Chill vibe on the weekend, good place to come and do some work on my laptop. Food is fairly priced and delicious, staff have always been helpful and friendly.

The moment you walk in the door you're hit buy loads of candles burning. You can smell it in the air. It made me cough alot as I'm asthma, c.o.p.d and emphysema and on oxygen. I had to turn my oxygen off to be with my family because I'm not allowed near naked flames.. food was good. No one to take your order from your table. You order your food at the bar. Then they brought it out. Everyone enjoyed Thier meals, cost alot but we enjoyed ourselves.

Another great lounge restaurant. Good and fast service with friendly staff. Was quite busy on a Sunday but we were able to get a table for 4. Really bright and fun decor and a nice cozy feel. Chicken club ciabatta was insane !!

Very friendly and accommodating staff, Visited this afternoon with my daughter and granddaughter for a quick cuppa before the school run and were given a complimentary slice of delicious carrot cake each !!!! Wow made our day , thank you so much ❤️

Relaxed atmosphere and a good size so we’ve never struggled to get seating. A nice wide range of food and drink on the menu.

Cooking late into the evening, which was really great for us!!! Well done to Velo for having longer cooking hours than surrounding businesses. Great atmosphere and vibes. Staff were a little under trained?? But still very friendly and helpful. My expectations for the food were a bit higher, but still very good food, and excellent drinks and cocktails.

This is one of the wver- growing chains of lounges now ranging from mid Wales to ... Bath. I have been mainly to the Cardiff ones, and Fino Lounge at Whitchurch is great. BUT the chips and burgers in Velo Lounge beat them all to first place for taste and crispyness. Very very tasty. We were there on Saturday evening, but still enough space and fast service. YUM!

Quite busy but lovely service from all the staff in there despite being rushed off their feet, really good.

I had the veggie breakfast, and my bloke had the lounge breakfast both with coffee. The food arrived within 10 mins of ordering. It was piping hot and delicious. Highly recommended!. The staff are lovely and attentive .

Amazing night, great food and super friendly staff.

Part of the Lounger group, always great value. If you want a coffee/beer/meal the standards are consistently high, prices are keen and there’s always a good vibe with some crazy art on the walls. Velo Lounge is located in Oldfield park, just outside the Bath city centre, with on street parking and a few interesting shops.

Great value and brilliant service.

I usually love to eat at one of the Lounges but today I had a really bad experience. I ordered the vegetarian burrito and was given the meat one, only realising it was the wrong one after I had eaten half. This was really distressing and has made me feel sick all day as I have been a vegetarian for almost 10 years. We were given a free drink and dessert but it really turned me off visiting Lounge restaurants in the future.

i never leave reviews but ive also never been made so uncomfortable by staff in my life. I ordered an iced flat white as i’m lactose intolerant and don’t really want a pint glass of oat milk, which was meant to be £3.90. I later discovered i was charged £4.25 which is how much they charge for their enormous iced lattes which just isn’t what i ordered. when i asked about this everyone just seemed to confused?? i went downstairs only to be confronted by like 3 women, one in particular who spoke to me like i was an idiot saying they charged me more since i got more milk in my iced drink than a regular flat white. I work in a cafe, i have never once charged someone more for an iced flat white because they’re getting significantly less than any other iced drink. it was so embarrassing and i left feeling like a moron. the way it also just isn’t that deep lol like imagine beefing over 35p when you work at a chain restaurant, girl your big boss is gonna pocket that money i don’t understand why you had to be so rude about it? you’re still getting paid at the end of the day. anyways, won’t be back :p

One of my favourite pub where they do food and drinks while allowing you to work on your lab top too. I always come here for quick lunch and chill, food is brilliant, not sure about the lavatory. would recommend

Great friendly café for all ages. Unfortunately comfy chairs have been moved to the dark back . Please return the soft seats to the front area. Just sat at the window table and we could hardly squeeze in!

Had a great brunch. Restaurant has a hip eclectic vibe and friendly atmosphere. Food was very tasty. AM clientele were a mixture of home office type using the communal space and regular restaurant goers.

I haven't been here for a number of years as the food wasn't as good as it used to be. However, I was pleasantly surprised on this visit to find things have improved. A good selection on the menu, the food arrived quickly and it was delicious.

It looked a bit tired and grubby. I picked a table and waited 10 mins while 3 members of staff chatted amongst themselves. Then I left.

Fabuloso desayuno todo el día. Muy buenas porciones, y muy bien hecho. Gran servicio también. Vale la pena visitarlo. Tuve una buena elección de otras comidas en el menú también.

