Loved this place , we traveled down from South Shields to watch a football match versus Warrington Rylands. In the desire to find a real ale I walked the 15 minutes to the Albion . What a jewel great welcome from both staff (might have been the boss) and customers. I wish they done bed and breakfast, I could of stopped the week . Oh and the beer was great . What a choice at excellent prices. Don’t think about it pay a visit.

I really enjoyed this pub. It had everything I wanted. Not having been up to the North to sing I had to travel up to attend my brother's funeral. My brother always enjoyed singing so I chose The Albion to sing karaoke. I was a little nervous not being a local (although I was born there but raised in the South). I needn't have worried. Stan Lee the Host was fantastic, mixed the music professionally and let me sing as much as I wanted. A Big Thank You to Stan for being by far the best host I have ever come across. The rest of the staff were also very nice and, of course, the locals were so lovely it was like being surrounded by actual members of my family. I'll know where I'm going the next time I find myself in Warrington. Thank you for helping me to send my brother off in style.

I have visited this pub only a handful of times but wish I'd been more. Felt suspicious of the people because they were so damn friendly. Perhaps over-friendly. I felt I'd been coming here for 10 years because everyone including staff were so nice. Great choice of beer and with very good prices. The atmosphere was infectious and pleasant and reminds me of the old days of when pubs were community based instead of the corporation cold, over-charged and stiff. This place has now won my heart.

Went with family after funeral to celebrate the life of someone who loved this pub. Had never been in before. Was very pleasantly surprised by the large airy rooms , the front one had an open roaring fire to keep the place hot on a cold day. The food was in a back room and was basic buffet fare. The bar was very friendly and efficient. Loved the Christmas decor.

Cracking pub. Made up with the value for money. Looking forward to attending my 1st Albion comedy night next week. It's only Tiny Tim.... it's a great pub with very decent owners and customers. Highly recommend to anyone and everyone.

The Albion is a warm friendly pub which won CAMRA community pub of the year 2017. It also holds popular nights including comedy nights, bingo, live bands and DJ Karaoke, all this and very reasonable prices too.

Lived round the corner for 14 years and never been in until now. Loved it! Nice friendly bar staff and customers... very welcoming. Karaoke was fab (ok... some were questionable but that's what it's all about) can't wait to go again

The Albion is a throw back to what pubs were before successive governments ruined the industry with smoking bans. The Albion is definitely a 'local pub' in that it doesn't serve food ( bar crisps and nuts) just good old fashioned beer and spirits. It deceptive from the outside as it does look 'dated'. However take a step inside and you can tell the owners have spent a lot of money in refurbishment. Every room is clean and new looking. There's lots of entertainment on throughout the week. From live bands through to quiz nights. There's even an open mike comedy night where some famous local comedians have tried out new material. Happy Hour runs from 4 till 7 everyday and needless to say is a hit with locals. And that's who you see in there. Local people from the surrounding community. And because of that, there's rarely any trouble. So if you want a quiet pint, or a pint watching sport, or a night out, The Albion caters for all.

Good food and service! Will be back again soon! Also very reasonably priced. The decor was warm and cosy... just what you need when it starts to get chilly!

Eaten at The Albion a few times at lunchtime. Never been dissapointed. Home made pumpkin soup is the best I've ever tasted. Good choice of real ales and excellent basic menue. Friendly staff and excellent service make this traditional pub well worth a visit. Closed lunchtimes untill Fridays which is our loss.
