We were made to feel so welcome from start to finish. Joanne was our server and nothing was too much trouble for her. We decided on the bottomless chicken fillets and it did not disappoint. Great value for the money if you want a tasty chicken fix.

The staff in this restaurant are some of the best I have come across, making sure everything was alright with the food and refilling our drinks. I would say that the food is a little on the expensive side for the size of the portions but it is tasty and well presented.

I was very disappointed with the experience at this TGI Fridays today. First, the atmosphere was far from welcoming. The place was messy, with tissues scattered on the floor in a makeshift attempt to block a draft/flood coming from the back door. Despite this, it was still quite chilly and I had to keep my jacket on throughout the meal, even though I was wearing a long-sleeve top. To make matters worse, there were cobwebs visible on the ceiling above our table, adding to the overall sense of neglect. Service was another major letdown. We waited over an hour for our food and it became apparent that the staff had completely forgotten about our table. Diners who arrived after us were served first, yet there was no acknowledgment or apology for the delay, even after we raised the issue multiple times with the staff. This lack of communication and accountability was very frustrating. When the food finally arrived, it was lukewarm. My starter (mac and cheese) and main (sesame chicken strips with chips) were both disappointing. The chicken wasn’t even cut into strips, was overcooked to the point where the coating was hard, and lacked sesame seeds as advertised. Pieces at the bottom were also poorly coated in sauce. The cleanliness of the facilities (both ladies and gents’) was similarly poor with tissues scattered everywhere and the loos being dirty. Overall, this visit was a major disappointment. From the messy environment and poor service to the lackluster food and untidy restrooms, the Cheshire Oaks TGI failed on pretty much every front. Needless to say, I won’t be returning to this branch and I wouldn’t recommend it to others. It’s massively overpriced/definitely not worth it.

I visited TGI Fridays on Friday 3rd January, arriving before 16:00. We were seated promptly as the restaurant wasn’t busy, but we were placed in a corner where there was a noticeable draft. This was awkwardly blocked by a damp tissue, which did little to make the seating comfortable. We placed our order shortly after being seated, but after waiting 45 minutes with melted ice in our drinks, we noticed several new tables receiving their food. We asked a nearby waiter for an update on our order, but were told, “I’ll ask your waiter as I don’t know your order.” There was no apology or recognition of the delay. Two of us eventually received lukewarm starters, which seemed to have been completely forgotten about, while the other three of us were left waiting without even cutlery. After a full hour, our food arrived – hurriedly prepared with burnt edges. When we mentioned the hour-long wait, there was no apology or attempt to acknowledge the issue. Overall, the service was poor, the food was disappointing, and the lack of customer care was frustrating. A truly disappointing experience, made worse by the uncomfortable seating and neglectful service.

Really disappointed! Please don’t order the garlic fries unless you want fries drowning in garlic butter. We were expecting fries with pieces of garlic or garlic salt, not a pool of butter and soggy fries. The corn dogs were good however too small for the price. The cheese donuts didn’t contain much cheese and were also way over priced when you get 5 for nearly £10. Overpriced and not worth the hype!

I was extremely disappointed with the substandard meal and, more significantly, the unacceptable level of service. Despite the restaurant not being overly busy, numerous tables remained unclean, and the floor was littered with debris. Following our order for starters and main courses, drinks arrived promptly; however, subsequent drink requests were overlooked. Furthermore, cutlery was absent, and requests for sauce required repeated prompting. Our meal was unsatisfactory; we departed without consuming our beverages due to the unacceptable quality of the food, which was excessively greasy and overcooked. I would not recommend this TGI Fridays. Mon 30th Dec at 16.40pm.

Just finished the most wonderful bottomless brunch here. The food was beautiful and the service was second to none. Joanne was a fantastic host and went above and beyond. Nothing was too much trouble. Had a fabulous boxing day celebrating here. Thank you so much. Will definitely be back xx

The food was good but it was extremely expensive, last time I went to TGI’s it wasn’t as bad? The menu has also completely changed and no longer has as many options at all

Great place, Foods a 4 what you expect it's always good quality and well prepared. Service is 10/10 Jake the first time was amazing honestly couldn't of done any better. The 2nd time was just as good unfortunately I've forgotten the servers name but she was loverly. Atmosphere was a 3 due to it not being very busy but that could also be a plus. Music is always popping i do think the restaurant could use a decor and seating update.

