Always good food with great service

its my worst experience ever the food was soo pathatic. i was with my partner and said them for mild spicy tikka garlic but the curry was too sweet and doesnt seems like asian food. moreover they are much expensive as compared to the other good asian food points and service wise the staff was unethical and not cooperative. honestly not recommended just spend ur money somewhere good place

Dining at Dilshad Blackheath was an outstanding experience from beginning to end. Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by the courteous staff and quickly seated in an inviting and tastefully decorated environment. The menu offers a delightful mix of traditional favorites and innovative dishes. I began with the tandoori Mix Grill, which was a perfect harmony of flavors and textures. For my main course, I chose the Saira's Naga Tikkah, and it was absolutely exquisite. The freshness of the ingredients, the beautiful presentation, and the taste were all exceptional. The service was flawless – the staff were attentive, well-informed, and clearly passionate about the food. Their recommendations were spot-on and they ensured that my dining experience was perfect. To finish, I had the banana frita and a coffee floater, which was a divine treat and the ideal conclusion to an incredible meal. In summary, Dilshad Balti surpassed all my expectations. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone seeking an extraordinary dining experience with top-notch service. Five stars without a doubt!

I ordered a fish pakora I’ve never seen anything like it £9 called to complain I was just told if I didn’t like there food don’t order from them again and slammed the phone down absolutely disgusting and rude will definitely not be using them again

First time ordering from here and it was Genuinely the best Indian takeaway curry I've ever eaten. Had chicken tikka tawa and it was amazing. Can't imagine I'll be ordering from anywhere else any time soon.

right. this visit was a. wait actually it was a disgrace. i was going to be nice and say this visit was a disaster but that’s too nice and doesn’t begin to explain the complete ordeal i have experienced at this dilshad (blackheath). my seat that i sat on (the window seat you know the one) had a stain on it. the prices have gone up so so so so so so so much, i cannit believe it. the chicken tikka was not ok. it was far from it. there was barely any tikka to it. may as well have gotten chicken from the butchers and called it quits there. the onion bhaji: where was my onion?!?! anyway i had a really nice time and me and my friend really enjoyed myselves at this fine establishment. thank you dilshad blackheath we’ll be back please keep my seat by the window with the stain warm for my next arrival xxx love you all stay blessed xx

Ordered food from here. Three different curries. 2 chicken and 1 meat bhuna. Both chicken curries tasted off. Clearly they used the same onion base which was off and serving customers with it. Tasted disgusting and smelt off. How do you serve people knowing it? Indian restaurants have become a joke. One curry costs 7 to 8 pounds. The amount of meat in my container was less than 1 pound worth and the bhauna tasted like water. Yes water. Which is free from my sink. The chicken is always rubbery and dead in flavour. Indian restaurants are in it for the money not because they know how to cook or proper hygiene. They all need to shut down every last one of them. You rather cook your food than orderfrom these places man. Completely lost faith in delivery food from indian restaurants. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE. ALL YOU WILL GET IT OFF FOOD. MONEY GONE.

Ordered for delivery at 19:20pm and it didn't arrive until 21:20pm. Food was ok but, not worth a 2 hour wait. Certainly won't be ordering ever again.

Ordered a delivery through Uber Eats, after waiting 1hr 1/2 called the restaurant and they said it was on the way. After 2hrs tried to call again and again but no one ever answered and the order never arrived. Usually a reliable place so this was hugely disappointing. Avoid ordering to avoid disappointment!

Asked me to hold on when ringing for delivery i said no problem was waiting then heard the guy pick up the other phone and take someones else's order totally unacceptable

Went day on the 14th of January staff very polite couldn't fault anything food 100% service 100% atmosphere 100% go there have a meal can't fault it stop very polite and helpful

Food was excellent as was the coffee. Good strong brewed coffee rather than instant. Layout plenty of space for a disabled person. I didn't use the bathroom so can't comment on that.

I can summarize my experiences of using this restaurant as follows; Excellent service - Staff are courteous, frienfly warm and attentive Excellent Food - Never had a bad experience. So tasty and consistent. Value for money - Check out the 5 course Menu offered from Sunday to Thursday. I have been using this place for years and never disappointed. Well done team and keep up the good work!

We ordered a take away from this restaurant being told it was a 90 minutes wait 2 hours after it still hadn't arrived so we called to ask where it was. to be told it was on its way to then wait another 40 minutes living only 5/10 minutes away we called again they told us it was due to temporary traffic lights this is why it was taking so long to ask when it would be here they told us it was still an extra 10 minutes. All in all we are not happy with this service waiting over 2 hours for this take away.

Can’t praise this place enough ! Always number one for eat in or takeaway. Outstanding service and always pleasant lads ! Been using it for years and will continue ! Merry Xmas !

Great little dining spot in the centre of Blackheath. I had the lamb bhuna and my friend had a masala paneer. Lovely for stopping off and having a tasty, reasonably priced meal. Friendly staff and good food. Would recommend.

Was honestly shocked with how disappointing the food was, both the curry & naan was not to my liking. The butter chicken was very bland tasting and had no flavour to it whatsoever. The curry also only had 7 chunks of chicken but they were big pieces to be fair, however comparing this to other places I’ve had the taste and portion size was poor. First bad garlic naan I’ve had and for the price it’s awfully small. Overall not a great meal but it wasn’t inedible. If you’ve read this review don’t let it be the reason you don’t try Dilshad, this is just my personal thoughts.

Hadn't been for couple years and have to say was pleasantly surprised. They offer standard menu or set menu which was food value for money. Chicken was a bit chewey in mine but service was fab.

