lovely staff not rushed .varied menu and reasonably priced have been a few times and will be returning yet again

We called in here last Saturday. On walking in it was nice and warm and the staff were very friendly. All the food is cooked to order. I ordered eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and my hubby had a normal full english breakfast. We shared a pot of tea and Michelle came over to us introducing herself and chatting about items in the shop. The lovely tea cups we had were her grandparents. How nice not to be given a pottery mug put you can have one if you want to. Breakfast arrived and it was just perfect we really enjoyed the food, decor and a nice conversation with the owner. The other staff in the shop were also very attentive to everyone who came in. Michelle we will be back very soon 100% recomend

We had lunch here today after a recommendation from the Art Gallery. I had the Welsh Rarebit which was perfect and my husband enjoyed the lunch special with chips, soup, sandwich and salad plus a cake. The staff are so friendly and we had a great chat with the owner. I would certainly recommend it.

Visited Shellys whilst in Warrington as had rea about their excellent breakfasts on here. Having checked the opening times I arrived just after 9am and checked the menu outside before entering, Upon going inside I was greeted and had a pick of the tables so went for the comfy backed bench. I ordered the full english and a pot of tea and sat back relaxing whilst waiting for my food. After a short while my drink was brought out and then a little bit later my food arrived. Presentation was good. All the food looked fresh and locally sourced and was piping hot. All was cooked to perfection including the poached egg and I enjoyed eating all of it. Special mention for the sausage and black pudding which were both excellent. After finishing my food I didn't feel any pressure to leave so as I had some spare time I could sit back and relax with my tea. Overall a lovely place to visit for a fresh breakfast and not expensive. The staff were friendly and engaging without being in your face which added to the experience. Will be going again when next in the area.

Found Shellys by accident today after a visit to the museum. What a gem. My friend and I both ordered the soup and sandwich option. Lovely home made soup and the sandwich came with the best chips I’ve ever had apart from my own!!! Topped it all off with divine little lemon cake and coffee. Served by Ellie who was very sweet and made us feel really welcome. Just wish I could move the whole place nearer to home.

Well this place has the lot,Quality homemade food,in a great central location,with lots of character and amazing staff lead by owner Shelly Quality,Range and Price it’s got the lot,I am glad it’s only a bus ride away,but anyone visiting Warrington it’s a Must Not To Be Missed.

This place is like an oasis in the town centre. It is convenient, clean and very friendly. The menu is always interesting and the food never fails to impress. It is 15 years since Shelley’s opened and is always up to the mark with current decor and food fashions. Every visit has always impressed me whether it’s for a full blown meal, afternoon tea or a light bite, if there is such a thing. Great food, well presented and always fresh.

Everything feels homey in there, can’t believe i missed it all this time. Has a lot of personality and everybody was lovely. Definitely will be going again.

Visited for lunch. Ordered the vegan salad, really nice with lots of veggies, strawberries, mango & wraps. Chilli jam delightful! Would like to see some vegan options on the sandwich menu, a vegan club sandwich would go down a treat! Lovely customer service.

We were really looking forward to breakfast here based on some positive reviews, turned out to be pretty poor. Ordered a full English which was quite good and steak and eggs which came with chips and English mustard. Well, it didn't really. I wasn't asked how I would like the steak, so I had to settle for something Pirelli would use. This was presented to me with 2 eggs, both overcooked and continued to be cooked as the plate was so hot you literally could not touch it. I know because the girl who served me gave it to me in my hands as her back didn't work properly to bend over and put it On the table. After almost 5 minutes the chips arrived. They were fat, undercooked and mysteriously blackened. I then enquired about the English mustard. A few minutes later I was presented with Dijon. Apparantly no English despite as advertised on the menu. I didn't eat very much. On paying the bill (yes, I paid!) I told one if the other girls that the steak was truly awlful. Her response... that's £20.28. Giving her the benefit of the doubt, I told her again. Her response... would you like a receipt? She might aswell of just said I couldn't be arsed. Like the girl who cooked the steak and the one who brought it to me in stages!!!

Whenever I go to Warrington, Shelly’s Is a MUST!! Good quality homemade food and lovely friendly staff. Something that is sadly missing from a lot of eateries these days

Myself and my fiancé travelled the 45 minute drive specifically to visit Shelley's restaurant. We had visited a number of years ago but have been working on getting into our wedding outfits so our diet has been not so interesting . Hence the trip to Shelleys. The eggs benedict are sublime almost to the point where I nearly asked for 2 helpings. Shelly herself was polite, attentive and cheery, adding to the experience. We will definitely visit again. Possibly going for a full English (after the wedding of course 😂) next time.

