Tucked away in a previously unknown to me part of Leeds this bar offers, a place of calm and chill that most of Leeds can’t. From the charcuterie to the drinks there wasn’t a flaw. The cocktails are beautiful visually and taste fantastic. Our server Fran, was attentive and hilarious. Farrands has filled a hole in the Leeds nightlife that I didn’t know was there.

1st time in, as a recommendation, and didn't disappoint. Our server / waitress was very attentive and constantly smiling. Very nice to see, keep it up

Incredibly friendly service, lovely list of cocktails and other drinks but the bar staff are also happy for you to order off menu. It's a small bar which packs a punch, would happily recommend. We didn't eat so I can't comment on the food.

9 of us came, family including parents for cocktails and experienced wonderful friendly and helpful table service and fabulous drinks. We didn't eat but the food looked good. Great new find and we can't wait to come back. Keep up the good work.

Looking for some where to have a drink at Pride. We were introduced to the seating at the back. The roof was open and there was a lovely cool breeze. As we sat down we were given crisps and a jug of water. Love being looked after like that. We each had a cocktail. Also tried the mini cocktail which was just right. Had the cheese board. Good portion and requested some more of the warm bread. Very friendly staff. Would go again.

My husband and I called for drinks on our way out for a meal. We were greeted by the most attentive and smiling waiter unfortunately we didn’t get their name but it was a pleasure to have such excellent customer service. The 3 choices of wine in the wine flight were very good. Overall we were only there for a short time but what a lovely little place we will definitely be back. One very small gripe would be the music was just a tad too high, the place wasn’t full and it could have done with being just a notch lower.

Been coming to Farrands since it opened. It’s just always a really good vibe. All the staff are lovely and the drinks are 10/10.

Great atmosphere, lovely staff, a brilliant outside seating area with a retractable roof for the summer months. It’s a small intimate venue with table service drinks and small nibbles available. We didn’t try the food but it looked nice on the other tables. Beer selection is small but it has an extensive cocktail menu and some lovely wines on offer.

We booked here as we had a nearby reservation, it made for a pre-drink venue. Service was outstanding; the drinks were beautifully presented and carefully described. The menu is classy and refined. Absolutely loved it from start to end. Wonderful outside/inside terrace area. Highly recommend.

Farrands is a go-to for my boyfriend and I for a date night with a fantastic atmosphere, unique cocktails that never miss, and a very reasonably priced cheeseboard. The service has always been amazing but last weekend in particular we were looked after by Ana (hope I got her name right!) who went above and beyond, so shoutout to her! I'm very pleased at the addition of orange wine to the menu since my last visit and would love to see the selection expanded. Farrands remains high on our list of favourite spots and we can't wait to return any chance we get.

This place offers the BEST SERVICE I have ever experienced in the UK. The staff are lovely, genuinely polite, friendly and FANTASTIC 😍 The cocktails are spectacular and the atmosphere wonderful 😊 well done to everyone and the management too!

Amazing cocktails and wine list and amiable helpful staff. I tried a few different cocktails and was impressed by all of the creations. This is a bar in Leeds that is different and stands out from the crowd as an experience! I will be back for sure, cheers

Great little bar, slightly off the beaten track.

Farrands is tucked away on a quite quiet street in town, so we had walked past a lot and never tried it out after living nearby for almost a year. It won us over and is now one of my favourites ! Staff are excellent, really friendly and knowledgeable. Mel always makes it a nice experience for us. Complementary crisps make it feel a bit posh, cocktail list is good, drinks are strong, and they’ll make anything you ask for ! It’s small so it has an exclusive feel, and the playlist is absolutely great it’s perfect vibes for a few cocktails on a weekend, not rowdy or noisy. 🍸🖤

Farrands was a great place to enjoy a drink or two with family and friends after a lovely dinner. The atmosphere and music were great too, as were the ever smiling staff who were attentive throughout. We'll be going back and thoroughly recommend this place.

Hands down one of the best coffee's I've ever had. Found it totally by accident, trying to dash out of the weather and pleasantly surprised. Great little cosy bar with a great selection, amazing service and drinks to match. 100% coming back!

Possibly the best bar in Leeds! I went to Farrands for some drinks last week and had a great time. The service was absolutely top notch - the staff were all so friendly and attentive. The menu has an excellent variety of signature cocktails - I tried the Carmel and the Funk and both blew me away, along with possibly the best Old Fashioned I’ve ever tried. The free crisps were a bonus too! I’ll definitely be returning to Farrands next time I’m back in Leeds.

My housemate and I had such a wonderful time at Farrands! Not only was the service excellent, attentive and friendly, but the drinks were superb! Explanations behind all cocktails and their creation, how best to enjoy them, even recommendations when we weren't sure what to get next! I stopped by this bar on the way to the train station. I was made to feel very welcomed and the service was just so friendly and second to none. Everything we had was delicious and would highly recommend this beautiful bar. I loved the pisco sour!

Felt robbed - not good Asked for a bottle of wine - waitress came back and said it wasn’t available and suggested an alternate which i accepted. When the bill came alternate was £20 more expensive. Think this is just grubby service. Won’t be coming again.

