The best restaurants serving Asian food in England

I've never been disappointed at the Red Star myself and family will always come here if we are in the area. Food is so tasty, not greasey , spices are at the right level. Would I come here again DEFINITELY

No stars if I could - just eat customer services are rubbish food was 90 mins after there predicted time contacted just eat , asked where my food was , got a slightly later delivery time that they also didn’t make - asked just eat for money back and got told that rushi refused my money back as they were going to deliver me something for free and it was going to be with me soon - turns out I got a single poppadom wow !!!- any how food was cold once it got here ,I’m done with just eat !!!!!

I’m not sure what they pump into this food but it surely can’t be good.. after about 2/3 small dishes.. you’re finished! It’s all you can eat but you won’t be able to eat any more! I believe this chain has closed now anyway and the owner is running the Peatmore branch instead.. which seems to be the same setup.. Gotta make their money back somehow! 😅💸

We had booked a table and on arrival were shown to a very small table. It felt very close to a door and the drinks area. We were not served. A guy was then squeezed in next to us and the waitress served him before us. I had to ask to order drinks. We ordered out meal and the starters were great. Food was very nice. Main courses were brought before we had finished. I had ordered prawns as I don't eat meat. They brought chicken in error. This was not good as I don't eat meat. I felt that the overall experience was messy. Food quality was the only good thing

We live local. Got a take away due to exhausted from work. Hardly any food, too costly and to top it off, absolutely no taste to the food!. The tandoori mixed grill was rubbish for £15.00. The silver trays were half empty. Honestly Go somewhere else! They even wrote down my address wrongly so food was cold when it arrived.

Kimchi, steamed fish, aubergine pot, stir fry cabbage, kimchi pancake, soy bean paste tofu stew Absolutely fantastic! No frills, great food. Best kimchi I’ve ever had. Silky steamed fish. Kimchi pancake was a crowd favourite. Cabbage was surprisingly flavourful. Aubergine was authentically (weirdly similar to) Chinese Tofu stew was lacking, the tofu was not soft (per previous experience) but the broth was warm and comforting Had quite a few Chinese dishes on the menu My friend devoured his bbq pork

We had the chicken Katsu Curry. We asked about the special offer and the waitress could not explain it to us. Our starter was fine apart from the duck pancakes we ordered came out as vegetable. When she asked if everything was ok with our starters, I told her we ordered duck spring rolls and had instead received vegetable spring rolls, but had eaten them and just wanted her to know the order was incorrect. So she brought us an order of duck spring rolls when we were eating our main. It did not occur to her to ask if we wanted another portion. She made the assumption despite what I communicated to her. I had eaten the vegetable spring rolls so did not want to have another portion. The katsu curry was awful. Breaded chicken cooked in old oil. With dark grainy curry sauce . I had one fork of the jasmine rice which was starchy, unwashed and aldente. Left my food. I guess I picked the wrong thing and the wrong place to eat. You have to use the same cutlery used for starter, for main. They did not clear our plates before they brought the mains. The prices do not reflect that level of service.

We came here for a birthday and it was a bit of a mixed experience. Service was very average and it took a long time for them to even take our order - which was for hotpot. It then took ages for the soup base to arrive and the ingredient dishes to follow. One was missing and so we then had to chase that one. The air conditioning wasn't working well and so two of our party got a free facial all night long! We also ordered a thai dish which took again took ages and when we chased that up, it came straight away but was cold and congealed. We sent it back (with no issues) and a new dish came out, which was excellent. I really want to like this place and might give it one more go.

That was the last time we’ll use this restaurant, food trays were empty and when asked why nothing was done. Noodles were so greasy it was unreal, duck looked like chicken and there were only few crumbs there, mushrooms were so finally chopped and greasy that they were unbeatable. This used to be a decent restaurant but now it’s gone down hill.

Ordered 4 items for takeaway. Teriyaki fries (missing from delivery) , salt and pepper tofu (delivered salt and pepper chicken), vegan fried rice with vegan duck (delivered with duck meat). Cost a total of £37.78 and only £16.45 of it was delivered or edible. I’ve never been to a more useless takeaway, appalling!

Hi all, this is usually first best halal indo-chines in East end Bricklane side hopefully the new management can handle the business well... 😀 Only take away order is open for collection or app order only. Main restaurant eating inn is close for the near future. Hopefully back in by 2028! Hopefully these don't kill the business by then! All the best...
