Attended Thurs 15th Aug with family and was pretty shocked as this was the dirtiest five guys we have unfortunately come across.. Food and debris/food wrappers under almost every table, tables weren't cleared whilst we were there for 45 mins even though the restaurant was very quiet with roughly 4 staff at the back. My 9 year year old didn't even want to stay, such a shame as as a whole we do like five guys, just won't be visting this particular location again.

Beat five guys I have been to. Food is quick never burned always a good standard.

On a rare kid free date night with my better half and we popped in for some fries before a midnight flick and we were given the best service from Elliot and Marshall, they were a total credit to Five Guys and we would be back just because of them! Thank you lads

Came with my family today for the first time. Never been before. Was quite busy for a Sunday afternoon. Food was delicious nice and hot and fresh. The guy taking the order was bery helpful explaining the burgers come plane and you pick your free topping. Enjoyable first experience.

Great service and great food. The lads on shift at 8:30, July 21st should be commended, they were very kind and helpful. Will be returning!

Nice change to have a meal with reasonable portions and amazing burgers with free extras on your chosen burger, chips with the skin on are out of this world plus free refills on your chosen drink, with plenty of free parking, welcome stop.

Pricey to say the least ( £20 for a burger, fries & milkshake ) BUT it really is nice 🙂 ultimately if you want quality you have to pay for it!

Delicious. Can't fault it. Juicy meat, endless fries and fast service. Highly recommend this place. Shakes are next level.

Went with grandchildren. 3 milkshakes nearly £18. Noisy environment as wooden tables clattering on tiled floor. Didn't have any food but it is served in a bag with burgers served in what looks like tin foil. I just don't get it as it reminds me of a 1960/70s works canteen. Clean but basic but very very expensive for an experience like MacDonalds. Can't see it being there long

Ordered a hamburger, got cheeseburger, allergic to milk complete wasted time and money. Chips undercooked… no one answers the phone.

If you frequent any Five Guys then this as per the norm and how it should be, despite the pricey part, burger are always well cooked, seasoned etc.. with the large selection of toppings available, always a tasty burger served hot, personally I'm not a lover of the chips and tend to order the Cajun spicing to improve them but that down to the individual. Staff here are more than pleasant, personable and professional...can't ask for anything more. Only small criticism when there busy they don't alway have time to wipe down the tables, last time I visited a member of staff (I think the manager) saw me wiping it prior to eating, ran over apologised and offered to do it...again fair enough you can't ask for more effort.

John behind the counter who was married to Kylie Minogue and won britains got talent (he should’ve done) made our burger experience memorable for all the right reasons. First time in 5 Guys deffo coming back. Possibly the best burger I’ve had. Really good counter team here, great product. Well done.

Great food, quick service. Staff were lovely, a mistake was made on my receipt which I didn’t even notice but the staff member came over to me to correct it. Good atmosphere, clean bathrooms which are private which was a nice touch. Always had a good experience here but today they really went above and beyond to ensure we had a good experience. Thank you :)

My first ever visit to five guys Loads of parking Well light and nice location Clean and tidy I side and out The food was great very surprised, fries just lovely, burger proper yummy. Refill soft drinks. Cherry Dr pepper omg Prices slightly high for a burger. Staff just great spot on Only down side. NO DESERTS But phesibly could not eat it anyways

More of a religious experience than a meal. Yes, it's expensive for what it is but it's genuinely one of the best burgers in existence. Tip: Save a couple of quid by only ordering little fries as they scoop in extra anyway

Beautiful fresh burgers with all the choice of toppings available fries we're delicious and served by the ton lol and had the banana and peanut butter milkshake omg it was the best milkshake I have ever had all condiment freely available and all heinz can't fault this place

We paid £55 for 3 burgers and a sandwich with 3 drinks and mikeshake, with NO fries, this was my 1st and going to be my last time here, sorry but burger King out ranks your food, for price too,

Food is very tasty. Little bit expensive but you have to pay for quality. Always seems to be busy when I've been in there. Fizzy drink machine is wicked.

