Always enjoyed good food and friendly, helpful staff whenever I visited F&B. Would always recommend, and the derby branch by Derby FC was very good

Generally a decent chain however my one experience at this branch was not the best with both food and service below par. I would however go back as the menu and location are ideal.

This is the 2nd time we’ve been here now, and Alex has been wonderful on both occasions, friendly and entertaining. We will definitely be coming often for our date nights!

Pros + Great service + Little waiting time + Never seems overcrowded + Clean Cons + Inconsistent quality of food for the price being paid We eat here regularly as we are local, sometimes the place can be delicious and 5 stars, other times it can be a 2 or a 3. Nothing is ever really terrible but for the price of the meals a bit more consistency would help for a higher score.

Had a lovely date night! Alex was incredibly welcoming and made the experience very enjoyable, fabulous customer service! Food was stunning and arrived very quick! Would highly recommend to others, will definitely be back for future date nights!

Not bad at all, popped in for dinner after a day out over the borders in Nottingham. Food, toilets, service all in good shape and nick. Atmosphere was a bit boring, no music, no crazy chefs and no mad waiters! Maybe next time pal 👍

Went for a birthday meal with family, having not been for a few years. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was very tasty. The choice for veggies was, like other places now, a bit small, but what there was was very nice

Jeremiah looked after us very carefully. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at F&Bs, at Pride Park.

Really poor execution, we usually visit in the past no issues, we entered the restaurant. I noticed only 1 waiter and I haven't seen him before. Not a busy morning at all. We were seated and another table who was seated after us were served before us, despite us being ready to order. strike 1. I let this slide... however we ordered a side and 2 main breakfasts. The one I wish to bring to your attention today is the " The Big one " English breakfast. I could barely hear what the waiter was saying looking to my partner for some clarity during the order. He seemed very quiet. Three times we asked to take the potato tots and crispy herb potatoes OFF the order and to replace with something else, to which he suggested toast, we agreed. In the end the waiter understood. He bought the plate over and then said " oh looks like they forgot to take the potato tots off...Do you want it? I said no please correct it. ( Why would you see that mistake and bring it to me? ) strike 2 He came back, and I looked at the bacon not only was i missing 1 rasher from 3 but it was shredded up, so not all in one rasher anymore. Then i looked to the eggs, they were over cooked, and solid. Then i looked at the extra toasts ( there were none ) regarding the item swap. Stike 3. YOUR OUT. At this point I felt fed up as my partners side arrived before her main. I asked for the bill on the drinks and the side, and to reject the two main breakfasts. The manger came over, a bit close for my comfort! I said hello she didn't introduce herself, but stated that she could get the order fixed in a few seconds? Rather then leaving. To which i said no youv'e ruined my day this is two times you couldn't get this order right forget it, i want to go so give me the bill.. she admitted she didn't know that it was two times they got the order wrong, and told me it was a communication issue. So what? it's my fault that i explained 3 times to your waiter to swap out an item is it ? TO which i told her i'm not arguing with you.. get me the bill! I don't want the food anymore. Safe to say it was poor quality and ANYONE can make a better fried egg then that at home. I don't pay good money for that! What an absolute let down. I went to a near by establishment not only did i get MORE Food for less price, but it all turned up at the same time as the sides and wasn't luke warm, and it was cooked far better with 3 full rashes of bacon. Okay they did forget my beans, but was fixed very quickly. Safe to say I think this establishment needs improving, on the quality of the food for the prices they are charging. And to work on getting the order correct. What is so hard to swap out an item? I looked at another guys " The big one " breakfast next table, that is what i wanted, his looked ok... mine looked like a rip off. Get a better chef, because I can honestly do better at home. Your competition beat you today on quality and price and portion sizes. I will return when times get better, because i know they can.

We were incredibly pleased with our recent visit to your Pride Park branch. The staff were lovely and friendly, the food was delicious and the service was amazing. We had a lovely date night and will definitely be returning with our family.

Great staff served us. Being next to Pride Park Stadium on a game day meant it was quite busy/ noisy. Food was good and ice cream perfect!

We asked for flat white coffee to be told no milk which was ridiculous in a restaurant that advertisers milkshakes. My meal I ordered was half rack of ribs which i thought looked less than half ribs,waiter said they had no coleslaw, he did ask me if I wanted onion rings but I don't eat them, the meal apart from the pizzas was overpriced the salad didn't look fresh, the place was nearly empty, I havnt been for a long time and won't be back it really needs to have a shake up. No one working there looked happy, just felt money down the drain ,it used to be a vibrant place with lovely 50 s music sadly it's all gone,we did get some money of our bill but it doesn't make up for what seems a place which could not last much longer if seats remain as empty as today

My daughter and I absolutely loved the service provided by Jeremie in Derby , he was very pleasant and friendly. He ensured our meals were ordered on time , he was available kept us up to date with our order. He provided quality service and made us feel comfortable. Hope to visit F&B regularly after this positive experience.

