The Pear Orchard in North Somerset

Was visiting family and was delighted when they took us here, really lovely settings from what I could see plenty to keep the kid's happy with all the different animals. And a big shout out to the food simply delicious. Will definitely be paying a visit again next time we visit the family. Only little negative is the drive round to the parking is is a bit ropey nothing some gravel can't sort out but didn't affect my overall experience 😀👍

Beautiful place, and the food is made with love. I don’t eat red meat very much but knowing that it was locally sourced and prepared with respect meant it was the best burger I think I’ve ever eaten.

Another great visit to the Pear Orchard, who couldn’t have been more accommodating to our family group of 16! Food is amazing, cocktails also great & the fact the kids could feed the animals was a definite bonus. My chicken burger was delicious & mum said it was the best cheese burger she’s ever had. Would 100% recommend.

We arrived with my whole family today. The burger was absolutely divine, and possibly the best burger I've ever eaten. The flavours and tenderness from the burger pattie was unreal. Gorgeous seasoned chips and beautifully seasoned fries. The staff were lovely too!!! Lots of friendly farm animals to say hi to. And the beautiful country music was just spot on..the atmosphere was perfect for a sunday afternoon. One the best places I can honestly say I've been too and a wonderful way to end the summer. Thank you so much.. cheers

Amaising place between Cleavdon and Weston-super-Mare out in the sticks. The best burger I have ever had. Great place to take kids. Dogs are welcome. Pick a warm day and you won't be disappointed.

Wow! This place is amazing I’m cross with myself that we haven’t visited sooner after living in the area for some years. It’s a delightful place that serves a selection of burgers 🍔 beef, chicken and halloumi , with fries and various sides to choose from. Hot drinks , soft drinks and alcoholic beverages were also available. The staff were very friendly making it a very lovely place to chill out and have some food. We will be returning again for sure 👍🏻

One narrow wet unpaved path to drive in and out. Rubbish area for parking. Not impressed. Didn't stay to check out food . Came, looked, left. Very busy so must be popular !

It's hard to leave a fair review. I was really disappointed that there were no vegan / plant based options at all. All my family enjoyed their burgers / fries / gravy and said it was amazing. However, I sat with an oat latte. Lovely location, vibe and venue, toilets were clean. So much potential to do better though and offer a vegan option.

Took the best part of 30 mins to get to the front of the line to order for them to tell us they only had hallumi burgers left! Shambles, maybe tell people rather than let us queue up like idiots! This was before 1pm on bank holiday holiday Monday. Such poor planning. Epic waste of time, first time visiting, needless to say won’t be going back.

Unfortunately we didn't have the same great experience that many have shared. Turned up at only 1:10 on a bank holiday Monday and they'd ran out of all meat burgers. So ordered 3x halloumi burgers and 3x loaded fries. Clearly too many staff making the fancy milkshakes and not enough in the kitchen. Didn't get our order until 2:15! There was an apology but no indication when we ordered that it would take that long. Food tasty. Could do with someone tidying up on and under the tables regularly to avoid dogs eating too many chips etc. Would also be great if the toilets weren't portaloos.

The staff were lovely and welcoming along with the animals ( cat especially!) Food was quick, hot and yummy! Location is tucked away in the rural area which is peaceful and a real gem to find!

What an amazing place! Our whole table said "that's the best buger we've ever had!!" We can't wait to go back and even want to do a family party over there! The kids loved feeding the animals. The whole setting is so perfect and very peaceful!

Burgers are very good cheese burger is 8.50 I think but quality is high and decent size Garlic fries very good with the chicken gravy and the biscoff milkshake outstanding..

A fantastic little spot. Absolutely brill burgers and seasoned fries. Also managed to somehow fit in one of the milkshakes. All was a nice quality and good value. Staff seemed friendly. Free parking, main toilet is a portaloo. Area can be a little bit mucky, naturally. Some little animals nearby ie goats, Shetland ponies etc. Good space for kids to run around for an hour while you eat. Nice country music soundtrack playing on our visit. Would recommend checking out for something a little different.

