Papa John's in Milton Keynes

Used to be half decent but it's shockingly disgusting now. I am giving it a second chance after the last lat down and it's even worse

Food was bland, chicken tasted off and the desert was burnt 0/5 but that wasn’t an option

I had the Jackfruit peperoni, I would avoid it like the plague. It was nasty, never again!

Poor management and poor hygiene. Very bad experience😕

This chain in general, is definitely the best of the bunch for 🍕.

Sadly this is the most central branch in Milton Keynes where Papas UK is based, contact them to raise a complaint over an order that was over two hours late and they can't be bothered to help. No more Papas! I was happy to overlook their terrible business practices until now.

Absolute worthy special spicy pizazz with tremendous variety and variation with consistent dipping however friendly staff and exposure makes it lovely

I didn't get my order, no one anwer the phone. Is already 10 minutes after estimated delivery time no contact with restaurant no refund. Order was placed at 22:50.

I used to love the fresh flavour, quality and quantity of papa johns toppings and especially the sauce they used. We ordered 4 pizzas yesterday and they were very poor. Ingredients missing, very different flavour and overall disappointing. Goodbye papa johns. It’s not me, it’s you.

All in all, stressful, frustrating, and not an experience we want to repeat due to poor management and quality. Regular customer (though not anymore). Previous two orders have been atrocious; cookie desert was burned to a crisp and when we were told to send photos via whatsapp to prove it to the store when we complained, they argued that it was perfectly fine. Having tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, we ordered again only for them to somehow mix up toppings for both pizzas, giving us two pizzas we couldn't eat. Attempting to resolve this issue took over 10 minutes to just get through a chore of a conversation that was handled poorly by the staff. At first they tried to insist that our order had never been placed! When we finally got it across that we had the food literally in front of us but that it was wrong, they magically found the information they needed. Just getting across that we needed replacement pizzas was such a chore that it ruined the 'hassle-free' experience delivery is meant to be. Will never order from this branch again as the only thing we are guaranteed to receive is an issue with the order. You are better off cooking a meal from scratch.

Papa Johns are a con. When you place an order a pop up offers you cash back on your next order. But if you read the small print at the bottom, you notice you get subscribed to £15 per month to their "partner programme" I bet a lot of their customers have lost a lot of money by innocently clicking to receive cash back. Very unethical Papa Johns. Dominoes gets my custom from now on

Lovely, tasty pizza. Delivered by a friendly, jovial person, just inside earliest delivery time. Food was nice and hot and we'll definitely order from Papa Johns again.

We ordered an XL Philly Cheese steak which we have done in the past. The topping was so thin it was like eating a dry Pizza base, I phoned the Oldbrook branch to make a complain but after speaking to the manager all we got offered was a 50% discount on our next order, something which is available to all customers all the time, the Manager wasnt very professional and didnt handle the complain in a satisfactory manner. I won't be using Papa John's again.

It was okay, pizza crust was a bit chewy & was given wrong ice cream.

Had a terrible experience ordering from here. Ordered to a hotel In Milton Keynes waited and waited and no show. So called and was told we’d be told when driver arrived. Didn’t receive one so called back ourselves so we’re told it was left in the hotel reception without our knowledge so when we finally got it it was stone cold

Extremely poor customer service. Ordered a hot beef Mexican and it came with 2 pieces of meat and I was told that's the standard.

Ordered x2 Papadia. In short it’s just a very small pizza cut in half and folded, with marginal toppings. Taste was fine, but not good value for money. Won’t be ordering this menu item again. Better off just ordering a pizza.

Although the quality and taste was very good I had ordered extra dips that were missing and it’s impossible to report it

First time ordering a papa johns and this will be the last. Pros - quick delivery Cons - actual pizza was incredibly light on toppings and mine was very chewy (thin crust). There was no flavour, it could have been cardboard. My partner found a curly hair embedded into his first slice. Garlic dip was oily and essentially tasted like cheap melted margarine. Quite frankly incredibly expensive for the product received. We both wished we had purchased some frozen pizzas and put them in the oven ourselves as even the economy, cheaper than cheap £1 pizzas would have been more enjoyable, had more flavour, and saved us the £35 (including a 20% discount). Really disappointed as I've heard good things about the brand. Sadly not my experience whatsoever. Won't be returning.

So Papa Johns offer you a deal to get a large pizza delivered and then they still want extra for delivery, and that still isn't enough so you pay for an XXL pizza just to get It delivered and It's warm. Then when you phone Oldbrook saying that you want a hot pizza, he says 'that he can't do anything and that It left the shop hot'. I said It's up to you deliver a hot pizza, or I'll just leave a negative review and will do a chargeback with my bank. We know how It works to many orders for the driver, or not enough drivers and pizzas are getting cold in store. Safe to say he thinks that they get enough business with all the other pizza shops in MK and so refused, well here's the review and on Monday I'll be doing the chargeback and next time try another of the other 20 pizza joints in MK.

Order pizza and noticed that there was hardly any cheese on the pizza. Clearly there is an attempt to save cheese and thus money but at the expense of product quality. This is the second time this has happened.

The item was not up to the mark. The stuffing was not much and colour was turned dark red. I dont like that item.

The customer service person was very rude, the pizza was cold and the driver didn’t said he called me but didn’t not , I’m very disappointed.

The pizza toppings were wrong and the pizza was an hour late, but said it was delivered on time. When I called 20 minutes past when it was to be delivered they said it would be another 10-15 minutes, but it was almost another 40 minutes.