We went on a Saturday lunchtime and the place was fairly quiet so we were served quicky and the food didn't take long. We was a Party of 10 and decided to go for 3 x the Brooklyn bundles. For £29.95 per bundle. This consisted of a giant pizza , a generous amount of pasta , 2 portion of chips and 4 fizzy drinks. This was value for money . The waitress that served us was brilliant and really helpful. The pizza was the star of the show.

The food wasn't great, the meat tasted and looked off and I had to ask for an alternative as a replacement. The music was so noisy you couldn't hold a conversation. Not a great experience and won't be going back or recommending.

Too so long to order and drinks took half a hour to arrive from walking in. Another really long wait for food. Food was ok but lost the will to live after a point. What was supposed to be a quick tea ended up being more than 2hrs and we gave up on the idea of 2nd drinks and dessert. Poor waitress tried her absolute best but she was on her own! I think I've been to one before some years ago but will definitely be my last.

Didn't feel welcome. 😕 . Someone came up to the desk. At the front on arrival and threw 2 menus on a table and walked off. Server not very good. Poor communication skills. Not happy in his job! Food was all very good. Atmosphere okay. But prefered the old Frankie and Bennys.......

We were invited here to celebrate our son's 40th birthday. This was the first time we had visited Frankie & Benny's although we had visited the area and parked in the same place to visit sports direct, subway and the Derby Rams shop so were surprised to receive a rather large parking fine for visiting the restaurant. We immediately rang Frankie & Benny's when the fine arrived and they managed to get it cancelled. The food was poor and the service not very good, one of our party was given the wrong meal and had to wait until a replacement was cooked, which arrived after we had all ordered deserts. The restaurant was very quiet for a Saturday evening which doesn't look very good and had there been more people in goodness knows how they would have coped. I don't think anyone in our party will be visiting here again.

Now atmosphere was only under mark because my favourite area of seats it was freezing where we we're sitting.but atmosphere always got five from us food is fantastic hot chocolate my favourite always delicious frogie we haven't seen you in a while you're customer service is out standing if you still their hi from us all . Overheard the manager being rude to multiple delivery drivers that came to collect food during my visit. Even other staff members were shaking their heads and laughing in disbelief. One even made a point of apologising on the manager’s behalf. Pretty unfair considering they could well be customers themselves at some point. Just because they’re collecting/delivering food for someone else doesn’t mean you get to treat them like second class citizens. Shameful behaviour.

second time I've been here in a month, really lovely food, great value for money especially with my blue light discount card as F & B gives 20%discount which is a huge saving. The service is so, so welcoming & friendly, on both occasions, smiley staff, great food, quality food & service & fast service!!! our server asked us if all was OK, & if she could get us anything else at all. Could not fault this F & B's. second time I've chosen the New York calzone... beautiful, couldn't recommend highly enough. 👌 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Visited on Sunday afternoon. Not been for a while as the one local to me has closed down. Nice to see it's had a facelift and all looked very nice. Pizza and pasta were very tasty and will be back!

Really disappointed with our visit last night food was average. The service was okay but messy table surroundings. We found it was definitely not worth the money which made me very sad after being a big F&Bs fan.

The interior has been guttered and changed from the Italian Frankie & Bennys to a horrible grey colour and the price of the food is atrocious! £6.80 for a SLICE of cheesecake and £15:30 for a 10 inch pizza! The food was 7/10 and the atmosphere has changed because of the interior make over. The service was fine. 1 star because of the price of the food and drink and because of the interior make over.

The initial offer when downloading the App is very misleading. You have to order a main to get the garlic pizza bread. Sly i thought how that isnt clear whatsoever. The first blonde girl who served me coukdve been friendlier! The second blonde girl was so lovely she had her hair tied back and seemed like regular staff. I thought it was daft how my starter and main was bought out together. Starter comes at the 'start' and main should come after. Nice environment. Pleasant chilled atmosphere. Clean toilets.

The restaurant is next to the futball stadium. Our booking concided with the end of the match. They closed the roads and we were one hour late. They told to hurry and finish our meal and move to other tables if we wanted desserts. The knew of the problem and should have contactef us. Not very nice for a birthday party celebration.

Absolutely appalling service, the waitress was extremely rude ,we appreciate the fact that we were late due to the roads being closed off because of football traffic but she was very sharp with us and reminded us everytime she came to the table . It's was a count down ..remember you have to leave before 7.30 every 5mins , no smiles no I'm sorry . As a person that works in customer service and has done for that last 30 years , this level of service is unacceptable. We knew the situation we didn't need a constant reminder. Over 18 pounds for an opt service charge which we shouldn't of paid because it was disgusting, Ellie you need a lesson in diplomacy!