Been coming here for years and it gets worse every time I visit. Booked a table for my 5 year olds birthday, and poor is an understatement. Ordered some drinks including a milkshake and after it was made, was informed there are no straws….. so they brought out a spoon? Asked for some coloring for my daughter…. After the third time of asking, they put pencils on the table and nothing to color on? Went to the toilet and no toilet paper in any of the cubicles. Ordered strawberry ice cream, and you guessed it, no strawberry ice cream. The mains we did order were ok at best, the lady serving us was good to be honest, but then she went home. Asked for the bill and the price was a surprise, then we realized we were charged for items we didn’t have drinks, and food! Spoke to a Jamaican lad who didn’t seem to understand a word we were saying, and came back and said he had taken £3 off, at this point we just wanted to go home so paid the bill even though the extra items totaled over £10 extra!!! Absolute joke, avoid!!!

Food was delicious as always, and there Christmas drinks are so worthwhile! Kieran was really lovely and helpful, what a great experience.

Not what I've come to expect from a Fridays. The food was ok. High prices but no flair from the staff as it used to be. Our waitress was great but the atmosphere lacked the usual Fridays fun.

Updated review (November 2024) I've been here a few times since my last review, but this time was the most disappointing time. The Fridays sesame chicken strip portions were smaller, now not including any salad, which I thought paired lovely with it, so straight away the starters were disappointing. The seating by the door is very draughty, so just make sure you don't make the mistake that we did. Prices. The menu has gone up a lot. The 2 for 1 on cocktails is a load of rubbish, they just massively inflate the price of the cocktails to compensate. Won't be in a rush to return back, as the value for money wasn't very good. ****************************************************************** ***This below is an old review from 5 years ago*** We went there on Saturday for my sisters birthday meal. I had booked the table appropriately 2 weeks in advance. When we arrived we did have to wait about 10 minutes for them to clear the table and prep it for us, but that wasn't an issue really. The waitress that served us had a lovely attitude and seemed very good at her job. The food was brilliant. There was 7 of us that went (nobody ordered alcohol) and the bill came to about £205 7 x starters 7 x mains 7 x unlimited refill drinks 2 x side orders It came to about £30 per head, but the service was great, the food was lovely and I will definitely be returning here. We were served by a lady called Chloe L. She was brilliant!

We went there last Saturday for my husbands 60th birthday. Table was booked and not ready when we arrived it was cold in there server was lovely but it was a very expensive night. We love their chicken starter but even that didn't come with a bit of side salad 😕 we were told it's the cost of living!! Really.. basic food no coleslaw with the ribs and chips just red cabbage in a small pot!!!! 4 people 4 starters 1 cocktail 3 diet cokes 4 mains 2 measley sides £194!!!! Wasn't worth it and won't be going back ever again. It will be Hickory's next time....

Waitress Joanne gave us QR codes and asked for reviews. Decidedly average visit. Got what we ordered , server was pleasant. Excellent vegan selection was our reason for visiting.

Can not fault the service we recieved here. The staff were lovely. The building itself needs some work though! Inside looked old. The top of my seat wasn't actually stuck down so slid off! Didn't stop me eating though! Walls need a repaint, fixtures need to be updated so they don't look over used. We enjoyed our meal though very much

Ellie was absolutely outstanding, from the minute we walked in she not only celebrated my son’s 11th birthday but congratulated me on actually giving birth. She had great knowledge of the offers and food. Her service was flawless and nothing was too much for her. Will definitely return if we’re greeted by such a wonderful member of staff! Restaurant forgot to add sauces into delivery bags, even worse considering we actually purchased them and not just ones part of the meal. Then had to drive and collect them, either that or have dry chicken. Even then there was no apology, no compensation for the inconvenience and even then managed to not put all the sauces purchased in the bag they gave me. Pathetic.

Great food, love going here for a burger or sesame chicken. Only downsides is that it's a little pricey (£20 for sesame chicken? And i think cheapest burger meal was about £16) and the staff weren't very attentive with our refillable drinks, hard to track them down.

Went hear for dinner after shopping at cheshire oaks, would not recommend thos place to anyone dirty tables and seating was the same food wasn't anything special for the price also some of the chicken was a bit cold, definitely one of the dirtiest TGI we have been to this has put us off TGI in general now.

Food was nice, just realised expensive for what it was, steak was nice but nothing special at all not much flavour. And I think £4.30 for a standard 330ml can of Dr pepper is a new record for me, highest priced can of pop I've ever found 👏 Don't think I will be back, food quality really doesn't reflect the price Although staff were helpful, friendly and patient

We visited at 5pm and was very quiet. Staff was very good even though they had no straws for the non alcoholic cocktails, which was quite tasteless practically no fruit 1/4 of a strawberry as an example. Food was served hot, but chips were dry, hardly any cheese on the nachos

Shocking. Booked a table, kept waiting in the bar for 20 mins whilst walk ins are seated. Whole place is run down. Food is okay but service is non existent. Knives and forks dumped into the middle of the table. Ignored for 20 mins once meals finished. Feels like a ship with no captain. Wouldn’t mind but everything on the menu is so expensive it’s not unreasonable to expect half decent service.

