We visited the night before my husband‘s birthday while staying nearby. Warmly greeted, food ordered quickly and starters were delicious. That is the end of the end of anything positive I can say. Our waiter Tom, came and told us unfortunately he had made a mistake with our order, apologised and offered us another drink each. We believe he had forgotten to put the main course order through to the kitchen. This was not a problem, we were happy to wait and know these things can happen. Amy, a member of the management team, also came over to apologise and check we had been offered a complimentary drink. Our butchers block (for sharing) arrived, with all the trimmings. Unfortunately the steaks were only just warm, and the chips and onion loaves cold - we returned the food. Amy came and apologised again. We asked her to check that the food is hot enough before it reaches us, she readily agreed and said she would go one better and get Stephen, the manager, whom we had also met by this time, to check it himself. This didn’t happen. The new food arrived – however it wasn’t nicely presented with the onion loaf or tomatoes etc It was just the steaks on an ordinary dinner plate. We were told the sides would follow. The chips were cold again. As Amy was walking past we called her over – her words were ‘I am speechless’. This was in relation to how the steaks were served and the coldness of the chips. Both Stephen and Amy said this was unacceptable and they didn’t understand what was going wrong. This was now two hours plus after we had arrived. We were offered anything we wanted off the menu and told everything would be complimentary however we had lost our appetites by this time. We didn’t want to wait any longer and said we would call it a night. Stephen suggested we at least have a dessert so we weren’t left completely hungry - we accepted. He also appeared with two bottles of wine to wish my husband a happy birthday and asked for contact details to send a goodwill voucher as an apology for ruining what should have been a special occasion – and my husband‘s first visit to a Miller and Carter (I had finally persuaded him to give Miller and Carter a try). Unfortunately, we are still waiting for the promised voucher (date of meal 13th December). They did take my husband’s details, they also had my contact details from the booking. There were other little things that were wrong, in the grand scheme of things they weren’t worth mentioning at the time, or in this review. I really fail to see how a well-known restaurant brand can get things so wrong, and the management team, although seemingly doing the right things on the night, not follow through as they said they would. If I could give no stars, I would have done so.

We visited the Shrnley Church end branch this evening after recommendations from a family member. We ordered the prawn cocktail and scallops for starters, the scallops were the size of a 10p piece and overcooked, the prawns in the cocktail were covered in paprika completely masking any flavour of the marie sauce, very disappointing, the ribeye steak that we asked to be medium was completely dry. Lost all flavour and the chips were awful. The lamb rump crispy on the edges. Not well done, but burnt. The pea puree was definitely not pureed but lightly smashed up garden peas. The red wine rue had not been cooked off £141 with two wines and two gins, highly disappointing Will not be recommending to others. The waitress was A*

The staff were attentive from our first step into the restaurant and the waitress who served us today was an absolute delight. Clear understanding of the menu and made recommendations when we asked. I genuinely would say it was one of the best service I have had. In terms of food, it was also flavoursome. We wanted to try different cuts so ended up ordering the butcher's block, which was more than we hope for. My only constructive feedback (and mainly applies to what we ordered due to different cuts of meat), would be a quick introduction to which cuts presented on the board. However, as mentioned, it's been a wonderful experience and well worth the price (food and service) and no doubt, we will be attending again in the new year! Keep it up!

While we generally enjoy our visits to your restaurants and the food is excellent there were problems with our last visit. The table selected for us by the restaurant staff was in a spot where it was extremely cold (we had my mother with us who is 91yrs old and has a low tolerance for cold in her advanced years). After sitting there for a couple of minutes I noticed the air-con unit above me was on gently blowing cold air causing a draft and it felt like we were sitting outside (it was an extremely cold evening in mid December already). It got to the point where I had to get up, find restaurant staff and ask to be re-seated in a warmer part of the restaurant. After being re-seated it was fine. Apart from this seating mistake by the initial staff (I do believe the initial staff member should have been able to make an assessment by looking at the 4 person party and seating us in a warmer area from the start based on our ages, 91yrs, 76yrs, 60yrs & 54yrs. As older people colder spots do not work for us), the service and food was excellent.

The restaurant was very busy yet our server Sean was very attentive and friendly, he's a fantastic character. All the food was excellent, the steaks were amazing and everything all evening was just perfect.

Prawn and avacado cocktail, just 8 tiny prawns, bought the wrong steak, brownie rock hard and then desert we never ordered added to the bill. Not want you want after really slow service. Harvester is a better bet imho. Update still waiting a reply to my email sent over a month ago. Update 11/12 still waiting a reply after 2 months, have made contact with head office.

