Had starters and mains and everything was delicious. The steaks were cooked to perfection. Our server Brandon was super friendly and made sure everything was just the way we asked for.

I am not in Warrington very often but have been here for drinks a few times previously. But this was the first time getting food and I was very impressed. I got the 'Smash Burger' which was excellent. 2 patties which were cooked perfectly which were soft and juicy with an a well seasons and lovely grilled taste. (You can tell that they make the patties themselves) Served in a really soft fresh bun with plenty of cheese and sauce. Not really a smash burger as the patties were definitely not flattened thin enough, but I will forgive them because they tasted so good! Their fries looked fine (from what I could see on other tables) but I asked for the thick chips as personally I normally prefer these (I think these are called beef fat chips on the menu) and they were amazing! Massive chunky thick chips, which were perfectly cooked and soft and fluffy inside. My colleagues all enjoyed their food as well, and the service was also excellent. Best burger I've had for a long time and I would definitely recommend this place.

Last night hired the function room upstairs in the White Hart to host our engagement party. From start to finish, the White Hart have been fantastic. Michelle has been assisting us in organising the event and was fantastic, she couldn’t do enough for us. Highly recommend the White Hart for any kind of event, it holds around 80 people. The room is stunningly decorated already so doesn’t need a lot of decorations. Bar upstairs so no need to travel up and downstairs to get drinks. The food was exceptional and all of our guests gave compliments on the food. We cannot recommend this place enough. Huge thank you to Michelle and also the young lad who was working upstairs, you have both been brilliant!

Food amazing. Staff not quite as attentive as they could be. Music too loud to allow chatter on the tables. They did turn it down slightly but still loud when dining.

I highly recommend the Sunday roast. Really good quality for a reasonable price. The staff were brilliant too! Next visit: Outstanding Christmas special burger! I'm struggling to remember a more enjoyable festive burger I've ingested or even any burger even. The 'Elf is Priestly' had two mouthwatering thick beef patties which were cooked perfectly. Two delightfully crisp and juicy turkey strips and tasty bacon rashers. The sauces added in were incredible, particularly the bacon cranberry sauce which spilled out the bun. A truly superb messy meat stack! The beef dripping chips are a must have at the White Hart. Huge greasy chips with a nice crispy skin. I also had the Chinese chicken bites. Again, these were moist in the middle with a lively crisp batter. Perfectly accompanied by a sticky and sweet plum sauce. I enjoyed every single mouthful of the feast. I've always had a fantastic meal at the White Hart and the staff are always a delight. Certainly one of the best places for food and drink in Warrington!

came for a meal with my boyfriend, we got the safari mixed grill which was amazing! ask for it on a hot stone because then you can cook it to your liking and it makes the whole experience more enjoyable☺️the cocktails are also so good!

They never fail to please….. We didn’t have starters as the dishes are huge and would of been far too much food!….. Entrées: Neil had bone in Pork Tomahawk marinated and grilled with chorizo and garlic sauce…. Served with loaded fries, skin on fries with magic dust, gooey cheese, bacon bites, house sauce with takeaway toppings. I had a burger….. double stack beef and cheese, ketchup and Manc sauce with a glazed short rib, topped with massive onion ring and ranch slaw….. Upgraded my fries to skin on fries, dusted with chip salt with southern fried chicken, cheese sauce, loads of chorizo, marinara sauce, Parmesan and garlic butter….. Neil had a pot of tea and I had a coke. We’ve been back to this pub a good few times now and each new menu has drawn us in each time, the food is sooooo beautiful, piping hot…..and plenty of it, proper belly busters…. We will continue to return as the food is simply perfect… 15th May 2024: ‘Wandering Wednesday’ this week took Hubster Neil and I back a place we’ve been many times previously, they change their menus frequently, hence our returns to…… ‘The White Hart’….. this place never ceases to fail us…. Every time we’ve been the food has been absolutely ‘Spot On’ as my Father in law Arthur, would of said….bless him xx❤️ For starters we both had the same: Flour tortillas, battered cod goujons, tartare sauce, pea purée, shredded lettuce, potato strings and veg, drizzled with a curry sauce dressing….. They were huge and soooo tasty. Entrées: Neil had kangaroo and jalapeño burger with all the trimmings, salad, beef tomato, crisps bacon, spicy sausage and bacon ranch dressing, then topped off with a massive shrimp cooked on the barbie, with added fries on the side….. I had a smashed burger and when it arrived it was ‘double pattie’ with thick fried chicken tenders dipped in honey butter and wing sauce, crispy bacon rashers with gherkins and ranch dressing…… I upgraded my fries to loaded fries, which came with red salt, melted cheese poured over strips of tender steak slices, accompanied with fried onions, peppers, ballpark mustard gherkins, spiced mayo and all sprinkled with Cajun dust….. My eyes popped out of my head when it came, it looked amazing and all the flavours were something else….. Staff are attentive and very polite as always…… Will we return?….. Over and over! Without no doubt at all….xxx❤️ 24th July 2024. ‘Wandering Wednesday’ this week took Rhi, Max, Neil and I to the best burger restaurant in our eyes….. Back to the White Hart. Best burgers ever!! We were celebrating Rhi’s final exam of 7 years Solicitor training and it’s also her birthday tomorrow too….. Happy birthday Our Gorgeous girl xxx Rhi had Seoul destroyer, Max had a WFC burger, Neil and I both had Honey Monster. These burgers are so filling and bursting with flavours. I took screenshots of the burgers contents as it would take ages to write down!! Finishing off back at Max and Rhi house, with a Marks and Spencer’s ‘Connie the caterpillar’ birthday cake…. Great night had by all…. xxx❤️

