The Chuck Wagon in Cookstown

Got burger and chips, chips were good but hardly any salt n vinegar, burger was literally dripping with grease, squeezed it to take 1st bite and it ran like a tap all down my t shirt and onto the wrappers on my knee , I wouldn't eat from here again.

Now. I’ve written a review about these fantastic people before but I can’t recall why I wrote it. I was here not that long ago with my best friend in the whole world Stacie. God I love her. Any who. I got a chip and a fish. Simple? No. Cassie the wee blonde blade has to make it a big deal thinking I didn’t want her food. Poor thing doesn’t even speak a word of English After I got past Cassie and her smelly oul pits I got to Davie well I’m telling you. He wouldn’t make your day. He’d make your whole week he’s a good lad. Food was ok Drink was fine People were fantastic Hole was sore

Not happy with the portion of chips I received recently. I asked for a bag of chips only got little amount on top of a white tray wrapped in a bag very small portion yet expensive for chips definitely not worth price it's a rip off!!! Give more chips in the bags !!!!

Portions for the money are very small. But the food is lovely.

Haven't actually ate from here but I do deliver to the chuck wagon. Clean and well kept. The ladies that work there are super friendly.

Stopped in on my way through Cookstown, what a mistake I made! The staff gossiping about people and even started talking about a young girl who just spent money in the establishment running her down? They must be so perfect themselves! Peppered chicken on chips was a greasy mess, chips were orange and soggy- full of oil! Chicken fillet burger was also extremely greasy. Bacon on burger full of fat! Never again!

No other hot food takeaway cones close to the quality of here. Fast and well cooked food .. friendly staff who get the order right every time

The best chippy in Cookstown! Anytime I'm visiting Cookstown, I apeats have to pay this place a visit. Good value and exceptional food! Always! On street parking outside, but it can be busy and sometimes hard to get a space.

This is a jem of a fast food outlet. A good varied menu with excellent food served with a smile and efficiency

Fab chippy, probably the busiest in cookstown, good portions, prices & lovely staff. Burgers are lovely and are fresh butcher meat burgers not frozen, fish is amazing as are all their products

Not much else to say really, you won't get a better chippy in Cookstown than the Chuck Wagon. Good consistent food, I've never had a bad meal. Staff are pleasant and on the ball even when the place is packed out, which is regularly is. Definitely a safe bet if your in town and fancy some good old fashioned chip shop grub.

Called here recently. Just had a small chip. The chips were cooked very well, really bone dry. The food is cooked from fresh. Good sized portion and not pricey and the staff were very courteous. Would certainly call again when in the area. Certainly would beat any of the chip shops in Magherafelt by far.

Not eaten here in ages but we stopped in on way home.Very good, everything is cooked from fresh when you order so be prepared to wait. This is a good thing. Large portions and delicious food, always packed out. This tells you they are doing something right.

Lovely food and big portions and quite reasonably priced, however if you are tight for time make sure you ring ahead as the queues can sometimes be quite large. A sign how good the place is but also restrictive if you are tight for time. Would recommend but ring your order in

Mi favorito "fish and chips", no te puedes pasar. . . A menos que por supuesto está cerrado. Por suerte es 50 millas de mí o yo sería el tamaño de una casa. Salchichas de ternera son los mejores en el Ulster, junto con las patatas fritas, que son frescas y huesos secos. No te puedes equivocar

Never answer the phone to take phone orders and the weekend!!!

It must be a very popular place to go as it was packed with what seemed to be a happy crowd.Service was excellent and the music was not too loud. Must go back again.

He estado comiendo desde aquí nunca ya que era un niño. Tienen las mejores patatas fritas y salsa y la hamburguesa de filete de pollo es el mejor en ningún otro sitio iv comido. No me puedo quejar.

Seriously slow. Waste of time going at rush hour. Staff is unconcerned laughing and chatting to each other even if they are cued out the door. No point phoning in either coz they don't put it on till you get in and screw there nose up at you. The food is fairly good but the attitude of them put me off. Won't be back

I really like this place. Very nice staff and really good food. I love the chicken fillet burgers and the fish suppers. The gravy chips are hard to beat. Over all I can't say a bad word about this place. If I want chippy food I always go here.