This was my favourite find in Leeds and is highly recommended. An independent bar, with excellent service by knowledgeable friendly staff. The drinks are well made and well presented. We had the sharing meat and cheese board which was absolutely delicious. You should take time to seek out this wonderful bar, I certainly will next time I am in Leeds. Excellent!

Nice place with good cocktails. Only let down by some of the punters, who looked like they should be drinking cheap beer in a 'spoons somewhere (why don't people make the effort when they go out to a nice place?!?). The staff were very professional, friendly, and competent - they really make the place I think, and are the main reason we'll be going back

Quiet, but nice place for a short drink. Good choice of cocktails but Stearns towards sweet fruity and sour. Spirit choice good with nice selection of single malts. It's the service that makes this place, very looked after.

I booked this for 6 colleagues to have drinks after work ie a low key, casual and civilised couple of hours.. this bar was perfect and everyone commented what a great find it was. Very smart, lovely ambience, wonderful warm welcome and perfect service. Will look forward to visiting again to experience cocktails and the open terrace on a sunny evening!

So happy we stumbled across this place! The waitress who served us was so lovely and attentive, immediately brought us over a carafe of water and a little bowl of crisps before taking our order. We ordered two cocktails which came really quickly and were both so delicious! The attention to detail was unmatched, would absolutely come back here again.

Celebrated a friends birthday there this weekend with a bottle of fizz and a sharing platter. Such great service, very friendly, food was excellent and such a lovely venue. Their indoors/outdoors terrace was really cool, like eating indoors, but with the roof open. Ill definitely be back 😊 x

First visit to this very stylish bar and it certainly won’t be our last. Amy the bar manager and all the staff were very friendly, and very helpful and knowledgeable about the drinks and food. The drinks were great, the food was delicious and the service was excellent!

It was my husband's birthday, we pre booked the outside terrace, open roof and heaters to keep us warm as the night crept in, with it's own ambience, and lovely, warm and attentive staff. We will look forward to visiting again. Thank you to Rob and the mixologist Amy for taking their time to chat and find out which of their fabulous selection of cocktails suited our tastes .

We popped in for a night cap on the way back to our Hotel. The doorman informed us the bar would be closing in 25mins. Even though closing time was close, we were made to feel very welcome. The cocktails were very well made. Unfortunately my wife chose something that wasn’t to her taste (our fault). Unprompted the bar manager noticed this and immediately offered to swap the cocktail for something else, without charging us for our mistake. The replacement cocktail was great as was my choice. So refreshing to receive such great service, particularly given how tough times are for the hospitality industry. Farrands deserves, a loyal following for such outstanding service and high quality drinks.

Absolutely class bar with delicious and innovative cocktails and impeccable service. The ambience is 11/10 and the venue is truly beautiful. Can’t wait to visit again with my dog after finding out this bar is dog friendly!

Called in to Farrands for a drink and staff were so welcoming and knowledgeable and the vibe was so relaxing and stylish that we returned a 2nd time. Good selection of well-priced cocktails and interesting wine. Lovely glasses which make a difference particularly to still and sparkling wine. Great coffee and we enjoyed the complimentary crisps! All in all, a lovely customer experience. We were made to feel like valued customers and would highly recommend Farrands.

Perfect bar in Leeds city centre located just outside the hustle and bustle. Jerome was an excellent host who offered us a warm welcome. Cocktails were second to none, and the mixologist obviously had so much passion in how she created them

A wonderful little bar tucked away on Swinegate with a cosy relaxed atmosphere and laid back ethos. Staff are lovely and friendly, cocktails are delicious. Highly recommend. We attended a whisky tasting last night there and it was fabulous.

Always come here for a drink if we’re in Leeds. Originally stumbled across it with my friend when walking to the station and ended up staying in there all day on a rainy Saturday afternoon drinking red wine! The perfect day! Since brought more friends and my Husband who all love as much as me. If you like a nice relaxed cosy atmosphere with great cocktails, table service and lovely friendly knowledgable staff, Farrands is where it’s at!

Farrands is now without a doubt one of my favourite bars in Leeds! I booked the whole bar for my birthday; Amy and her team were absolutely fantastic, catering to all of our needs. The cocktail menu is great and the venue itself is so beautiful.

We had a Company event in Leeds and arranged for all who attended to join us for drinks at Farrands Bar; we had the bar just for us for 2 hours, which was great. The staff were also great, really pleasant and helpful. They checked that the bar bill was acceptable on several occasions (we had a 'free' bar arrangement for our guests) which was really appreciated. The bar is lovely, the atmosphere really welcoming and comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend for drinks on an evening out or for a private functions. Amazing bar! Great selection of both cocktails and wine. The attention to detail in the cocktails makes this place stand out, I personally find the majority of cocktails these days are overly sweet, however this place has a great selection of high quality cocktails to suit all tastes. The wine selection is great with both classic and new world wines. Thank you to the staff for their attention to detail. I shall be back!