I visited for a relaxed Sunday lunchtime meal. We were pleasantly greeted at the door and seated immediately. We were quickly greeted by Angelica, who was an absolute super star! Her service was second to none, personalised and professional, friendly and knowledgeable. She is such an asset to this restaurant!! There was plenty of choice on the menu, with very little that was unavailable. And this was all very clearly explained too. Our meal was delicious. Everything arrived in a timely manner, but never felt rushed. Everything arrived at a great temperature and was served exactly as ordered. The steak was melt in the mouth good, and even side dishes were packed full of meaty goodness! The only negative thing I can say is actually about the guests on the table next to us. They have to be rudest, most self-obsessed people I have had the displeasure of dining alongside. From the second they sat down everything was a problem for them - from the availability of the different menus to the way items were served. Everything needed to be very clearly explained to them again and again as they just weren't able to read the VERY clear menus for themselves, or listen to the incredibly clear explanations given. They (obviously) complained shortly after a huge sharing platter was served stating that the steaks were cold because the butter hadn't melted yet - but they hadn't actually touched or tried the steak! The butter is super cold and takes time to melt, which they failed to understand. But we knew right away that they were going to complain about something - I don't think anything could have pleased them! BUT... that gave Angelica so many opportunities to show just how good she was. She handled EVERY little issue with pure professionalism and incredible patience. She juggled multiple tables effortlessly, whilst also giving the huge amount of additional attention to these challenging guests. If I hadn't heard the conversations for myself, I would never have realised just how much she was dealing with. I would give her a job in a heartbeat, so whatever you are paying her is not near enough!!

Warm, hospitable and friendly. Our receptionist/server was friendly and very helpful and polite. Food was good and this time I made the mistake of ordering Filet Mignon. The food was well presented and the steaks, two 5oz fillet, looked okay. One of these steak appeared to be a real fillet, although the quality was poor, it was cooked as requested. Not sure what the second fillet was, it was an indeterminate cut of meat, which was gristly and chewy, some of which I had to waste as it could not be suitably chewed for swallowing. It could have been the head of the fillet, but even they are better than this one was. Other than that the rest of our party were satisfied.

Great service did not book first pop in on off chance and they was very accommodating and got us seated. We was seved by Angelica who was such a lovely girl, highly recommend.

Jessil at shenley was just amazing. She made our night with her friendliness and hospitality. Food was amazing. Good cocktails. Excellent steaks. We’ll be back

Really good time, food was really nice 😋 I have now been to Miller & Carter's a few times and have not been disappointed yet.

Service was good. The serving staff were welcoming. The basic quality of the ingredients was good, bu the time it took from kitchen to table was bad. My soup was barely above body temperature. The chips that came with the steak were cold and had lost their crispness and the peppercorn sauce had formed a skin. The flavour and tenderness of the steak was good, but it to had cooled significantly by the time it was served. Overall the meal was OK; not good

Always get a really nice meal in this restaurant. The staff are always friendly and can't do enough to make you feel relaxed. Would recommend this restaurant for either a lunch time or an evening meal..

Had a great meal at Miller & Carter last night. Our server was Nigel and he was such a lovely bloke, gave us great service and was just the right amount of attentive without being in your face. Give that man a raise! Our food was lovely and was timed just right. Great experience and will definitely be back, hopefully when Nigel is on shift!!

Lovely meal tonight steak was perfect ,the camembert mash is just the best thing to accompany it. Had the burrata to start which was delicious with the lovage pesto and pickled beats an⁷d the desert of poached pear and coconut sorbet was the perfect end . The waiter was lovely aswell

All the right ingredients, food and staff were good enough, the execution was appalling. Left waiting to even order drinks, food took ages to arrive when we did get to order. Just a real let down in their process. I can't see us going there again.

Our waitress Roxy was wonderful, food preparation seemed rushed not the usual standard and spent alot of time ignored while watching Rebecca, who i assume is a manager in a white shirt, examine how well each member of staff polished every wine glass in sight...to the point that she was basically telling them off openly infront of all the customers and arguing with them all about how shiny the glass was under a microscope, rather then them doing what they usually do when we previously visited and tend to the diners with happy smiles. Was entertaining in a way to watch her huff and puff with a frown from 1 glass to the next. Embarrassing for the usually happy and friendly staff who always work hard to please the customers. Not very professional tbh considering the amount we spent to watch her behaving petty and confrontational and she didn't seem to care that families were trying to enjoy their meals. We were not able to have a conversation between us for fear she might tell us off for talking and didn't even finish eating just wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. I made sure I tidied my dishes neatly before we left incase she chased me on the way to to the car to tell me off.

