Just popped in for a meet up drink before heading elsewhere. Wasn't that impressed. The non-alcoholic range was limited (no Guinness zero or Thatchers zero and no alternatives). The atmosphere was OK as it was reasonably busy.

Could of done with some ear plugs. Prefer the one in Bristol centre

Called up this places and asked if they had any jobs on offer, the person at the other end of the phone hung up on me as soon as i asked 🤦🏾‍♂️

Excellent place to eat weather I've gone gone with friends or with the family. Food has never let us down, the staff has always been helpful polite and quick to give information. (Wait for table, food not available) will always consider eating here

Great place in central Keynsham. I particularly like a Sunday brunch. I love that they raise money for a local charity too!

£30 for salmon and eggs x 2 and two Lattes. Ordered an extra egg, never came with the original order. Out of 5 poached eggs they were all rock hard! Told the lad serving me, he said I’ll tell the chef?! Offered no discount or even an apology. Should of stayed at home and cooked my own 😂

Fabulous service only drawback was it was quite noisy. Lovely that dogs are allowed and there were books if you wanted to mooch.

Came in for coffee and breakfast but didn't end up getting food due to the establishments greed. To have avocado on toast with gluten free bread they won't substitute the bread, they make you pay extra for it so avocado on toast would have been £12.50. I asked about having some other breakfasts but the same for all of them. Wouldn't swap falafel (can't eat for health reasons again) for avocado because they said it's more expensive. That would have cost me £14. Never encountered such a stingy place. Don't recommend.

We came for their Tuesday tapas deal. The food was delicious and it was great to be able to get all day brunch, Eggs Benedict for dinner was a game changer! Even after that and 2 rounds of tapas we were tempted to get a third round (we gave in!), and the food obviously did not disappoint! The staff were friendly, would definitely come again!

A decent range of beers and ciders (£6ish per pint). Food menu has a range of options and caters for kids.

Sunday morning popped in for large breakfast, food and service was great, we frequently visit the Bonzo lounge to meet up with family. Nice place to go. UPDATE I have been back several times now, they have a great gluten free menu and are well clued up on it. Highly recommend 👌 👍

Sat outside with my 3 lovely ladies and enjoyed myself.

I had the bang bang chicken, I was worried it might be spicy so I asked a member of staff, she replied she was the same it's not hot at all. They do sprinkle chillies on top so asked for them to be removed to be sure. I'm glad I ordered this because it was so tasty and flavourful and not spicy. Definitely recommend it

Not really sure why I'm reviewing this place again with the same comment. I've done it two or three tines before and nothing has been done! The same old reply will undoubtedly be cut and pasted to this. Why, oh why, do we have to subjected to the sight of waiting staff's belly buttons!!!! It's a real turn off for me but, as I said above, nothing will be done. I don't think I will be going back again Oh yes, our food was nice!

Just walk in and grab a seat. Place mats are menus. Scan the QR code to order and pay. Food comes in good time and as ordered. One server had a crop top on with exposed midriff and belly button. This may put some off but it was fluff free so couldn't see issues from my perspective. The decor is post industrial and therefore very sounds empty and echos. But overall a nice relaxed experience. One should note, if you have allergies you need to order in person at the counter informing staff of your allergies.

Went in with friends for a few beers. Great atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely asset for the local area.

Not up to it's usual standard. Come here quite often and this was the worst visit. Ordered a hot chocolate. The one they brought tasted like coffee, as if they'd used the same spoon. Took it back, they brought another - it was stone cold. Took that one back, they brought another which was BOILING hot, clearly taking the pi$$. That one barely tasted of chocolate, was pretty much hot milk. Didn't feel like I could take that one back, they'd made it quite clear what they thought. Food came, 1 out of the 2 poached eggs on the Lounge Eggs was basically a hard boiled egg rather than poached. The buttermilk chicken was rock hard round the edges and inedible. But like I said, couldn't take it back after the hot chocolate stunt. All in all, very disappointing.

