Lovely swift service from Grace, and the cowboy burger properly hit the spot.

It's cheap and cheerful but has a good selection of vegan dishes. Bit of a 60s pub feel but doesn't matter. Always good value deals on.

Stayed there last night as we had attended a wake there earlier in the day. Staff were very friendly and incredibly helpful. Had a nice light evening meal in the bar area restaurant, Rooms were nice and very clean and comfortable. Only downside was the springy floorboards, you can hear people walking back and forth in the room above, luckily I had earplugs which . Breakfast was also good value.

Fantastic fresh food and great service. There were 13 of us and we all enjoyed our meals, no complaints at all. Very accommodating staff. Reasonable prices. We were all very happy and will definitely return. Thank you.

Husband and I went for Sunday carvery. We precooked a table but believe we were seated at just an open table as the one that should have been ours had not been cleaned after prior use. No worries, it was just a table. We had said never been there before and asked what we do. Server said I will get your drinks, took the order and left us. After 15 minutes waiting for a pot of tea and soft drink, and server going past our table several times, we decided to go up to carvery as that was only option available for food that day. Stood in line and when got to carvery area the carver stuck out his hand and looked at me. I asked what I was to give him and he waved me toward the server area where our server was standing. I went over, passing the bar where our tea and soda was sitting waiting to be delivered. Asked about the carvery and he said, oh you need a ticket. Turned to computer and said.. how many? Really???? Got two tickets , went back to the line and got our food. We both got beef which was quite dry and lukewarm, as were the rest of the items. However, the gravy was very good and very hot so it saved the meal. Shortly after sitting down again the server showed up with drinks and asked if we needed anything. That was the last we saw him until we went back to server station to track him down to pay. By the way, it was no surprise that the tea water was cold. Needless to say, we won’t go back. Shame because there were some things on menu thought would be good to try during week.

Staff look like they don't know what they are doing. We ordered a pitcher and the boy gave me the jar without the glasses. I had to go again to the bar to ask for them.

Mothers day was made so much easier for it was the first time without my mother 👩

A fantastic spot with delicious food served quickly, beautiful decor, and great music. We loved the thoughtful touch of having books and crayons for kids. The watermelon iced tea was amazing, and the Buddha bowl was the best I’ve had in a long time. Burgers are in the top 5 in Bristol. We’ll be visiting often — easily the best place in South Bristol!

Food good however drinks pricey.

We went for tea tonight with our son. Drinks order given at the bar and brought over to our table. All of the food was delicious. They were busy so there was a little wait but staff kept us posted so we didn’t feel forgotten and our so sons garlic bread came out quick which kept him going. Able to try a drop of the red wine before deciding which one 👍 all of the staff were friendly and attentive and great to see Lewis doing what he does best. Fab night 😁

We stayed here as it was near relatives and we had an enjoyable visit. Staff were amazing with us all and breakfast was great with a selection of continental and fresh cooked options. Many thanks to Bradley for assisting my father with our dinner reservation.

A wee bit rowdy but to be expected on the weekend. Food was absolutely amazing I'm still thinking about the burger I had 😂 our server was an older gentleman and just absolutely lovely, he couldn't do enough for us, will defo be back

A very beautiful restaurant, with excellent cuisine and a well-thought-out interior. I really like how they cook here and in general, relaxing here.
