large quantity of food and vegetables. delivery time was extended slightly and warm rather than hot food on arrival. personally I would prefer more flavour to the vegetables. vegetarian option was tasty with the craberries. I would order again.

Quality food & service. What’s not to like ?

Only got 3 roast potatoes between two of us…. ! Sort it out Wolviston!

Excellent service and food was excellent

Would have got a higher score if the order had been correct, no bacon included in any of the 4 buns. Annoying when it has been paid for.

roast potatos hard and cold chicken had a strip of gristle

Only problem is how far the drinks machine is from the bar area, should be another drinks machine near bar area

Main carvery gret. Server very funny. Poor young lady serving us on tables was clearly new and chucked in the deep end without training. What a lovely well presented and polite young lady too, clearly trying her absolute best to manage issues arising. Absolutely not her fault but down to lack of training by the manager! Dessert wrong twice. Cancelled. Asked the manager in passing if we could have our table cleared and though she had empty hands herself, instead of taking them there and then she just replied ' oh I'll tell her' and walked off! Staff have told me for quite a long time now that the manager, Annabelle, is awful to work under. To refer to the staff as 'her' is awful to hear. These are people, they have names! Treat your staff with the respect they deserve and give them adequate training and become a good manager or ship out and let someone come in and lift the glum mood in there!

Love coming here, staff so friendly, service excellent, food lovely and veg always topped up.

Enjoyed another lovely lunch here. They cater for allergies/dietary requirements and all staff are very welcoming and helpful. Natalie is always very efficient and greets us with a smile and friendly chat. Thanks also to Harry the carver for the delicious pork.

Joe who served us looked after us and was very pleasant & jolly. He made our visit enjoyable & special considering it was my dad’s 81st birthday. We’ll definitely visit again sometime soon.

Carvery tasty & a good choice of Vegetables, unfortunately the beef was fatty & tuff.

I go to the toby twice a week can't fault the quality of the food the great friendly atmosphere i get every time I visit and it's really good value for money ,we are always well looked after by Natalie service with a smile 😃

Lovely Toby with delicious food. Best gravy so far and we have been in plenty of Toby’s from Devon to Edinburgh. Our server was Katie and carver Dean - give them 5* for politeness, friendliness and efficiency.

A lovely Carvery, plenty of vegetables on hand, especially the crispy roasties. A particularly nice touch was the availability of pork crackling! Chelsea (from Bradford) was a great hostess who looked after me extremely well.

really pleasant afternoon at Toby, was busy so had to wait to be seated but we’re sat down and fed within 30 minutes, staff were really polite and friendly and our food was delicious.

Missing items from the meals. Cold and very small portions. Requested additional gravy which was ignored. Very poor quality. Purchased on a Sunday which was double the price but no change in what was offered other than smaller / missing items

The food in main was lovely. It was disappointing there was no mashed potato & there wasn't enough sauce on the sticky toffee pudding. Apart from that, everything was lovely. Cody our server, was very lovely. Attentive, friendly & happy

Booked table for today for 2. Paul the carver made conversation as I was waiting for him to carve and plate my meat. Natalie our waitress is always happy and friendly and explained about the voucher system and how the rewards work. This was not only for me but to other customers as well. The staff are always very friendly and helpful.

Very enjoyable experience and excellent service today. Food was really nice. Plenty of choice for meats at the carvery counter and a great selection of roasties and vegetables available as well. Been coming here every week for a lot of years and never been disappointed. Management and staff are always really friendly and create a very welcoming atmosphere. Good value for money as well.

Our server was Gemma and she was welcoming, attentive and efficient, she never stopped while we were there, always tidying, setting up etc but nothing was too much trouble, she also helped me with the Toby app as I had not used it before. Excellent service from Kerry, always happy, very friendly and very professional.

Server Gemma and carver Dean were both lovely. The vegan mushroom pie was very nice. I wasn't a fan of the mac and cheese or the cauliflower cheese as neither had much cheese! Overall, a nice visit and welcoming environment. If they have it, try the seasonal deserts, they are really good.

Had all you can eat breakfast and it's a perfect cure for hang over x

Beautiful meal, the food was hot and looked appealing. Good selection of meat and veggies. We had prebooked a table for 4 people and although it wasn't that busy, our table was very small, more suited for two, packed into a tight corner fairly close to the food so we were also uncomfortably hot. My husband and son are both over 6 foot and were extremely cramped at this tiny table. We saw lots of larger free tables and all the other groups of four we saw were seated at much larger tables, We wanted to move but we never saw a waiter until we were finished the meal. This has really put us all off visiting again and it is a shame because the food was lovely.

Love breakfast as well as carvey and service

We are a regular user of Toby and are always looked after. Natalie welcomed us this morning and was bright and cheerful - which creates a good start to our day. Paul brought out fresh fried eggs and the food was great.

Great food , great service. Lots of choices of roast meats & veg . Ice-cream that we had for desert was beautifully smooth & silky . We were served by Brad at the carvery & Natalie was out table server . Both did a friendly & efficient service, as they usually do when we visit.

Natalie went out of her way to help us excellent service Brad was excellent asking us what did we want excellent manners thank you
