A cozy place with good food. High standards and lovely atmosphere. The owner Tarik has the place laid down with good prices.

The flow was simply awesome . The food just not only hit the tummy but it hits the heart .... Highly recommended.

Only one word....... Amazing Naaga chicken or lamb is a must try.

We waited 1 hour for the food to arrive at our tables in an almost empty restaurant. Naans, tarka daal, chicken tikka badami and lamb biryani were very tasty, unfortunately with very little meat. The curry sauce was tasteless. The mixed grill was a mistake, very small and the meat was not done properly. The waiters were rather miserable. This was our second time there, but I don't think we'll be back any time soon. Better places in the area with good, friendly service. The positive thing here is that you can bring your own alcohol.

Excellent food as usual & service was impeccable

First time visitor. We enjoyed the food , the staff are attentive but not intrusive - we'll definitely be back - the naan bread alone is to die for! Only let down was that the meals were so filling we couldn't manage a dessert - because they looked fab on the menu! Venue is not licensed, so BYOB - but then, the choice of drink is your own 👍🏼

We have been visiting this restaurant for several years for different occasions, food is really good, however it's not just about the food, we had telephone booked a table for 4 people a few days before our evening, we were sat at our table by a member of staff, then we were pushed to put our food order in, did that, then we constantly had 2 waiters hanging around us while eating who whipped away our plates before we had actually finished our food, how absolutely rude, then one waiter came over & said we have booked this table for a large party due in, & we shouldn't have been sat where we were, then he accused us of being walk in customers, I promptly told him we had booked our table by phone a few days earlier, then he brought us our bill which we hadn't asked for, we were still in the middle of our drinks. Then they asked us to leave, we had literally been in the restaurant one hour & 15 minutes, this is absolutely disgusting, we felt rushed by rude staff who were trying to act friendly when we left, how bad you are & despite lovely food, you will start losing your custom, you certainly won't be seeing us again, a real shame, if you can't cater for 2 hours per table then you shouldn't make reservations for them.

Ordered food several times now for delivery. Always arrives within the hour, and never disappointed with the quality

The Best Curry I've had in 10 years. Absolutely beautiful taste, Execelant quality. Good customer service. They only snag I've got, is that the Poppadoms are not free, you have to order ＆ pay for them where as most other restaurants give them to you free just as you order you Drinks ＆ Food. Pitty I don't live over there as I'd make a special trip to there once a week.

Lovely staff and great food. I had the chicken tika chilli masala and really enjoyed it. Best curry ive had in a while and I will be returning. They are not licensed , but you can take your own alcohol. Oh and the cheese and garlic naan is the best I've ever had! Edit 23.10.23 - I gave the above review and 5 stars 3 years ago (thats how long I have been using them) and Major Curry Affair has been my go to curry house during this time. However, over the last 2 x weeks I have gone to dine in and ordered takeaway and have recently started to feel disappointed. The currys have become lacking in meat, both my takeaway and dine in had next to no meat. I had 4 x VERY small pieces of lamb with my dine in and there was a lump of fat rather than lamb also. My takeaway was the same 4 or 5 tiny pieces of chicken. During my recent dine in, I found the waiter abrupt and rushed, he asked my friend what he wanted then moved onto me, without letting him finish, my friend had only ordered curry and still needed to order rice, nann etc... waiter reached over me from behind to place food, rather than go to the end of the table and I found this uncomfortable. As we had a small table, there wasn't enough room for everything and very cramped. It's a shame, but due to the disappearing meat and drop in standards service wise, I will be trying elsewhere. The prices have gone up over the years by quite a bit, so I can't see why they are needing to cut back on meat and meat sizes in the dishes

Visited tonight with my friend and her daughter. Was greeted by the most surly, miserable waiter ever. If you don’t like your job, get another. Ordered poppadums, rather stale with green nuclear dip. Felt pressured into ordering, ordered chicken tikka masala and chicken Tawa. The tikka masala was blood red. God knows how many additives were in that. The Tawa tasted straight out of the jar……vile. Got the bill, then left. Vile food, bad service, won’t be returning !!!!!

Food was lovely but after 1hr 30 came give us the bill and said they needed the table for next people.Was a bit like you have had your food now get gone

Amazing food I had the Lamb Tikka Stir Fry, the Chicken Jalfrezi, Garlic Naan and Black Coffee all of exceptional quality. Service excellent and a lovely restaurant.

We were a group of 14 adults, Staff were amazing some of us ordered starters, and the mains were ordered at the same time. Starter meals came quickly, which we thoroughly enjoyed, we had different variety of main meals all came out together food was hot and tasty. The restaurant serves refreshment drinks, not alcohol but are happy for you to bring your own. We as a group had a great time will definitely be going again.

Fantastic service here and food is by far outstanding. Had many times now different curries and starters all wonderful. Food was absolutely lovely and very quick service but unfortunately waiters seemed in a rush to get us out even thoughthe restaurant was half empty? They bought us the bill when we hadn't asked for it while we were enjoying a nice conversation after eating then asked us how we were paying only a few minutes after being given the bill. It made us feel very uncomfortable so we left earlier than we would have!! It's a shame really as a restaurant meal is about the food, conversation and atmosphere but the latter was missing 😕

Had a leaflet through the door, thought I would try it as it is hard to find a good curry house I unfortunately I was not impressed the food was only warm the chips were only warm the chicken balti was nice but the popperdoms were soft.

