The place is fantastic! Never disappointed!

Great food, slight wait to be seated given the restaurant was empty, the server was nice and friendly. We ordered off the uptown downtown menu a starter and a main as this was a better deal. Other food off the main menu was expensive. Food; arrived hot and fresh. Starter cheesy garlic bread & chicken bites. Main A chicken BLT & a glazed burger both with house fries. Drinks; Ordered an Oreo milkshake and for £7.50 this wasn’t worth it and won’t get it again, we’ve had better milkshakes for cheaper. Also a refill Diet Coke. Overall it’s not bad for a special occasion. Would return but think there are better options for the same price.

Good stodge for a weekday lunch deal. Excellent service. Shame there was no “hot sauce” condiments available to spice up the pasta.

Great food and the staff were good but it was bloody cold... No heating in the building which they have put on the door as it seems to be an ongoing issue.

Ellie our server was very nice a accurate. Place was freezing food was average £50 or 2 courses two hot drinks 2 beers 2 people

Disappointed. We were sat on a table in the corner, right next to where they had all their cleaning supplies and cutlery laid out on the table next to us. Not exactly what you want to see whilst eating. Table was sticky and the bench I was sat on was dirty with bits of food over it that I had to wipe off myself before I could sit down. Food was okay, very small and bland considering the price of it! Our server was lovely and attentive however, other staff members were crowded round near us gossiping and talking quite loudly about things that we really didn’t want to hear. We paid £97 and I always always tip but absolutely not this time. Awful experience to be honest.

Booked table for 4.00pm, we arrived about 40 minutes early, no problem, seated right away. I had put we were there for our son’s birthday when I booked, ( he was 24😜). We went years ago for his birthday and I knew they do the happy birthday clapping song, so thought it would be fun to have this done again. I ask our server Hayley B if she could make it as embarrassing as possible. She didn’t disappoint, it was all done tongue in cheek and our son saw the funny side, he was asked his name/age and this was announced across the restaurant, followed by all the team joining in with wishing him a happy birthday. Great food, brilliant customer service and happy memories made. Thank you Hayley B and everyone else who made the birthday boy’s day extra special.

Food was the usual TGI stuff but service was good and the waitress really looked after us all.

Excellent and friendly service from Hayley B at Cheshire oaks branch Made sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond, making our dining experience one of a kind. It was cold due to the ongoing heating issue but her friendly face and charm made us forget about being chilly. Keep up the great work

Very disappointed!! AVOID I haven’t been to TGI for 10 years but while shopping we decided to call in for dinner on our way home.. BIG MISTAKE!! We stood at the entrance for a while before we were acknowledged.. The restaurant was cold we kept our coats on. The menu was very small and the prices were very high what I expect from a fine dining restaurant I eat out alot at good restaurants where we live in Knutsford so was very shocked at the prices.. salt and pepper squid to start £9.50 nothing like the picture small amount which was dry and hard as they had been deep fried for too long.. I ask for the manager and told him I wasn’t happy and he removed.. I had the chicken burger with fries £20 wow the chicken was burnt the bacon was advertised as crispy bacon lot looked like it hadn’t been cooked.. ends of lettuce was used and the same for my partner he had tomato ends and large pieces of red cabbage no care gone into the prep of salad.. my partner had steak with fries mushroom and tomorrow £29 both meals were served in small plates ?? WHY i never complained again as i will be calling head office in the morning.. RIP OFF

02/04/24. Food was very nice and the service was top draw. The Bartender was a master of his craft and his enthusiasm, personality and customer service made it a very enjoyable evening.

Dreadful place. Dirty, overpriced, table wasn't ready on time, had to ask for cutlery and condiments, food cold, manager didn't seem interested, beer flat, I could go on. Avoid if you want to have a nice dining experience!!