Called in for a drink bit disappointed they did not have Fanta Lemon the coffee and service was excellent

No atmosphere, food orders wrong, literally a small spoonful of coleslaw. We were amazed but didn't want to make a fuss as it was an 18th birthday. Two of us did not get our food until some had finished! No explanation and no apology.

Just arrived from the Airport. Dead tired and hungry, i got there and i found a very nice Place, cozy and comfortable, for couples, families, singles or Friends as well. Outdoor tables too. Food Is food Quick and plenty

I have dined at Bonzo Lounge in Keynsham on previous occasions and have always been pleased with the quality of the food and service. However, during my most recent visit, I ordered two salads, one of which was the Chicken, Bacon, and Avocado salad. I also requested an additional piece of chicken, bringing the total cost of my meal to £32.50. When my salads arrived, one looked visually appealing while the other appeared to be lacking in comparison. The additional chicken I had requested was simply placed on the side of the salad, resulting in a noticeable imbalance in the dish. After sharing my concerns with a member of the staff, the salad was taken back to the kitchen and returned to me with a more substantial appearance. However, upon tasting the salad, I noticed that it contained an excessive amount of rocket to compensate for the initial error. Despite the overall flavor of the meal being enjoyable, it was evident that there was a lack of attention to detail in this particular instance. I chose not to escalate my complaint further as I did not want to further disrupt my dining experience.

Had lunch at BONZO Keynsham on the weekend with friends. Ordered the Vegan Moroccan Aubergine Flatbread. It was amazing. Hubby suggested we get a take away for dinner, immediately i wanted the same as the weekend, could not eat it. It was squashed into a round container on its side, not chickpea, mint sauce or pomegranate in sight. No hummus, avocado so hard it could have taken a tooth. And to top it off it seemed to be in two parts almost as though they took half of one and put it on top of the other, when lifting it, it was just flatbread underneath! Disgusting!

we like Monday free wine after 5p.m.and Tuesday Tapas and my husband likes the beefburgers there.xx

Good venue, staff friendly, tables not cleared enough though. Children too noisy and disturbing the tranquil atmosphere.

Breakfast was good but the table was super dirty, all cutlery had food on, and I literally couldn't hear a thing. I had avocado smeared on my hashbrowns (in a dish which should not have contained avocado) so I would maybe worry for people with allergies! The staff seemed super rushed off of their feet so probably could've done with a few more staff on shift!

A late breakfast with friends and family, the food and drinks for the four of us was just under £60, not bad.

This was my first visit to Bonzo Lounge, I have visited lots of the group’s other other cafe bars. Today was my first sight of the new menu. I had the poached eggs on muffin with Hollandaise sauce, looked good, tasted fab. Service was good. Premises were clean and fresh throughout. I have no objections to well behaved dogs in the premises. However today had rather a disappointing atmosphere due to poorly behaved dogs with their frequent barking being both loud and thundering through the square room.

I thought it was very noisy and expensive. Over £16 for a fish finger sandwich, half a beer and a coffee. There were Dogs everywhere. Why can’t we have moderation. I waited for ages to be served whilst 3 staff discussed how to pour a drink. I would go again but only when they have a deal on.

Excellent tasting food, just marginally underwhelmed with the quantity, lovely atmosphere, staff friendly and efficient, but 10 minutes after sitting down and ordering via the app a member of staff stuck a reserved ticket on the table from 6 o'clock, which gave us 40 mins to receive and eat our dinner, not least it was a push, luckily for the staff we weren't having a sweet, but we were moved whilst finishing our drinks. I must reiterate that it was an excellent atmosphere with wonderfully tasty food.

