Pub on the Pond in Swansea

Food was excellent and brought out on time, nothing was forgotten or wrong, considering the large group of 25 of us. Attended for my baby shower and they were brilliant accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed/we were all together. Would recommend to anyone!

Had the steak and cheese wrap which had 3 slices (thin) of steak in it and 2 slices of what i can only call plastic cheese (the one like you get in a shop cheese burger) which was horrendous to say the least, i had 6 chips so thankgod for them but they were cold, hmmm dont think ill be going again.

We didn't book a table but they still fitted us in....Great Atmosphere and tasty food...will definitely be back

Bouncing this Friday evening in POTP. Such great staff and wonderful service. We tend to pop in for a swift half when walking the dogs. We are treated so well it has become a bit of a go to place. So happy to see that others are catching on to this little gem with such easy access and plentiful parking. Small plates are also delicious for a snack and they even serve cheap food for the dogs. Massive thanks to Gez tonight who saw us arriving and had our usual ready before we even made the bar!!!

Returned for a family birthday celebration after a great Christmas one. Ordered buffet food in advance. Cold buffet food was excellent as was the hot. The dessert platters were even nicer than previously. Kid's meals were great and excellent value for money.Staff were kind, helpful and efficient . All in all another great experience

Never again food was so small for amount money I paid I will never return again

Friendly staff and good service. Vegan options available so the whole party was catered for. Reasonable pricing for the food that we had.

Don’t know what to say , was a nice place years ago , came today and what a mess would never ever come again the food was terrible and the paint finger prints on the glasses was the final straw

It was a quiet early in the evening, several of the chosen drinks/dishes were not available. All the meat was well cooked and very tasty the children enjoyed their half term FREE meals desserts and drinks. Downside expensive parking should have used the college car park. £2 after 4pm

Whilst visiting family in Wales for the weekend, we were delighted to learn that this place also welcomed our furry family member Max 🐶 We chose the steak from the menu which was cooked to perfection & the desert went down a treat. Most of all I’d like to commend the staff for the lovely Welsh welcome we received & of course, Max loved the fuss. A real relaxed, family atmosphere & we will definitely return during our next visit to Wales. Keep up the excellent work team x

Booked Pub on the pond for 19 of us for my mums 60th birthday. We had a fab time! The staff were great, the atmosphere fantastic. Would definitely recommend.

Nice ambience and cozy pub, we could bring our dog which was great. Very affordable pub food and lovely position for families with kids and dogs. There is a payable parking available outside the pub, a little lake, a playground and mini golf just outside.

We sat down as a table of 3, one plate arrived 15 minutes before the other 2 which was a shame as we like to eat together. This meant I had a luke warm meal. A bacon cheeseburger was ordered by a friend, the audacity to even have the word bacon in the name is mind boggling. Attached is a photo of said “bacon”, which made up approximately 1% of the burger, “essence of bacon” would be more fitting. Staff were friendly and welcoming and were obviously busy. However, it doesn’t excuse the quality of food and wait time. Chairs and tables very run down.

Organised the Uni's Cricket Club Christmas dinner event at Pub on the Pond in December and had the best help and service from the staff! The food was great and so was the service when navigating serving 40+ guests with multiple courses. The Pub also very kindly offered for us to have a spontaneous karaoke session after dinner which all the members loved. Thank you to everyone at Pub on the Pond for the event. Will definitely come back again as a Club!

Had a lovely Christmas dinner here with my friends, the soup was delicious and the service was top notch. The hunky ginger bar man was so nice we invited him to sit and have dinner with us, it was a wonderful experience but he refused to make me a cuppa 9/10

I was able to book a very last minute lunch time table for today for a large group (20!). Mindful of being limited to just 1 hour we pre-ordered our food yesterday, only had to wait a short time to be eating and were finished well within the hour ... most impressive considering there were 2 other large parties eating too. We always have fab service here, the menu choices and prices are great and the staff are awesome! Thank you 😁

Myself and my colleagues decided for a last minute lunchtime meal, they managed to get 20 of us booked in even at such a busy time at Christmas, the food was great and the wait wasn't long at all which we were expecting, the staff there are amazing and we always have a great service with them whenever we go here for food and drinks!