Love the Lounge. We visit fairly frequently for a quick coffee whilst shopping in the high street or a beer when collecting our order from the Oyster Shell. This time, we had a family meal, and everything was delicious. A bit of a mix-up on the burger was quickly rectified with no drama. So many options to choose from that genuinely, there was something for everyone. Service is always friendly and welcoming . Lots of space upstairs with table seating or more casual and busy downstairs. Can recommend the breakfasts too ! A great local spot.

Found this place the other day. Really loved it! So cosy in the evenings with the lighting. Food was great value for money - the flatbreads are to die for. Service was fab (I recommend ordering online to the table).

We ordered a Big Veggie Breakfast, as well as other things, which is £5 extra for veggie sausages, extra toast and an extra egg. However, upon its arrival we realised there were no veggie sausages, so we asked where they were , and 15 minutes later we are given 1 veggie sausage which was so over cooked it was essentially inedible. The food was pretty nice , and the waiters were very kind , but missing out a pretty essential part of the meal for it only to arrive much later and be completely over cooked was very disappointing, and not worth £15.50.

1st time, came in for a breakfast, ordered drink and food at the bar, drink and cutlery arrived quickly, both mine and partners cutlery had to be replace as they had dried on baked beans which wasn't a nice sight. The coffee wasnt too bad. Food arrived swifty after, and it looked enormous. Unfortunately we ordered white toast but we both received brown, not a problem though just abit annoyed, the eggs seemed half cooked with that clear gooey substance across the toast which really put us off. The bacon wasn't cooked enough for me either, the fat had no colour to it at all. The fried tomatoes had italian herbs sprinked over which didn't work for me in a full English might be nice with a pasta dish maybe, but not a breakfast. The mushrooms had the same treatment but were stone cold. Sausage I think were just about cooked, Lincolnshire sausage nort being my first choice for a breakfast. Hash browns were fine and baked beans were fine. Not usually keen on black pudding but I usually do eat it, except this one, yuk. Not the best service, we watched a waitress patting a dog I hope she washed her hands after! other dogs in there some barking ofte, and being walked through the tight gaps between the tables. The chairs and table being a mish mash and so not being able to pull the chairs under as they didn't fit wasn't good. The table needed a good hoovering off between the joints as they looked filled with dirt and grime. No parking. I will most definitely not be visiting this place again very disappointing experience.

Awful left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Party of 14 for a birthday breakfast. Totally understand they dont do bookings but were fully aware of the party size. The tables and chairs all over the place. Cutlery came out haphazardly and dirty. Breakfast arrived raw eggs on the toast. Cold mushrooms. Absolutely the worst breakfast I have had in age's. Not reasonably priced for what we paid. Lots of staff but plates and cups left on tables for age's. Dogs welcome, you had staff stroking the dogs,okay fair enough but then the said stuff did not washing there hands and serving food and drinks. Surely a health and safety issue. Definitely will not be coming again.

Went in for a coffee, great service well worth a visit.

Enjoyed a lovely breakfast, friendly staff would go there again

After several visits I am perplexed by the service levels. Three staff at not busy times staff walk past behind the bar without seeming to see you - kind off ‘I would serve you but I can’t see you’.Preoccupied with chatting with each other or sipping water. They must either be on heavy medication or have hangovers. I think the Velo relies too much on its interior design of retro photos and paintings which are good. Needs to offer better training to its staff.

I’ve left one star as it is the lowest allowed if I could leave 0 I would. Just went in at 10.10am Monday morning for a coffee, place very quiet. One customer being served and 2 additional more members of staff not serving behind the bar. Both completely ignored me waiting - one too busy siping a glass of water. I do not understand what the service policy is but it seems to be one person do all the work the others don’t bother ignoring waiting customers. I always thought customers came first!! I walked out disgusted at the staff’s rudeness. Obviously staff come before customers at the Velo!!!!

The Miami Breakfast was so tasty!!

