The best restaurants serving American food in England

Lovely staff, always so welcoming and accommodating. Lost my student ID here and Simon recognised me immediately and gave it back to me. I come here often with my friends after uni and we always have such a lovely time. Big up Simon! Definitely one of the best pubs in the area, and the staff make it even better. The beer garden is a hidden gem for sure!

Food is always good but this was the 2nd time they forgot the bottle of drink

Genuinely, some of the worse food i've had, which is such a shame to say. The salad was a giant bowl of around 500ml of sauce and oil, with lettuce and bits in it, like a soup. Just rank. I ordered a chicken and mushroom pasta, but a cheese and tomatoe one arrived... the guy on the phone was adamant it's chicken and mushroom, and I hate to say " im looking at it, and there isn't any chicken and mushroom here". Just a giant block of cheap pasta and cheese with tinned tomatoes. The burger is subpar, i'd give it a 5/10. Dry, tasted old, super thin chicken and the bread is stale. The whole experience was bad, sad to say but you can't tell whoever made the food can't cook,it's barely paletable or edible. Maybe there was someone filling in for the chef? I don't know. Overall i can't recommend this place at all. Worse food i'd had in actually quite some time... the soup salad really got me!

Pizza was bad and the garlic bread was even worst

Me metieron en el último minuto, fue genial! El servicio era maravilloso y la comida era buena también! Estaba de humor para una hamburguesa que era difícil de encontrar. Jay era muy servicial y amable, así como todo el personal. ¡Volveré aquí de nuevo!

I don't live in Preston anymore but come up frequently to visit family and the last time I came here, a couple of years ago, the food was half decent. Tonight, unfortunately, the food was terrible. I asked for a burger meal and was propositioned immediately by the kid behind the counter to the card payment machine. When i asked about what salad and sauce it came with he said 'oh right, what do you want'. I knew at that very moment that my order would be complely wrong. The burger was low quality, didn't have any salad or sauce and the chips were stale. Really poor quality considering a few years ago the food was really good here. As well as this, it's surely the earliest closing takeaway in the country? I've been past at 8:30pm and they've been closing up.

Went in on saturday for a grill was dissapointed to find they had took grills and steaks off the menu ? Went to bungalows and bears where we had a great mixed grill will go there in the future.

Quality and portion ok. High prices

over priced for what you get. We had sandwiches which were mostly coleslaw, chicken that wasn’t cooked properly, they didn’t have Coke Zero or Fanta. Everything is extra, nothing comes with chips, salad or any sides. The wings challenge on the menu, says ask a waiter for more info and then they said you need to order it a week in advance, I have no idea why. Not great overall, I wouldn’t go back.

Usually I’ve enjoyed going here and really have rated red dog as pretty decent. So it’s fairly disappointing to pay £13.50 for an INDIVIDUAL SANDWICH and get a measley amount of meat on there - probably about a tablespoon. I brought this up and got a “thanks, we will let the kitchen know because we’ve changed our menu” but no more meat, no apology, no discount. Tasted alright and the side of beans was pretty good, but leaving hungry in search of meat. Proper stingy and not to be offered anything as way of correction is poor. Probably wouldn’t go back to Red Dog again if this is their new “menu” as it looks the same as the last time I went a few months back, so clearly they’re just cutting down on portions (as can be seen in the rest of these reviews) Scott McTominays scissor kick was the highlight of my visit. Super happy for the bloke.

Person who took our order seemed to be elsewhere, which was proved when we both received the wrong meals. She had gone home by this time, the server apologised and offered to get us the right ones but kept saying it would be a long wait. So we kept what we had and he reduced the bill. Had to keep reminding them we had refillable drinks too.

Maura was fantastic! They didn’t have a vegan burger on the menu (that wasn’t a bean burger) but she managed to coordinate with the kitchen to get me a Moving Mountains burger that they had in stock that wasn’t going to be officially on the menu for a couple of weeks! 10/10 service, very accommodating for vegans
