An absolute amazing gem midtown. Staff very friendly and food to die for

Visited on Mothers Day and had a fairly average roast. We didn’t find it amazing like others have stated. The staff were nice. £5.90 for a pint of coke seemed a bit steep!

Fantastic Italian restaurant! Delicious pasta and delicious pizzas - flavors straight from Italy. The service was very nice and professional. We will definitely come back!

Popped in following a walk around the riverside, and so pleased I did. This place is a little gem, with lovely food, good coffee, and a friendly team. I had an Americano and the caramelised onion, walnut, and feta pancake - delicious! I'd highly recommend giving this place a try.

Theatre Soar is a multi purpose community amenity in the centre of Merthyr Tydfil. We called in for a coffee and a chat. It has a real friendly atmosphere and the staff are attentive and professional. In the past I've been there for meetings, conferences and lectures. I Would recommend the Theatre Soar

We had a truly wonderful stay here with the tasting menu and wine flight. The spicing of the food was incredibly subtle and absolutely exquisite. The staff were very attentive throughout our stay. Our room was spacious and very comfortable.

The fish was delicious, I would have preferred golden coloured chips but that's just me. It was very popular and plenty of people queuing.We will go again for definite.

This is a super little licenced restaurant that's deserving of the praise being heaped upon it. It has a very well presented dining area, albeit slightly dim lighting. We were attended to by efficient staff that know what they are doing. To keep this review unusually brief, the food and sides were to our tastes and neither the wife nor I could find fault with anything. What was surprising is that we had a great evening for a lot less than I was expecting. Two months later we returned, the experience and the food was even better than the first time. The sheekh kebab was one of the best in a very long time, the chicken in both our meals was excellent, even the skin on fries were a class above most. The service was spot on. I genuinely couldn't find room for improvement. Nearly 12 months on from my first review and and all is still very good. It was very busy but the service didn't suffet. There was also a party of 10 booked in which seemed to push everyone to the back of the restaurant and was therefore a little 'cosy'. The sheekh kebab wasn't quite as good as the first time but still not bad. Very popular so obviously pleasing most of the people most of the time.

I will not recommend due to low hygiene rating

Love this place. Great burgers and milkshakes. Just be warned they can be popular and run out of food.
