Brandon always gives service with a smile which customers appreciate.

Don’t usually leave reviews however, my partner and I waited over one hour for a rare steak and a burger (on a Tuesday night). When we eventually asked about it they went and checked and brought it out straight away which means it was probably sitting there for ages.

Forty percent discount week so very busy which is usual on this week. Waited a bit for food but worth it, the mixed grills where hot, well cooked and tasty. Staff great as usual despite being extremely busy.

Brandon our server was a lovely guy very friendly and chatty hes credit to the pub.

Great night, but placed on a table at an angle which gave us a restricted view of the entertainment (the reason we went that night) and also had a large noisy table of very drunk people next to us...barging back and forth to dance, knocking out chairs etc. Not a stuffed shirt grump usually, we had teen aged kids with us, were there quite early as we were dining, but these idiots turned up about 10 mins after us, and we were stuck next to them all night. Food was it's usually fabulous standard. Teens enjoyed darts and pool, the band was excellent

Kayla was amazing for us today. We come up late for the band, didn't have a table completely accommodated us. Was amazing service and so polite and friendly.

Took 6 of our residents here for lunch yesterday. Food was lovely , our table was in a great location, service was good and had a lovelywelcome, we shall be coming back 😀

booked a table for 8 senior citizens staff very friendly food exellent chose from the two for thirteen pounds lunchtime menu the portions were large the pub was very spacious and ideal for disabled access the car park was free to customers we will definately be going back

Orderd our food and was not told there was a wait so expected fast service 50 minutes later was wondering were food was so asked and apparently they were just playting it up or an excuse to say they forgot us food was terrible my sons beans were rock hard and had to ask for fresh also mums steak was like a pair of boots and my pork tomahawk was salty as anything I'm not one to complain as service people were fantastic but if you want terrible food definitely recommended hear

Every time we have had food in the Deer's Leap, the food is excellent, and the service is very good. It has a terrific atmosphere and you have to book a table because it is so popular.

Very busy ,not very clean and to ask for folk as there were none washed . Alot of babies and young children there late i don't know if there was a cut off time ?

We came down on a Monday afternoon to use our Christmas gift cards on dinner. We had an amazing meal from Chef Raff! The fish and chips are amazing followed up with the garlic bread! 🤩🤩

I came in around 2:30 and had the best experience got served by Brandon had great Communication skills definitely will come again.

I came in at 3 PM for a meal with my partner. The server who served us, Brandon, was really polite, giving us lots of recommendations on the menu. He made our experience here a lot more enjoyable as we were able to have a laugh whilst enjoying some well prepared food. After receiving our order, he came to check on us to make sure that everything was okay and asked if we would like any more drinks. All in all, it was a really positive experience, and I'll definitely be visiting again in the near future.

We often attend the leap for food and drinks, the service is always great and so is the food. Cameron took care of us on our last visit, he was superb and had a good knowledge of the menu and allergens 👍

I had a wonderful time at the leap, and a young server called hannah served me. I had a great time as customer service is extremely important to me and this young girl was nothing but kind.

Went to the Deer's Leap for food yesterday afternoon, food came out quick, was hot and tasted great. Staff were very friendly and had a good chat with both working on the bar. Place was very clean and was very warm and inviting as you walk in. Would highly recommend the Mega mixed grill, it's well worth the money.

Great good, great service and outstanding staff, had a great time watching the live music on a Saturday night, couldn't fault the atmosphere, 10/10 would recommend

Great pub ,food I'd give 4 star's but over all a 5 , very welcoming dog friendly and great for football, unfortunately not always best results but that's my poor choice in football team.

I went to the Deers Leap last weekend with my family. The food was delicious and all my family were happy with their meals. The customer service was amazing, our server was called Hannah and she was very polite, helpful and well mannered. She spoke kindly to my children and wished them a Happy Christmas which I appreciated very much! I will be returning soon!

Ordered gammon on just eat. Everything was overcooked, hard and cold. Pineapple was missing. Worst meal ever 😣

Had the classic mixed grill it was excellent. Staff are so pleasant and seem to really enjoy their work.

Cheap and cheerful as to be expected. Always busy, so doing the right things there. Will be back.

Been to have meals here about 6 times on various days in last month always been spot on but Had two gammon meals earier today asked for extra egg side of onion rings and garlic bread with cheese meals came out with onion rings forgot extra egg and garlic bread came out 5 minutes later not a big problem but the meal it's self was the worse one we have ever had gammon was dried up and not very hot also chips where luke warm don't really know what happened has it was not that busy and has been really busy on last visits very disappointing.

Food is always good, service is quick. Very friendly barman who went out of his way to help! Would definitely recommend

Had fish and chips tonight, was stunning, fish was light and fluffy. Staff were pleasant and busy. Had a lovely welcome as always with Angela, who's happy and smiley.