Great food and personal service

I ordered the fajitas from what appeared to be a very limited menu. They didn't have the cajun flavour as advertised and cost me £21 for less than a chicken breast and four microwaved mini tortillas. The bulk was a pile of onion and pepper. I mentioned it to the staff who agreed and kindly brought out more, but I won't be returning. Drastically overpriced rip off. My wife also had a mediocre burger that cost £19. Including drinks, I've parted with nearly £50. Save yourself a few quid and avoid.

Summer was our server and she was absolutely lovely. A credit to TGIs. Thank you Summer. The food was fab, music was great.

Poor service. Stood at the door for 5 mins. Server's avoiding eye contact. Got seated and the server was so obvious that she didnt have time for us. Got our food slid over to us again without eye contact as she was passing. Food was very poor in quality in comparison to the price. Luke warm chicken. Nachos stale. No check back to see if we was happy with our food. No further offer of a drink. The server came over after 40 mins and asked if everything was okay - probably due to seeing me writing this review over my shoulder when passing. Advised her about the food. She took the food and said I agree the food isnt as good as it should be. She never returned to offer more food or a new drinks even though our glasses where empty. On requesting to speak to the manger the server told us TGIS is not what it used to be and there is no staff. She also admitted the food was too expensive in comparison to the service quality ect. This was a meal for our anniversary and I appreciate that it was a busy bank holiday however quality of food and service shouldn't be compromised. We left hungry and thirsty. Good job there was a kfc next door!

Food was great! The JD glazed ribs were insane! Best ribs I’ve had for a long time! Ellie F was very busy but very attentive! Good cocktails and the kids were very happy with the make your own sundae’s for desert!

I had a great time here. Excellent for family dining and a few drinks. Warm and cosy interior and adequate parking. The staff are well trained and always helpful. I Should be back soon

Fab venue, food amazing, good music too but the service was 10/10! Ellie F made our visit, she was so attentive and especially kind to us and our little baby boy whos never eaten out at a restaurant before and Ellie brought us finger food and some purees for him and made a fuss of him too which was so nice :) gorgeous member of staff thanks sooo much x

Car park was empty when we arrived and ealisy accessible with prams and push chairs. We were seated immediately and were given menus. The toilets were clean to look at but were a bit smelly, after we ordered our food me and my wife noticed the staff staring at us for some reason that made us uncomfortable... the food was mediocre at best. Burgers were a bit bland and dripping with grease. Also the chicken burger was no more than half a chicken breast on a bun. Nothing really to shout about for us. Caught one member of staff staring at us a few times and it made the whole experience a bit awkward.... for me, for the price hickorys offer a better American dining experience for the same price... also the music was terrible and far too loud. Like being at a 7 years old birthday party.

Ellie F was excellent , great service , will definitely come again. Food was lovely and sauces is beautiful, back again soon.

The service from Ellie F was phenomenal and she made the entire group feel welcomed. The food itself was great and presented well. The other servers were equally fantastic when treating my friend for her birthday.

To wait in the door for 20 minutes and be ignored......no fanks

Went on Saturday night at 5pm and restaurant was about 1/4 full. Seated promptly but then we felt ignored by all the waiting staff. I waited 35 mins, got fed up and had to go and speak to the guy at front to ask him to get somebody to take our order, so he offered to come and take the order himself! He was great tbh. Very strange atmosphere... the waiting staff all seemed to not want to make eye contact and just looked miserable, we felt totally ignored. One particular young lady, with glasses. Looked at me and shook her head dismissively when I tried to get her attention. I was fuming. In the end we were waited on the whole time by the guy at the front of the restaurant!! Prices are extortionate for what you get. £38 for a mixed grill and £21 for a burger and fries. All mains £20 plus. We were meant to be celebrating something for my daughter and we had told the restaurant In advance yet nothing was organised. They knocked 25% off as a gesture which softened the blow a little. Eventually at the end a lad came over and we ordered 2x more drinks, he brings them over and turns to a female server and goes "just sorted their drinks, remember to add them on" - she snapped back - I'm not sorting it, somebody has been serving them all night and I don't know who it is"... (we werent charged for those extra drinks either which was nice) Shambles. Never again. Would of 100% walked out if i didn't think it would of upset my daughters.