Velo lounge is perfect for a daytime coffee or an evening meal and drinks. Great atmosphere although upstairs is much less appealing and we never go up there. We often go there for coffees with friends and mums and babies. There's not always much space for prams but then there never is when there's a few of you anywhere tou go. Service is great and nice to see them hiring so many, I assume, students. I am never a fan of the menu at loungers and they are all the same. The breakfasts are amazing and great value and the tapas deal is great but the main menu is very average and the sides are overpriced (the 3 cheese chips were tiny and over cooked when I had them). Request to LOUNGERS to change up the menus more often please 🙏

Absolutely appalling service, not only was the food haphazardly dumped on our table at different times with no cutlery and when I had the audacity to ask for cutlery the waitress felt it was okay to bring me children's cutlery and pretend it was a problem with the kitchen. To top it off she turned around and pulled a face at her friends sat behind us. After watching her bring piping hot food to a table of lads, I walked up to her to ask where my daughter's food was. It was met with a deep shrug and "oh well it's how it comes out of the kitchen". Strangely my child's food appeared 2 minutes later freezing cold. My son had finished his food (he didn't mind the plastic fork as he was hungry) and at that point we were disgusted and had no further appetite. Thanks Velo! Her attitude and the lack of actual service was the similar to other waitresses I spoke to. What is going on? Today was completely ruined and I've wasted my time and money by being served by an obviously overworked waitress with a stinking attitude. Please see a photo of my cutlery...absolute joke, do not recommend & will definitely not be going back!!!! Try treating your patrons with respect and not ruin their meals with your problems in the restaurant.

I've visited a few Lounges and have to say that this one was not one of the best. The table had ants crawling on it and just got the impression that it could have been cleaned a little more thoroughly. Also, the serving staff were a little abrupt and tended to bang the plates down on the table when bringing food. I did tip when I ordered, but in future I'll tip in cash after the meal.

Always enjoy a visit here. Nice selection of food and drinks. Activities for children too.

Great gluten free menu, tasty food and friendly service

On my last 2 vists, i have waited over half an hour for drinks to arrive at the table. Even after asking for our drinks, they arrived after the food.

El sabor de la comida era agradable, PERO el tamaño de las porciones era una broma. Las 2 comidas principales eran más del tamaño de una porción que esperaríamos para una comida infantil, la porción de patatas fritas era risible. Los dos nos fuimos todavía muy hambrientos, y la comida no es barata, no volveríamos con estas míseras porciones.

This is a cosy place with a vast and delicious menu to choose from. Come here all the time for coffees and dinners- even for late night study sessions!

Decided to go out for breakfast and Velo lounge was a great place to go. Food and service was great and not to busy.

First ever visit...... good experience

Went on a recommendation whilst visiting Bath - really great experience- had the Miami Brunch - eggs perfectly done, flavour great, lots of quality ingredients, pleasantly filling. Used online ordering at the table and service was fast, done with a smile - atmosphere and staff warm and friendly, hygiene also great. Made a perfect start to a days sightseeing.

Somewhat disappointed with this place. Ordered the chicken and avocado burger. The chicken was overcooked and tough to chew through. Service a bit lackluster. Atmosphere was chaotic, more like being in a nursery full of toddlers on blue sweets. Shame as the chain tend to be better than this.

Always good but today's lunch was brilliant, well presented and cooked just right. Brunch and lounge eggs. Great.

Came here on 30 May, for my mum's birthday, and we had a great night. The food was absolutely delicious, as were the cocktails, but they did run out of cocktail stuff early on, we weren't too fussy though, so just ordered a different one. Atmosphere was really cosy, warm and welcoming, and staff were absolutely lovely. I believe it was Carla who we dealt with most, she was wonderful, friendly and super helpful with best places to go and see. Maddy and Reese were also working that night and were great. (Hope I've gotten all your names correct, I quickly wrote them down on the way out!) Was within walking distance to our Airbnb, so was a no brainer to come here. My mum was happy with her tapas, and as it was her birthday that's all I can ask for. Definitely come here for a delicious meal and wonderful staff!

Good breakfast and evening food. Once again

This is a great place and would wholeheartedly recommend. They don’t take table reservations for under 6 people. It was busy when we arrived however they found us a table and were very attentive throughout the night. The app to book food at the table didn’t work but ordering at the bar was no problem. Everywhere was very clean, food superb and staff very friendly and helpful. Good value. We had a lovely night. Thanks to the staff

Nice place, nice food. The breakfasts are amazing. Recently had the noodles in coconut sauce which sounded lovely, was nice but nothing to rave about. Probably wouldn't buy again. Other food nice such as their chicken burger with avocado. Went as a family.

We visited The Velo Lounge on Moorland Road to enjoy the Tapas Tuesday special offer. We ordered three delightful tapas including the Korean prawns, hummus and the Bang Bang Fried Cauliflower. We also had the triple cheese fries. All the food was delicious and served quickly. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The three tapas cost £13.25 and you get a free glass of excellent house wine. We are regular customers of Velo Lounge and find it great value for money and always has a nice atmosphere.