Great family friendly place to visit, friendly animals including alpacas! To top it off, the burgers are the best in the Bristol area with locally sourced ingredients! 5 stars all round!

We came especially for the burgers, unfortunately that had run out of beef and chicken! Had the halloumi burger and to be fair it was tasty! We will be back to try the "real deal" burgers. Cute animal enclosures, great place to bring kids.

Went fishing at plantations fisheries and could smell the beautiful smell of burgers and went to check it out and found this place and I was amazed on how nice the food was the staff are very welcoming definitely a good choice to visit I will be going back very soon .

Lovely cafe with a petting corner. Free parking. There is outdoor seating and a veranda which is covered. Food is excellent and the drinks come with finishing touches.

The perfect venue, perfect food and the perfect hosts for my mums 50th birthday party. I can't thank you enough and would recommend that everyone comes to visit you - The Pear Orchard should be on everyone's list of 'Happy Places'.

Such a hidden gem and an amazing place with indoor/outdoor seating, animal pens and run by the nicest people! Menu has adults and kids options and the burgers/milkshakes are to die for!

Very disappointed. Went on mother's day with my children and my mum. Really wanted to go as am a Kingston Seymour resident and like to support local businesses. However, I can't eat beefburgers due to health reasons so asked for just bacon roll. I was told they won't do this. Although my brother had burger with bacon but wouldn't do one without a burger. I could buy it and take burger out but would still have fat from burger! Apparently rolls were only for burgers. All a bit strange so lost my custom for the sake of not giving me a simple bacon roll but still was willing to pay full price

Great time to chill in the sun , food served until sold out alcohol and soft drinks served with wicked milkshakes and lots of local ingredients. Great for smaller people loads of goats chickens small animals running around and fenced ,hand washing available,able to feed the animals for a small price shame food is in polystyrene cups (sad face 🙁) Or Great if just cycling past.

Had an amazing time at the Pear Orchard today for a family birthday get together! Gorgeous milkshakes and fabulous burgers. A lovely chilled place with great staff and a lovely laid back atmosphere! We had fun feeding the goats, chatting to the chickens and admiring the cute rabbits too! Thank you so much, we will be back!

This is a fantastic place to go, in a peaceful setting you have very good food freshly made each day, they have animals to look at and feed if you want a bar indoor seating and outdoor seating , parking and toilets disabled-friendly open Saturday's and Sunday's from 11 am

Amazing place, went with our 2 year old he loved it. The animals are such a great attraction and the service was warm and welcoming. Can't wait to go back and try out their milkshakes, they look stunning.

We were surprised to find this wonderful burger/milkshake bar in the village of Kingston Seymour. There was free parking, customer toilet, plenty of outdoor seating and undercover seating. The bar had lots of burger and frys to choose from, the meat was all supplied by local producers. The milkshake drinks were brilliant with lots of flavours to choose from. They also served hot drinks and alcohol. The bar is only opened weekends but we'll worth the visit. There was also the extra attraction of petting animals for the children and a place to wash hands. They ranges from turkeys to peacocks, bunnies to goats. We will definitely visit again and also recommend others to visit too. There is disabled access, free parking, dog friendly(no water bowls so remember to take your own on a hot day) , children friendly, family friendly all weather attraction.

The garlic chicken is amazing as well. It's all amazing! They offer a large selection of milk shakes for the children that come with a special treat. ​ A small family run business with great staff that make you feel so welcome. A must try!!!

This place is great. Love the food and drinks (they are doing yummy cocktails now they are opening some evenings!) and fantastic atmosphere. Get there early on a sunny weekend!

What an amazing place. Great milkshakes - with doughnuts on top! Only open at weekends (at the moment) and was packed on a sunny Saturday of a bank holiday weekend.

We tried the halloumi burger and the cheeseburger both were delicious and great value. Would definitely visit again.
