Really good service with Andi, she was so sweet and brought us the gluten free menu too. The food was very good, quite quick service as well.

I've been here on a few occasions for work, and I can confirm I've never once been let down. Today, Emma Emma and Emma delivered exceptional service whilst also being relatively new to the role (unbeknown to me until I asked), natural talent in the form of both the service and attention to detail. I wish her every success in the future. And would like to express my thanks for the wider team and kitchen staff. The food was great (as reflected by the above rating), and I can confirm I'll be returning soon!

Went for a quick bite to eat at lunchtime, service was good and food was filling and just the right portions.

The food was delicious, especially the grilled salmon. Yavanna served us, she was friendly and made us very welcome. She went above and beyond to help us and make us feel comfortable. She is a real asset to the team. Nice atmosphere, good for couples and families alike. 😊

Came in tonight for the wife’s birthday dinner and we were not disappointed, Yav our server was so nice and had great banter. As for the food we ordered a steak sampler which was delicious and a spiral ribeye, both were spot on and crackin starters aswell burnt ends with just the right amount of chimmi churri. Cool calm vibes, chilled music and nice decor, stayed here couple times and was greeted by a really pleasant host (Andrea), who remembered my previous visit a few months ago. She was very attentive & even remembered my previous order (really impressive). Great starter, sadly my burger was a little over done, but overall a good dining experience & I will certainly be back. Me and a friend went for a few drinks at the bar. It was almost empty and we had to wait at the bar for just over 8 minutes just for someone to serve us at the bar. When we did eventually be served I asked if they had a Raspberry and apple J2O to which I was told with attitude ‘nope. Just those two’ and pointed to two other flavours in the fridge. Being dyslexic I couldn’t read the orange coloured one and said ‘the orange one please’ and he rolled his eyes at me. A second time my friend went up to the bar for a drink who members of staff at the end of the bar was stood chatting, both looked at my friend and carried on their conversations until it was convenient for them to serve my friend. Do not recommend, bad service and won’t be returning!

The staff at this restaurant were simply amazing. I was dining in on my own as part of a business trip and was made to feel so welcomed and looked after by Andra. Great food, great staff and great vibe. The 2for1 cocktails before 8pm made it even better🙂

Decided to order some food from the bar after waiting 10 minutes for the bar to be manned! Given food by waitress and walked off - no cutlery or condiments that are all held behind the bar, so had to get myself from behind the bar (not an area you are meant to go as a punter). Amazing lack of attention. To be fair, the manageress works really hard but the staff around are just poor. Food average, once I could eat it. But it gets worse, At 9.31 called last orders 🤷‍♂️ (no reason given except we can close when we want) 9.40 three residents walked in, told closing and to go up the road if wanted a drink. In all my years, never seen anything like it! Wish I had recorded it! Avoid like the plague! Nice basic place but shame about the staff. Hopefully their employers pick this up albeit I doubt it.

Fabulous meal in a lovely setting. Having a severe nut allergy I rarely eat out but was put at ease from the moment I walked through the door. Our waiter was genuine and engaging. All agreed it was a lovely place to return to whether for work or pleasure. We will return.

We came and ate here 1/3/24 and it was amazing!. The staff was incredible all very friendly and accommodating we had a server called Liesa (hopefully the correct spelling) and she was amazing. The food was so good and tasted so fresh and we all found something we liked.

Amazing food and great service. Our waitress Yav was very welcoming and nice. We ordered some wings and mac and cheese bites for starters which were delicious ! (Especially mac&cheese bites) For mains we had burger and ribs and OMG my ribs were probably the best I had in MK!:) Tiramisu for dessert was also fantastic and not too sweet…served in a nice glass :) Would 100% recommend and will definitely come back

The two stars are for the friendly waiting staff and the delicious cocktail. The food, however, was a disappointment. We had to return the spiral fillet steak because it came rare (we asked for medium); when it came back, it was still rare, and was thrown carelessly on the plate. The other steaks were tough and cooked inconsistently. The chips were mediocre. Hugely overpriced. You'd be better off buying a supermarket steak!

Came here on Sunday, wasn't planned but we found ourselves in the area. Absolutely gorgeous Sunday Lunch - had the Ultimate (cause I'm greedy 😂) it was delicious + highly recommend - will plan another visit soon. Big thanks to Kate and the Team ❤️

My wife suggested trying out Bar + Block for a steak dinner, so we gave it a go. We had the fillet steak and it didn’t disappoint. My only criticism was the speed of the service; it took a fair while to get our first round of drinks, and the place at that point was empty other than another table. All in all though, an enjoyable meal and experience.

