I was there in warm Monday afternoon few people around, drank a good beer

Barman super friendly but the state of the pub. Deffo a weekend place with bands on etc. Toilets were like a swamp. Being an old get might make me too judgemental. Didn't have grub.😁

Food is alot better than it used to be

I'm very disappointed to go there the music man is very nasty and moody grumpy face. and Unpleasant music its a zero service I never go back to there

Went on a night out multiple times there. Staff are great, bouncers are brilliant. Could have a conversation with them all night tbf but I let them do their thing.

Good simple food at reasonable prices.

Great for drinks and dancing on a night out, but the ladies' bathrooms need to be checked and cleaned more frequently by the staff! Drinks prices are competitive, and the music is great for dancing to with friends.

Like eating here when visiting Redcar, how ever the tables are always dirty so have to ask for a clean which staff are happy to do, the females loos are not good at all, freezing and not great.

Was a bit hit n miss been ere twice now stairs to the toilet in a late licences bar ain't good

Watery gravy, gloopy mash,anemic roast potatoes with some flavouing that was awful,very pale roast beef, vegetables coated in a watery cream sauce, whole meal was awful

Had Sunday lunch here today. Very good value for money with x2 mains for £14 and starters only £3.99 each. I had prawn cocktail and it came with plenty of prawns too. Melt in the mouth topside beef done very nicely indeed and on the rare side. Plenty of veg to go with it. Friendly staff, and pleasant atmosphere. Toilets clean but very much in need of some tlc - loose seat and graffiti scratched into the cubicle walls. Would definitely go back in preference to the 'Spoons opposite which it is clearly trying to emulate.

I've had food many time in Marthas ,food has always been good, First time ive put a review, unfortunately today I wouldn't give it 1 star. My wife ordered Omlette with chips and beans, the omelette was burnt to a crisp, baked beans cold and chips not the best. I ordered spaghetti bolognaise, mostly spaghetti no meat!! Bar area tops and tables dirty, staff swearing and complaining. I won't be visiting again.

Lovely parmo with an ice cold lager, perfect.

19th Nov 22 Blonde bar staff with long hair complaining about her 'long' 4 hour shift :') she was serving customers just arriving at the bar and ignoring those waiting for a long time to then rant about how long she's been here instead of resolving when mentioned to her. laughing and telling all of the other staff to refuse service because I mentioned I had been waiting a while and hadn't been served. Someone tell her she doesn't own the bar and gets paid by the hour to serve me ma drink ye. Odd behaviour lol, friends and boyfriend managed to get drinks in but still is weird and nasty so pipe down a bit sweetie. The manager on duty was lovely and happy to help, thanks.

Great Sunday roast deal - two main adult meals for £14/14.99 . We got a kids meal (which comes with a fruit shoot), 2 main Sunday roasts, pint of Carling and pint of diet coke for around £23. Really affordable Sunday lunch out

Been coming for a year an a half now, we were absolutely loving the food until a few months ago when it started going down hill. 2 sunday dinners for now £14 with not even enough for 1 person. Veg not cooked properly and everything very bland in taste. Will be finding somewhere else from now on

My wife and I had sunday lunch prawn cocktail for starter followed by beef dinner food and staff absolutely great made to feel very welcome Thank you

The worst side salad I have ever seen in my life! Very tiny portion. Brown leaves. Yellow cucumber. Brown slices of dried up bits of onion. To be honest this has put me off eating here. I was so hungry. The jacket potato skin was actually full of dried gritty-on-the-teeth mud or sand? Chilli filling wasn't great, dry and uninteresting. A disappointing meal out. J-P has proved to be so quick to condemn other pub food, yet Martha's today was really not good quality at all. All I can say is that the pub opposite serves large side salads which are consistently fresh, crisp, delicious and healthy.

Good food, quick service been a few time and always good.

+ food was really nice (best local parmo) + Staff had smiles on there faces look liked enjoying the job + Parking right outside (2h free) + Reasonably priced ------------ - tables are old and worn the resin coat is now coming through making the table top sticky and dirty feeling also the tables are oddly placed with massive empty gaps of space (the table next to you is around 3 table lengths away back like in lockdown) leaving it feeling empty when it's full. - alot of young Adults shouting and drinking alcohol with young children with them too! - felt like a night club/kitchen instead of a bar/kitchen