Prices gone up a lot and food not as good as it used to be! Wasn’t given cutlery with starters! Don’t think we’d return again :/

After visiting a few times before, myself and a few family members decided to book a table for some dinner at 4:15 on Saturday (24/02/24) evening after a day out. We booked a table online and added that we needed a high chair too. When we arrived we were seated at a booth and despite asking for a high chair for my little boy again when we arrived, this was ignored. My brother-in-law spotted the pile of high chairs and brought one over and placed it at the end of our table. As we were looking at the menus a young gentleman came over and stated that our child could not sit in the high chair at the end of the table as it was a health and safety risk incase of fire. Of course we understood this so asked where we could sit instead as we had booked in advance stating that we had a child that would need the high chair. He then stated that he’s just doing his job but all the other tables in the restaurant were booked so we would have to leave. My husband proceeded to take our little boy out of the high chair so we could leave when the young man reached over and snatched the cutlery my little boy had out of his hands. My husband then said, ‘excuse me don’t snatch off of a young child’ when the young man proceeded to shout ‘it’s a knife’ (a butter knife type) and then proceeded to try and snatch the fork too. As we were walking out he continued to shout to us that he was doing his job which caused everybody to stare over and it made quite the scene. If he had come over and politely explained the situation to us and had not been so rude towards my family I should have not felt the need to write this review. I will absolutely not ever visit here again and I will warn others of our experience.

Don't waste your time did nothing but wait around over half hour before we was even asked if we wanted a drink I'd say the place was a quarter full at best, our order was wrong and what arrived wasent nice dried out meat that wasn't that hot I asked for the bill and the guy brought my receipt and when I wanted to pay it was too much trouble for him to move 3 feet to grab the card reader and let me make a payment won't be wasting over £70 in here again

First time going to tgi Fridays and I've got nothing but bad things to say. The food was disgusting and the service was abdominal, server dropping things then slagging off her colleagues because they were the ones doing a bad job apparently. 75 quid for 2 meals and 2 drinks. 10/10 would not return

Starters were nice , we didn't get any cutlery , we asked one waitress for them who was our server and she carried on walking and said "they'll get it in abit". The mains were disgusting, bland fajitas , cold fried and veg that should be charred was more like boiled onion, no seasoning at all, no salsa at all either. My fiance's wings had feather roots on them, absolutely disgusting, the nachos she had also had no salsa and again were cold. The manager refuded us the mains as we didn't eat them, the prices at this place are also ridiculous, £38 for a mixed grill or £20 for a burger and fries. It's Ellesmere port not London. £4.50 for a small bottle of Fanta and £6.25 for a poor flat lager. The only 2 good things about the experience was our starters and our server , I didn't catch her name but she was very polite , very helpful and pleasant. Can't see this place staying open if it maintains these levels of price and food standards. We wouldn't recommend.

Food was still tasty but the portions are getting smaller and the prices keep rising. The nachos were really poor and to make eating them more difficult, they put them on paper. Known for their cocktails, we have been massive fans of this restaurant for years. Unfortunately, the quality of their cocktails have become poorer every time we have visited over the last 3 or 4 times. No , mint, no cherries, no 7year old rum for the upgraded mojitos that we have loved up until recently. The strawberry daiquiri’s were tasteless. Our waitress Antonia was great tonight. Really pleasant and attentive. Shame the quality and quantity leaves us de icing whether we return.

Great place for birthday celebrations

Waited 5 to 10 minutes for someone to show us to our seat even though we were booked in. Ribs/chips came out luke warm and reminded me of precooked warmed up food. Food was way overpriced for the food we received. I always give any resteraunt a chance before making a decision to return. Sadly I won't be returning as not value for money and food was local pub standard.

