The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving British food

I hosted my daughter’s baby shower here. The food, service and cocktails were outstanding. What a fabulous bar, the weather was glorious so we had the roof open on the terrace which gave a real Mediterranean feel to the place. Cannot praise the staff highly enough. We were made so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Well done to Amy and the team for making our day so perfect and memorable!!! We will back soon.

Came across Cafe Leads and glad we did. It’s a lovely little cafe just off the main busy road. I had a very smooth latte, well made omelette served by friendliest people working there. If I’m in the area again, I will definitely return. Thank you for the chat as well.

The quality of the coffee became better and they serve V60 now. Guys in the shop are really good. The only issue there is the shop is always smells like something moldy or musty. This makes the place not nice.

Mine and I think everyone's favourite place in Warrington, there is no another cheap place in Uk. Quality live music on weekends, love the place!!

Nunca hemos tenido algo más que de las comidas excepcionales en una gran relación calidad-precio, es una pena que no viven más cerca. Nice cosy family run pub,always welcoming and friendly. Definitely worth a visit. Will be back again.

My wife and I came here for a coffee to start our day. We shared some sourdough toast with butter and jam, while I had a cortado and my wife ordered a chai. We headed out into the garden and took a seat in the morning sun. The toast was excellent – butter and jam may be simple, but it’s always a winner. My cortado was very good, and if we’d stayed longer I’d definitely have had another. My wife, who’s something of a chai enthusiast, didn’t enjoy her drink, unfortunately. We spent around 45 minutes playing a card game before heading off, and overall it was a lovely, relaxing way to begin the day.

Good food. Wasn’t keen on the stressy older woman waitress that was obsessed with who sat where. Wore me out watching her.

Been for coffee a couple of times but it can be quite a wait when busy but everyone lovely and nice place to chill with the dog

Used to use this place quite a lot under the old owners which was very good. Went there a week or so after they left. It was ok nothing special but took a very long time for me to get my food. So I did not go back until tonight. Big mistake I ordered chips and battered sausage. The batter on the sausage was flat doughy and not crispy. The chips well half of them were ok but the other half were reheated ones chucked in towards the end of the cooking making the visit unpleasant.

Personally think this is the best fish and chips in Hastings
