A pleasant evening nice food followed by a music quiz drinks and fun

We were recommended steak pie with short crust pastry but the pastry was soft

Steak ,sirloin was just a lump gristle,but gave my money back offered to do me another meal ,but as my family had eaten it wad to late .

The food was great, and the service was quick and friendly

Absolutely beautiful food, the steak is so tender, melts in your mouth and is perfectly seasoned, the puddings are to die for. Friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere, I can not say a bad word about it xxx

What can I say? After eating out a few times on a recent visit to the area from our home in Spain, on the last night, just before we flew home from the fabulous Teeside airport, we popped in for an early dinner. Of the three of us, everyone, really, and I mean really, enjoyed their food, the portions were more than ample, served on warm plates, why don't restaurants do that anymore, and the prices were very competitive. I had the burger with the pulled pork in BBQ sauce on top, and it was most probably the best burger I had ever eaten, and I've had a few, but it was trully excellent. I cannot recommend them highly enough and we cannot wait for our next visit where it will become one of our regular haunts. Thank you for reading.

I visited with friends for the music quiz. The atmosphere was pleasant and we enjoyed the quiz as usual. Bar staff were courteous and friendly.

Called in for lunch and a drink. Food nice and friendly service.

We came for lunch on Monday afternoon and Luke the assistant manager looked after us. He was very helpful and recommended the fish and chips which were delicious. Will definitely be returning.

I came here last night with my husband normally when we go to restaurant's the plates and cutlery are stained and dirty but here they might as well have been brand new! I met one of the workers on the way out and he told me he was the pot washer I was very pleased with his work. My husband was in a great mood from this service and we had the best night!

A generally happy, child friendly place. Food is great for fussy kids with the typical food options, for small and large appetites. Vegetarian options are good, including a nice and spicy veg chilli. Warm chocolate fudge cake is very filling.

The lady we believe to be a manager, Holly and Grace were so kind and helpful. The lovely gents who served us at the bar and table were accommodating too. Great experience at the Myton yesterday - good service from Grace

Great Pub, very well managed on Christmas Eve. We didn't book but they managed to find us a table to suit our time slot and their booking schedule. Grace (our server) checked with us on several times about food quality and cleared the table of glasses and plates quickly. Great experience.

Will definitely be back! PS. I think the management should give both Ellie and Grace £50. It's Christmas.

On arrival they was nobody at the entrance to guide you to your seat you have to go to the bar and ask (if you havnt been before you wouldn't know). I said we have reserved a table who do I see about it the young lad said me what's your name then said its over there in the corner it's a large place and was very busy with drinkers. I had to ask if you order at the bar I was told yes . We ordered a drink first I asked can you put it on the table and pay when we order food I was told no so had to pay for our drink . I found our table after walking around looking. It had a reserve on in my name . The table was dirty drinks spilled on it only one chair so went looking for a chair. I had to go ask for someone to wash the table he then had to go find someone to come and clean it a young girl came over didn't smile just said can I clean your table. I said if someone put a reserve on why didn't they clean it first I never got a reply nor a apology she just walked away. The food was bland and average stay medium to well was black burnt. But it is cheap. First time I have been and my last . Staff walking about doing nothing clean your tables would be a start

We visited last week the Myton is a lovely friendly and cosy place the staff are really friendly! The meals we had were excellent cod and chips and steak and chips could not fault them! Compliments to the chef well done keep up the good work 👍🏾👍🏾

Went on Remembrance Sunday. Atmosphere was good, staff even provided some free sausage sandwiches, which was appreciated by all the ex service people there. Would definitely recommend a visit if your in the area.

We arrived early to our booking and we were able to sit straight down at the table and start ordering which was great with the little one, the food was amazing and we will definitely be back for another meal soon, the staff were great and helpful, they made this birthday meal special so thank you to them.

My husband & I visited the Myton on Friday night with our daughter & grandson. Although we all didn’t eat, our grandson had some food. He’s quite fussy, no lettuce in his cheese burger, sauce separate, wanted a bag of crisps with it, Adam said it was fine and it arrived as he wanted ☺️. When his dessert arrived later, Tiegan had put an extra strawberry on for him. The staff always go that extra mile to keep visitors happy. They are always polite & friendly and happy to help.