It was delivered hot and on time with just about the right amount of barbecue sauce

One of the two pizza's we ordered was incorrect, but after calling the store they apologised and sent out a replacement pizza very quickly.

My preference of ice cream was removed some time ago from the menu, and I had to except the similar one as delivered with my meal.

Pizza was great, the app was terrible. Never updated the status of my order....needs improvement for sure

Ordered for collection, tracker not updated, waited 45 mins while the pizza was ready long before, nobody knew why nobody bothered.

We ordered pizzas for vaccination sites and they delivered squashed pizza's and cold. Appearance is un acceptable ,disappointed and disgusted. See the picture.

Had to wait over an hour past the delivery times we Rang the shop and they said that someone took the paperwork and not put the order through and there was food missing aswell. Not good and I won't be ordering from here again.

topping quantity very less comparitively

I usually order directly from the papa johns website but 2nd time ordering from here because of papa john's new £1.75 delivery charge. I have to say I'm disappointed, I got 2 boxes of the Cheesy Jalapeno Bites. Every time I've ordered they've been great, but this time the cheese was quite sour and just not good, I usually finish the boxes within the hr of getting them but this is now the next day and there's still a full box sitting on the kitchen table. Maybe the products used to make this batch wasn't fresh idk. Won't be ordering again, which is sad cos I was obsessed with these.

There seems to be a problem with Just Eat not communicating orders to the restaurant, resulting in me having to ring up to see where the food is. This has happened three times now. I was told this time that it was due to me clicking “collection” rather than delivery, but this is not the case, as confirmed by my order history and the fact that I get notifications saying the food is out for delivery.

I ordered a stuff frust veg pizza. I loved it. Service was good . Was ready for collection on time.

Excellent pizza . Shame 1 or 2 of the staff in this shop are not the most pleasant or helpful . They could be doing with a course on how to do their job properly

After waiting for more than an hour past the arrival time, I requested an update from the restaurant which I never received. A further 20 minutes passed and they just marked it as delivered when nothing arrived. Absolutely fuming and now desperately hungry.

Placed order received confirmation and then when contacting restaurant to be told the order doesn't exist..how is that possible?!! Now it's been two hours since ordering and too late to order from elsewhere! Shocking service! First time ordering and now will be the last!

Great for almost everything, but they do seem incapable of delivering the right dip. I mean, I like the garlic dip, but when I’ve specifically selected the pizza sauce dip for an extra charge, it would be nice to get it for once.

Awful pizza I ordered it the other day and the bacon wasn't cooked and it had a funny taste to it leaving with stomach aches always had better pizzas in the other branches

Ordered my food at 22:10. Estimated delivery time is 22:45. Someone from the store called me after I placed my order and spent ten minutes arguing that he couldn’t find the address, so I sent my location and he said my pizza would be delivered ASAP. At 23:00, another number calls me and says he’s driving round an estate and can’t find the address, so I sent him my location too. Really bad service and the food was almost cold. Wouldn’t order again.

The driver was in stealth mode and we did not realise he had left the food outside the door. It was cold by the time we found it. Surely the driver could have knocked on the door?

Papa John’s is our favourite takeaway pizza but we have decided to stop using this branch. The last 3 times we have ordered from them we have not enjoyed any of the food. Today we ordered from the branch at MK Dons stadium and the food was all delicious and to the standard we expect from Papa John’s. This is our closest branch but we won’t be going here again.

First time I ordered the money was taken from my account and an order number given. I called the store after 50 mins and they said they didn't receive mu order and to call head office. Head office then refunded me 5 days later. Why they couldn't just call the store and ask them to fulfill my order is beyond me. The second time I ordered a large all the meats with no beef and jalapenos and buffalo wings. I received plain wings and a pizza with beef and ni jalapenos.

They make my favourite vegetarian pizza and have a range of special offers (££s). Home delivery always on time.

2 stars less for undercooked chicken side, and when called to inform the same, very poor response received. Will never order this side again.

Firstly, our food was 30 mins late so I called the restaurant. They said they had tried to call but we had received nothing. When it arrived at 45 mins late, they knocked on door when we left clear delivery instructions. The food was then lukewarm and not hot. So either reheated or left for ages and not fresh. Second just eat order that was a shambles.

Not happy as I tried to use the 20% off on Sunday at Pizza Hut on my app “for you” and it didn’t apply when I tried to pay and charged me the full £35 so doubt I’ll be using any of your offers again

Although the food was only just warm it tasted good. Forgot to say "no dips" as they arrive hot and look and taste off.

We ordered Chicken Poppers but received Wings so we proceeded to call the restaurant... The man on the phone just checked our address and then confirmed they would send the correct item out ASAP. So easy!! The elderly man that delivered our Chicken Poppers couldn't have been more apologetic and was absolutely lovely! 6 stars 🌟 for him alone! We will definitely order from here again. Thank you Papa John's!!

Was informed I come under Wolverton however after telling me Wolverton was closed, they agreed to deliver to me. I'm north mk.. Buy 1 get 1 free?!? I went for this offer but is not what you think. U just save few pounds not the hole amount. For ex. 1 pizza is £10.99 and with the offer you pay £17. They should be honest and tell us. The pizza was good.

They didn't get my order right had to wait ages for re-order. Heard others ringing in complaining about their orders being messed up, whilst I was waiting. wrong dips put in aswell...

My husband likes this more than any other pizza brand. This location is always on time with the correct delivery piping hot.

Best papa John's in MK. What I like most about these guys, they don't mind fixing a mistake and they always smile. We have to click and collect here as its not our local papa John's, but certainly worth the effort.
