Called in at about 4pm on a Tuesday. Only a few tables occupied so not at all busy. Ordered a garlic pizza bread with mozzarella and children's nuggets and chips. The garlic pizza bread was raw, raw dough !! The children's meal looked shocking and the chips were a horrid colour and overcooked. Dustpan and brush leant up against food serving area, robot needs a good scrub. Definelty one to avoid.

We were served by becky tonight she was absolutely lovely amazing service, credits to the chefs as the food was excellent aswell

I attended with a group of work friends on Sunday 21st July to my belated birthday celebration with a meal before bowling and it was a wonderful meal and a fantastic night the food was fantastic and a very special mention to the wonderful waitress Becky who served my group her excellent customer service made the night such a wonderful event I work in the industry myself so I know how tough of a job it can be but Becky is a real credit to the company and I had to thank her for everything all the staff were brilliant but Becky made it extra special and even took a photograph of my group as well she truly went above and beyond even when I asked if it was possible to play an ABBA song honestly such fantastic service I haven't visited Frankie & Benny's for a very long time but after tonight I will not leave it as long on my next visit.

My daughter chose to come here for food after the cinema for her 8th birthday, it was such a lovely experience. The minute we walked in the staff made us feel welcomed and went above and beyond to ensure my little girl had the best experience ever. Our server Micheal was great, amazing customer service and engaged loads with the kids making them laugh. The food and drinks were great, nice and hot. Definitely returning and will highly recommended Thank you to you all x

Terrible customer service, favour other customers that have come 10 mins after us. Didn’t bother to even order our drinks. Probably one of the worst Frankie and Benny’s I’ve ever been to.

We visited on Saturday, the 22nd of June and from the moment we were greeted and seated. It was a really good experience from top to bottom. The staff were very attentive and the food was delicious.

I do recall Frankie & Benny’s having slightly better pizza that does not resemble something that has come straight out of a microwave in the past. Could the cheese be any more rubbery? But then again, what can I expect from F&B’s. Possibly the worst ‘Italian’ chain there is! The waiters are ok. Apart from the robot waiter playing 3 lions at 100 volume. You can improve if you like but it does not matter to me as I will never return.

Great food, brilliant service and love the robot waiters. Shout out to Beth in particular for her excellent service, she went above and beyond.

Our whole experience was wonderful, the food was delicious, the atmosphere was relaxed, the timing was perfect, and last but not least, our server Fran, was wonderful, friendly and very professional :)

Shambolic. Such a disappointing experience that spoilt Fathers Day family get together. Booked a table for family breakfast at 10:15. Waiting forever for order to be taken, then drinks arrive 30 mins before food. Food arrives cold with pancakes inedible after an hour. A coffee was made with more vanilla than coffee - undrinkable. Wrong drinks bought. Hot drinks were tepid. Of 7 dishes 5 were inedible and two barely acceptable. It's hard to get family together and this was not how we wanted to spend our time. Manager was apologetic and cancelled the bill - which wasn't going to be paid anyway.

Shocking experience today. Booked and Went for breakfast, might as well call it lunch as waited an hour for drinks & to order food, then another hour for food to arrive. Nothing complicated just b.fast buns. No clean cutlery, got asked to share 1 spoon until they could get them washed!! Bar area absolutely piled high in dirty dishes, not creating a nice environment. The staff that were working just constantly apologising... felt embarrassed for them.

Last day in Chester of 4 nights and been here twice as we couldn’t help but come again! This time my partner had dirty hotdog which she throughly Injoyed but she did feel I could have been bigger portion but for the price lovley. highly recommend!! Especially if on a budget but was a nice meal out and was served by a Lovely waiter too.

Arrived and welcomed straight away shown to table, was not asked if we would like any drinks when seated, we then sat for nearly 15 minutes trying to get the attention of the restaurant staff but the two ladys were busy talking between themselves and did not acknowledge that we were still waiting for our order to be taken, as we looked around there were tables that had finished/finishing as we walked in and plates were still on the tables 10 minutes later, there was only 8-10 customers using the restaurant at the time. We ended up standing up and walking out. I have always had positive experiences at this restaurant but I was very disappointed today and very much doubt that I will return any time soon.

Our server, Mike I think his name was, was amazing! So friendly and interactive with the youngers. Honestly such a credit could not praise him enough from our hour and a half here he made it so enjoyable, doing everything he can to make our time here as great as possible and he succeeded! Thank you so much.

Waited about 15 minutes to be seated when there was lots of empty tables hubby's food had to get sent back as was cold, son's pizza was hard and as for the spag bol that was shocking very little sauce an hardly any meat never again

Was very disappointed with our meal. I had potato filled skins that were ok but very little cheese on them. My husband had chicken strips that were ok and probably the best starter. Main meal we both had lasagne. We have had this many times before but it has gone right down. There was hardly any mince meat in it. Was very sloppy with too much tomato and white sauce. The staff were very friendly. Our order was mixed up and we waited for garlic bread with our main meal that when it came was not cooked enough. Was soggy and not much garlic. Should have been crispy. Shame as it used to be so good.

Loved our server I think he is called Romualdo and his little robot helper made my day the robot was cute too

We are frequent visitors to Frankie & Bennys, the service we receive is always amazing. Special mention to the server Liz and one of the managers Fran, who are always accommodating to our lively little boy.

My grandson chose this restaurant as he likes the chicken nuggets and chips. It was my first visit but I was pleasantly surprised. The food was tasty, the restaurant clean and bright and the service was very good indeed. My only complaint would be the level of noise - but we were the oldest people there.

