I can honestly say my family have never had such a warm welcome by a restaurant ever! Absolutely fantastic staff, clean and well kept and well planned seating area, 1st class food that's well portioned and for a very good price! Wish you were closer to home as we would use you all the time

came here today and definitely won’t be returning, the staff where miserable 2 young girls where moody as , one girl has a hand full of fish in her hand dripping fish juice all over no gloves on apron or hair out the way didn’t see her wash hands once touching other stuff with fishy hands , we orderd a kids meal box and came on a little tray not a box , chips where awful shot most of them away , the place it’s self was dirty tables were dirty like it had just been left , i get at busy times it can be hard but one girl was just stood doing nothing -0 on food -0 on the staff don’t recommend at all

Fish pattie was dry and hard an didnt have a lot of batter protceting the fish. Mushy peas were totally bland. Very disappointed

Offered me a job after having a successful trial to then be ignored and blocked on everything after asking for shifts ... The Public don't know what goes on in that backroom behind closed doors with all the food 🤮🤮🤮 After what I was told to do I really wouldn't advise eating anything inside that place

batter on fish was a bit overdone so it was hard, same as the chips but the foot long sausage was spot on

Went here today and where the only people in the restaurant. One member of staff looked like she was wearing dirty pyjamas. The other girl was really nice and friendly. The food took ages to cook and when it came out it was dry and chewy. Didn't get a lot of chips either and they were mostly dry, hard or chewy. Would not recommend this place.

The food was cold and the sausage was rock hard

The staff handled all the food, including meat and fish with their bare hands and the food took a very long time to be ready. The atmosphere is also awful.

missing spam fritter, gravy x2 and scraps more than half the order missing meaning only one of us cant eat. contacted restaurant got told to just request a refund. Will NEVER be using pier vista again! if only there was an option for 0 stars

This was the first time we've been there. We had fish and chips. Which were better than we've had for a while. It was a cold day. But the food was really hot.

All the food was over. Cook even the chips for a £27 order and everything to be over cooked disappeared never agen

Food was atrocious dry, overcooked and chewy. Curry sauce lumpy and watery. The restaurant was dirty food and rubbish on the floor. AVOID AT ALL COST

A very warm welcome from the young lady who was working she was an absolute delight. I had fish and Chips, the batter was crisp the fish was very tasty and the chips were perfectly cooked. An added plus this is the first time I have ever been to a fish n chip shop where a food thermometer has been used to check the fish was cooked properly.

The fish was very tasty, however £8.50 for a small bit of cod and terrible burnt chips not good at all! My child had chicken nuggets and chips and would not even touch his meal.I tried one of the nuggets which was practically inedible!

We've not had a chippy tea in some time. it might be time to find a new chippy. The size of the fish is ridiculously small. And £1.50 for pea flavoured water

Visited today food was not too good fish had more batter on than anything was really disappointed that this place allows dogs into the premises which is a tiny seating area dogs jumping about getting dog hairs in others food absolutely discusting. All our food was binned spent £38 for a bite of terrible fish I won't be returning and advise anyone else to just walk by plenty of decent fish shops within a 2 minute walk from this dirty place

Not nice food which is a shame as we'd been before and it was lovely. Got fish n chips twice this time and sausage and chips for my son. We brought them home and both fish were so hard (batter) we could barely cut through them. Also tasted very oily too.

When they say dog friendly they mean it. We ordered a sausage for the dog and it was chopped up, cooled in the fridge and served separately (they also brought her a drink). The fish and chips (and spam fritter) we ordered were pretty good too and the portion size generous...

Just popped in for my lunch with my friends and her sister. Ordered 2 spam and chips and honestly. It was absolutely beautiful. Best spamfritter's I've had for a very long time. And for the price I paid I'm amazed with the quality. I would highly recommend this place and will be visiting again. The bloke behind the till was nice too!

My elderly parents bought oap specials while with two grandkids. Kids won't eat much so parents asked for empty plate for kids to put a few chips in. Staff refused this request and insisted that they had to buy two more meals if they wanted to sit in with kids. Place was quiet plenty of seats and this is disgraceful forcing people to pay for food that's going to not be eaten. Parents will never go here again and neither will I and certainly wouldn't recommend this place as that is extremely child unfriendly.

Have been to Pier Vista at Redcar on several occasions this year for pensioners fish and chips and almost fantastic and recommended to family and friends. Visited today and most disappointed as price increased and only half portion of fish. Not good! Showed girl on counter previous pictures of fish and chips but did not comment. Won’t be rushing to go back!