I've been going to the leap weekly, or more, for at least 20 years. In the last couple of years the food has improved massively. We have not had 1 bad meal and the food is always of a lovely standard. Last night, we did the weekly quiz, which is always great fun. Brandon, who did the quiz, was fab. We had commented on him earlier in the evening on how friendly he was when serving and how he even came over to check if we'd like a bucket of ice to keep our wine cold.

In fairness, food is OK drinks are amazing.

Frequently visit the Deers Leap and staff are always great. Think the menu needs changing although its probably more our fault for visiting so regular lol! Would like the automatic tip option taken off the app as get caught out and would rather tip the staff who serve on our visit. Overall a great place to visit for a drink or food.

Having booked a table on the Friday, making sure I had one for Saturday at 7.45 pm.on going to the bar you could see the place busy as it has music on every Saturday , ordered drinks and asked for our table, looking round I could only see 2, and yes you guessed it right next to the bands speakers..so drank our drinks and left. So to the manager I think you need to re think the seating when the bands are playing ( frequent customers)...

This was my 4th visit in recent weeks and this visit was to celebrate my 65th birthday. Myself and my wife Really enjoyed our celebration meal and drinks, I'm planning a return visit this Wednesday with an old friend.

First time visit, and it was well worth it. Could not fault the place, food was served promptly and nice and hot (well done chef), would certainly visit again, it is a popular place, with most people eating.

very busy on our visit managed to get one of the last free tables, alot of them were reserved, food was as expected no frills reasonably priced, and it was excatly that's, I had the hunters chicken, the BBQ sauce was very nice sweet flavoured and the chicken was cooked perfectly, my wife had the tikka masala again had nice flavour

Nice sizzling pub food. Clean loos. Fast service. Good sized portions. Extensive menu. Could do with a deep clean (as could many pubs). Plenty of free parking (enter your number plate on the touch screen in the pub).

Parking is free if eating at the pub. Staff seemed unmotivated to customers' complainants (someone had cold chips and they took so long their patner finished thier food and he wanted his money back) have no interest in promoting the pub. It is clearly a franchise, and the owner is failing to promote staff loyalty. Staff were a team but only to themselves. Lacking a good managers input. Photo, hunters chips, and southern fried chicken starter. It was really nice tasty food.

We attended the deers leap for drinks and I was looking for a certain vodka, Eve served us and was amazing talked me through all the vodkas they served until we found a similar one to what I wanted thank you so much Eve for you patients and help

We had some really good food on visiting this occasion, it can get very busy but they were on top of everything with regards to the food today .

Well where do I start 😔 upon entry it looked busy so expected to wait abit. Most tables were dirty with either glasses or dirty plates. We picked one off to the side and cleared the table. We sat looked at menu and it looked promising, ordered at the bar 2 mixed grills and 2 cokes then asked the barman for a cloth to wipe the table. He came and cleaned the table promptly. Within 10 minutes our food was delivered to the table on sizzling plates, we both sat there and looked at a plate of food that resembled something of a leftover BBQ which had been left to char. We were starving and I said it might taste better than it looks oh how wrong were we. Everything was burnt underneath and everything tasted the same, we made a joke of it as we closed our eyes and tried to identify what we were eating. If it wasn't for the mustard and mayo making it almost edible. We didn't complain as some of the staff were rushed off their feet and looked abit stressed whilst the other half looked like they didn't want to be there and didn't care, so we up and left feeling disappointed and saying we won't be returning.

Visited lunch time with the grandson our second visit within a week.The meal we had on both occasions were fish and Chips ,Hunters Chicken .On our last visit I wanted Lazanier however they had run out.The fish on all occasions was super well cooked and presented quantity and quality A1. As for staff well presented pleasant went the extra mile to please Great.All meals and drink value for money Well done all round

We dine quite regularly at the sizzler pubs but we have to say the Deers leap is the best. The atmosphere is great. The quality of food is super and the variety on menu is great. The service is outstanding, the staff are always smiling and especially the young man called Cameron that served us tonight, he was so helpful and courteous. There are always different offers on drinks and meals and with cost of living being so expensive at the moment this is a great help for families. Well done Deers Leap

We have visited this establishment many times over the years for food and drinks, but this visit wasn't so great. I think it was clear they were either understaffed or very disorganized. We ordered drinks and food at the bar tye lemonade was off, when I returned it the bat tender pulled a face . Rather than apologise. We ordered dessert from the app had to go and ask for it 40 min later. No cutlery available to eat with had to que to ask for some while my food was sat on the table. Very disappointed in our family visit this time, unfortunately
