Gorgeous food! Not our first visit and definitely not our last! Have eaten from the specials board and from the main menu, everything delicious! Plus it is dog friendly which is perfect for us.

“A royal disaster at the Kings Arms! Took the family out for what we hoped would be a hearty meal and instead got… well, a small sample size of a dinner! The much-anticipated muntjac main came out and looked more like an appetizer, served with all the grandeur of a bite-sized snack. When we politely asked the waitress if this was actually the main course, she snapped back with a cheery ‘Well, maybe you should eat before you come next time!’ Ah, the charm. Things only got weirder when the owner marched over, raised an eyebrow at us like we were some sort of Yelp/TripAdvisor/Google Review mafia, and kindly informed us, ‘You’d better not even think about leaving a review.’ Well, here we are, honoring her request… sort of. So, if you’re into dining experiences where you leave hungrier than you arrived and enjoy being mildly threatened, the Kings Arms is your kind of place!”

Nice place for a quick snack and a hot or cold drink. The staff were very polite and gave excellent service.

It's a shame to see a place go to the dogs been in today and this place should be closed the kids eats it can't behave loud and unbeatable one pub of my list the beer is below average anyone can go behind the bar really it's a pub get it sorted or close

A drinkers pub, no food, good prices for the customers

On arrival the pub was empty (1pm) Sunday lunch, no warm welcome. We ordered our Sunday lunch which came very quickly I suspect pre plated like warm food and jug of nuclear hot gravy. Small portion minimal veg and no mash as advertised. We asked for a side of stuffing but they had none, we got 2 carrots and 2 roast potatoes on the plate, then 10 min later we got a bowl of boiled cabbage and more boiled carrots. Very basic food we didn’t stay for pudding.

First time I visited this lovely pub. The food was beautiful . The choice of drinks was good.The staff was very welcoming. I will be going back.Prices reasonable.

Nice little treat of a fresh milkshake.

Came to emsworth for the day on bank holiday, struggled to find somewhere to eat and came across the ship inn. Ordered no problem and food was great and well priced. I must say the cottage pie was brilliant, just like mummy used to make! Everyone left happy!

Misleading pricing dish of the day , very small lettering telling you that you have to have the app. to get the reduced price

Please change your takeaway coffee lids!!! These are the ultimate “style over function” lids ever. Look great until you attempt to have a sip and it becomes grim + try to walk while holding and not get soaked in coffee. Been meaning to tell you guys for a while. Will have to stop buying coffee here soon! Otherwise all nice 👍

A real gem. Pub restaurant was beautifully clean with decor to match. From the moment our party of 4 arrived the staff were attentive and left nothing to chance. Service impeccable, portion sizes excellent and food delicious. All very reasonably priced. Will definitely be visiting again.

We (my band, The Retro Rock’its) played at this wonderful venue. Really great staff!
