Staff are always friendly, good coffee good tuna melt. Very expensive.

The usual high standard of service was maintained as expected. Staff clean and well presented in a friendly manner.

Last 3 visits I've had to wait for someone to even get behind the counter..Happily chatting to some odd ball by the bogs.. No food at all on 2 occasions at 930 am.. Walked out won't be back..

I was here to have coffee with a friend and a meeting. It was early afternoon so fairly busy. Service was quick and efficient, staff were friendly and welcoming. The shop was clean and tide and staff were quick and efficient at clearing and cleaning tables in between servicing customers.

The flat white tasted gross. The milk tasted off, not sure if the milk had been reheated a few times.

One of the best Costas in Swansea. Firstly the coffee is excellent and the baristas are first class and actually care. Plenty of seating and a very relaxing atmosphere.

Whenever I have ordered form there, they simply don't bother reading the order correctly. Constant missing items, drinks prepared incorrectly and impossible to get a refund. They take your money and don't actually bother giving you what you've asked for. Decided to give them one more chance and they cancelled the order after we'd been waiting with no explanation. Don't order from Uplands Costa, they are cartoonishly bad.

Drinks were made well apart from the latte with vanilla syrup had no vanilla syrup lol

Realy nice latte coffee made with whole milk.

Not easy to park in area but cafe is on main street. Noisy due to noisy coffee machinery and hard floors. Cheese & tomato toasty had too much sweetish tomato sauce and too little normal tomato. And there was no salt or pepper - got impression that they are not available at all !! Overall disappointed.

Restraurant lived up to expectations

It was good and it could definitely be much better.

They charge so much but decided to just completely ignore my drink order, not giving me the correct drink but still charging me for the extras they missed. They also just didn't bother giving me the toastie I ordered, messing up my morning before work. It was a simple order got completely wrong and it blows my mind how they managed to mess up something so easy, so badly.

Nice coffees - always lots of effort to please, and happy to accommodate slight changes to drinks on offer. Food is preset by the company so the same as any costa. Usually quite nice but could be a better variety. Cakes always seem a bit stale, but nice if you catch them on their first day.

I visit here often and love the atmosphere. A tall young man with wavy hair is always polite, helpful and even remembers what I have . A lady did my expresso but didn’t warm the cup this really spoils it as by the time you get to your seat it’s gone cold. Please can all staff do this it makes a difference thank you

Staff here are always lovely! Despite it being a chain coffee shop, they truly make you feel comfortable and remembered as a regular!

OK not the best coffee shop imo especially during strict lockdown. They had a very unwelcoming military attitude. Still no warm reception here. Cafe Nero is far superiorx

Very slow service! Takes them 15 mins to make one cup ridiculous really.. and to top it all off then young fella that works there is very very Rude and Disrespectful!! Would not recommend this Costa would rather the one in bus station

plenty of seating available, enjoyed the visit but the service was slower than usual although the chap serving was doing a top job in keeping all customers happy.

I have to say, the cleanest Costa I’ve even seen in Uk. Was surprised about how neat and clean the store was. For that, I’d give it a five.

Staff need training on how to talk to customers and not about them.My daughter just had the most unpleasant experience involving a blond middle age staff member and a younger girl with coller hair and actually left her in tears.The two lady's serving wear very loudly complaining about the customers and saying that people are buying oat milk and laughing at her when she asked for a oat latte and said see another one.You think they should be trainedto upselland make each customersfeel happy not puttingthem out.very unprofessional ,shall be avoiding the place when those particular staff members are working.

Middle age blonde staff member and a younger staff member with died hair different colours talking really loud about the customers including my daughter. Need training on how to speak to customers. They wear complaining that everyone is always buying oat milk (mainly students) and its a stupid craze. Then when my daughter got to the front of the queue she asked for a oat latte and the blond one went see and whispered to the other woman and laughed. Awful behaviour as you think they should be promoting this product and up selling.

I didn't have the greatest experience here today, but I'm sure the staff are just as fed up with lockdown as we are. If you're after a Costa and must have a Costa, well, you're in luck, it's probably open. But there's far more independents about Uplands and Sketty who will give you what you order, not just what's on a corporate menu and pre-programmed into the till.

I tend to use this establishment as my primary study area, I find the calm and peaceful low noise drone of the coffee machines working away a very meditative place to work. The seating arrangement is excellent, it accomodates; the busy people, spread sheeter's, families and keyboard tappers. The staff are super welcoming and very quick. Definitely recommend the vanilla and coconut latte.

Had one of the new hot drinks and it was really good. It was sweet and just perfect for a rainy day. The staff were very friendly as well.