Visited with my teenage daughter today , first visit , older lady serving on her own , wasn’t very friendly at first, i ordered full english but wanted to swap the mushroom, tomato and black pudding , for extra a egg, even offered pay the extra, but u could clearly see they like to stay to set menu, pulled her face etc, next brought my latte, but no sugar ? So we had to go find her? was stood there waiting for her notice me, another member of staff arrived, the one serving us seemed more friendly once she arrived , poached eggs and bacon where lovely just shame about the flexibility? Which will put us off returning.

Whenever coming to town for lunch Shelly's is our go to place. Food is delicious and presented lovely and always made fresh. Staff friendly and Shelly always comes to say hello to the table, I think all the visitors are regulars. I like the quirkiness of the place and the gins a speciality! I have my eye on the prosecco afternoon tea for next visit

Just nipped into this cafe for the first time as it looked very inviting and wanted a quick coffee and toast before getting a train. Entered at approx 9:30. There was a mixer in the kitchen whirling round unattended, I shouted several times but no one came. We left the premises only to pass a lady outside in a Shelley’s polo who clearly saw us enter and more worryingly depart and said nothing. Unbelievable!

The hubby and myself popped in for lunch was pleased to find that it was all home cooked and absolutely delicious, despite being full I had to squeeze in a piece of Shelly's homemade lemon meringue.

Excellent service and the food was fantastic! My girlfriend has a gluten intolerance and vegetarian, Shelly swapped out all the meat in a full English and added a range of cheeses and fresh vegetables to my girlfriend's delight! 5 stars would defiantly come again!

I’m still struggling to believe I have lived in Warrington for so long and didnt know this place existed! Was walking past on the way to Wetherspoons for breakfast and could smell the breakfast being cooked so decided to give it a try. So glad we did. Fabulous fresh well cooked great food. We had a full breakfast and bacon on toast. Wonderful food great cup of coffee. Cant recommend highly enough. Please give it a try. We will definitely going back soon and often.

We like to go into town on a Saturday morning to have breakfast before we tackle the weekly shop. We discovered Shelly’s tucked away in a side street. We loved the atmosphere, staff were friendly and welcoming, the restaurant was bright and clean but with a homely feel. We have now found our new destination for our Saturday morning breakfast. The food was tasty and portion sizes were generous. If you’re looking for somewhere to eat give Shelly’s a visit.

Discovered by accident but what a little treasure. Perfect for a breakfast with a nice cuppa or soup and a sandwich, they also have dinner nights on a regular basis.

Went today for breakfast with my family and friend and Shelly couldn't do enough to help my friend who's a coeliac and vegan. She was shown into the kitchen to check ingredients to see if she could have the beans which she could! And was given the most gorgeous breakfast plate ever! We were all very envious! Would highly recommend.

Lovely little place, they do a great club sandwich and Welsh rarebit and the service is very attentive. It was so busy last time we were there we couldn't get a table, but we'll be back soon!

We stumbled on this place while in Warrington for an hour waiting for a rail connection one morning. The full breakfast was excellent, and the staff were very sympathetic to our time restraint and brought the food out as promptly as they could, which we greatly appreciated. However had we not been under pressure I'd definitely have been happy to linger, the venue is small and homey but with pretty cool (dare I say 'quirky'?) decor and a very cosy feel. We were there in December and it was pretty cold outside, so the cosiness was appreciated!

My wife and I were visiting Warrington Museum and asked a member of staff where would be good for lunch. He suggested Shelly's and gave us directions - it is just a few minutes walk from the museum. We had a very nice lunch. There were plenty of options on the menu. The food was very nice and the sevice helpful and friendly. It was good value for money too.

I visited this lovely place with my friend for lunch. The food is fabulous. We had tea in a big pot with China cups which we loved ! The service is second to none so friendly. We will definitely be returning.

Popped in for a coffee with my partner, really lovely cafe with a quirky interior and coffee was reasonably priced too. Staff were very helpful and friendly, we even got a piece of cake on the house! We didn't have any food off the menu but other people's plates certainly looked temping. Would definitely recommend!