Lunch time deal with the steaks and get starter and dessert for free is what keeps bringing me back. The food is amazing and so affordable with the deal to make it a regular visit!!! 😍

Tried here for the first time and decided to try out the steak offer. You pay for a steak meal and get a starter and dessert for free. The halloumi fries were full of flavour and much different to the usual kind you get. The steak was cooked perfectly and the beef cooked chips were amazing! You get plenty of them too which is a win win. For dessert I had the banoffee pie. Couldn't fault any of it and for £17.95 for the 3 courses, I will definately be back!

My friend hosted her 30th birthday party in The White Hart's upstairs event space which was a lovely aesthetic area with good amounts of tables and chairs for everyone to sit down but lots of milling around areas for the inevitable standers of the party. The place never felt cramped and was decorated lovely. The bar was well stocked and our barman, Brandon was excellent, so friendly and attentive! He managed the entire area on his own which included serving drinks, serving food, cleaning around us, and not to mention having to corral my friend's eccentric family with a smile. The poor guy did fantastic. Also the food they served was so delicious I would definitely go back here again for lunch or an evening meal on my own. We had pizza, dirty fries, spicy wings, chicken bites and mushroom wings (which sound bizarre but taste amazing, I went back for seconds)! Overall I had an excellent evening and would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to host a party or event. Not to mention the space was free as long as you used their catering, and with catering that good, how could you refuse that deal?

Attended my nieces 30th Birthday at The white Hart, prior to this event I was not aware there was such a stunning function room available in Warrington. The night was perfect in every way, the room is beautiful, the staff both upstairs and down were all friendly and helpful, a special call out to Brandon who managed the whole night faultlessly, nothing was to much trouble, serving and clearing food, serving behind the bar giving recommendations on drinks, The food served - just WOW is the only phrase I can say, it looked amazing, tasted just as delicious, so much so I need to revisit for a lunch/evening meal to try more. Fantastic night - thank you to The White Hart team, you are well and truly on our radar for future events and visits

I can’t praise the staff at the White Hart enough. Michelle, nothing too much trouble and she helped us organise the most perfect 30th Birthday Party. Brandon was the perfect host behind the bar, as well as mingling with the guest when time allowed. Credit should also be given to the Chefs. Saying the food was perfect doesn’t seem to convey how good it actually was. My family loved it so much they want to arrange get togethers again. Constant chatter around the room at how good the food was. The function room is stunning, and again stunning doesn’t convey the beauty of the room/s. White Hart, Thank you very much for making my daughters 30th birthday the best ever x

After our Three Peaks Challenge!!!! My team needed a good place to eat. We researched beforehand. And this place was so accommodating. The management and their staff gave an exemplary service, given we turned up near time for last orders for food. They even helped spring a surprise birthday 🎂 for one of our team. (again, a little forward planning). They even got the evenings entertainment to sing Happy Birthday!! What more can I say. Oh, I know, the food was excellent too. I had the Steak and Ale pie. Most of the team had the Honey Burger. I strongly recommend that anybody in the area should try this place 👍

Best cod & chips ever. Wainwrights real ale IPA is a winner too. The steak meal deal (free appetizer & desert) is worth checking out. Impressive variety: Kangaroo, Buffalo, Zebra (!). Oh yeah, beef too.

Was recommemded by word of mouth. Not dissappointed. Boyfriend had the pork tomahawk as they had ran out of beef ones. I had a smah burger. Excellent food and service. Opened a tab for us even though it was our first time in. Will be going back for the beef tomahawk. 5 stars

Saturday 6th April. I celebrated my retirement with 18 colleagues, We enjoyed a bottomless brunch .we all had a great time the service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble for the manager and the staff they remained friendly and helpful i would recommend a visit .

Excellent food, regularly updated menu. Does get busy as it’s a good reputation so advisable to book if you’re a larger group.

Booked the upstairs for my wife’s 40th birthday. Absolutely amazing night. Staff were so good, especially Michelle. The food was 5*. Couldnt have asked for a better night. Everyone who came to the party was so complimentary about the venue, staff and food. We will certainly recommend the White Hart to all we know. We are booked in for a meal with family very soon, can’t wait to go back. AMAZING, THANK YOU.

