Very nice place to eat and delicious food.

Tried to go a few times but always closed.

We went in early 6.30 ish so it was fairly quiet. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Food was really nice. Portions slightly on the smaller side for what I'm used to But OK. Would Def go again. Spent £60 on two people with starters and a bottle of wine which was £14

Very quiet, but that's England at the moment. Chicken tikka jalfrezi was great and washed down with a couple of Cobra...what more could you want! Lovely waiter as well, remembered me from my first visit. Back again today, Tuesday 5th September....had the chicken signature dish and the best chilli and coriander naan I think I have ever had! The place has plenty of capacity and Cobra on draft!

Working away from hoe - dropper in to check it out. They cooked me a special dish - fabulous Ask for the special Bob from Norfolk had.

Food was very good and the service was excellent. I came in during a busy weekend yet the staff were still so kind and attentive

Service was good and the food was average however the price of the drinks were ridiculous bottled sparkling water which had a Asda label on was £2.95 the same pack of 6 in Asda is £1.00 friends had a pint and a half of coke which was out of a bottle and it cost £9.00 I also ordered a Malibu and coke and there was only a splash of Malibu in a very small glass I’m all for making profit but this is just day light robbery

Called just before closing and they said they will still serve me. Nice quiet little place and the service is 10/10. Food was really good !

I was happy with how quick I was able to be seated as was short notice and there were 7 of us, however the dishes I ordered were not nice at all and me and the family are very unhappy with our experience at this restaurant and will not be returning. Also to add, we ordered Coca-Cola for the kids and in front of us opened a large bottle of coke and poured into our glass it was not cold and the glasses weren't even half a pint (drinks were £2 each) our meal came to over £50 and was very small and tasteless.

Was always good but has gone downhill. Had a takeaway Saturday night, 2 chicken bhuna’s. Really disappointing. Not much chicken and was so runny it was more like soup than a curry. Restaurant was empty which isn’t a good sign for a Saturday night. Hope they turn it round otherwise they won’t last with such poor quality food.

Ordered via Uber eats, I’m confused we didn’t get a waiter come to the house to dish up, yet we paid 2.99 service charge and the delivery 🤷. To be fair, the food was lovely though

Must visit restaurant. Came here for the first time with my husband. Walked past the restaurant and the smell and spicy aroma from the restaurant was so tempting that we couldn't resist. We ordered tandoori chicken and tandoori chicken curry. They were divine. Especially the garlic Naan. The service and hospitality was excellent. The polite staff and smiley faces was awesome. Must visit and will definitely come again. Thanks guys. 😊

Never again Staff were lovely but food was discussing. As I was eating my curry it felt like I was eating sand. I think they need to was the spinach. I bet the kitchen is dirty, yac NEVER AGAIN

Worst Balti we'v ever had, ordered two chicken tikka balti's both came swimming in water luke warm and tasteless nan's were poor quality too save yourself some money and go elsewhere the chef should be ashamed for sending out the sub standard mess tonight which ended up in the bin complete waste of time and money

Not even worth one star! Absolutely disgusted!! Ordered from here there was chips stook to my pakora even tho I hadn't ordered any chips, and the curry was that full of grease I could see my reflection in it, the curry looked all curdled and just looked disgusting didn't even risk eating it

Very disappointed with the taste. Was expecting typical subcontinental taste but it was totally opposite. Chicken chilli masala was basically so sweet that i could have had it for dessert. Same goes for mutton jalfrezi.

Great Foood juicy tasting had me wanting more !! The atomsphere was good... Nan bread and popadoms where so nice!!!!

Great takeaway curry and ALWAYS tasty

Ive just had my order off nawab and im not impressed. Ive been using this restuarant for years and ive always rated the food. On this occasion i dont at all. My poppadoms were soggy, my mint sauce was off.these are the basics! On to starter my chicken tikka starter was dry as hell,over cooked and not enjoyable. My main wich was king prawn pathia, again the prawns were over cooked and tough.i ordered 2 chapatis and i only recieved 1. And for this pleasure my order was over 30 mins late. Im not normaly the moaning type but this tonite was not gud at all. Like i say the food is normaly pretty good but unfortunatly tonite they got it wrong!

Absolutely awful experience. Ordered at 19:20, over an hour and a half later and no sign of delivery. Had to call to chase it up, they then delivered the wrong order. Took 20 minutes to collect that, and then never delivered my actually order. Over an hour later at 21:30 and two phone calls later there was no sign of my order so we cancelled. Luckily justeat gave us a refund. Would never ever order from this place ever again.

