Absolutely cracking chippy supplying the villages and caravan parks around Saltfleet with a huge variety of great tasting food. It's all cooked to order so it's always hot , fresh and delicious. The owner was very bright and chatty and we had a good conversation even though she was busy. Their batter is light and crispy so my battered burger and sausage were still tender and juicy inside. The chips were crispy and golden but not dry in the slightest and still full of fluffy potato. The curry sauce I had was the traditional although Chinese is available and it was yummy over my chips and scraps. All of my order was perfectly wrapped and I thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Thank you very much it's great not to have to travel miles for a great chippy and i will definitely be back to try everything.

Visited the new restaurant scoops today and was looking forward to a lovely treat. First off the welcome by the gentleman who served us can only be described as he wasn’t bothered about us being there. I ordered a Nutella crepe, on arrival it was placed in a triangle cardboard container. I can only describe it as a thick pancake. I asked the said gentleman if it came with anything as the picture I saw had cream and strawberries. He was quite abrupt in saying well what did you think it came with? And stated they were add ons . The cost of the dessert was £3.79 and on leaving I checked the menu and it should have come with whipped cream. Quite honestly it felt like an inconvenience to him that we were there. I shall not be returning.

Fantastic local pub with great selection of beers on tap and super friendly landlord. Sunny seats outside for watching the world go by. Highly recommended.

Foods wonderfull, but the waitress I had needs to learn some basic manners. Telling a customer to sit instead of asking..

Lovely little fish and chip shop. Well cooked fish and chips and good sized portions. Reasonably priced , friendly staff. Great to eat looking out to sea.

Nice bar food especially the wings. Kids food was also decent.

So disappointed. Booked in for 1pm Carvery was 12-2. Went with 23 others. Booked well in advance so we'll aware of our party size. Poor choice. Poor communication. Poor customer service. Poor staff qualities very dismissive of needs. Contact the hotel and basically get accused of lying. Offer 25% off a family of 4 as a ""good will"" gesture wanting us to spend £60 in order to get £20 off. I wouldn't send the dog there for lunch.

Really enjoyed my food. Was really tasty sea bass dish with couscous cous and other meals were nice as well. However, at £50 a head you have to ask was it worth it and the answer is no. There was also a £3 surcharge for a cheese dessert which is a bit cheeky. The main issue I had was with the service. There was no atmosphere in the restaurant as such until it got busier and our table was up near where they all stand as people come in. Just felt we were being watched the whole time and then just as we finished our courses someone was in your face taking the plate away. This is great service it’s fast service. Not what I want when I’m out for a meal. We did enjoy the bar afterwards as well so rates 4 as whole experience was good, but some serious issues to tackle which would prevent me returning.

Popped in after a 7 mile walk up river Ericht and was hungry! I had the venison stew and it was tremendous and a generous portion. Judith had roast beef and that was excellent too. We loved the ‘proper’ vegetables as well. Staff were friendly a service was good.

Been here before but was closed ,due to staff issues, so we tried it again. Place was busy, 12:15. Placed order for 2 ( omellete & toastie sandwich) 12:20, food served at 1:15. Table next door waited longer and had to gulp it down as they had a train to catch. They too had toasties. Food, when it came, was good but again had next doors order mixed with ours. No worries as we are pensioners and used to it. Service was good apart from plate mix up. Must try harder!

We visited Bowland Fell Caravan Park and called in here a couples of times for food and drink. First time was on Mother’s Day, hardly any people in but they only had toasties and desserts to offer. 2nd time they didn’t have gravy. Management need to up their game. Food we did have was fine and Staff were lovely.

El ambiente es cálido y acogedor y los miembros del personal siempre tienen una sonrisa en sus caras. Las porciones son generosas para que nunca te vayas con hambre. 'FULL ENGLISH' fue Un huevo, Una salchicha. dos tocino, frijoles y tomates enlatados junto con rodajas de baguette enmantequilladas. Yo llamaría a eso un NO MUY COMPLETO INGLÉS. El precio, sin una bebida era de £ 6. 40 . No es una buena relación calidad-precio y no un inglés completo.