Had afternoon tea a few wks ago, and was very impressed. We thought we'd go for a bite to eat on Sunday afternoon. I ordered the beef rib Sunday dinner and my partner ordered the beef rib burger, only to be told that they had no beef rib. I ordered lamb dish, my partner fish and chips with curry sauce and a portion of onion rings. I was asked if i was ok with my lamb being served pink, I was. The lamb was overcooked and dry, with no flavour, the pickled shallots were onions straight from the jar and the vinegar from them overpowered the taste of the sauce. A very disappointing meal, I won't be rushing back.

I recently celebrated my 40th Birthday at the White Hart. It was an amazing night. The food was 10/10. Tastes absolutely amazing and was beautifully presented. The staff went above and beyond. The room was beautiful. A massive thank you to Darren the manager, Michelle the events coordinator and of course Andy the head chef. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening.

Really nice menu, food was great, good service, reasonable prices and friendly staff. Been here a few times as my son lives a short walk away. Great for a shopping lunch as its minutes from Warrington centre. We've had the steak pie and chips and fish and chips and sunday roast, all good. Especially the fattest, loveliest chips you can buy! This is a fixture for us.

Nice thick chips. The buffalo however was not 'extremely tender' as advertised but still quite a nice and new experience. They also have kangaroo on the menu which is pretty crazy but I figured I wouldn't be able to enjoy it. The winter vegetables were decent.

We had a lovely meal last. It was extremely busy but the food was excellent as was the service. It was rather noisy and a little bit drafty where we sat, but it didn't ruin our evening. I will certainly go back there to taste more delights. I want to sample their loaded fries I have heard so much about!

Visited on the weekend and the manager was kind enough to make some space available to us as we were a group in double figures and would have had to split up!

Me and my partner Called into the white heart today for a spot of lunch while out shopping..we had a warm welcome by the lovely Amanda who made sure we had drinks and looked after us from start to finish..the food was amazing and could not fault it. We will definitely be back next time we’re out shopping in Warrington.

Tables booked for a work night out , we had a side room with reserved on all tables, however when we were having our starters we began having customers come in and sitting at a little side table which also had a reserved sign . They were noisy but didnt stay long ...that was just the start. At one point there were 8 drunks in our space , setting drinks on our tables and we were called aggressive when we pointed out it was a private function. Staff saw them and did nothing . Several customers were openly vaping inside but again nothing was said to any of them. The volume of music was so loud it prevented any conversation unless you shouted. Unto the food ...the starters were great no complaints at all and the serving staff polite and efficient. The main course was a let down chicken supreme was not supreme. A tiny chicken breast with a substantial bone a lot of gristle and tough was on a bed of some sort of wilted leaves which were just slimy, the tenderstem broccoli was inedible...florets mushy but the stems were virtually raw, i couldnt even cut them with my knife. The square of potato was the size of half my mobile phone screen. The people who had burgers were happy as were most of the steak eaters but a couple had issues with the steak being very tough. I dont know if our organiser mentioned the issues to any of the staff. This was my first visit and i had looked forward to it as i heard great reports about the food. Unfortunately taking the whole experience into consideration , i won't be making a return visit.

If I could give 10 stars I would! I hosted my baby shower here in the private venue upstairs - honestly the food was 10/10. The seating and decor was lovely, but the service was just absolutely amazing. The staff cared so much and my guests all commented on what a lovely venue it was. If you are looking for a venue to host any event - definitely go for it! Thank you guys!

Had a baby shower here at the white hart. We used the function room upstairs it was perfect would definitely recommend this venue to other people. The food was unreal, everyone was talking about how good the food was afterwards and the attention to detail from the staff was great (they even had a baby themed playlist for music!) Michelle was brilliant in helping plan and organise the event. The mocktail were brilliant and so well thought of! Would highly recommend hosting an event here!!!

Gutted! I have always enjoyed the good pub grub here, however today the steak pie was overly dry and some meat burnt so it was hard like bone also came with no gravy or veg. The chunky chips were not up to scratch either. Whilst the staff were lovely about it and we were given a discount, we were still charged extra for a small side of gravy, which was much needed and being charged at all for something the chef admitted shouldn't have been sent out was, I feel, an error. Unfortunately this means it will be a long while before we eat there again as there are so many places to try, this pub goes to the bottom of the list. 😒

Nicola is a credit to the team, very polite, attentive and welcoming. Food was delicious, nice and relax atmosphere. Lovely visit overall, keep up the good work!

Not impressed with their typical buffet…carbs, cold chips, over cooked chicken in some tough coating of many varieties and tough beef. No way of keeping any of it warm. Another occassion next door with same run of food on large platters. A bust happy atmosphere and nice surroundings with friendly staff and good deal on the cocktails!