Good menu choices. Mine wasn't exactly special (chicken, cheese and ham, chips and pasta) but edible. Strange combo and dry as a result. Good friendly service. Very busy as a show was on at the arena. Would imagine it sways between packed and empty depending on arena and stadium use. So depending on where you are going afterwards book accordingly. Parking good but again may depend on above. Prices typical for this type of restaurant. Usual ripoff prices for wine. £20 for a very average bottle. Would I go back, yes, if going to a show afterwards. But it's not exactly my choice of location otherwise. But to be fair it's why it's there.

Think the waitress is deaf my wife ordered a prosecco and realise until we got the bill that she got the non alcoholic version. They got my order wrong as I ordered the classic dog but they gave me the dirty dog. I asked for it to be changed as I don't eat cheese

There seems to be a bit of inconsistency two identical items are served one is good and the other not so good. A lot of decorations have been stripped dosnt have the same atmosphere.

Delivery drivers park in the disabled bays making it difficult to visit for a wheelchair user also the button for the accessible door never works staff dont seam to care less about it gave it a 3rd chance and sadly wont be going back

Very poor experience eating here. Chicken was dry, chips were tasteless and burger had no flavour. Not sure what's happened with the interior rebrand either but it's now very plain and dull and matches the atmosphere. Music used to transport you to New York when you were eating there but the 1975 came on, hardly making it feel authentic. The menu was lacking compared to what it used to be and its also now very overpriced for some reason. Wouldn't be surprised if this place closes soon and we won't be returning before it does. Only positive was the service but presume it was good because the place was dead.

Honestly, my hopes weren't high - we hadn't been to a Frankie & Benny's for a decade or more, thinking the world had moved on - however it was my youngest son's choice. The staff were great - a seriously good understanding of the needs of a child with autism. The food was served incredibly speedily, and was surprisingly good. Four mains, four drinks, one garlic bread to share, one fries and one dessert = £90 (including tip). I'd recommend booking to avoid disappointment. Note: the website will offer you 'free garlic bread' if you provide your details. However the limitations (and reason why you don't qualify for free garlic bread) are hidden in the 9,000 word T&C's, which in turn are hidden behind a link in the footer of the email. So don't expect free garlic bread if your reservation is on the same day that you received the email.

The seating booths are so tightly packed in, the family behind us moved & we all felt it. I've knocked my knee & have a shiner coming up now. Food was average, I had mac N Cheese with a scant amount of bacon that is charged bonkers prices. Didn't bother with dessert, need some imagination in the menu.

Love the restaurant food was great The only thing I would say is that the background music was a little loud, making it a bit harder to have relaxed conversations with the family but also aware this is personal thing and wouldn't bother everyone and wouldn't stop me going back again

We are not happy with Ellie and how she was to serve us. We asked her if possible to transfer to the couch. while we were eating she took the plates without permission.

Very tasty loaded fries and good selection of drinks. Nice atmosphere really cosy and Christmassy and bar staff were friendly. Let down by how rushed the restaurant staff seemed. You'd ask a question and they'd answer and be off running again before you could confirm things, made me feel uncomfortable to ask to add things to order. But would come here again.

Bit pricey but maybe I'm getting old 😭 took the daughter and the granddaughters for an impromptu dinner. I was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. The only problem was the push button door opener for disabilities was not working but my daughter was there so not a problem for me today.

Daughter loves it - had the platter and not sure if a one off but the sirloin was insanely good like better than I've had at steak restaurants good??? We had a burger which I thought was dry so the universe has balanced.

Went for a mates birthday and everything was great. Got served almost immediately and food came out close after, dont think we waited even 15 minutes before everything came out. Waitress was efficient and quick but also kind. Place was really quiet which is not what we expected but honestly really worth it. Was quite expensive but not crazy dear, would definitely recommend going!

The food is amazing they have made the manu more simple and a great decision, myself and the wife just shared the BBQ platter and it was cooked so well, the steak cooked how I ordered. Would deffo recommend this.

Very disappointed, we were given kids menus but were then told we couldn't order the kids meals for our children aged just turned 13. Never had this at any other Frankie & Benny's. Definitely will not be going back. Service was dreadful. Food was OK. Not surprised so many of the restaurants are closing down.

None existent atmosphere, waitress with zero personality, food was ok (at best) . I would be surprised if this place is open for much longer. The staff really need switching up as that makes a real difference. Chef also needs to add flavour and work on presentation. Wouldn’t come again to the derby one

Nice to see the serving staff and the chefs having a laugh as well as working well with each other. Such a nice tonic to see people enjoying what they're doing. We had sirloin steak cooked to perfection medium rare then stayed for dessert tiramisu and apple crumble, delicious 😋

I've had better personality from a wet lettuce, staff looked miserable. Food was edible at best and not great value. Nothing like F&B used to be, completely lacks character.

Nice place, but maybe avoid when it's match day. The service was rushed, and the presentation was poor. Just looked like they had chucked a chicken burger on a plate and added a handful of chips. It's not too great for the price you pay. I've been quiet a few times, and normally, it's 5 star. Feel a little letdown. It's worth giving it a try, but don't go when Derby County FC is playing.