Went for a Christmas meal here, over 50 of us, every meal was perfect, atmosphere was awesome and great value as well!

Good food, cozy feel, good value for money

The lasagne was lukewarm and the cheese on the top looked like glue. It tasted as bad as it looked. I would have complained at the time but no one asked how it was. Won't go again.

Booked a table as it was Friday night so I expected it to be full but there was no need, we were the only ones in there. I ordered a pint for myself and a small lemonade for the wife and was told it would be served in a plastic glass as the dishwasher was broke! Surely it would be no hardship to wash up 2 glasses? I was then shocked to find the pint and lemonade came to £9.30!! Food was reasonably priced but no better than a wetherspoons meal. The only car park is a council run one where you have to pay. I don't think I will be visiting again.

Great food and drinks selection. Ideal location for students as it is right next to Singleton Campus (Swansea Uni) and Singleton Hospital. Been in there loads and never had a bad experience, consistently nice atmosphere with very good prices, especially if you're a student!

I booked a Sunday lunch here a few weeks ago , booked on Saturday evening placed my order with the lady behind the bar for our lunch the next day as she said to order incase they ran out . We arrived in time on the Sunday we're showed to a reserved table , we then proceeded to wait an hour and 40 minutes, I went to the side of the bar where all the staff were sitting eating. When i asked where our food was they told me we hadn't ordered ?????? As far as we were aware we had ordered the evening before and as they showed us to our " Reserved" table when we got there we wouldn't need to "order again !!" We spent £20 on drinks while we were "waiting" !! We will not be back again

The perfect place to go and unwind as a student. Practically right next to Singleton Campus and there's a student discount. The place gets a little packed in the afternoons but overall my favourite pub in Swansea.

Cheap but delicious. Had the lunch deal of vegan meatballs with sauce in ciabbatta and omg, it was amazing ! I'll definitely come back. It's perfect for students like me who are tight on money but need to eat on campus once a week.

Love this place! Such a nice relaxing atmosphere and very child friendly too. It’s in the perfect location, close to a park, crazy golf and the beautiful grounds of Singleton Park. The work service is fab, and very friendly. They serve you and bring food out in a timely manner and are happy to engage in conversation.

Visited a few times over the past few weeks and they consistently exceed my expectations! Lovely staff and great atmosphere at reasonable prices.

Popped into Pub On The Pond today after a long walk on the beach with the dog, found out that they are dog friendly and couldn’t have been happier to find this little gem. Had a bit of a complication with allergies however the waiter that served us couldn’t have done enough solving all the questions we had, with great product knowledge and allergen information provided prior to ordering. Can’t wait to go back again soon.

The speed of the kitchen was very good. My pie and chicken strips were with me before I knew it. Defo recommend.

Such a cute pub in a perfect location! My favourite place to go with our dog and always service with a smile. The staff are super friendly, there’s always a great buzz about the place and they have the best vegan ice cream! Would 100% recommend if you’re in the area

Went to pub on the pond for the evening with work for a drink or two and had a brilliant night. I think they were training new staff as the management on shift showed great leadership skills and patience while teaching them how to take our orders and nothing seemed too much for them. It’s great to see them put so much time into the new members of staff to make sure the experience is good for all parties. We’ve already booked in for a Christmas party and can’t wait to return.

Went here recently with the Mrs and the kids, staff team were all fantastic, and the kids loved feeding the ducks after having our food.

As an all year regular you can see that I have awarded you a five star review but the real down side is the conditions of the toilets which are in need of an urgent upgrade they are pretty disgraceful, a bit of outside maintenance wouldn't go a miss either, hope to see Improvements in the very near future.

Loved my evening at pub on the pond! I went for a nice meal with my partner and the lovely waitress explained there was karaoke! We thought as it was a friday night and no work tomorrow, we cannot miss it! We enjoyed every second along with our great meal beforehand. We will be back next friday for some karaoke and some drinks and bring our friends to enjoy the atmosphere!

I went in here with my family after they came down to visit me at Uni, I had heard good things about it. I myself was very impressed by how nice the restaurant was . It was very clean and all the staff were incredibly polite and welcoming . My parents were very pleased with how good the quality of food and value for money it was . I recently visited the charming pub on the pond, and it was a delightful experience!