I popped up to the Uplands as I had a few pieces of work to drop off at the framing shop. I had a look around the shops and the street market then decided to stop off for a mocha before heading home. I walked in and the shop was lovely and ward, so much so that my glasses steamed up. I found a table, dropped my bag off and went to order. The service was speedy, the barista was friendly and made a great mocha, the manager took my payment with a smile. I took my seat to enjoy my drink whilst doing a little cross stitch, I could see the staff were quick and efficient when clearing tables and keeping the place clean and tidy. A great place to stop off after a spot of shopping, thanks for the great customer service.

Honestly I am sure he is a very nice guy but the employee with a Birmingham accent needs to turn his volume control down. He must understand that when customers sit in Costa we do not want to listen to his endless ramblings. He started to work in Mumbles and after years of going there I simply stopped - I could not bear listening to him going on and on and on. Other customers would be raising their eyes to heaven - it was not just me. How anyone works with him is beyond me. So please Costa management reign this guy in - he is just too much. I am sure with the right guidance he can calm down and understand that it is not all about him.

It's a Costa. Does what it says on the tin...by which I mean it's going to Costa you a fortune. You do get nice coffee and cakes though.

I have only given two because there was queue and only 1 member of staff on that had to make the coffee and take out the toast for a couple company of this size it should have had at least two on. Once again profit over the needs of its customers. The member of staff was run of his feet. Costa shame on you

Reliable Coffee, spacious and well organised seating and friendly staff in the heart of Uplands. Some outdoor seating too for a sunny afternoon.

I tend to stratify in my judgement those Costa Coffee outlets that do and do not bother to stock Costa's excellent range of low carbohydrate salads (chicken or tuna). This branch only stocks pasta salads - with so many carbohydrates that you may as well be choosing cake. I have been here on several occasions, and their absence is consistent. Some people opt for low carb choices as a healthy preference, and others do so not out of preference but as an essential means of ensuring control of their diabetes. Costa are an enormous international organisation, and with that comes responsibility - they should be obliged to offer healthy options in every single one of their branches; it should be integral to their brand. Branches that could not be bothered to do so (when the options are made available to them by the Costa organisation) are in my opinion behaving irresponsibly and do not deserve our custom in principle. Indeed I believe that Costa should not extend their franchise to them. If this branch had included even one single healthy option then I might well have rated it very highly - a spacious and bright cafe with comfortable seating and natural light. However, during the visit under review staff were rather too busy chatting to each other to notice that they had customers.

Excellent hot drinks and very comfortable in cafe with comfortable seating. Good atmosphere. Drinks are the usual price but delicious. Have to park streets away and have to walk there but no problem.

Met here for a catch up with an old friend and colleague,but it was so noisy ,and quite hard to find a clean table that we had a coffee,and muffin but did not stay too long.

This place is great for stopping by if you are in the area Costa coffee offers a wide selection of coffees and tea's Costa coffee is a great place to meet friends and family the quality of the tea and coffee and cakes was very exceptional I was also very pleased with the service and politeness of the staff and the cleanliness of the cafe overall I was very impressed and this is a great cafe :)

Great place to go to, never busy and cozy!

Visited yesterday with my friend for a coffee. I asked for a strong double espresso and coffee with milk for my friend. Paid £5.25 before getting the coffee and that’s it. The money is already in your till and go on, another customer please!!! We were standing and waiting for the lady to prepare these coffees in front of us and she just filled it up with the hot water the biggest cup that she had in that moment almost to the top and then from another smaller cup dropped some black coffee over all of that hot water and she said: Your black coffee Sir...??? Listen, I don’t know who showed you to make a double espresso but definitely NO IDEA. This disrespectful behaviour and even when it seems like that you are spending some kind of joke to the customers is unacceptable. You should be ashamed of the way how you serve the coffee as the coffee is the ART and not just a “swimming pool” of black water where you can see the bottom of the cup... My friend also get the huge, enormous cup of coffee with milk but more than the half of that cup was filled up with the milk foam and not with the milk. I would appreciate the feedback from your manager or someone responsable if they are able to say something about this... After all this circus I want to mention too that in my Restaurant inside of one very busy commercial centre we sell around 10kg. of coffee beans... per day! And 10kg. of coffee beans after passed through the grinder makes around 1.400 coffees using 7 grams per each espresso. This is just to let you know and leave the things clear that I didn’t jump or fell from the tree like a monkey as that was my feeling after my visit... Thanks for this NEW EXPERIENCE, every day you can see something new...

Much better than some other Costa Coffees. Friendly staff and well-stocked with vegan spread and bread for toast. Pleasant, spacious interior.