Revised review😀, I can't remember anywhere I had better service in the past and have only ever been to the main stream outlets but the Five Guys taste is worth the money, staff are also super polite and helpful as well, better atmosphere , like a real diner. Won't be going to any other run of the mcmill outlets again 🤫

Last wife and went was the 'old' location in the Coliseum before Covid and was not impressed. Staff uninterested and place dingy and greasy. This new location brighter, staff more energetic and food pretty much on par to US as we lived there for 12yrs.

Visited five guys for lunch & it did not disappoint. The staff are really helpful & friendly, food tasted amazing. It is quite pricey though, it cost us around £49 for 1x plain hotdog, 3x little cheese burgers, 1 lx fries, 1x milkshake & 2x refil drinks. Not somewhere you would go all the time but great for a treat.

Service was nice, food was very mediocre at best.. never been to five guys so didn’t know what to expect but for the price I definitely expected better than the sloppy mess I was served. Would like to note that the guy on the grill was not wearing a hair net on his beard which I found disgusting and I think it’s a serious health and safety issue.

Ive seen cleaner toilets at festivals. This five guys has 4 gender neutral toilets which have basically just been turned into 4 male toilets. Piss everywhere and they absolutely stink. Five guys clearly don't care about fundamental rights for all women and girls.

After shopping went to have something quick to eat at 5 Guys. Service was very good and thought we were going to have some good burgers like we have at the 5 Guys restaurant in Trafford Centre so the same as the burger patties had a very funny smell like meat that was definitely off. Did not complain as quiet full or speak to staff as did not want everyone to hear so threw the burgers away. Never again will we go there to eat. Wasted a bit of money.

The food as always was lovely but then tried the pistachio milkshake and it’s amazing . The staff are so polite and efficient as well .

Visited Five Guys for the first time today and it didn’t disappoint, but it wasn’t just the food that made it stand out it was the 2 female staff members who excelled in both their job and customer service nothing was to much trouble. We left after eating with my 30month old grandson feeling he a made new friends because they ensured he was also a valued customer. many thanks and i’m sure we will be back

visited today and the staff were amazing they made us feel very welcoming and also took time to interact with my little boy who didn't want to leave them alone 🙂 they definitely did make his day and said they were his friends 😊 this was the first time coming and they did everything possible to make the experience as good as possible 😀 the two lady's who were on are a credit to your company. thank you very much

Very small portion of fries for £5.50, barely filled the cup. Other than that, everything else was very nice.

Had some tea after heading home from Manchester airport. Love the food as always. Particularly impressed with how friendly and polite the staff were. It was so refreshing to see happy staff! Nice to see employees with pride and work ethic in their job! Well done! Visited on 13th January 2024 at 22:00.

Awful! £60 for 4 burgers and fries and 3 soft drinks. WTH! Never again. All chucked in a bag

It was expensive, in fact very expensive, but the burger and it's choice of toppings was tasty. It was similar to the home made burgers my wife makes. Better than a McDonald's, because it's a bigger burger and the fries were made with local potatoes. The American accents were a bit far fetched, with the under current of Scouse. There was a wide choice of soft drinks and you could refill your cup as many times as you wanted. Lots of kids there, under 10's, which I don't think would appreciate the expensive concept. Just carry on taking them to McDonald's, unless you are like many of the posing people that go there. Treat yourself once in a while when you have saved up enough to go.

Five guys had always been popular to our family, we like the fries and the burger selection s and of course the shakes. Cheshire oaks outlet was great without being too busy

It's absolutely awful, totally tasteless, and massively overpriced. My advice is to avoid this eatery at all cost.

Best burger place ever hands down prefect burgers, excellent customer service, plenty of fries with your order as well you get a cup full and half a bag full so yeah plenty unlike some places we have been. Also all burgers come with 2pattys and the milkshakes are amazing, I recommend this place to any1 and every1. You won't be disappointed the price might get ya but when your eating it you'll understand

Took about 20 minutes food was very good

Huge disappointment, I'm not 1 to complain but there was a nasty long hair in my cheeseburger, I nearly threw up, I couldn't finish my fries or shake because of this, they refunded the £10 cheeseburger. Absolutely shocking, I will not be eating in this establishment ever again. Extremely disappointing experience.

