Miller & Carter Steakhouse in Warrington

Came for a lunch which was all great value for money and very well presented and tasted fab. Friendly staff and our waitress Laura was efficient and have great recommendations! Pork tomahawk was beautiful.

Dreadful. Waited 45 minutes for 2 mails to arrive. One was just about lukewarm, the other had been left under a heat lamp so long it was dried out. Seated out of the way, so were forgotten about. After serving the “food”, nobody came back to ask if everything was ok. We would have given the opportunity to rectify, but I wasn’t prepared to chase someone around the restaurant. Manager eventually turned. To be blunt, he looked like a tramp. He said he would’ve liked the opportunity to rectify the issue. When I told him that nobody came back he didn’t believe me. This used to be the go to place for a decent meal. Has gone down hill in recent times so will not be returning

First time at Miller and Carter and it was 10/10. Our waitress Ella was amazing! Very friendly and attentive, we had a slight issue with the food but it was sorted within 2 minutes of us pointing it out! Ella you are an amazing team member, if anyone comes here I recommend Ella as your waitress! 10/10 service 10/10 food

We were greeted with a warm welcome, assigned our server Ella who was efficient and genuine when she spoke to us and served us. The food was incredible and exceptional value! First time we’ve been in a while but we’ll be back!

Back up to 4 stars based on our most recent visits though we do now stick to the basic steaks and sometimes the 50 day aged ones. On last visit had to ask for our lettuce wedges as they didn't arrive before or with the steaks. Decor is starting to look a bit tired in places and could do with a refresh

When we arrived we waited a while for someone to come to the front desk. The person who finally did come was extremely scruffy with unkempt hair, a scruffy jumper, jogging pants & trainers. My understanding is you have a dress code so I made sure our 2 teenagers were smartly dressed, shame your manager or FOH was not the same. We then waited a further 10-15 mins for anyone to come to our table to take a drinks order or just say I’ll be with you asap. I appreciate people can be busy but a quick check in would have taken seconds & made us feel less ignored. When we were finally served our drinks came quite quickly although initially went to the wrong table. Thankfully the food also came out quite quickly & was very good. Shame the greeter & service let you down. It was my 50th birthday, so quite a special occasion. I’d hesitate to return for a special event. I would also add that the couple waiting in front of us at the front desk left 15 minutes or so later without even being served. Perhaps they also disliked being ignored.

Mark was amazing we had so many questions about stakes and he was more than happy to advise us before ordering made the whole process fun and informative we had a great time, recommend 💯 thank you to all there team so friendly warm and welcoming!

This is a great place for a family to catch up! You can always count on a great atmosphere and a welcoming smile from the team. Our service from Jackie at the table was very attentive, who put my elderly parents needs first. We will be back again!

I only leave reviews when something/someone/somewhere is either very good or very bad. This place was EXCELLENT. Great service, the food was delicious with reasonable prices, aswell as more expensive options. We had the lamb, mac & cheese and the Miller Dirty Burger, together with some wings, prawns and ribs on the side. Absolutely to die for. I just wish we didn't live so far away because I would definitely come again. Thankyou 🥰💪

Fiona was an absolutely lovely waitress, served us fast, and was extremely pleasant. Food was lovely, came out fast. 10/10 would recommend to someone who want a nice sit down steak !

Toilets left a-lot to be desired. Other than that we had a lovely meal with an amazing server, Jackie, who was super helpful. Overall a great meal and we will definitely be back.

We had t been to M&C for years and years! We decided to go because we had a dining out gift card which could be used there. We went for the fixed price lunch menu and ordered so much food! It was all delicious! Really lovely and hot, service was great and it was very relaxed. We had our 3 month old baby with us and finding space for a pram, needing to breastfeed, and change a nappy whilst there were all v easy and relaxed 😊 I don’t know why we hadn’t been for so long but we won’t leave it as long next time!

First time we've been here. We were looked after by Alishia, she was awesome. We ordered the surf and turf, and the sirloin steak. Both were amazing. We finished off with a double chocolate brownie which we shared as we were stuffed. Would 100% go again.

Never been before. I remember the old Memphis Bell. Was very surprised how nice it was inside. The food was perfect even though a little expensive. The waitress we had (Alishia I think her name was). was excellent. She recommended the Red wine I had and the meal we had. Will definitely be returning

Good place if you like good quality meat, decently priced, clean, polite and helpful staff.

This was an Uber eats. Food took a long time to arrive and was slightly cool. Steak was not done to instructions (arrived very rare rather than medium). Everything tasted nice, particularly the onion loaf.

Steak was cooked to perfection! Food was hot and well presented. Most importantly Alishia was amazing and attentive. She was warm and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you for an amazing night.

Unplanned visit but so glad we went. The restaurant is beautiful, very spacious and modern. Our waitress, Kadie, was very friendly and polite and nothing was too much trouble. We chose from the Lunchtime special menu which for the price was amazing. Our food was delicious and well presented. We will definately be returning in the future.

Seated facing the kitchen area didn’t like it looking at the sweaty miserable faces of the chefs. Saw our food under the heat lamps but it was there for a good while before the three staff stopped chatting and decided to bring it over, by that time it had dried up, happened with all courses. Food was on a par with tgi’s, nothing special. If it was my business I would have sacked all three servers looking after our area.

Lovely meal at Miller & Carter Warrington for a family celebration (70th). Alisha our waitress was fantastic and extremely attentive and the food was lovely. Really enjoyable evening all round!

Awful service waited over an hour and no starter even turned up. Had 3 young children that were very hungry. 3 chefs on view just stood talking and drinking energy drinks. Asked staff several times were our starter was couldn’t get a honest answer. Restaurant wasn't even busy. Will not be returning. Very disappointing.

Food was terrible my steak I had to send back also the chicken was not good that my daughter in law had and the service was so slow not worth the money they change.

The food was OK, But i have had better, I personally wouldn't rush back to eat here again, I found it over priced and not value for money.

It was a great location plenty of parking , dining area was lovely , great service the strawberry 🍓 sling cocktail was very nice highly recommend. We have been wanting to try Miller And Carter for sometime the food was good we both got 8oz sirloin steak 🥩 cooked to our liking and sides to try . The food was good, but was it the best steak we have ever had (no) and we found it quite pricey. I would go again maybe try something different.

We came for an early dinner on Saturday with our baby and was left feeling so pleased with the baby/family friendly dining experience. Alisha was our server and she was just fab. From knowing what wines to pair for the adults to being very accommodating to our baby’s needs/options… she made it a memorable and enjoyable experience for us. Her service felt genuine - she didn’t even ask for a review!

Had a lovely meal like always do as the food is so nice however the service was terrible ordered out food and drinks and was not seen to again I went the whole meal without a drink no on asking how the food was gave my wife the wrong steak then we speak to a manger who said it's busy which it was not at the time there was a load of seats free and the person who was supposed to be serving us was no where to be seen we had to ask the manager for the bill which was wrong it ruined the night really which is a shame because we have been here numerous times

Although we love the food and the atmosphere, we keep coming back due to service inparticular Alishia! We always hope she is our server and can't comend her knowledge of the food enough. Always there to offer a suggestion on a decision and the conversation is always flowing, respectable and fun 😁
