We went for a birthday meal. our waitress was Claire and she was brilliant.She brought everything that we needed.

We went here with the reviews thought it would be good, had a mixed grill and it was not good at all, the steak was cooked decent, the chicken was dry, the sausage was like cardboard (assume they were from breakfast or something) ordered cake for pudding and waited 35 minutes. We heard the staff taking the mick out of an old couple that had asked how much longer theirs was going to be, which they had ignored a few times. Staff seem more interested in talking and joking with friends. Would avoid!

Been coming here for 18 months, most weeks. Since around November the carvery has gone right down hill. Burnt food, hard burnt roast potatoes, dried out vegetables and either sloppy wet or dried out mash! We stopped coming over December and January as it got so bad but we gave it another chance today and the only thing that has changed is the service from the waitresses has gotten worse. We weren't greeted and seated as usual as the waitress was chatting at the bar and we had no service check where we could have highlighted our issues. We weren't the only people who were unhappy with our food we heard a few complaints from where we were sat. Unfortunately we won't be coming back. On leaving the Waitress was outside smoking. The whole 45 mins we were there we didn't have one interaction with the waitress and it was no wonder we couldn't find her to complain.

Had the best Eton Mass from Nina earlier tonight (Friday 31st January. Although I am writing this at just after midnight so sorry if it shows as being wrote on the day after)! Nina always does the best Eton Mess, she always puts the most amount of sauce and Strawberries on it as well! Her cakes are amazing as well! Always the best Eton Mess when it’s from Nina! Thank you so much to Nina for always making me the best Eton Mess, and thank you so much as well for making it for me tonight even though you had already finished your shift, your Eton Mess is always the best so honestly thank you so much! Please if possible do pass this on to Nina and tell her I said a massive thank you if possible please! I know that the Eton Mess already looks half eaten though in the photos that I’ve attached, it’s because I already started eating it before taking a photo of it 😂😂😂 Thank you so much, Jack!

Booked in advance never had table set for ten manager saying hes had a bad day all the time understaffed carvery good but food wait 40 mins my burger was cold and grey ate the chicken but not taking a chance on a grey burger

What a truly lovely experience! This pub reminds me of my childhood where you felt like they were happy to see you. Arrived strangers but left friends. It was my first time out and about since my baby was born and I was a bit stressed with a 1 year old too. But Siobhan welcomed us and made sure we found the right spot near the play area. She made sure we had everything we needed. The carvery was soooo good. Every aspect of it ("better than Toby Carvery by miles" said mum). Jordan gave us a giggle by giving mum an accidental jump scare when arriving with food and whilst he was cleaning tables he was singing away and my little boy joined in with an 'Ahhhh'. Honestly this may be my new favourite place to eat. Friendly, clean, affordable and Delicious ♡ thank you so much for making us feel special. P.s. the chocolate fudge cake will go down a treat ;)

I came here earlier in the week, and new places are a challenge for me so I can feel rather uncomfortable quite quickly however, I'd like to take the time to mention that one individual really stood out and helped me feel at ease. Thank you to Brandon for your excellent, friendly service. Due to your friendly atmosphere, I'm definitely going to be returning and since then, I've recommended this place to my friends.

Very clean and warm welcoming pub, the food beats is very good and always a good pint with plenty choice, all the staff are great especially Brandon who always goes the extra mile

Attended my granddaughter 16th birthday meal here on the 20th January 2025 was a loving friendly welcome, staff were very helpful and polite, it was clean ,and tidy ,food was hot all meals arrived together 10 of us fantastic service would recommend it to everyone enjoyable night had by all

We booked for my daughters 16th birthday tonight there was 10 people altogether ,we were welcomed into the building by very pleasant staff, very clean our table was set out with the balloons that we dropped off in the afternoon, the food was amazing all food came was hot and was very well presented ,not 1 complaint from anyone all had empty plates ,those plates were cleaned away quiet promptly and the birthday girls cookie came out with the candles on that we had Bought all the ,3 members off staff all came over to us to sing happy birthday to sing with us to her which I thought was amazing as they were really busy, We were all very pleased, would 100 % recommend. Our sever was a lady called Claire J. Lovely lady very polite 😀 helped made my daughters birthday meal that extra special We gave the staff little cakes which they loved 😍 THANKS YOU SO MUCH EVERYONE AT CHAPELFORD FARM YOUR AMAZING

Most excellent pub/diner, Vini the manager is probably the best I have ever had the pleasure to meet, he's a true gent going above and beyond his role, working as a server, and chatting to customers.