A long wait for poor quality food, none of which looked like the description on the menu. I had the veggie sandwich and there was probably more taste in the tin foil wrapper which had nicely steamed to a soggy mess any vegetables that were inside the sandwich, (which by the way is a bun not a sandwich). At £4.95 it was totally overpriced and no amount of mayonnaise could have saved it; which was lucky as the mayonnaise machine had run out anyway. Chips were just thrown in the bag as well. Also what is with the ‘we dont sell coffee!’ we paid £20 for a burger reg fries and a bun filled with mush. Criminal. I don’t think Mac Donald’s are going to be worried about this restaurant opening. Good luck to anyone else eating,there I won’t ever be going again.

2 small hotdogs and coke over £20, not worth the price

Food was nice enough. But for an expensive burger, eating in was no great pleasure. Loud, glaring lights and a bit drafty!

I enjoyed my beef hot dog but husband wasn't to happy it came with gherkins he didn't ask for (I was happy because I got to eat them) he said the burger was the tainted and sulked. He did however still eat it and not complain to get another 🤦

We paid an impromptu visit here and enjoyed some decent burgers. There are a variety of topping choices, especially grilled onion, which pleased me no end. Sadly there are no hot drinks, but a chocolate milkshake made up for that. It’s a bit on the pricey side at around £10 per burger, and there’s no waiter service, customers collect their food from the counter when their order number is bellowed across the room. The atmosphere was sadly lacking. It’s a utilitarian space with sparse decoration and stark lighting. It attempts to have an American dinner feel, but with too much open space. A few booths would have made for a cosier dining experience. Instead, it felt rather like a high school cafeteria. (Should have taken a photo 🙄)

It's a good place but expensive

Please don’t order from here as I had to argue with them to prove that they had missed are order. Then they told me to wait 10minutes whilst they went and checked their cctv… Then I had to call them back to find out for my self that they accepted that they had missed items off the order and then refused to deliver these said items!!! Ridiculous and the whole order wasn’t even right but we will not go in to that.

I visited the restaurant with my daughters and my friend and having never been there before, I could only go off other people's opinions. I'd heard great things about the food but today my overall experience was simply outstanding. Lewis who served us was incredibly helpful throughout, even suggesting ideas of what to order for my children, when he could see I wasn't sure of what would be best. Whilst orderomg for myself, I didnt know where to start. Lewis didn't rush me and was just so friendly and reassuring and checked that I was happy with what I'd ordered. I was amazed by the amount of variety on the menu for both food and drink. It made it really difficult to choose but being able to order your toppings specifically to your own personal preferences makes it easier to get it exactly how you like it. When the food arrived it was amazing. Better than I expected and the portion sizes for the chips were insane. I loved the atmosphere in the restaurant as it felt lively with the music but it was so calm at the same time. This has to be down to the staff and how well they were each doing their jobs. It was just a rleaxing and enjoyable experience. As we left, although he was clearly busy, Lewis made an effort to say bye which shows just how genuine he was being throughout. I will definitely be returning. It is my new favourite place to eat.

Great tasty burgers if you are prepared to pay extra money than normal but it is worth it in my opinion. Service is also very good and welcoming.

Disappointed £22.15 for dry burger and cold fries

Very poor experience. First visit here. Highly overpriced, not even any taste in the burgers. Chips thrown in the bag, no container for them. No help from staff, no friendly welcome. For the price, you’d expect table service at least ! Will never go back

Pretty disappointing. Never tried.5 guys before. Put order in, no issues. But was 40 mins before I got it. Manager took charge and got it sorted for a few of us within 10 minutes but 40 wait for a burger and chips wasn't great. I think the online orders screwed them which I suppose is the way things are these days but when I saw orders waitim Ng where chips had gone cold, to see them being out back in the fries station from the bag then back into my order, bit poor. I totally get hospitality is still understrengthed but a burger and chips in a burger restaurant shouldn't be too much to hope for. And I understand that my experience may not be that of others.

