Thai Express in City of London, Westminster

Onions not simmered , raw , ordered chicken and just 2 shredded pieces of chicken , rubbish never visiting this place again

We walked here to get a takeaway as the website indicated they were open to only find it closed and looking pretty unloved.

En visitas anteriores no le importaba esperar 15/20 minutos, pero la comida (pollo tailandés) simplemente no sabía tan bien, así que no valía la pena.

It has a Halal logo and it's Thai. It's something that would meet Asian taste buds. It's more like fast food outlet, so it's not like those fancy Thai food at those fancy authentic Thai restaurant. The portion was good and the taste was fine. Nearest underground station is the Aldgate Station.

La porción es muy pequeña y no tiene valor para el dinero. El arroz frito ordenado no estaba cocinado, se servía arroz crudo.

Normally when I go to Thai Express I order the Pad Sew. This time, I got the Fried Rice with Tofu, medium spicy instead. I though the rice was a little too wet compared to how I prefer rice, but other than that, it tasted great. Now I know I have two options whenever I visit, and cooked to order too.

Great thai cuisine with quick service. They do have good vegetarian options as well. Very reasonably priced and absolutely delicious.

Come in occasionally for lunch. Being a veggie I usually only order the Pad Thai with Tofu. Having eaten Pad Thai in many places including Thailand, I have to say that it's pretty close to the real thing. Slightly more tangy than normal, but pretty good. It's a little pricey for what is essentially street food. Not a bad deal considering they cook it there in front of you, it. You know it's fresh.

Avoid this restaurant, but if you have no choice, then don't order the Prawn fried rice! I got food poisoning from it. When discussed with the management there, they dismissed it and said i was lying.

Tasty food, fast service, fresh, yummy for a take out compared to hotel room service. Would recommend

Tuve un 'general' para el almuerzo takeawy Tahai que es arroz al vapor y pollo en salsa. La salsa y el arroz era deliciosa, pero el pollo frito probado más y sosa. Verduras crujientes, agradable y la comida está hecha en frente de usted. Las opciones son geniales, fue spice informó de que de 'es muy caliente picy así fuimos para una "mediana", que tenía un pequeño kick. La comida era algo que 7 libras me pareció caro aunque está en Londres. La comida también venía con un rollo primavera de verduras y salsa de mango, que era delicioso. Sin embargo, yo no volvería basado solamente en el precio.

It's just a big portion. Prawn Pad thai, there were several prawns, a bit of bean sprouts and lots of rice noodle with soy & ketchup sauce. Taste? Imagine ketchup with soy sauce. That's the taste like.It's a new food no thai padthai. 안에서 먹을수도있고, 테이크어웨이 할수도 있는데, 가격도 착하지 않은편인데 맛은 별루임. 팟타이와 간장소스로된 얇고두꺼운 쌀누들볶음을 먹어보았는데 팟타이는 간장에 케찹을 섞어놓은듯한 소스였고, 두번째의것은 간장소스인데 짰음. 둘다 7파운드가 넘었는데 돈 아까움.

Popped in randomly, stood staring at the menu a while, was recommended the Pad Thai, managed to find a seat at what looked like a busy lunch time, was not disappointed! I will be back!

I regularly dine at Thai Express as I work round the corner. The staff a re extremely helpful and the food is great value for money. Huge portions and the food is tasty. Its a great concept and I am glad we such an option in the city where we are surrounded by your usual eatery's. Will be back next week.

Packed in nice little takeaway boxes you can eat from. Enough in each box/meal to feed 2 in my view. Tasted good. Authentic and fresh.

all 3 dishes we ordered are tasty. one thick noodle dish Pad Sew the noodles was a bit too hard, maybe not cooked enough but the other 2 dishs (Pad Thai and Yellow Curry) are both nice. The only suggestion for the curry is best to serve the curry separate to the rice so it's not all soggy. Overall taste good so will try again and hope they improve.

this is part of a VERY popular Montreal based franchise..so glad its in the UK now!My favorite is the general thai, highly recommend it. The staff is friendly and the price is reasonable. I would def go back.

The food came 2 hours after my order and it was cold. Moreover, the restaurant did not have all the ingredients for the food i ordered.

I work around the corner to this place and was glad to see the lights on one evening after work. Really nice food, really friendly staff. Bit of a Thai food Virgin, but got lots of help choosing. Been there a few times now and it's always been tasty food. Going to be making my way threw the menu for sure .Also the summer rolls rock!

Poor delivery guy couldn't find our building so had to go out and meet him on the road. We ordered rice with our meal because it didn't say in the description that it was included so that was a bit of a waste of money. Otherwise it was good.

Absolutely gobsmacked by what has just happened to me after ordering from these guys. no one really Knew what i was trying to explain to them apart from the girl that works there after I had put in a complaint regarding the driver who refused to bring the food into the house and was outside demanding i come down stairs after i explained I can not down to a broken leg, he then sat outside texting everyone with my food bag on the cold floor while i tried to get his attention from the window, I then started to film him and he didnt care, he then told me again to come down which I literally couldn't as my leg is broken and I am in a cast, which i explained to him again and again but he was a very lazy man...probably wanted my food to eat for himself if you catch my drift. he then drove off back to the shop with my food to then get sent back here and left my food outside my front door in the street, I had to get my neighbours to go down and collect the food for me which when I received it was freezing from the 2 hours it has taken to get my food after payment! Absolutely disgusted by the service I have received here!! just a load of unwanted stress for no reason and a waste of time!

The Greek curry was ok but anyone can make it out of a bottle which was the case here. Underwhelmed.

Food is good but I've ordered a couple of times and order is never right. This time I recieved 1 spring roll instead of the 2 on the menu, 1 canon pepsi despite ordering 2 and no satay sauce as with the prawn crackers. Still better than last time when I ordered green curry and just received rice.

I told the manager ofd today as they have out of data salad in the fridge. I wonder what other out of date ingredients they may be using and clearly don't care

I have eaten the food from this restaurant before and to be honest I LOVE IT - I don't have a favourite meal because everything is genuinely great. I have tried everything on the menu and the great thing is when I want a light meal I have a huge variety of options and similarity I can have rice or noodle options when I need a fuller meal. The portions are very generous and the packaging is so cute!! Perfect little pots to eat from whilst sitting in front of the TV ! Finally, whilst the official wait time for delivery was 45 minutes or more, my food arrived within 25 minutes!!! ...I couldn't be happier 😀

I've had much better thai from terrible chinese takeaway places. The red curry actually wasn't too bad... but given it was the only edible dish out of a £25 order I can definitely say we won't be ordering from this place again. Don't waste your time. Truly terrible.

Thai food at it's best! Classic green curry with fresh spicing and vegetables cooked to perfection. The Pad Thai brilliantly flavoured and one of the best I have tasted! Keep it up!!!

Wherever we go we make a beeline for thai food. If I thought I had got to eat here again I would rather eat my own tie. It was a very good price, that is the only good thing I can say about it.A good description would be "stodge"

The food is pretty good but the place itself is way too dirty. The kitchen fans don't seem to work properly as the whole restaurant feels a bit like a grease steam room. Everything feels greasy and you smell like you've been deep fried when you leave. It's a shame really since the food is quite nice.