I have previously left a review for this place , and after my visit with my girlfriend on Saturday i thought i needed to write again. Firstly the staff are so so helpful and hardworking with a smile on their face , shows the management look after them to be so happy in their work , i am always saddened when a pub only has Strongbow cider on draught as it is the most putrid cider ever - however the bar man heard me talking to the bar lady and suggested a Carling Dark Fruits Cider - Superb - thanks for that you top man. I ordered a Breakfast as that is what i enjoyed last time and my girlfriend opted for the Chicken and Ham Pie with Chips and Peas , now that as this is a true review i have to say the sausages were not as good as last time - however that is my only quibble as the rest of the brekkie was superb - and heaven knows where you get the Black Pudding from as that is the best i have ever tasted and ive had brekkies many many places. My girlfriends Chicken and Ham Pie was stuffed to the top of gorgeous food , the chips were lovely and brown like my mam used to make - proper home made (not like the other rubbish you get at a large chain pub - i will not say the name lol ) . I would still give this place 10 out of 10 , there have been complaints about dirty tables - this was not the case when we came , in fact the young lad was going round cleaning all the tables and making sure everyone had enjoyed their meals - however at busier times if a group of people had spilt some drinks it may take a little time to get it cleaned - however just go to the bar and ask someone rather than complain its as easy as that. Worst lazanya ever ( if you can call it that) it was a tone if awful cheese no mince no bechelmel just thick over cooked pasta and a little bit if dry tomato puree. Asked waitor to come have a look and he took it straight away, manager came back out and offerd full money back and agreed it was not acceptable and apologised so good service and would emagen it will have improved now as he said cheff had had a telling off 😉

Came here recently , i had promised my friend who has learning difficulties that once the lockdown was finished i would meet him in Redcar as that is where he lives to have a Breakfast and a catch up with him , we were recommended this place by the Livery Pub where i used to go for an all day brekkie. The service was excellent a young gentleman served us , very professional and food was bought by who i believe to be the manager - also superbly professional , quality of the breakfast was superb everything hot (unlike Wetherspoons) plenty of food - took me ages to eat it and absolutely delicious - we will be back , and an excellent price £5.99 s of August 2020 , and a pint of Carling Cider £1.99. Brilliant Place - a pleasant surprise to find food of this quality for such a reasonable price. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND THANKS FOR A SUPERB ALL DAY BREAKFAST.

Disappointing today as there was no mash and it was only 12pm they don't start serving food until 11 so why no mash🤔

Strongbow is 9p more than it is in the weatherspoons opposite, however it's a much calmer atmosphere here Men's toilets smell a little and it makes them feel dirty

Filthy, disgusting DUMP of a place. Outside seating is a JOKE! Tables are NOT cleaned down,they are sticky, dirty and stained, totally unacceptable, especially during this period of Covid 19. People move the chairs, ignoring safe distancing. The tables are not even cleared away by staff, who DO come out, once in a blue moon, but only to remove glasses, it seems, leaving everything else? Why? The ground is littered in red paper serviettes, sauce sachets, even bottles, dozens of cigarette ends, cigarette packets, all blowing around in the Redcar wind. Revolting! But the staff just don't bother. It's unbelievable. I couldn't believe what I was sitting in! I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I remember this used to be a good place to come to, but it's turning into a doss-house for the local loud drunks, same as so many other Redcar High St pubs. What a disappointment. It made me feel so dirty. Yuk!

Went to this place Friday at around 230pm with my kids for a meal and drink we ordered burger and chips and kids wanted spaghetti bolognais they actually tasted the way they looked chips burnt still had skin on them cold the peas were cold the burger was cold very thin and the bread bun was stale the onions in the bolognais were hard they hadn't been cooked. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR ANYONE. Tables had never been cleaned my arms actually stuck to the table disgusted with the whole place

Took mam for Sunday lunch we had a two course roast beef and Yorkshire pudding really tasty cauliflower cheese and vegetables yummy followed by sticky toffee and ice cream and strawberry cheesecake and pouring cream delicious and presented to a very high standard. Service is excellent and the food is outstanding. Great value meals on Monday to wednesday from 5 till 7, meals are £2.50 so never expected them to be of great quality and extremely filling. Will definitely return.

This pub is great for meals and great value drinks mon to wed meals from just £1 and large portions of fresh food child friendly good live bands fri nights a great place to enjoy for everyone

A nice hidden gem in Redcar. We were looking for a cheap no thrills bar meal, and Martha's Vineyard ticked the box. Meal for three and puddings plus three drinks, all for under £20. You can't do better than that, food was hot and tasty. The bar staff are friendly and helpful. I can highly recommend this establishment.

Great if you're after cheap lager and cocktails - but don't get their Goose IPA as it's gone off or something