Visited this restaurant for lunch with my husband and mum. It is a welcoming and tastefully decorated place. The food is freshly cooked, well presented and very tasty. The menu has a great selection. I had mango, prawn and avocado salad. Yummy II My husband had steak baguette. The steak was cooked to perfection. It came with homemade chips and a little pot of gravy. My mum had a prawn sandwich and homemade broccoli soup.The service is great and the owner is a lovely lady who warmly welcomes you. I would definitely recommend a visit to this little gem!!

Searching for a late lunch in Warrington, I was delighted to stumble upon this lovely restaurant, almost by accident, having gone down the wrong side street!The proprietor was a joy and the waitress dealt with our specific needs; mine a hearty meal, my companion a coeliac; and the meal was lovely. I'll be back and can definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone. Seldom do you find poor restaurants nowadays, such is the competition, BUT exceptional is rare. Shelleys is that rare place you can feel spoilt. Thank you.

On a very recent visit to Warrington I decided to "google" where I could go for a decent breakfast. My search resulted in finding Shellys- and what a find!Absolutely amazing breakfast - I had eggs benedict and my partner had a traditional cooked breakfast. Both were faultless. All cooked fresh, piping hot and with superb quality ingredients. Tea was also served in china tea cups - best cup of tea out for a long while! The lady owner/chef came and chatted to us once we had finished, so very friendly.The decor is tasteful and unusual and everything about this place is fantastic. A true hidden gem and one we will visit again and again on our next visit to Warrington

My partner and I have just had a lovely lunch, gammon egg and chips (real chips) to die for including bread and butter (real butter too). The staff are lovely and friendly and make you feel very welcome. Food is amazing, I had the vegetarian club sandwich which I would recommend, partner had the pulled pork and son had a steak burger. My husband and i visited Shelly's today for the first time. What a lovely find. The restaurant was warm and welcoming, staff very friendly. Our order was taken straight away. Our sandwiches, were delicious, fresh ingredients and lots of fillings. I had a scrumptious warm cherry scone, served with clotted cream and jam, my husband had a fruit muffin, again delicious. Hilight was meeting Shelly the owner, her fun personality shone through, making the restaurant warm, welcoming, friendly and cosy.Can't wait to return.

I went for breakfast here on Monday 23rd January with my boyfriend. The food was all fresh local produce, expertly cooked. We both had a full English, there was no fault to be found. The sausages & black pudding are gorgeous! The service was amazing, so friendly & warm, Shelly is such a lovely lady.......she's not a cook running a cafe, she's worked with top chefs & knows her stuff!! We're going back next week!

This is only a small restaurant but it serves good food and has a friendly atmosphere. The menu isn't vast but sufficient for the size of restaurant.

Love the food here at Shellys. Good old fashioned home cooked food with friendly service. The cheesecake is a firm favourite of mine having been on a number of occasions now and always enjoyed it. Convenient location for town centre.

Shelly’s has a unique character that not all food experiences comes with, the owner truly cares about the environment in which you eat your food, she has a great ability of knowing her customers, we held an 80th here before Christmas and Yes we have all done main stream food places, our experience was second to none – the food is cooked from the in house AGA and its bloody piping hot, no electric lamps required, you have to wait because the food is cooked not warmed up in some industrial machine, we spend many Saturdays at Shelley’s and Love it.

I/we have been to this restaurant many times, it sells excellent homemade food. It is also licensed and is open for dinner certain evenings.

Was in Warrington for a job interview and had travelled up from South Wales. It was around 1130am and I fancied breakfast upon arrival.However, they'd just finished serving! I was considering leaving, but the place was kinda full and usually a good sign of somewhere great to eat.I ended up staying and ordered a cuppa, along with fish & chips.The tea was enough for 2 cups and served ever so elegantly in a small china teapot that sat upon the cup to keep it warm. The fish and chips were lovely, with a hulking piece of bread and no skimping on the butter. It made for a cracking chip butty. A lovely place for lunch, and the 2 women serving were absolute stars - ensuring I had everything and was happy.

Knocked out by this place! We were greeted by a really charming waitress and then introduced to Shelly who was lovely and helpful. The decor is stunning and the food very tasty. The menu is eclectic and both veggies and people with gluten intolerance are amply catered for!At present it is only open for lunch but Shelly plans to extend the hours as business builds up. I can't recommend this place highly enough - go enjoy!

