I have just been to watch the fireworks at Lulworth and bought a pizza from Pizza with Love van. My favourite pizza is thin base which we have on holiday in the South of France. The pizza tonight was as good as my French holiday pizza, one of the best pizzaâs Iâve ever had. If I ever need to book for an event/occassion would definitely reccomend. Very friendly customer service too!

Phoenix does incredible vegan food, some of the tastiest I've ever had. I booked (rather last minute but they were very gracious) to have a scone and lemon tart (at The Miggi guesthouse where I had a really lovely stay), a full afternoon tea, and a 3 course dinner. All of these were incredible and very generous with portions. The scones are so very good, fresh and warm, and they come with jam and vegan cream. The lemon meringue tart was beautifully presented and so delicious. The full afternoon was incredibly generous, it was enough for me to have lunch, a small dinner and sweet snacks. Mine included: scrambled tofu sandwiches, homemade sausage roll, homemade cheese with crackers (several different tasty cheese, I especially liked the paprika), two scones with jam and cream, a large homemade cookie, treacle tart... and there were several other delicious items. Phoenix also kindly boxed them up (several boxes!) so I could take them with me on my day out. Dinner was Thai inspired, which I'd not really tasted before and it was really good. The starter was mushroom and homemade seitan (i think) skewers with a delicious sauce. I had booked this without reading the menu first, and so I hugely enjoyed the seitan but I'm not a huge fan of mushrooms, though the sauce was so good I had one skewer of them. When Phoenix saw I hadn't eaten them and I explained, they gave me an extra skewer of seitan, which I hadn't asked for but was very appreciated and kind. So tasty. The main was Thai pho, I think it was called. It was a big bowl of really tasty warming soup, I forget what exactly was in it, but it was super comforting and filling. Pudding was something I'd never had but would eat every day if I could, it was a kind of mango rice pudding and so so tasty. Finally, Phoenix also makes vegan truffles which are complimentary as a guest at The Miggi (very appreciated), and they were so yummy. Overall, if I could eat Phoenix's food everyday I'd be very happy, all of it was delicious and also introduced me to new delicious flavours and vegan food I'd not tried before. 100% cannot recommend enough. (Their prices are also very reasonable, especially for the quantity and quality of what they provide, plus their lovely, friendly attitude. I really enjoyed chatting to them and the friends who were visiting them during my stay at the Miggi. They really made me feel happy and welcome with their character and their cooking!)

My and girlfriends in this picture went to Thailand at the start of this year and wow this restaurant took us back. The memories âŠâŠđ« the food tastes so much like real Thai food we almost forgot where we were for a second, yeah, seriously. Ladies who served us were so sweet! Keep up the great work guys đ

Heard so many goid things about this place and was really looking forward to a meal here with my sister. Very disappointing. Yoghurt bombs to start were amazing but mini poppadoms I think came from a packet. I had chicken murgh and my sister had a king prawn curry. Both very bland - tasted the same but different colours. Service very good but very disappointed with food. Not sure if we chose the wrong things or if it was just a bad night.

We were visiting family in Bideford and decided to come here for the first time for breakfast. Weâre glad we did as the veggie breakfasts were excellent and good value, and service was friendly. Weâd definitely return if we were in Bideford again.

Buzzing modern Thai eatery in the Northern Quarter. The menu consists of mostly small plates. The kohlrabi salad had an interesting mix of peanut and fish sauce. The monkfish yellow curry was bursting with Thai flavours. Small pieces of monkfish were topped with slices of perfect scallops and prawns. I had some chicken rice with it. The rice was delicious )although some would have preferred a plain rice to not interfere with the curry.) The pickled and burnt gem lettuce was delicious too! I finished off with the coconut caramel which was a small cube with a delicate hint of tumeric. The service was efficient and the restaurant was buzzing with a large table of Thai customers enjoying themselves. I would definitely return! The bill came to ÂŁ45 without alcohol. (The reservation required a ÂŁ20 deposit.)

Quite a new establishment in the area. Came in for a takeaway coffee recently, but didnât get any food so canât comment on that. The coffee was nice and they seem to have a lot of fresh produce on offer. Seems like a nice concept, I wish them all the best.