As an expat on holiday in the area from France, I wanted to introduce my French partner to the joy of a good curry. We were staying not far away so just went on the recommendations by Google in choosing a restaurant. We were not disappointed. Excellent, friendly service and really tasty food with a new twist on traditional dishes. It was a hit.

Waited an hour and a half. Ordered chicken madras, got lumps of chicken (probably from Iceland).in a hot sauce e. No flavour at all. Last time I use them

Eaten there a few times, last but one time ,terrible, so give it another chance, ordered 2 madras meals and 1 lamb bunna again terrible. Just hot sauce with meat. Won't be using again. They charge for delivery. Charge for service and charge for bags !!!. Sorry but never again.

Had a takeaway tonight for me and my wife and the food was tasteless worst I've ever had . Keema nan with no keema aswell. Never again

Wish I could give no stars at all to this place,absolutely disgrace!! We have eaten here on a number of occasions but won't be in the future. On the whole staff are chatty and friendly but the guy who was there tonight obviously has a problem with my husband. We have seen him there before and he has had a bit of a stare. Went in tonight and he said they were fully booked for the evening. I went back to the car and made two telephone bookings with them immediately after !! Not sure who on earth he thinks he is but he is losing the restaurant bookings and money!! I will only be reto make a huge complaint!!

We've arrived to their restaurant really late (20 minutes before shutting), however, the hospitality we've received is unbelievable. Meal was delicious from start to end. Lamb and Chicken were both absolutely scrumptious. Fantastic service, amazing food and great prices. Well done guys. I really hope they open a branch in Birmingham.

I eat here once a month in the restaurant and its ok most of the time.But i ordered a takeaway Friday they quoted me one hour which i was fine with the curry came within 30 mins great news .Sat down to eat the curry the poppadoms were stale and the Vindaloo was shocking it had three pieces of small chicken in and the sauce was like they had just remembered it was a Vindaloo and they tossed it on top SHOCKING STANDARD OF FOOD took two bites and put the rest in the bin real shocking takeaway.Then ordered another curry from CELLARS Stourbridge which was fantastic fantastic food Sorry guys you have lost yet another customer.

Expensive menu! Meal for 2 came to about 55 great British pounds. Almost had a heart attack. However the food was pretty decent. We move!

Been here a few times and always had a good meal however i booked a table for 3 to take some friends who had never been and when we turned up we were told they hadn’t got a table for us as another table had come in late and it was going to be 20-30 minutes wait for a table. I suggested that If that had been the case they should have called me and we could have come later, to which the staff just looked sheepish. No apology, no offer to come back again to make it up etc etc , we left and won’t be returning.

Decided to have a change from our local, favourite restaurant. Always a worry and for us the bar is set. MCA did not disappoint. We booked online. I had to call to ask if the booking has been accepted which was a bit of a pain but off we go. Since we last visited a few years back the place has had a tasteful revamp but is no longer licenced. A quick trip to the petrol station sorted that after we ordered. The staff were all really friendly and helpful, the place was buzzing. The food is slightly more expensive than our fave place, but, well worth the extra. The food was tasty and really fresh. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Don’t like the fact you pay here for poppadoms/chutney tray, think this is now adopted in some restaurants, prefer (obviously) not to have to pay for sundries like this, 75p per poppadom is also a little too much, but that’s just a small gripe of mine We will definitely be returning and next time with more family!!

Rubbish customer service. They need to update their websites closing time. Rang twice to book and they say they're not taking any bookings and this was at 8.20pm and they say they stop taking orders for 9pm and close at 9.30pm. Why would you even ask on the original phone call 8.20pm on what time would you want a booking on the day if they close at 9pm like they expect someone to arrive in the next 5mins. Idiots!

Fabulous food and even better environment. We’ve been visiting here for over 10years and feels like family. We’ve never had a bad meal. Staff are very welcoming.

I have used Major curry affair Tipton many times over the years, eating in, brilliant, takeaway fine, but last visit was dreadful, flavour, great, but almast £8 for 4 pieces of chicken, not acceptable, something was wrong from walking in, ordered online but I recon it was not ready and they used what they had at the time, waited 20mins, so they just lost a customer.

Food was excellent, fantastic service, didn't need to wait long for food and very good prices. I advise everybody to pick here and try it out . You.wont be disappointed.

After driving past and seeing the unusual building that the restaurant is in we had to check it out! We were not disappointed to say the least. Perfectly balanced spices. Genuinely lovely staff, really kind. One of the best lamb seekh I have ever had! The cheese naan was to die for, WOW!!!

Apparently at this restaurant you can only eat here if every person orders a curry?!?!? We ordered a curry rice chips side dish salad but that wasn’t enough for me and my hubby we had to order another curry, management policy. Been for loads of curry’s never been made to order a curry each 😟😟 Starters popadoms and chutney tray were disappointing, the onion salad was lacking taste no red sauce or lime pickle . My Madras was ok hubby did not like his Jalfrezi. The Tarka Dhal lacked taste and was watery. This restaurant did not live up to the reviews left on here. Only positive I would give is it’s reasonably priced but I’d rather pay more for tastier food. Where we was sat was by the door and it was chilly. The staff were friendly however seemed to be having a better evening than us they were having a right good giggle 🤣🤣