I came here tonight 22/2/24 for my son’s 12 birthday with both my boys. Hayley our server was amazing she couldn’t do enough for us. From the minute we sat down to the minute we left. Shes a credit to the store. We will defo be back again soon xx

Surley young man on reception when he finally showed after five minutes standing at the desk being ignored. He needs to ask for a refund from the Charm School. Wings did not arrive. Ribs were barely warm. £52 for two racks of ribs and two soft drinks. Call that VFM?. I don't. There is a Pub and a KFC next door that would probably be a better option. One bright note, the lady who served us was delightful.

Meal booked for 2 at 7pm. Sat us quickly but then took ages to take order and even longer for the good to come. Waiter did adjust our bill as compensation. Didn't bother with desserts due to wait for mains. Was ok. Wouldn't rush back.

Abysmal food dreadfully overpriced. Approx 17 bite sized pieces of chicken for £17. With just a lick of Franks hot sauce they had been kept warm in the kitchen for some time and were served with stale, limp salad instead of the advertised celery. Washed down with two 1/2 pint glasses of diet coke @ £7.80. I wouldn't eat here again if you paid me. After leaving I bought a £1.69 wrap from Maccies which contained fresh fried chicken of much higher quality along with crisp fresh salad and lashings of sweet chilli sauce. I have no idea how this excuse for a restaurant survives.

Cold room. Toilets need updating and checking more regularly- no hand soap or tissue paper when visited.

Shocking food, 5 chicken nuggets socked in hot sauce came very cold. Kids chicken burger was like a pice of stone it was so hard. The toilets are disgusting, not great with 3 Kids.

Over priced... food is okay but ver small portions (burger was like a kids burger) but you get far more bang for your buck elsewhere.

Got served by Hayley B on a busy Saturday night, she was ever so lovely and always had a smile on her face no matter where she was in the restaurant! The only person that night that actually seemed to enjoy their job… everyone else seemed very miserable…Hayley was very attentive always apologised for the wait when she never needed to and overall was an amazing waitress and exerted positive energy around the restaurant to every table she served, she deserves a much needed raise :)

We visited this evening. Hayley B you are a star! Made us giggle, were attentive & most importantly made us feel welcome, nothing seemed to much to ask, not even the card machine 😉 the rating doesnt reflect you at all, you deserve 6 stars! The 3 stars is for the food. Prices have gone up, which seems quite steep from what they were, chips were stone cold, my dad paid near enough £30 for a full rack of ribs, got a tiny pot of coleslaw & glaze, small piece of corn & cold chips. My dad had finished the ribs before the fresh chips arrived. Was a max of 5 tables occupied so wasnt busy. Not sure if we will return. We used to love going to tgis, just not the same this time round.

My auntie was celebrating her birthday with some friends. Food was delicious and she was over the moon when they brought out a piece of birthday cake and sang happy birthday to her.

Fajitas came on a sizzle plate and were definitely not sizzling or very flavoursome! Cocktails just full of ice and only two types of larger which we both not good. Went to the toilet and there was no toilet paper or hand wash - shocking. Given cutlery a few minutes after the meal arrived, which had old dried food on them. Very over priced when comparing to most similar places for food and definitely drink. Had to chase the bill after we finished our meal as noone came to clear plates, ask if everything was okay or if we needed anything else.

Ellie was lovely very quick service. Refilled drinks and was very friendly. Made lots of fuss of the baby next to us and gave us recommendations. Asked how our day was and interacted at the end.

Joanne served us and quickly picked up on my daughter’s struggles. She has Autism and ADHD so going out can be a battle. Joanne was great put her at ease and we enjoyed a nice family meal. Highly recommend

Food was not plentiful for the price, I had a new york strip steak, it was supposed to be medium rare, but came medium well. I ate it but didn't enjoy it. The only good thing was, I have a blue light card so got 20% off, £122.50 reduced to £96.50. We won't be going back.

Come for a family meal on Christmas eve. Food was ok but felt portion size could be a bit better. The drinks prices were extortionate, 4.50 for a can of Dr pepper was ridiculous, and the service was real slow.