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at Chapelford Farm! The gammon was tender, flavorful and generously portioned. Beautiful setting, attentive staff and excellent value. We'll definitely return! 5/5 stars.

DISGUSTING, DISSATISFIED, DISAPPOINTING are just a few words to describe our very short visit tonight. Earlier on in the week we had book a table of 16 to celebrate my mother’s 50th birthday meal Today, to which we had been left very upset and sadden by. Upon our arrival at the restaurant we where sadly informed that there soft drinks where not currently working due to a system error which we could understand, after that we had then been informed that there was no longer a carvery for us as they had closed this early leaving us stuck as this was the reason why we chose the destination to book. We where not given any alternative options and we had been given a measly sorry even though they knew that they where expecting a table of 16 guests due to the booking had been in place for over a week. We were then without a place to celebrate my mother’s 50th birthday. After this we were lucky enough to be accommodated by the Toby carvery who saved the day. I know where I will be sticking to for any future carvery’s! Chapelford farm, you have left us extremely disappointed nearly ruining our special day ! Would have happily left 0stars, any kind of response will certainly not be good enough to make up for this shocking service.

Had a lovely carvery, great price , nice atmosphere and even went up for seconds.

What a disgrace… I am stood in a queue with my children waiting to be served … staff all stood about … was waiting for over twenty minutes until someone eventually could come over and could be bothered to serve me… 🥴

Really nice food I rate 8/10 chips could have been warmer and no notice about the chicken wing that were covered in bbq sauce, beautiful atmosphere, nice lemonade, overall I would rate this place a 9,3/10 I definitely recommend comming here for tea or even just drinks, personally I would come back

This is our first visit to Chapelford Farm the food was Amazing the portions were out of this world., the service by Suzy was very friendly and welcoming. Nothing was to much trouble. A* for this Farm House Pub and will definitely come and visit again as we are not local! Thanks again Suzy!

Busy carvery means that the food is always fresh, service is good, still taking orders via the app or face to face at the bar. Always welcoming and reasonable price.

Starters cold and half of them delayed by 10 mins. Queue for carvery was ridiculous, losing valuable family time at the table. Wasn’t offered desserts, just told that our table was needed and we would get them boxed up. No after tea/coffee or anything. Service was an absolute shambles from start to finish. My poor 82 year old mum paid almost £700 for that table and was left very upset. My mum has spoken to the manager Vinny who blamed it on a 7 month pregnant waitress who was already rushed off her feet and was carrying large amounts of plates etc. Appalling for a manager to point blame instead of dealing with the matter discreetly and professionally. I believe that greed was the problem here.

Called in for a late lunch last week and we decided to have a small Carvery. We were greeted by friendly staff. My wife returned to our table with her Carvery and I noted that here plate was well laden. I decided that I might have difficulty in eating the same meal.as I suffer from Parkinson’s disease and have difficulty in using cutlery and have a small appetite. The chef on the Carvery, Adam, was very helpful and ensured that it was not a problem and insisted on carrying my food to our table and made a point of returning to check if we needs further assistance. The matter was conducted in a very helpful and sensitive manner. The food was very good and the visit was worthy of praise, hence this comment

We enjoyed the visit the service was good and the staff were friendly and polite. Unfortunately we had to witness a manager chastising a member of his team on the shop floor instead of in private. Also the high chair that was supplied by the pub had not been cleaned. My daughter had to speak to a member of staff to have the chair cleaned before she could put my grandson in it.