We had a great meal here Staff were warm and friendly. Couldn't get better service. The baby back ribs with their own glaze were gorgeous.

Slightly disappointed with the most recent visit after coming here a few times in the past and it was always great. Seems over priced compared to similar style restaurants, food was okay. Chicken fajatis has no spice and chargilled chicken. The onions and peppers seemed reheated from frozen, not fresh. Service was okay, not as intentive as previous visits but friendly. Loud music playing which seemed out of place on a Sunday afternoon. Seems to of gone downhill in all aspects.

Amazing staff I have a neurological disorder they found me a quiet corner to sit so I was more comfortable, the member of staff my wife spoke first of all explained to our waitress who was amazingly helpful and understanding when she came over. Can’t recommend the staff more and the food was very good

Food getting worst and the sizes are getting smaller. Spent over £80 and still a few hours laster my son is hungry again. The smash burger my daughter got for nearly £20 was not worth it could got better from five guys and it be bigger. The mozzarella sticks the what hell size of fish fingers and only got 6 for nearly £10. We've been coming here for years and in the last year it self has got worst and worst. Dirty sticky tables, staff over worked and poor value for food. I don't think we'll be back unless something done rather go hickorys for the same money and get better service and value.

We arrived here on Tuesday evening for a special birthday meal for our daughter’s 7th birthday. Very friendly welcome and was seated immediately. However, this was unfortunately the best and only good part of our experience that evening. We firstly ordered drinks whilst looking over the extremely overpriced menu! We have been to TGI’s before and feel that it’s never been quite this expensive. Our starters came which we were enjoying however we hadn’t finished them when we there then being served with our main meals. It would have been nice for us to have been allowed to finish our starters and have our plates cleared away before having our main meals. We ordered another round of drinks with our mains which we had to ask for twice and our side dishes didn’t come out so we had to ask for these too. After we had finished eating, we ordered deserts. Whilst the kids were enjoying their deserts they then brought our daughters cake out which the candles had burned out and sang happy birthday. It would have been nice for the kids to have been able to finish their deserts first and for the table to have been cleared before being presented with the cake. It just felt like the staff were rushing us all night to get us out of there so that they could finish work and go home! No sooner had the cake been brought out, the waitress slid the bill next to my partner whilst again we were still eating! We might of wanted to order another round of drinks but obviously they wanted us to pay the bill and leave instead. It was Tuesday evening, wasn’t busy but yet felt like we were being rushed out. Overall, a very very disappointing visit here! We were really looking forward to this celebration and family time with the kids but it really did put a dampener on the night and to be honest we would never eat here again! How can you justify your prices for such mediocre food and poor customer service? We could of eaten at a more upmarket restaurant for half the price! And will be doing so next time! I would never recommend TGI’s to anyone. It is no surprise to me now why so many of your restaurants are closing down. Will not be returning ever again.

The food was cold congealed and my order wasn't there

Our first visit was great, a definitely get back to place so we did. The quality went really doen and prices high since last visit. Sticky tables, sticky seats. The idea and concept is great, the food was ok but not as special as before.

Going to attempt to make this review as fast, informative and helpful as possible. Decent place. The burgers are good, but they are not filling enough. The chip portions are too small (remember, the pricing for all of this is relatively high for what it is, it's almost a joke) It's around £15-£20 for 1 burger, which isn't even that good. Burger King has better value, and I don't really like that place. The staff were friendly and helpful, but again, pricing isn't great for the products there. The pudding was ok, but again, portion sizes are small for the pricing.

Really nice food, servers/staff were lovely and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and were happy to advise on the menu and their recommendations. Had mocktails and were worth trying for a change.

Why is nearly everything spicy? Not everyone appreciates. We always book a table via the app after visiting one time, early evening, to be told no available tables when the restaurant was over half empty. We were told it was in case they got bookings via the app! We went outside, & used the app to book a table for approx 15 mins after the current time! What a waste of potential custom! Turning walk-ins away in case they might get an online booking! But service as good as usual, food good

Went for a birthday. Was served by Ellie who provided a fantastic, funny, genuine service. Honest recommendations. Interest in our day/plans. Food is always great - over priced but you know what you’re getting when you go! The service made up for the food

The food was nice enough but my god the prices are so high since we last went! £21 for chicken strips and chips is absolute madness! Nearly £40 for a mixed grill?! Can't see how it's still going with all the other competition on the retail park.