The cafe has been re-decorated recently, and has tried to be a bit more modern. Sadly, I think this takes away from it's traditional reputation, and the tables seem too big and dark for the room. The food's ok, but a bit pricey for what you get. The proprietor often comes to chat to people at their tables. I'm sure she's genuinely friendly and wants to get to know her customers, but it feels a little pretentious. Sorry.... Worth a visit though. And if you like steak and strawberries, there's often an offer on.

Small restaurant run by two very friendly ladies. Very clean and tidy. Good menu of traditional English fare. A group of us went at lunchtime and without exception everyone enjoyed the food. Excellent fresh sandwiches and salads beautifully presented, the fish and chips was superb with a good sized fillet of cod in a very light batter. Around £10 including an apple juice. Would definitely recommend.

We booked Shelly's for a private function, my daughters birthday afternoon tea. We have a large family and cannot all fit into one house, so Shelly's was the next best option. Shelly could not have done more for us, she designed the menu package and made us very welcome, she even brought out small gifts for the very young children there. There was a good selection of food to cater for vegetarians and wheat intolerant people. We had a fab afternoon and were not rushed in any way, the best part was that we did not have to clear up afterwards. Shelly's place is really great for any occasion, not just a celebration, we have eaten lunch and had morning coffee there on many occasion, Shelly and her staff are always so friendly and accommodating whatever your need is, and she always has time for a chat.

I have dined at Shelly's several times over the last few years, but never reviewed it. The food has always been good, the sevice is friendly, and good value, and there are not many establishments around that still serve home cooked chips instead of the frozen, inferior variety. Give it a try, and you won't be disappointed.

Visited for lunch...really nice dining experience in comfortable surroundings. We had steak and salad, freshly prepared and cooked. The Owner (Chef) visited our table to ask if all was okay, a good sign, she was really nice and friendly.The food is served quickly, but to improve further I think a little focus is required on the service, clearing plates was a little slow and waitresses could be a little more attentive I feel. Would definitely return again!

I love it here. I'm quite picky about where I eat, and this is one of only a handful of places where I repeatedly come back again and again. It's absolutely lovely. The food is home made, not mass produced and frozen, and the portions are very generous. The staff are so warm and friendly, a big plus for me, and the prices are about right for a small restaurant. I'm vegetarian, and can highly recommend the vegetarian club sandwich followed by a slice of Shellys homemade Oreo cheesecake! Just wonderful.

only have a couple of words due to the fact i have only been here for one thing. BUBBLE TEA this place is one of the only places in warrington where you can buy bubble tea for a good price and good quality absolutely fantastic.

Have visited this restaurant before and love the décor and enjoyed the previous lunch. It has a warm look and feel, love the décor and nicely laid tables but all that means nothing if service is missing?. We arrived at 1100hrs on Friday for a late breakfast which on the window they say they serve until 1130hrs. sat at a table, there were 3 tables occupied, total of 6 customers and one just leaving. We sat patiently while a lady walked between one table and the kitchen a few times but went back to the kitchen for long periods, no other staff at the counter . 2 other customers came in one of which walked up to the counter to ask for a menu from a guy just leaving, I assume a member of staff , we waited another 4 or 5 mins and then decided that if it takes that long to even give an order then there must be a problem. Why the lady did not simply offer an apology for lack of staff or something but to expect customers to just sit and wait for this length of time is a joke!. Obviously from the other reviews the restaurant has a loyal customer base and provide good quality food but on this occasion it did not work for me. Yes I could have knocked on the counter or the kitchen door for attention but that is not what I pay good money for!. A rare bad TA comment from me but the issue of poor service has been raised on other TA comments so obviously the owner is not bothered what I write??.

Greeted as though I was a long standing friend even though I hadn't visited in over 12 months. Decor is very elegant. Nipped in for a cup of tea (only had half an hour due to parking restrictions) but couldn't resist the Club Sandwich. Very delicious and the tea was delivered with classy Wedgewood china.You won't regret your visit to Shelley's. Enjoy

Had a lovely lunch at a very reasonable price. Restaurant area is nicely decorated and very clean. I presume we were served by Shelly who was also pleasant. Would definitely use again. We also saw that they do an evening entertainment menu with singer, nice idea.

