events very reasonably.

Often bought cakes in here because they look so good and indeed taste good .The price is not problem,I just want to eat the contents of the shop!