Had fixed price lunch menu. Starters very nice and tasty and main meal meat cooked well and tender but as before find vegetable accompaniments to meal limited and boring. Not very exciting. Also choice of non alcoholic beer Lucky something gross. But still good value compared to main meal prices.

When we arrived we were led to a booth- we’d requested a round table but were told it had been allocated to a larger party (fair enough) but an experienced host would have worked out that a party of 5 people including an 85 year old, an 84 year old, a 75 year old and a 63 year old might have been better suited to a table. I ordered a soft drink with no ice- it came as a bottle (no offer to open it) and a glass full of ice… when it was pointed out that no ice was wanted the server dumped out the ice on to their serving tray. The 85 year old (whose birthday we were celebrating- not that anyone bothered to ask) stated that she had a small appetite and would have liked chicken so, after some deliberation- with no assistance from the server, it was requested that she’d like a chicken breast (advertised as an extra on a salad) and some chips (and perhaps a bit of salad). What came out was woeful- overcooked chicken and a pot of chips, no plate dressing- watercress or salad it looked pitiful. One of our guests had the half-rack of ribs which was provided with no bib, wipe or finger-bowl… in fact we had to ask for this. Dessert was no better- the Creme Brûlée is advertised as served with berries (plural)- 1 pitiful raspberry and a cornflower in a metal Petrie dish and not really brûléed. The cheesecake is advertised as with whipped cream- what same was a melted puddle of cream about the size of a £2 coin- this was sent back advising it was not wished to be replaced. More than 5 minutes later it was replaced and when refused, the server got slightly annoyed advising I hadn’t said I didn’t want it replaced- when in fact I had. We then had several attempts at trying to get someone’s attention for the bill and in the end we gave up and I had to go to the hostess station to request it. We were in the restaurant for more than 3 hours and weren’t offered a refresh of drinks. All in all, a wholly disappointing experience.

We arrived with no reservation and were seated to a table promptly. The server was polite and attentive. I attempted to order one of the cocktails but was told there was a missing ingredient. I had the chateaubriand sharer and it was cooked to perfection. All the sides were delicious as was the wine. I would recommend this Miller and Carter

We had not booked but were welcomed by a member of staff who quickly showed us to our table. It was quiet and peaceful exactly as we asked. Our waitress Kristin was delightful and we soon had drinks and water. We have very small appetites and so we asked to share a starter and a main. It was easily achieved. Later we shared a dessert. The meal was tasty, hot and plentiful. Even taking into account the fact that we were sharing, we were replete. Overall a good experience. Thankyou Kristin and other staff.

A bit quiet for a Wednesday night!

Our waiter Seun was simply amazing! super patient and gracious. The host who booked my party of 17 was also very kind! extremely happy with the service we all received. I also have a nut allergy and they were extremely deliberate about being careful. Thank you.

Lovely main and dessert. Let down by tepid/ lukewarm cappucinos. They were kindly replaced...with two more tepid/lukewarm capuccinos....yuk! The cost of coffees were taken off the bill. I think you need to check the heater on the milk dispenser, maybe? We didnt order Frappès......

Worst Miller & Carter we have visited. Several members of staff walked past us before actually seating us to our table. Drinks took ages to arrive and when they did my cocktail tasted so watered down and disgusting. Complained to our waitress where she repeated several times that they use the right measurements & wouldn’t accept the fact that the drink was awful. She did let me change my drink in the end. Whilst waiting for our food we overheard several customers complaining about how their steaks were cooked and several had to be remade which didn’t look promising. My partner didn’t get his lettuce wedge that was meant to come out before the meal ! I told the waitress that he hasn’t received it and her reply was we’re busy I’ll go and get it. My partners steak was very tough and chewy , a lot of fat on it. After our meal we ordered two more drinks, our server gives us our bill before even receiving these drinks ! Had to remind her that we are waiting on them. Card machine then doesn’t work and on the 2nd attempt she realises there is no receipt paper in it. Overall an awful experience, considering it’s not the cheapest of restaurant’s I do expect better.