This place really could be amazing, we've recently attended and credit where credit is due the food is lovely, very fresh, good home cooked food. The downstairs area is also nicely decorated and has a nice feel to it. I would of given 5 stars but a great restaurant isn't just about the food, it's the service too. And being rushed out of somewhere because they want to close is a no no, especial in the afternoon! staff sitting there with their coats on, waiting to go! Comments such as "is there anything to clear away? Because I'm 'getting off now'" isn't great service, I've been on a good few occasions but unfortunately the service just lets it down. However! If you're just after some nice food and you're not fussed about the service then you'll love it

Well located for main shopping area. Small. cosy and friendly. Lovely food at good prices. Visited several times now and never disappointed.........except the time when they had already run out of the wonderful home cooked pulled pork! Must remember to go earlier next time!

I love it here! I love sitting downstairs its really warm and comfortable! Food is amazing and portions are just about right!Would have given 5 star but one waitress was so grumpy, it was almost funny!

We came here as the White Hart had stopped doing breakfast we both had full breakfast, the produce was lovely but the amount was stingy, I mean half a black pudding each, I have never had a breakfast and been given half a black pudding, I think for the amount the price was too much, staff were lovely but we won't be going back sorry, my friend was still hungry when we left.

Visited with my wife for breakfast one Saturday morning & have to say the food was absolutely superb. The only issue on this visit was the service which started well but turned into total confusion as we saw toast orders being delivered to one table then moved to another table after the first table had started eating. As the service had become so confused, I decided to go up to the till & ask for our bill after we'd finished our meals but even this seemed to go amiss as we had to go back again after 10 minutes & ask again. However, maybe we caught them on a bad day as the food itself was extremely good.

I have been lunching at Shelly's with numerous friends for a few years and have never ever had a bad meal or experience, attentive friendly staff, all the food is homemade and delicious, you will be hard pushed to find a better restaurant.

We eat here regularly on a Saturday morning and always enjoy the full English....a rare naughty treat. It's very well cooked, high quality sausage and bacon and my wife loves the poached eggs and Eggs Benedict. It's a great way to start the day.

I had a lovely lunch at Shelly's yesterday. Egg, cress and mayo sandwiches probably doesn't sound very exciting but I love egg sandwiches! I asked for it on brown bread without butter and I wasn't disappointed. I don't think I have ever had a better one in my life! It was beautifully presented with a good salad and lovely sautéed potatoes. The service was good, my tea was served while I waited for the sandwiches to be made and both Shelly herself and the waitress made me feel very welcome. The decor is nice and the restaurant seems to be very clean. If you haven't tried it I suggest you give the M & S restaurant a miss and call in. The cakes look yummy although I did resist the temptation!

I went to Shelly's Restaurant in Warrington on 11th February 2016 afternoon. The staff was very friendly, and gave a good service. There was a good variety on the menu, and a few specials, including vegetarian lasagna. The food was reasonably priced and tasted good. I had a lovely lunch and would go back.

Attended venue thought oldie looking tea rooms was comfortable but expensive,Staff contact a little to friendly but was a quiet day.Set up lends to being able to be comfortable without people banging into you.Would recommended if not on budget as lots to choose.

I've been here three times. The first visit was great and the food was lovely. The second time, it was a bit busier and the service was slower, which was understandable, but the third time, I was sat at my table for a good 10 minutes before the waitress came over. She said she would come right back with a menu, but nearly 10 minutes later, no menu. To make matters worse, I could see her doing nothing stood daydreaming behind the till. I decided to leave. Even then she didn't come over with a menu! Will not be going back.

We visited on spec for Saturday lunch. What a find!! The place has been very well thought out. Lovely atmosphere, stylish interior, good menu choice and efficient staff. The owner went out of her way to speak to each table. A very nice touch. We will definitely be back. Worth a trip to Warrington especially. Thank you. The chips were to die for :-)

A pleasant place to enjoy a firts class breakfast or lunch.The menu is not extensive but it provides a good choice and not had anything that I didn't like,Each customer is treated as personal friend and the staff have time to talk with everyone while getting on with serving.Prices are slightly higher than a cafe but then the food is of a higher quality anyway so you get exactly what you pay for,Well worth a visit and they also have a function room available,

I've walked past this place any number of times and never thought twice. Finally tried it for lunch and it was excellent. Pleasant surroundings, friendly, professional service and great food. Had the lunch time special which was home made quiche, packed with veg and the best pastry I've had in a long time. Will be back.