Well what a joke of a service. Over half an hour late for delivery, then the incorrect (and cold) meals arrive, the delivery driver (who is apparently the manager today and can arrange a full refund 👍🏻) rocks up again to take the food away after another half an hour...but doesn’t have our order...then after another lengthy wait and numerous phone calls we are told our food will be another half an hour because the delivery man (/manager!) is delivering other meals. Will not be ordering from here again!

Family owned business been in the area for 30+ years...My parents went here first never disappointed us...Classic great tasting indian food...

I’ve visited this place many many times and the service, food and hygiene has never failed to remain at a high standard. I would definitely recommend coming here if you’re local if you want amazing food with friendly staff, 10/10!

Been visiting this place for over 20 years and whilst not the best Indian restaurant you’ll visit, the experience has always been a positive one, until yesterday.Started with stale poppadoms, followed by a cold starter and then whilst the majority of main courses were okay, the buttered chicken was swimming in oil, such that it slipped everywhere on its way to the table.They are clearly breaking in a new waiter, badly, as we ended up clearing our own plates to another table after waiting 10 minutes or so, and it wasn’t even busy. When he finally brought a round of drinks he through one glass of wine right over my son and myself, not impressed.Finally, whilst they’ve never been the best, they’ve always been clean, until last night, the toilets were filthy, cobwebs etc, which worries me about the rest of the restaurant, and this wasn’t even late. We’ll be giving it a miss from now on.

As always this place is the first port of call for great authentic food. Well done to the guys there.

I have been going here for nearly thirty years and I love this place went with friends last night to celebrate her birthday. I hadn’t been for 18 moths to 2 years but as soon as we entered we were greeted by Martin who knows me and we met Abdul also very friendly. The food and the food was excellent as usual my friends had never been before but they were very impressed keep up doing what your doing and we will see you again very soon

Visited for 1st time in a few months and noticed straight away it had had a re fresh. Was bright,clean and accommodating. Staff were very attentive and funny.kept us laughing throughout our visit. Food was fresh,hot and well served. It was complimented by some fresh orange after our meal. Will definitely be going back soon!!.well done nawabs.

This has been the second time we have visited the Nawab Restaurant it's has been amazing the top waiter always make everyone happy and making shore everything is ok we have been eating Indian food for a long time going to a lot of restaurant but we have just found the best one who is lovely jubbly and so happy with his job looking after every one we will recommend every one to just go and try for there self it is funny just like forthy tower Mr manwell we will recommend all Ower family and friends to go to the Nawab and see how funny the lovely jubbly waiter is you can get better food else where but not an top waiter like there so well done Mr waiter thanks you for looking after us again lovely jubbly jobs a gooden

food quickly prepared and as tasty as ever. as i get older i prefer taste over heat, and this place gives you that, along with polite friendly service.

The staff were welcoming from the second we got there, very friendly making sure our experience was perfect. Checking we were ok and asking when we were ready for our meals to come out. Staff were very entertaining and made sure everything was lovely jubbly. We will be returning, fantastic little curry house and a good price too! Thank you John Smith!

Me and my family have book the restaurant on Friday we have going to the Nwab restaurant for a long time but this has been one of the best days since we have been going there the waiter called Abdul has great us straight away and sat us down with his Christmas hat while we was there out the day the waiter was given us some of his jokes entertainment it was so nice of his we will go back again and once again thank you Abdul for a nice day .

Walked out after the waiter frantically waved poppadoms in my face explaining that" they're hot" only to find them soggier than Whitney's last spliff. Toilets need cleaning .

We went to the nawab last night as we have been going to this Indian restaurant for years and have always had excellent food.

Years and years I have been eating in this restaurant, and since the makeover it's absolutely fantastic! Think we had the most glorious curry ever. Compliments to the chef and the staff for a lovely evening.

We've been going to this restaurant for the past 30 years. Havent been for a while but our latest visit was totally sub-standard. Wont be going again.

Cheerful enough but not very busy when we visited at about 7:45pm on a Friday night. Service was very good, the food was nice and every where was very clean; prices were reasonable too. There wasn't much atmosphere but that may be because only one other table was occupied.

First time at nawab service excellent .great food. Will definitely go back.

We always go there when visiting my mother in law as we live in France we don't have much Indian food. It is very clean, the staff are friendly and the food tastes good.