Returned here many times. Nice restaurant and comfortable surroundings Felt on this occasion, probably due to costs, my feta salad was mostly onion… which was disappointing and less chicken on my skewer , again more onion.

Good food, steak cooked really well. The service was friendly. Little disappointed with items unavailable on the menu. I imagine this place has a good lively atmosphere on a Friday and Saturday evening. We went mid week, so was a little quiet.

Majorly Long wait from starter to main. Our one kid meal was sat under the hot lamp for 25mins. My meal came with the wrong chips and was tepid. Restaurant looks nice at one point we couldnt see any staff any where. We asked for the bill the waitress was polite and appologetic the manager swanned over with his card and didnt read the room where we were dissipointed and didnt want small talk. No appology just i came with my card. We came here as the barn beefeater had an issue with their electric wont be visiting again over priced food for such a slow service.

Very pleasant staff and good value meal. I had lamb Sunday roast which had a good selection of vegetables. The lamb was dry and overcooked which surprised me as it was 1 o clock and only just started serving. Also not sure what part of the animal it came from as didn’t resemble leg or shoulder, but overall a pleasant experience made good by the friendly staff.

Our waitress Kate was always smiling and nothing was too much. My fillet was cooked by Toby to perfection. Drinks were poured and served quickly by the barman Mickey. Overall a perfect evening with great ambience.

Yesterday I walked for half an hour to come to this shop, intending to find a steak shop with good taste and affordable price. I didn't expect to find it in one go. I thought the price was very expensive because of the decoration style I saw outside the door. I saw that there was a lunch menu with a choice of three dishes for 15 pounds or two dishes for 13 pounds. I ordered an appetizer, a main course and a dessert. The presentation of the food is very nice and suitable for taking photos and sharing. In addition, the service attitude is also very good, they will take care of your needs at any time and don't mind chatting with guests. If you are interested, you can try it

If you have a food allergy, avoid at all costs. The staff response (from Whitbread PLC) is that they cannot guarantee there will be no cross contamination but they will try their best. Sounds like Russian roulette? Couldn’t book online as said it was fully booked…phoned and told only available time was 1530…and guess what…it was 90% empty!!! Poor

Visited here on Boxing Day evening (26/12/23) whilst looking for somewhere to grab a Steak or Burger without spending a fortune. This place was very welcoming and friendly. The food was good quality and freshly prepared (see pictures). The Bread served with the chicken skewer wasn’t flat-bread (as advertised) but hey, this was Boxing Day and supplies have probably run low. I’ve gone totally Gluten-Free now and there is a GF Menu available which is reasonably well proportionate. No GF Beers available! Take note! Our Waitress was very friendly and helpful. Would visit here again and will try a Steak. The place is very clean and new with a good selection of drinks and dishes. The Manager said that parking is free right outside the Restaurant, but do check up on this before leaving your car as I wouldn’t trust any MK parking Patrol. This could have been a five star, but no GF Beers and a few small anomalies knocked it off the five star for me. However, don’t let this put you off. It’s a radiant, clean and friendly place with good food and friendly Staff to help you. *Edit* Just checked my receipt and was charged for a GF Peroni which I didn’t actually get. That’s £4.90 you owe me Bar & Block! 👍

Went for a birthday meal with family, close to Christmas this however on the night meant being amongst Christmas parties! There seemed to be priority on the Christmas parties at points however the service team kept checking on us to give us updates regarding our food and drinks. Overall the venue and staff are great just don’t go during Christmas season unless it’s your Christmas do. Food was lovely overall and very generous portions as well as this we were able to use our 33% off voucher making the price very reasonable for 6 people eating.

Stayed at the premier inn and my company had arranged a meal deal. I paid some extras and had a gorgeous rib eye steak and salad with their block steak sauce. Gorgeous. Cooked perfectly for my taste. They packaged me up my cheese and biscuits to take back to the room. I ate there around 8.30 on Tuesday 21/11/23 and the service was excellent. Really friendly staff and who I presumed was the manager/shift lead made me laugh as he was so funny. I was on ma own away on business and after a heavy day this was so appreciated. Thanks all of you. I’d stayed in Crewe Tue night before and it was a huge disappointment-so this experience ended my business trip on a high. Highly recommend.

Drove past after going to ifly and it looked inviting,so thought we would go see what they had. Great ladies served us and the food was absolutely banging. We had roast dinners except my littlest who had a burger. Everything was polished off . Highly recommended if you live in Milton Keynes or visit it.