Everything about our visit was terrible and the poor servers get it in the neck because of lazy chefs who don't know how to cook food....my girlfriends chicken burger was definitely cooked the night before and zapped in the microwave....nothing about this place makes me want to go back so avoid at all costs

We visited here on Dec 30th for an evening meal with my family there were 8 of us in our group. We did not make a reservation as our trip was a spur of the moment day trip for my father's birthday, bowling etc, so we were not sure if we would be able to get a table. Firstly, our welcome was very warm and friendly and Francesca was wonderful she sat us all together as a family. The staff there couldn't do enough for us to be honest. Very attentive. Food was lovely not one single complaint from anyone in our party. Our waiter Kyle was excellent. I don't normally leave reviews but for this place I had too. We will re visit definitely. Thanks guys :)

We went for breakfast with the Grinch, food was ok first time we had a breakfast personalky I wouldn't eat breakfast here again. However I always come here monthly with my husband and 5 children and the evening meals are always beautiful. As a first time breakfast experience I can say it wasn't eggcelent 😆. The Grinch experience cost us £140 plus the standard 20percent tip we always leave. Whilst I admire the gent as the Grinch for getting involved we found like us another family were less than impressed the Grinch mask was terrifying for little kids. Yes he has to be mischievous but throwing a 4year old art work was a step too far. Maybe he should off been prepped on the fact he turns nice in the end. Whilst we were there a young boy just run riot, I'm all for fun but kids running round when people are carrying food is too much , paper being thrown in people's faces as they eat neither the mother nor the staff stopped this child. Which made our experience awful. Overpriced chaos. I would personally not recommend this to anyone. If your child is wild and older maybe.

Being unable to reach anyone at the restaurant further compounds the frustration. As a patron, I expected better standards and prompt resolution when facing such issues. This experience has left me deeply dissatisfied and concerned about the quality and safety of the food served. I hope for a swift and satisfactory response to address these concerns and prevent similar incidents in the future. Outwith the fact that this completely ruined our stay away, wasted money on hotel and dining, I will off course be contacting and reporting the restaurant to the food standards agency.

Food is great, but terrible service every time. We arrived at 11:30 am and they had randomly decided to stop breakfast early, when it should’ve been served till 12 noon. As it was my mum’s birthday, we decided to stay for a meal. There was only about five tables occupied with about 10 staff working. After ordering, we received the wrong food, they did correct this, but then forgot our drinks order. We had to go to the bar to remind our drinks haven’t arrived. They also missed items off the bill. Considering the restaurant was quite empty, we were surprised at the repeatedly bad service I wouldn’t like to see them perform when the restaurant is full.

The restaurant is very suitable for a family. They provide kid menu while the main menu is also attractive to teenagers. The staff are very helpful. One of them proactively offered separate dishes for our food sharing.

Came here for a breakfast after staying in a local hotel. Had to wait to be seated, didn't seem to be many staff around and waited for my drink order too which came almost the same time as the food. Ordered scrambled eggs and toast. The toast was nice and 2 large slices but the eggs were bland/tasteless and not much of them, also had pointless bits of greenery sprinkled on everything. Had to mix in some pepper and butter (from the little packets given for the toast) to give any flavour. Bland experience.

Probably the best frankies and bennies food I've ever had cooked. Great service. Our host/waitress beth was amazing and was really helpful with my partners nut allergy. Went above and beyond to ensure safety and service for us- needs recomendation. Chef hats.

Waited a few minutes to be seated one other family in the restaurant may I add. Recieved our order, garlic bread tasted like it had been made an hour prior, wasn’t asked how our meal was. Went outside for a cigarette left my phone and jumper at the table for the server to acknowledge that we hadn’t just left, I was stood facing the table we had been sat at whilst outside we saw the waiter throw her hands up in the air and then proceed to storm towards us and asked what we were doing. I overheard her saying to the bar staff that she thought we were going to run off. Me and my partner both look quite young (she’s 19, I’m 22) so I don’t know if she’s just assumed we weren’t going to pay due to age but it really is quite disappointing as we travel to this location from Blackpool. Frankie’s and bennys is our favourite restaurant we used to go Atleast twice a week before the one in Blackpool closed this is now the closest one to us. We often travel up just to visit this restaurant and have left feeling quite annoyed about this my partner doesn’t want to return as we feel like we have been completely discriminated against

Sat there for 20 minutes without being served. Waitress was too busy chatting to her mates and playing on her phone to pay attention the customers. There was multiple customers either waiting to be sat or served. The place only had about 4 tables in. Very disappointing, no wonder all the restaurants are shutting down if this is the level or service they employ.

Great choice on the menu. Fantastic desserts and cocktails. Good service and food came piping hot. Lovely clean restaurant and washrooms. My only gripe, please please one or two more meatballs in the linguine! 3 very small meatballs is not a good portion size.

If you have an allergy DO NOT EAT HERE. The restaurant was advised of my husband's allergy in advance as we had a group booking but didn't tell him the ingredients in his chosen meal contained alliums which triggered his allergy.

Always a great place to be the food is delicious although the pricing has gone up a little. The staff are friendly and the whole vibe is just chill and cool.

The service was good - hence the 2 stars rather than 1. The food was AWFUL. Came for breakfast and had poached eggs with avocado on muffins. One egg was under done but it was edible. The avocado was minimal but shockingly, it was fridge...

Not nearly as good as it used to be. Burgers had little flavour and cheese was melted so thin you could hardly see it. We weren't offered sauces with our meal. Waited so long to order kids desserts (part of the kids meal) had to leave without having them as had cinema tickets. I was also charged for the free refills.

As a mum of young children, I always get slight nervous going into restaurants. Some places sometimes see my children and say 'online bookings only'. This is definitely not one of those places. The kind ladies brought me highchairs, colouring books and crayons. They even moved the spare chairs and sat ne somewhere that could fit my pram in. Thank you for a lovely lunch.