I like the loungers chain in general. But the Velo Lounge is my local one. The breakfast offers something for everyone. My self and partner both had Lounger breakfast one meat and one veggie. Food always comes hot. Wash it down with an orange juice, freshly squeezed or not and a very decent cup of coffee. Perfect brunch and start to the day.

Great place to meet with friends. A cool, relaxed & ambient atmosphere. A fabulous menu that caters to all dietary needs/wants. And plenty of seating on 2 floors to choose from. Highly recommend 👌

Great atmosphere, varied menu and welcoming to all. Dogs allowed too so a bonus Breakfast could be a little hotter though Don't like beans in a ramekin unless you ask for it

Lovely, friendly and helpful staff. Lovely food which is freshly prepared and a pleasant decor and atmosphere. The chicken, bacon and avocado salad is a firm favourite.

Had a great galentines evening at Velo lounge. Ordered tapas which was delicious, would highly recommend arancini balls, cheddar and sweetcorn fritters. Wonderful service by the staff.

Friendly place , nice staff , strange decor though

Really bad experience. The member of the staff didt even tell us what time the kitchen closes. They didt take the empty glasses or starter's plates or ask ask how was the food. The staff is rubbish. We don't live here we came really far away to celebrate my partners birthday. please people save money and don't go here and read reviews as I didn't look but now on I will as this restaurants was really bad

I’ve been here a few times and it’s never been great, but on my visit yesterday evening the service was beyond terrible, really slow, even though it was quiet. The staff seemed more concerned chatting amongst themselves, or to friends hanging by the bar. They were actively rude to me and my husband when they finally acknowledged is. The drinks were really poor quality, steer clear of the beer and Prosecco. We’ve eaten here previously, but never will again, as the food was below average each time, definitely overpriced. We had hoped stayed longer on this occasion, but it was so bad we left and went to the Moorfields, which is close by and a million times better. My advice, don’t waste your money.

Waited 20 minutes for a latte and the only reason I got it was because I went to the counter and complained. Will go to another cafe in moorland road from now on. A guy after me got served before me!

After being seated for over 40 minutes I was asked to take my dog downstairs due to him being a fire hazard. We had no forewarning and there were no signs about this.

Love this place! Every time they never fail to deliver, with their tasty delicious menu with gluten free and vegan options. Great coffee, shakshuka and lounge eggs are my favourite x Will be back again soon!

All of the lounges I have visited so far, have been very nice.

Dark. Staff not unfriendly but not massively welcoming either. Massively overpriced drinks. Almost 4 quid for a Fentimans non alcoholic Ginger beer, total rip off.

The food was super tasty and there was a lot of variety with the Christmas menu sharing starters. The pork belly main was super yummy. Lucy was so amazing, really attentive and lovely :)

We had a wonderful Christmas Dinner here! despite being a group of 10 service was still speedy and the food was excellent. The sharing tapas were good portions and really tasty. Thanks to our lovely server Lucy as well!

A place of clattering plates, was my first impression, no one serving, a queue at the bar, one card machine. A business seemingly in some chaos. Things changed when the staff changed..Not a great experience

I've been a regular here for a year now and have a stellar experience every time I go. Cannot recommend this place enough. The staff are friendly, atmosphere is quiet comfy on the weekdays but lively on the weekends (especially during the pub quiz on Sundays). Amazing food and drinks!!

Had lovely dinner with family, great food, caring service

Had a burger and fries with kombucha - dessert was a rich chocolate and raspberry torte with tea. I’m celiac and dairy free. Super yummm and highly recommend.

The team were fantastic from when we arrived,to when we left. I had a lounge breakfast. It was really tasty.

Pub atmosphere. Very dark inside. Food was ok. Fast delivered but the quality not the best.

A huge shoutout to the manager Evie, who served us so wonderfully at the Velo Lounge on Thursday evening. She was warm, friendly and inviting. She is an asset to your team. The food was excellent!

Always worth a visit. The Velo offers everything from coffee and cake to beer and a bacon butty with an amazing menu in between. Quirky atmosphere, free board games, kids and pets welcome, what's not to like?

Really good full english breakfast, you can taste that the sausage and bacon are decent quality too! The only hang-up was that the coffee wasn't included with the breakfast, which meant that you're spending nearly 20 quid.

Another lovely visit. A great place for Brighton with the grandchildren