An excellent venue, very friendly staff, food was delicious - Kids breakfast (made in the shape of a face!) was complimentary which was such a nice touch. Lovely decor, very clean with a real buzz ( I can understand why it gets so busy!) Breakfasts very cheap, hot and fresh - perfect amount!Would advise any families to head there for a great breakfast or for a lovely homemade lunch.T

I must have walked past this place dozens of times and never noticed it. We popped in yesterday with half an hour to spare, and ordered a coffee and a portion of chips between us. The atmosphere was lovely, the coffee good (no soya milk though) and the chips were obviously home-made, plentiful and served with mayo and ketchup dipping pots. I will be back.

We were in town on a Saturday morning and 7 of us with a 3 year old stopped in for breakfast. Wow! What a reception we received. Tables were quickly moved around to accommodate us. The infant was served first with toast and beans etc and then came out the crayons and other party bits that kept him entertained whilst the adults enjoyed the full English or eggs benedict etc with plentiful tea and coffee. The place was already crowded (we could see why) but staff made us feel really welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Our food was quickly served and there were frequent checks to see we had everything we needed. The cost was less than we expected and the child's meal and drink came complimentary.Its been a few years since we were last in Shelly's but that's been too long and we will be back soon as we've rediscovered a little gem right in the heart of town. Very clean and tidy, hot food that is quickly prepared and served with a smile at a price we were happy to pay. We can't say more other than we are looking forward to our next visit.

Went to Shellys earlier this week with my mum on a shopping trip for breakfast. Both of us choose a full breakfast. With out a doubt this was the nicest, best cooked, care and attention gone into making breakfast I've ever had. Each element was full of flavor and staff very attentive. The lady serving was explaining how she has an Aga at the back where each breakfast is made to order... You could really tell!The inside of the restaurant was also a very pleasant place to be, tastefully furnished and a welcoming atmosphere. Week definitely return!

I never knew this place existed until my wife received a recommendation. We went for lunch and really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was of great quality. The owner was very attentive and full of amusing tales. She found out that my daughter had just come from her birthday party and promptly produced a cake with a candle for her - a really nice touch.

I had the most wonderful Welsh Rarebit (with eggs). Best I have ever tasted.Staff were very friendly and attentive. Have tried this place before and found it excellent

I have visited Shelly's a few times but the one that sticks in my mind is our Mother's day meal. As I'm not very organised we were last minute to try and find somewhere to take our mum, Shelly's managed to squeeze us in. She is very good at making food to your taste and the deserts are wonderful as well. Would definitely go back.

Impressed, as always. Shelly's is good quality, home cooked food with a lovely personal twist. I've eaten here many times with family, friends and my husband. This trip was no exception to the rule, a lovely afternoon tea with my mum... fabulous food, lovely service and a great gossip with the eccentric owner :) we'll be back, always wish it was open more!

Visited a little while back and found the food to be mediocre and better available elsewhere! The place itself tries hard especially the staff but the owner is decidedly bad tempered not only with customers but also with staff!I was appalled to hear the owner dress down a young lady who had ordered the special only to be told that it was no longer available (still on menu though!?) she then took the advice of the waitress and re-selected only to find herself the victim of a verbal onslaught from the owner about changing her mind this was totally uncalled for and ,in my opinion bullying of a young lady!? Maybe SHELLY feels that she no longer has anything to prove when it comes to customer satisfaction but this is a very fickle world and I for one will be taking my custom elsewhere (even though it was not directed at me) just in case I am her next VICTIM!!

Enjoyed a lovely lunch here today with two friends. Nice varied menu to choose from including vegetarian options, of which one I chose which was delicious. The service was friendly and efficient and the surroundings were lovely and comfortable. Prices were reasonable - overall very good value for money - will definitely return!

We love this place, have been several times and have always had a welcoming greeting and found a friendly atmosphere. The food is lovely with that authentic home cooked feel and taste. My daughter loves the new bubble teas on offer and would highly recommend them to anyone wanting something that little bit different. I love this place and cannot fault it at all.

I decided to take my mum for lunch to Shelly's. We had never been before (that was our loss) but we will certainly be returning again. I was recommended to try the smoked haddock chowder and it was really superb; I hope it now gets added to the lunch menu. My mum had the steak burger and chips which was also lovely. The chips reminded me of my mums from years ago that were made in a proper chip pan; you just can't beat them! The atmosphere and the decor inside was really welcoming. I would definitely give it a try if you want great food, great value and a great setting.