The food was fine. The service was not great. We are the ribeye and scallops. Both were cooked really well and very tasty. On arrival, we were left waiting for quite a while. It seems like management has the host setting the tables, meaning her post was left unattended often. At the other end of the meal I think we were left waiting while our server had their smoke break after saying they were just going to grab the card machine. If management want to improve things, they should look at hiring 'bussing' staff members who clean and set the tables and run the card machine around, (or else consider allowing people to pay online if they're avoiding paying enough staff.)

I will start off by saying the food we had was very good (desserts unavailable and creme brûlée inedible but sent back no problem) The waitress was lovely very attentive and couldn’t fault her! The front of house female was just awful, we queried sitting in the overflow bit as we booked weeks ago, she said that’s all we have and if you wanted the main restaurant you should of put that on your booking, I said so it’s my fault then, well that was like a red rag to a bull she completely flipped and said she will eject me from the restaurant if I keep being rude as she won’t want her staff to serve me, so I had to go with it as we had a birthday voucher that needed using, she sat us down and I spoke to a nice young manager who apologised for her and offered us a free drink! Her demeanour was extremely unprofessional and she clearly needs a few lessons in hospitality, I watched her bringing people to the tables etc and she looked miserable and clearly doesn’t enjoy her job, we have been coming here since it opened and we have never sat in the overflow bit which is why we were surprised, common decency was all it needed not the defensive rude tone we encountered! The manager and waitress were really good but sadly we won’t be coming back here.

Our server, Angelica, was awesome. Friendly, efficient, everything you could want in wait staff. The Watermelon cocktail was refreshing! I had the marrow bone for a starter. I am glad this was brought back. Don't take that off the menu. We chose M&C because of it. Without it, we would've gone to Oligarchs. The sirloin I ordered was bland. As in not as flavourful as a 50 day aged steak should taste. It didn't taste aged at all. My companion didn't have any complaints about his ribeye, but then again he would eat a shoe if it were seasoned right. The biggest complaint is the salad bowls. Please, either put the wedge salad - which requires the use of a knife - on a plate or cut it into bite sized pieces. The struggle is real. I watched a large man with huge hands, attempt to cut his salad in the tiny wooden bowl whilst said bowl spun around like a whirling dervish. Overall, the quality has gone down over the past year. It now feels like how Beefeater used to feel. Before it started to feel like Harvester. Although now Harvester feels more like a Beefeater used to. For the prices, the quality should be higher.

Superb experience as always from Miller & Carter. 2nd time myself and my wife have been to this one, really nice atmosphere here. Both times we have been served by the superb Angelica, who is a credit to the company. The best waitress ever. Angelica instantly recognsed us from our first visit and there was almost a 3 month gap if not more between the visits. How many waitresses would recognise again?. Very knowledgable, helpful, polite and pleasant. This is now our go to Miller. Thank you Angelca. Mr & Mrs Simmonds.

The service at miller and carter shenley is always amazing and topped by the amazing food, the staff always make you feel welcome and nothing is ever an issue and will always try to accommodate my needs.

Visited on a Sunday early afternoon. Fairly busy but not to the point it slowed down service. We were seen to right away by Angelica who was probably the best waitress we’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Her conversation, recommendations etc were all amazing, a true asset to your team! Back to the food. Everything was cooked to perfection and if we could bottle that beef dripping sauce, that would be amazing! Steak cooked perfectly medium as requested. The sharing dessert was also very tasty and very naughty! Guinness was well kept, lovely pint! All in all, a 10/10 visit. The Sunday menu is great value for money!

Great food as always however our experience this time around was made so much more enjoyable by our waiter Sean, who was very friendly and attentive. He's a true credit to the team there.

Lovely lunchtime meal. Everything we had (3 steaks and a lamb rump) was cooked beautifully to our taste. We took a long time to choose what we wanted as we hadn’t been to the restaurant for quite a long time. This didn’t seem to be a problem and Corey was very patient with us. Our drinks arrived promptly and we enjoyed the occasion. There wasn’t much atmosphere due to the restaurant being very quiet but we had a lovely time. Thank you.

Nice staff with attentive service, but an uninspiring menu for the price. Small, yet nicely cooked steaks. I cant work out what the huge chunk of lettuce "wedge" is all about. Cold chips. It really is chain pub stuff. If you like chain pubs, then its the place for you.

Lived the service and the food.

Waited far to long for food considering the restaurant was empty, was recommended to order a different steak as it would be quicker to cook only to be told 1hr later that it wasn't available and would we like our original choice,so we are 1hr in and they haven't started cooking our mains.The table behind us is now kicking off and shouting and swearing about how long and hiw wrong there food is,my wife's steak comes out and it's rare instead of well done so sent back and then at 21.30 we are told it's gone missing and she won't be getting any dinner.this totally ruined our 26th wedding anniversary and makes us feel like we don't want to return as we don't want our night to be ruined again. We are now looking for another steak house to re celebrate this special occasion which was totally ruined.