Went on a Tuesday evening, fairly quiet but understandable. Great food and staff were more than welcoming and polite. We were a group of 3 adults and 2 very energetic kids - staff were more than accomodating with the complexities that go hand in hand with that. If you're driving, there's a Lidl car park across the road and a pay and display just behind the restaurant.

Been eating at this restaurant for years and always been decent food, ordered today, waited an hour and 40 minutes and it turns up freezing cold, phoned them to be told I should wait for another delivery after the long wait, will never eat there again

When here with the family and took advantage of the £9.99 4 course offer and I have to say the service was impeccable and the food was really good tasty and hot. If you want to enjoy an alcohol drink you will need to take your own as they don't have a licence to serve. The resturant wasn't very busy when we went so it was nice and comfortable but we did go quite early, about 18:30 ish. Parking is an issue as the nearest is the Wilkos over the road but its £5 for 2 hours which i think is a bit steep. There is a German supermarket a short 3-4 minute walk away but I'm not sure they would appreciate people parking there to visit the local restaurant, I suppose you could go and buy a bar of chocolate or something and then go for your meal. Will deffinatly be going back again

Used this restaurant for the first time from a friend's recommendation and it was by far the best food I have had in many years, Absolute gem of a place. This is my new go to Indian now and will be for many years to come.

Had the four course menu for £9.95 was a fair hoice on there but could perhaps donwoth adding a few more options but for the price not bad. Food was good not too greasy and had pointy of flavour. Staff are always friendly

My daughter requested to go for her 13th birthday as we’ve eaten here before and she loved it on both occasions. Food was gorgeous, cooked fresh 🙂chicken Biryani, butter chicken and chicken tikka masala were all devoured! The food here is always great never disappointed! We will be back.

Ive had quite a few take aways from this amazing restaurant, and have been thrilled everytime by the quality , freshness and taste, its simply THE best around for miles for Indian food. Nothing compares. I call even for dishes that are no loner on the menu and still the chef delivers perfection everytime. This is a very knowledgeable chef who has perfected his craft over many years. I would definelty recommend to eat here, as the staff are so great, polite and attentive.

Wont be ordering from here again!! I orderd through Uber eats and when it stated that my food was on it's way I kept a look out. At around 30 mins later still no sign. So I called the reasturant and they had advised the driver should be here shortly. It got to about 20:50 so I called again and they had advised the food had been delivered and been given to a lady and was delivered 45 mins ago, I had said I'm the only lady who lives at this address and i havent seen nothing at all and wasn't impressed. They didnt even offer an apology and all they said we cant give you a refund it must be uber eats. Very poor service.

Well, I was in two minds about leaving a review and here is why. The order I placed was through Uber Eats and with it being the first (up to a specific value), the meal was free. I only had to pay for delivery. Upon excitingly opening the trays, I discovered that it was nowhere near worth the amount spent (thanks Uber). We received one portion of poppadoms even though two were ordered and the size of the lamp chops, wow! You could shake the small foil tray and hear the amount of free space that was in it. It does beg the question as to whether this was done purposely, due to the staff knowing it was a free meal for us. The garlic mushrooms are nice, although, more mushrooms could be added and the amount of onions reduced. The flavour of the chops was okay. The place I did want to order lamp chops from is not on Uber Eats (hopefully, yet!). I decided to try somewhere new and was very disappointed. I shall not spend my own money here. For those wondering where to get the best (my biased opinion) succulent grilled lamb chops from, drive along Bacchus Road B18 4RE. It is worth the drive!

I love Dilshads! I have driven miles out of my way when I lived outside the delivery area to pick up a curry because no other curry house compares in standards. We will not order Indian takeaway from anywhere else!

Been using this place for a few months now for our weekend takeaways. Food is always fresh and hot. I’ve never eaten in but if the foods half as good as my takeaways have been then it’s well worth a visit . I’ll be ordering again from them this weekend

Always great food and good service. We have been going there for 36 years since they opened. When we are back visiting the area we always go back. Great on Sunday to Thursday they do a special 4 course deal.

Food was bland, childrens meal was dry, price of the drinks was ridiculous obviously had to rake back some money somewhere, toilets dirty and smelt, overall very disappointing

Was very dissatisfied with what we got. 2 mini somosas for £2.95 which is a joke as they were like precooked ones from Iceland , 1 poppadom for a meal that was obviously for 2 people, not much meat in the jalfrezi and small garlic naans which weren't very garlicky and seemed like they were precooked hours if not a day ago. With the wealth of Indian takeaways in the area there is no reason to order from this place.

Staff are very rude, dont ask for extra dip to go with popadoms cause they say NO even tho we offered to pay.... I think they forget it's the customer that pays there wages, Definitely not 5 star food rating Lost a good customer will not be returning or ordering a takeaway again

Ordered on Uber eats. My meal cost £22.35 Very small portions. No free onions or dips or poppadomse like pretty much all other restaurants. Me and my 13 and 10 year old are still left hungry. Very disappointed after paying £22. I won't be ordering from here again

This is the first place I ever had "Indian" food- it's still the standard by which I measure other places! Food is good, good portions, and they will make things just as you ask them to. Really friendly staff, they can't ever do enough.

Dreadful service, waiting over 1 hour for our food, only 10 people in at any one time, they seem to pay more attention to the phone orders, I cancelled my main order, no one apologies for the shocking service

Customer service was appalling. We waited around 50 minutes to be served after we told 3 waiters we was ready to order food. Food wasn't very nice. Was no garlic in the naan. Very little coriander in the Balti.We was told the poppadoms was free then when we received the bill at the end they then charged £9 for poppadoms.Definitely my first and last visit. Won't be going again.Waiters was rude and arrogant, they was very smug & argued back with us about the food and customer service.Not happy.