The best chip shop in the area by far! Consistent great tasting food, I’ll be placing an order again soon! :)

Lovely fish and chip shop close to Redcar Beacon. Had one of the best Fish and Chips I have ever had.very friendly and chatty lady behind counter. Food was brought to table served on a plate with a slice of lemon 🍋. The restaurant is Dog freindly a both our dogs enjoyed a chip or two of the generous serving. Will definitely come back.

Accidently ordered a breakfasts onine but tried messaging them on there online website and on facebook to cancel the order but had no response and it arived an hour later and it was stone cold and toast was like rubber and hard to chew.....Avoid the breakfast

Food was late and cold items missing also items we got which we never ordered won't be using this dump again very disappointed

Surprisingly early (45 mins), so I wasn't in. The instruction to knock loudly or leave in porch was not relayed to the driver. Luckily I had a short dog walk not a long one so the driver wasn't waiting long. Food very hot. Crispy better on the fish. Fresh bread bun. Scraps softening a little as sweating in a polystyrene box but ok. Would order again

For value it's excellent Id be willing to pay more IF you guys improved the quality of the sausages, those sausages you use remind me of the ones you get bagged and frozen The beans tasted like you added vinegar? I wasn't a fan at all The rest was delicious

The chips were close to over cooked and the fish was more undercooked, hot on the outside, but the fish on the inside feeling barely lukewarm to touch. The mushy peas were also just lukewarm, the portion size of the sauces and sides is very small for the price. Really fast delivery, despite the suggested on the app.

Absolutely terrible, tiny servings, poor quality. I'll never order from here again Tiny sauce servings and to add on top my curry was like water and the gravy had lumps in it 🤮 AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

AVOID AT ALL COST!!!.... the chips were scabby (portion size was also small) the gravy had lumps in it and the curry sauce was runny (my guess was mixed with the peas water) you pay £1.20 for a sauce (curry, gravy pees etc) but get no more than a shot glass worth.... The fish wasn't too bad but nothing fancy, I won't be going again. My guess was warm ups from the night before or just don't care as long a they sell. Delivered on time though 👍

Ordered our food for it to arrive almost 2 hours after we ordered. All we got was 2 sausages and 1 chips + 2 curry) costing £16. Arrived and it was lukewarm, chips were burnt and sausage was barely cooked & hard. Curry was not bad but massively overpriced for the quality and portion size. I never ever normally write reviews but today has left me no option. We will have to get something else now as this was inedible. Wouldn’t reccomend.

We had the (big) pigs in blankets, stuffing balls and chips from the Xmas menu. Why the hell not?

Unfortunately the fish was over cooked and the burgers weren't cooked right through, might be a one off but disappointed all the same.

Tried this place for the first time last week and the food was so good I thought I'd found my new favourite takeaway. Ordered again today. After an hour, I got the text to say the driver had set off. It's only a short drive but the food didn't arrive for 30 minutes. It obviously hadn't been in a hot bag, it was absolutely freezing cold, there wasn't a bit of warmth left in it. The cheese had completely congealed and was so rock hard that I couldn't prise the top off the burger, plus it looked like someone had played football with the burger, it was squashed and lumped to one side of the bun. The whole thing was just inedible and ended up in the bin. Wouldn't bother ordering again.

ridiculous amount of time taken to make a 2 item order, got the notification that they’d set off with my order just to have to wait another 20 mins for it to show up despite the restaurant being a 5 min drive away. never ordering from here again given it isn’t the first time this has happened

The pensioners special was a freshly cooked large portion with a proper wooden fork to eat it. A thick piece of fish with not much batter but I found it quite tough, the peas were a very unnatural vivid green and the chips were mostly scrappy pointy bits. For the price of £5.50 which included a hot drink it was a fair deal. The lady serving was obliging and pleasant.

Very welcoming staff, even let us sit inside with our dogs, dogs got an unexpected treat of a bit of a battered sausage too, so dogs liked it too.

Don’t know what happened usually very good but the Parmesan was like rubber. It was a mess all over the place.

Lovely thick cod fillets, good range on the menu and freshly cooked.

The kids parmo is smaller than one chip and they give u rabbit food on side with smelly garlic

Great food garlic sauce is nice and the Parmos are tasty

Food was hot and good quality also well packaged will buy again from them.