My husband and I visited on the rare occasion we did not have our kids. The waiter was the only good thing about the service. The restaurant was not full so subpar standards really shouldn’t have occurred on a Saturday night. Issues were all centered around the food - first, the steak and chips were stone cold. to the point that the butter was not melting on the steak. we sent that back - re-fired steak was then cooked rare/blue (clearly rushed) when we asked for medium-rare. We did not send this back as we had been waiting over an hour for food and were starving so we ate the edges of the steak that were not too rare (this was after 9:30pm!). you could pull out strands of what i can only assume to be veins or something because the meat was so blue. - onion loaf was as flat as a pancake - tomato was a salad tomato on its way out to the compost - a member of the management team told us they would come and check on our meal to see if it was ok and they never did - to top it all off, after all that inconvenience and subpar service, attention to detail and shameful standards, we paid the bill in full (having been told we would get some money off for the inconvenience of the evening) - the service was disappointing all round. the gentleman next to us ordered a burger with no cheese, he got cheese in his burger and was not able to eat it. - The did not have all the sides as well on the night so had items cancelled by the kitchen after the order was made.

Had a great meal , the service as always was amazing couldn’t thank my server enough ( Angelica) she was lovely ! 10/10. Was very busy night , had one issue with one of the main however was handled fantastically , and did everything in their power to mend the error.

Food was incredible and so was the service, whether that was because it was quiet, I'm not sure as not been for many years. All the same I was impressed. One negative was hearing one of the members of staff talking about applying for another job, now ok that happens all the time, but looks like you have unhappy staff, and customers should never hear or see that!!

Service was very good however the steaks were very disappointing not cooked correctly and a poor cut of meat. The outside of the restaurant looked very shabby. This used to be such a good restaurant, such a shame it’s gone down hill

Amazing food, amazing service with great company

We have visited this Miller & Carter several times and always enjoyed our meal. On this occasion the rump steaks were a little tough and discounted from the bill. Everything else about the meal was excellent. Angelica looked after us exceptionally well and we will return next time we fancy a steak.

Great service and food fantastic atmosphere

Staff were friendly, attentive, efficient and welcoming. The food was excellent. There is plenty of parking. The toilets were clean and tidy. The staff were happy with us bringing in a our own birthday cake, which they brought in with lighted candles. Plus they joined in with singing Happy Birthday. The only issue was that there were 9 of us and it was difficult to talk to everyone as we were on a long table, banquet style. (3 tables put together). A round table would have been ideal or maybe a large square table, so we could all see each other and talk easily. I had never been to a Miller & Carter before but would recommend the restaurant and will hopefully return we can recommend the scallops, calamari, lamp rump and Black Angus sirloin.

Food was great and wait times were very quick. Fantastic service from everybody but massive shoutout to Ula. Her attention to detail was incredible and she made the experience that much better for a friends birthdays. Truly an asset to the team.

Brilliant experience! The best service from any Miller and Carter so much so that we travel 20 miles to go to this one. The team are consistently attentive and friendly.

Not a good experience. We have been here twice, both times the food took over an hour to arrive. This time not only did the food take over an hour (the restaurant wasn't even that busy), but I asked for my steak to be medium and it was cooked very rare, almost blue. I don't know how a chef can get this so wrong. I asked for a newly cooked steak and the same steak arrived back in a staggering 30 minutes, still slightly on the rare side. It's safe to say we won't be eating at Miller and Carter again.

The whole experience couldn’t be bettered. Ellie really looked after us, and made a good experience fantastic.

Had a birthday lunch for my partner and he loved it !! The staff were super accommodating with the dessert-bday surprise arrangement beforehand and on the day.