There's a young lad who works here - I think his name is Nathan. His customer service was top notch. Made a fuss of my son on his birthday when we came in and made some amazing shakes. Top notch.

Had a burger from 5 guys Chester a few months back and have been craving one ever since. Decided to try one of the shakes as well and asked the lad what he would recommend because I usually just go for boring vanilla milkshakes. He told me he liked the Oreo and chocolate and I went for that and it was amazing. The burger was also very very nice and worth the 100000 calories. Very expensive for a burger but worth it for a treat every now and then. The server was called James and he was brilliant very polite and helpful. Definitely a member of staff they need to keep hold of. All in all a nice bite to eat if you like burgers and fries

Service was amazing. The best fries I've ever had! Disappointed as there isn't a veggie burger just mushrooms and veg sandwich. I havent eaten this as once I realised it wasn't a burger I decided to just have fries. There is no reason to not have a veggie burger these days. Lovely staff at Cheshire oaks five guys

All the staff were great, polite and well trained. My only problem was the bun which was of very poor quality and fell apart. I could only see the slightest evidence of toasting at the very edge of the bun and no toasting on the bun itself. This spoiled the experience

This place has always been expensive but the food made up for it. However this visit was a real eye opener. Just shy of 40quid for my son and I was a step too far. Burgers seemed smaller. Lovely food freshly made but in current times it's now out of my budget.

Ordered online cake with Missing items. Would not send out replacement had to get refund which takes 5 days!!!!! Totally unacceptable

Was looking forward to a meal here but I went to do a collection on their website all was well until we put our card details in and pressed pay it then came up with page not found, it’s taken the money out of my bank, so we went inside to get some help and all we were told was to contact the bank, what is the bank supposed to do, they weren’t helpful at all wish they at least gave us some better advice as it’s their company and their website, so don’t do a collection as it just takes your money :/!!

First time we’ve eaten at Five Guys. I knew it would be more expensive but nothing prepared me for £70 for four burgers, two regular fries (you get a lot) and four milk shakes. The burgers are big (we had doubles) but still well overpriced even with the free toppings. It was also disappointing inside - somehow lacking ambiance or atmosphere. We had to clear our own table before we could sit down as it was busy but for that price I just expected more. The food was tasty but I wound t bother again. If I wanted a burger, I’d just go to McDonalds as honestly, there wasn’t a huge difference - you don’t get waited on - it’s not even a diner.

Busy restaurant good food but watch the balance I was double charged for meal phoned to complain and the lad said all he can do is email and hopefully get me a refund.

Ordered online for 7.15pm collection. Then had to wait 20mins for food, the staff would have struggled to have cared less. Would have been much quicker not to order ahead. Food was OK, but for over £35 for two burgers, one fries and two milkshakes it's not worth it. Poor service, food was OK, price is far too steep - this'll be the last visit.

Our first and last visit to Five Guys. We had heard great things about this place, they were so wrong. When you pay £9-45 for a cheeseburger you expect to enjoy a great burger. What we got was a soggy falling apart mess (see picture)...

I go to five guys on a regular basis and this is my first trip to the one at Cheshire oaks. I know what to expect in terms of pricing etc. however little things annoyed me…..no drink lids, no straws and no lids for sauce....

The food was good but what truly made the whole evening was our waiter Ben. He made us feel welcome and was so nice and funny. We came for my brothers birthday and Ben truly made us laugh and enjoy our experience. Thank you Ben...

Expensive, but food was delicious! James was so lovely. Both food and service was excellent. As everything was cooked to order it took a little longer to come out, but when it did….it was worth the wait.

Heard a lot about five guys so decided to give it a try today. At over £50 for 4 burgers one large fries and drinks i nearly choked. Burgers were nice, fries were nice so can't complain about the food. Staff were friendly and patient...

My order was ready on arrival at the time given by email. The staff were all friendly and polite. Burger was great, cooked perfectly and well assembled. I've been meaning to try Five Guys for a long time and I'm glad I finally did.