Great choice of food and drinks for all the family Out server was Ellie and she couldn't do enough for us. Any problems with the order were dealt with quickly and efficiently. The restaurant has plenty of free parking and as we were earlier than the rush the food arrived quickly.

Visited TGIs for my daughters 18th Birthday Lunch. We were welcomed and served by Ellie F. I managed to have a quiet word and said it was my daughters birthday and Ellie said she would sort something out. Meal was fab as always, yes it is a bit expensive but it's a firm favourite for everyone in my family so we don't mind treating ourselves, knowing everyone is going to enjoy it. Ellie was attentive and friendly but gave time and space between courses and was on hand for refills of drinks. At the end, she brought out a slice of cake with a candle - my daughter was rather embarrassed but very appreciative of the gesture. Thanks for an enjoyable lunch experience!

What an absolutely terrible experience. Arrived for a booking. The women on the front desk was so rude, made us wait for the table telling us it’s getting clean. Nobody came back for us I ended up going back in. She put us on a table that was there the whole time. Asked for a booth, she started making a big issue, even tho I requested one due to having a back problem when booking. Got completely ignored had to ask someone if we could order, finally the same women came back over after standing around on her phone for a bit. Asked what we wanted, didn’t write anything down and walked of, has us waiting around that long me and my partner thought I’m not paying for this. Told her we’re gonna leave, she just said ok and walked super rude disgusting attitude, actually fuming I was treated like this with my partner went to kfc next door and got 100% super service and fast I would never tell anyone to visit this tgi the women on the front is a disgrace to them

I don't know what happened to this place. Used to come here alot with friends, been about 3 years since I've been. Came for my fiancé's birthday and was really disappointed. The music was quite loud which meant EVERYONE in there was shouting over it to be heard, when we were sat down we couldn't hear the waitress talking to us. The food used to be lovely, we'd usually get a nice steak with chips and onions rings n some of that chutney stuff...my friend used to call it the JD sauce but I never actually heard if it did have JD init...anyway you'd get a decent sized plate of food. Never any complaints. So we went there yesterday, only 1 (maybe 2) steak(s) on the menu both had blue cheese, my fella ordered a mixed grill thing where u usually get a load of stuff on a plate...she brought it over an all there was was a steak and a few little tomatoes one a plate and another plate with chips n a spicy cheese sauce 🤨 for £30!! I had a burger and chips around £20odd literally just a few chips and a burger.....cost of £90 with drinks and 1 dessert.....so not worth it.

Hard to rate this. (I will point out all issues where ‘resolved’ in store but would like to warn others) We have just left here after what started off a the most under whelming experience ever we were a party with 4 children 2 adults for a birthday meal, we had stated birthday meal yet placed right next to the door on a rubbish table also with a child on crutches. 25 minutes before first drink orders where taken, the blonde girl literally couldn’t give two hoots about our table. most likely fed up of being treated like robots. There was a LOVELY young man you know who you are who was a runner who took time to listen to my problems ‘no check back, no second drinks offered etc’ and apologised, complimented me for being so nice about it all, I then got some impression he was told not to come over again I made the point of going up to him to tip him for his kindness, our second waitress was lovely and understood our issues and helped us have a better experience. The manager from what we learnt was new and did discount our bill which isn’t something we needed and made sure to tip the people who deserved it to the same amount. however it felt scripted. A bit of advice treat your staff with nothing but compassion, they work hard, your clearly understaffed, try recruiting until you’ve got it back under control as it’s not fare to have staff run of there feet, feeling like they can’t stop and talk to customers and understand there problems and speak to people as humans rather than a scripted version planned in your head. we appreciate the discount we got, but honestly this used to be our go to place for birthdays but clearly not anymore. look after those staff or everyone of them is going to walk out that door sooner rather than later. Don’t worry about responding we don’t need it but just putting. Message out there to warn others about the situation.

Staff can’t be bothered to take orders. You’re left waiting once seated for about 15 minutes before someone even bothers to speak to you. Food is rubbish compared to others we’ve been too. Don’t waste your money here.

I’d recommend getting in a sloth from Chester zoo to replace the girl at front of house, probably get more of a smile and won’t walk away after tossing the menus down on the table and not guide you through anything. The lad with the beard who took our order was nice and was very helpful. It’s been a while since I’ve been to a TGI’s and this place has more wear n tear to the decor than a run down council estate flat. Let’s not talk about the ‘artwork’.