Excellent food and service. This was my first visit in summer months my only complaint is the air conditioning isn't working properly and apparently hasn't been for over a year. This spoilt ( the hottest day so far ) the evening. Needs fixing

I know it's a world renowned steak restaurant but the steak is to DIE for!! You get to choose what you want with it and you get a wedge of lettuce with your choice of sauce. Service is awesome! Staff are so friendly and kind.

if I could give zero stars I would! -excessively noisy so unable to enjoy our group dinner (6 adults/1 child) it was akin to being in a pub bar - could barely hear ourselves speak. Not at all Miller & Carter brand quality of ambiance -had to wait ages for drinks to arrive and an hour for our dinner to arrive - we thought about leaving at the 45 minute mark -Ordered a bread board - the bread was burned around the edges and very crispy. -Cheese burger was the type of quality and flavour you would expect from a much lower level establishment - very disappointing for what it cost. -kids meal was very expensive (same food ordered as sides would have been much cheaper) -kids and adults mac & cheese was watery and tasted like a packet mix. -absolutely awful meal and ambiance - definitely wont be back and wouldnt recommend to anyone else either. Couldnt wait to leave. -Have eaten at Miller & Carter in Horsham, W Sussex and it was lovely but this was exactly like a Travel Lodge level restaurant - not at all up to the expected level of a true Miler & Carter restaurant.

Went for a dinner with a friend, We were served by Kristin, wow what an amazing service she gave us. Always smiling attentive, not intrusive. Absolutely Gem. The food was delicious too had the scallops. And a steak for dinner perfectly cooked, that onion thing that comes with the steak( sorry don’t know the name) perfect. So good I would rather have two of this instead of chips. Dessert very good and huge too. Would of give 6 stars to Kristin if google would allow me.

Amazing food. On more than one occasion I have had a steak here now and they always melt in your mouth. Service was friendly and in good time considering the number of people there. Didn't feel crowded or rushed. Will definitely be going again. Nice quiet location away from mk town centre with many free parking spaces.

The steak was shipped in a cardboard bowl with a plastic lid. It was pretty cool when it arrived and the steak juices had condensed inside the tub, the steak was rubbery like it had been boiled. The rest of the juices had soaked into the onion loaf, giving it a consistency similar to wet tissue paper. A side of chips were missing. I eat at Miller and Carter about 6 - 8 times per year and it is normally great so I thought I would try the take away. This was a mistake.

Excellent food, atmosphere and service

it was horrendous, first of all with your 3 course menu you tell me that you have no Fillet steak left and no substitute for it so you couldn't help me and that if I wanted Fillet then i have to pay more.. So i had to go with the 8oz Ribeye instead... This steak was so bad I nearly choked on the Fat which ran all the way through the steak, it literally had no meat to it.. I told the waitress and again I couldn't believe I was told oh well some steaks are bad as if she didn't care about I had just paid £35.00 for a steak that i didn't like... This was unacceptable - I certainly wont be coming back soon even though i've been a regular customer for a very long time - i was completely let down!!! Oh and just to add the Calamari was stone cold and my sons garlic bread was soggy! It wasn't just the steak that was bad!

A lovely place to go and eat. When we went it wasn't overly busy. The food and service was good

Amazing meal, our waitress (Ula) remembered us from 3-6 months prior, remembered my wine preference and was very prompt and efficient with everything we needed. We were looked after incredibly well and the food was delicious (exception being the garlic mushrooms which I’d advise against ordering) however the rest was incredible/faultless!! Also recommend Agauribay for wine!

I had an excellent meal at Miller and Carter. The food was perfect, and as always, the service was outstanding. I couldn't recommend it more to my friends and family. My server, Sharon, was especially amazing—fast, efficient, and most of all, friendly. Me and my partner will continue to have all dates nights and special occasions here.

Really slow service behind the bar. 4 of us only went in for one round of 2 x Calypso coffee, 1 flat white, and 1 rum with ice. Can't blame it on the staff as there simply aren't enough of them on duty. It's never changed since it opened. Other customers told can't order food for 30 mins then 30 mins later told another 15 to 20 mins wait. It's shocking, really.

We go fairly regularly (especially birthdays) and it’s a favourite of both kids. Far better than the old Toby Carvery it used to be. They also understand the difference between blue and rare.

Food was amazing as usual! The Shenley Church End Miller & Carter is our favourite 😊 Kristen is a fantastic waitress and we had a great time!

Had a fantastic meal. The food was absolutely delicious, had the cheese and bacon burger which honestly might be the best burger I’ve had in a very long time. Will definitely be visiting another location for that burger alone. Also had the crème brûlée which was just delicious and a great way to finish. Sharon who severed us was lovely and provided great service. I do no agree with some comments that the main food was a little slow coming out but other than that the experience was perfect. Definitely recommend and would come again.

Service great, steak was tough and gristly

Nice restaurant, lovely food. Don't expect alot more than a bite if you order grilled lobster tail. Bit pricey.

Decent food and service. Prices have gone up since my last visit but the selection was good as always. Steak cooked how you like. Plenty of parking as well