The food is bland as ever.. Aloo Subzi was served as Aloo chaat... the chicken biryani didn’t have any salt or any flavour to it... what I would call this is a pan biryani and not dum Biryani which would make it authentic ... plus the rice was low calibre basmati wouldnt be back to this place again...

Average food, nothing special, but not the worst I’ve ever had. But, the whole meal one of the waiters stood right by the door looking over to us as though we were going to ‘do a runner’. The place was empty, maybe because this is the norm.

I eat here quite often. It is very local to me, the staff know me and are very nice. The restaurant has a nice decor and the table are nicely laid. It is licensed and the food is lovely, the portions are just right and the prices are reasonable.

watery food , plain disgusting DO NOT ORDER

So me, my wife and 2 friends visited here late last night. Waiter wasnt very smily maybe because it was very late? Ordered lamb balti, chicken tikka massala, 2 tandoori roti and 1 naan plus popadums for a starter. Starter was ok naan and rotis were both of a very good standard but both curries were tiny hardly any meat! Sauce was oily and watery and not much substance or flavour to it? Right so Mrs been puking up all night and had the runs ive had runs too even though i got a cast iron stomach! We both shared the "Lamb Balti" hmmm. I've given this curry house one circle and only because of the quality of the breads. Do not visit here even if you are starving!!!! I really thought these kind of places had been eradicated but obviously they still exist.

Food was so bad worst in the area 100% no lamb in the lamb balti and tasted like it was out of a jar not fresh atall. and the naan bread also not fresh made it was the same i buy from asda and popperdoms were stale and its more expensive than the other curry houses would not recommend mine all went in the bin you would be wasting your money. ide say the only good reviews are people that work there or people that know the resturant and how nice the guys are but the food shockingly bad.

Bad experience, food inedible, staff patronising

We ordered a takeaway delivery from this restaurant. It arrived in good time, however this is where it went horribly wrong. The driver apologized for the fact that oil/ghee had spilt all over the containers. Where the oil came from is uncertain although the amount of oil on the food was a good indicator. Each dish was swimming/drowning in 1:1 ratio of curry v ghee. The chicken dishes had approximately 2 average sized pieces of meat and hundreds of tiny crumb sized pieces. The worst was discovered when opening the vegetable balti dish. The vegetables consisted of potato which had been reduced to a lumpy mash consistency and grey coloured onions plus one carrot! To be fair even the lone carrot looked confused as to why he was there. We stood back and perused the situation before deciding that it wasn't worth the risk to attempt to sample the delights before us. We made contact with the restaurant who said we will "talk to driver and call you back"

Absolutely DISGUSTING!! Food was freezing cold...phoned up and they say nothing i can do and to phone just wat for a refund!!! What?! Im taking this sooooo mich further!! The cheek!!

One tikka masala, one chicken dopiaza, very bland curry with no flavour to it all, it tasted like it had water added to it, both curries looked the same.

I've never written a negative review about a takeaway before, but the food was utterly disgusting. The taste of the food itself was undetectable through the thick pools of grease visibly floating both in mine and my partner's meals. Neither of us got anywhere near finishing, but the thought of eating anything else afterwards was simply unappealing. The one star is earnt merely on the fact there were no razor blades amongst the food, though I suppose at least that would've given it some bite.

Naan far to doughy and masala very bland. Spent £15 to know not to order from there again. Food had no taste and paswari naan was more normal naan than sweet. It did have a good reputation a few years ago but now I'll stick to the red oven in bearwood. After looking forward to a curry I put most in the bin.

Due to the snow tonight we walked round to eat in. It was freezing in there so we had a takeaway. Not had one there before. Poppadoms were stale..not crispy. Chicken tikka Madras curry and chicken tikka marsala had more ghee in than sauce and it was so runny it was like watery gravy with loads of oil floating on top. Chicken was not like chicken tikka. We didnt eat it it went in the bin once we had tried it. If it wasn't for the snow I would have taken it back. Never again. Staff were nice though and nan bread. £25 wasted

Patronising staff. Can't comment on Indian food, but the roast chicken was exceptionally dry, and tasteless only flavour from the Asian spices previously used in whatever they used to cook it in. As the reason for having chicken was to avoid these spices. Not pleased.

Visited here by chance really due to the bad weather we were forced to cancel our usual restaurant some miles away. We were very surprised at the quality of the meals we ordered and how wel they were presented, very tasty food, good service. We will return again