Very similar views on here. Expensive food, friendly staff, work hard, little bit of waiting for service. Place needs decorating looks run down for an expensive diner with wall paper hanging off and kids colouring on the walls. Company needs to put some profits into the place. Overall, nice but expensive. Probably won't be rushing back here for a while.

The children enjoyed the wing starter . The "salad" was something else . Old and without taste or salad. 2 little gem lettuce cut in half , don't know if they were washed. Red onion vinaigrette, boiled egg and a scatter of unidentifiable bits. Staff were lovely

The restaurant staff was fantastic and cleanliness is superb but I decided to eat the starters only. I couldn't justify paying £18 for a burger meal which I could buy for a cheaper price elsewhere, presumably maybe for a lower quality, but very steep for what presumably looked like a small portion. I may return in the future if I manage to find discounts or offers that could justify my next visit.

Okay, everything apart from the price was good. The prices though were high, pretty much £20 as a standard for most meals. A £20 burger, really? Desserts were £10 each, and not exactly large portions. Good as a one off, but make sure you're feeling flush.

Waiter didn't no what he was doing waited over 45 mins to get a drink then not all brought out food order omg waited so long booked a table for 6.30 never got out till 10.15 meals were wrong ordered 3 starters of chicken and 3 side of loaded frys came as 3 chicken chips and was charged for 3 mains and extra for loaded frys asked for no chilli makes my lips blisters and burn told waiter so he brought me nachos out with chilli in I'm now left with blister in side my mouth been coming tgis for years this experience has put me off coming again asked for my bill to a small lady with blond have was so rude was terrible

Food was fairly good other than one of our party received the wrong food twice. Service was ok although a little slow. But the place lacked atmosphere with very few people in the restaurant which I think is mainly down to the prices ,as an example I had what was basically chicken and chips and it was over £20. With a KFC next door you can see why many people would simply go there especially if you had children.

Terrible food, seems to be cooked from frozen..not worth even half of the cost. Service was good but had to wait a while to be seated. Tables are cramped not enough foot room and not enough space to see what was under the table but was very crunchy and dirty underfoot🤢. Whole place needs redecorating and refurbishing, graffiti keyed into the table. Won't be returning anytime soon.

Previously rated this place as a four star but after going last night for the first time in awhile it's dropped to a one, would give none if I could. Waited to be seated dispite several staff milling about, felt like it was a chore for one of them to approach us. Table, seats and side panelling all dirty, wall looks like it hadn't been cleaned in ages with crud between the tounge and groove and splatters everywhere. Food was bland and well overpriced for what we received.Sharing platter starter brought with no side plates for bones or to eat from. Definitely will not be returning, used to be good here but not anymore.

The food wasn't very special. We walked in and no one was at the "wait here" station so we approached the bar. I spoke to a chap behind the bar telling him I had a table booked. He replied with "Forrr.....?" For today, I said. It was an unpleasant encounter and he made us feel awkward.

Food too expensive for what it is, staff where amazing, and it was too noisy .

TGI is supposed to be a meat place..over the years the menu is reduced and over 50% if for non meat eaters. I will not be back

Ellie F was a great waitress with great customer service very friendly, she was extremely helpful and was always on top if we needed refills on the drinks :)

We recently had the pleasure of dining at TGI Fridays and was fortunate enough to be served by Hayley. From the moment we arrived, Hayley B’s warm and welcoming demeanor set a positive tone for the entire meal. She was attentive without being overbearing, ensuring that all our needs were met promptly and with a smile. We decided to try the beef steak and classic ribs, accompanied by sweet potato fries and regular potato fries. The beef steak was cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful, while the classic ribs were succulent and fell right off the bone. The sweet potato fries were absolutely delicious, providing a perfect balance of sweetness and crispiness, and the regular potato fries were equally satisfying. The food was outstanding. Hayley B is a true asset to the TGI Fridays team, and we look forward to our next visit! Thank You for making our day memorable.

I had a very bad experience today at Fridays. Went there because I was very hungry and wanted to get something to eat. I ordered a burger but it came with bacon (I don't eat bacon) so I asked the staff to remake it. They offered to remake it but wanted to charge me once again for it. Never have I seen restaurants charging customers for a remake. I myself work at a restaurant and we do our best to ensure customer satisfaction. Many a times at my restaurant, customers change their mind about their orders and we always politely accept their request without charging them anything. I ended up paying for a burger I never took a bite of as I did not want to argue or anything. I am deeply disappointed at my first and last ever visit to Fridays.

I had a lovely birthday meal with my family with great food and attentive staff