It's a really good place , next to the civic carpark so it's easy to park.Nice airy building , fairly busy but coffee's and cakes were ordered via app and delivered promptly. Dog friendly so our furry one loved it and got spoiled by polite parents asking if their kids could say hello.First visit as live out of the area but will visit again and highly recommend

Went for Tapas Tuesday for the first time in a while - we think went mid 2023 last and we were regulars pre covid twice a month at least. We used to enjoy chatting to the ‘Bagman’ and also watching the monthly ‘meeting of the brave alternative folk’. Cleanliness has dropped and with so many staff it’s a surprise given you order via QR these days and so no six/seven deep queues as there used to be. Tables are left with uncollected glasses and plates for ages and indeed in the hour we were there early evening three used tables were unable to be used for new guests as they had not been cleaned. The big change and huge huge negative was the lack of bread with the Tapas. You used to get several pieces between you in order to ‘mop’ the bowls and eat the humus from. It was part and parcel of the deal that was under £10 pre Covid. We were gobsmacked that the bread is no more as we had wanted to get back in Tapas Tuesday a couple of times a month once more. Only reason I gave a two and not a one was that the Tapas was tasty and the lady who delivered it was very pleasant indeed. Just a shame half the sauces were left in the bowls as we weren’t up for finger dipping to clean them. Real shame and I hope the owners review this massive backwards step as I wonder if others have stopped going for this very reason. I would wager based on food We saw coming from the kitchen that your tapas turnover has dropped dramatically since pre-Covid times.

Came Saturday with my cousins who don't see often all in our 60s. First complaint sat us by kitchen door childrens area when there was 3 other tables we could have sat. Couldn't hear eachother talk. Ordered our food same time. One meal came out really quick within 5mins*was breakfast) mine came out 10mins after pulled beef rice dish.. half hr someone asked if our meal was OK which we replied no one of our Partt hadn't had there meal. It was poacher egg on toast with hollandaise sauce mushrooms not difficult? They did go get get it saying ticket hadn't been done. Didn't offer to remove it from bill won't be back.

Nice to see someone with some knowledge of 1960's obscure musicians album titles. The Bonzo Dog Doodah Band would be proud. Menu items should be named after track titles to make it perfect!

Always come here for the gluten free big lounge breakfast. Busy in evenings though so good to ring and check if you're booking for more than 2!

Really tasty food, should have ordered a side but it would have filled up a regular person. Lost a star for atmosphere due to how loud it was.

We visited The Bonzo Lounge for a late weekend brunch. The restaurant was completely packed with customers, many with children and had a great atmosphere. The staff were helpful and working hard to deliver food and drink to the tables. Even with the busy service all our food was brought to the table within 10 minutes. I had the Miami Brunch for the first time and it was excellent. My wife had three tapas dishes which were well cooked and most enjoyable. Great venue in Keynsham with great staff and food.

An ok dining experience, though the service wasn't quick and it is a very noisy environment so don't expect to hold in depth conversations when you eat or drink here. The food is off a high quality. Drinks can be ordered at the bar or via a QR code which takes you to the website. Ordering though this manner did seem to have a speedy response.

Always gopd service and solid food!

The food wasn't as good as previously and smaller portions than before. The cocktails were mostly ice and prices were more. It was very busy when we arrived then by 10.30pm was too quiet. Need an area where live music could be played to bring more people in after pubs close.

Arrived on a Sunday with no booking, wet and muddy with our dog. Found a table, ordered food via our phones scanning the QR code. Everything arrived promptly and was yummy. Raided the games and colouring in for the little one, happily entertained for a couple of hours. Brilliant ☺️

Anywhere you can get a full English breakfast any time of the day is great in my books. It’s just a pity that it can be very noisy, especially on quiz night when the speakers are far too loud.

A lot better since my last review, better idea waiting to be seated, saves a free for all. Wife loved the hot chocolate.

Great pub quiz on a Sunday night to go with your dinner

Great place to meet up with family & friends...all welcome including the dog! Parking close by at Ashton Way car pay. Free after 6pm. Good selection of food to choose from. Really swift service via the table app which you were able to adapt your choices. My sister requested some balsamic vinegar and, although they didn't have any in the kitchen, Ollie, our server, went out of his way to go and get some from a near by store. What a superstar ⭐️ Food was delicious too.

It used to be a great place for a family lunch nice food, great service.We have eaten here quite a few times, unfortunately the food has gone down the hill, It's dry, greasy and some flavours are confusing. It's a chain and we even had the same dishes in Weymouth recently and it was delicious there. Won't come back even though atmosphere and service was excellent.
