Chicken burger was so dry donner was to dry everything was to hard wasn’t able to chew. Not recommended to anyone

Unfortunately it took too long to arrive and it was cold - chicken pakora are usually great but these were awful small and overcooked- coming here for years - very disappointed

Donner and chicken kebab came without donner

Ordered ice cream got sent cheesecake which tasted like washing up liquid ruined the whole delivery for me was not nice at all

The good was like scraps from yesterday but soon as I rang they told me to go on just eat for a full refund so I did thanks

The chicken tikka kebab is amazing from Rajs… cooked with onions and peppers yum! But the mixed kebab was lifeless.. had random bits of onion and pepper like it had been taken off someone else’s food and it was cold when it got to me! Solomon’s next time for the red meat z

Bland, tasteless food. Chicken dry. Possibly the worst I've ever had.

The popodoms where stale, as my order was placed not long after they opened I can only conclude they were from the previous day! The biriani was less than adequate and the majority was disposed of. Not what I expected from previous experience!

Almost 2 hours for delivery, I don't mind waiting for good food but this wasn't the case. Won't be ordering again. 👎👎👎👎👎

Food was delayed after ordering, arrived within the new time but the delay still wasn’t ideal as we had children eating with us. Food arrived and was all cold apart from the chips which felt like they had been zapped in a microwave as they had hot spots. Pizza was nice but freezing cold, rest was all just ok and all cold. Majority of it ended up in bin. Had some lovely meals from here in the past, not sure if changed hands but this meal was not acceptable and I have requested a refund

Waited an hour and half for greasy chips, pizza with 6 toppings that tasted of absolutely nothing and keema paratha that was burnt!

I ordered food for my family tonight and was very disappointed. My curry was incorrect when delivered. The food tasted awful and the curry looked like it had been previously cooked and warmed up. The chicken was hard. I was told my food would be 45 mins and was 1 Hour and 35 minutes. I was also told it was £17 but when delivered was £23 ( I pay this for a meal from a Indian restaurant which is ten times nicer and more food) I will never order from here again.

Absolutely disgusting! Ordered a butter chicken and it came curdled and full of oil, tasted sour! Peshwari naan was tasteless too. Had to fill up on popadoms! Would not order again.

Chicken curry tasted horrible couldn't eat it..chips hade horrible after taste...pizza needed 10 more minutes in oven at least.. sorry lads don't like complaining usualy

I am so gutted, we order from Raj's quite often and I have never had such a horrible experience the curry was just vile, it tasted as if it had been warmed up, there was no taste what so ever & the same with the garlic nan. I have noticed some day's the food is amazing and some days it is passable, but today was just not edible. Think we will have to pass on here for awhile until this improves.

Paid 60p for doner meat On the pizza they didn’t put any on. Annoying. Too much cheese on it as well

Ordered from here through their web site on Fri 26th. They accepted the order and took the money. No food showed up so went to the shop, turns out they were closed but still taking orders and peoples money. Will be chasing for a refund and not using again.

The food was great but they messed up my order. Gave me a meat feast or something instead of an Asian style. I don’t really like meat feast.

The food just didn’t taste good. On top of that, some of the pizzas were just dough with no toppings. I only ordered here because my usual place was closed for a while. Not ordering again.

Popadoms and samosa starters were ordered with an option of sauce, which we requested. The popadoms arrived broken into crisp size pieces with the mango chutney spilt open in the bag. So no sauce to use! The samosas arrived covered (drowned) in yoghurt sauce so they were cold and soggy. We presumed we would receive the sauces in tubs on the side? The main meals, madras balti and jalfrazi we ordered were all really nice but not marked so we had no idea which was which! We contacted Raj who did deliver some fresh samosas and popadoms but 30 mins later.

Usually we go for a tikka masala. But last night we had a madras.. I just want to say, that was the best madras we have ever tasted!! Definitely 5stars! Will be ordering a madras again very soon ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Was given delivery estimate of 1 hour 15 minutes and the food was still 30 minutes late on top of this! The food itself was cold and nothing special, and I have since learned that this place has a 2 star hygiene rating. Will not be coming back.

The food was late and almost cold by time it arrived I am not happy with the service tonight just eat is normally pretty good but this is the first time I eaten at this place I was told they buzzed on when no one had or rang us

wait was nearly 1h30 on tuesday night chicken burger low quality soggy samosas, usually far better, not impressed

Ordered tonight on a recommendation from a friend. The delivery was over an a hour on a Tuesday evening and 25 minutes later than the time stated it would arrive. Some of the food ordered was nice but the chicken burger was inedible. I realise it’s an Indian takeaway and chicken burger isn’t their specialty but if it can only be made to that standard it should be removed from the menu! Definitely would not recommend or order from here ever again. Terrible service and food that went in the bin!

After losing my sense of smell and taste to covid Raj curry has been the only thing I could slightly taste and it was amazing. Easily the best quality and value for money Indian in the area. My family and I have been frequent customers of raj for the past 20 years and never once has it less us down, not even when I can’t taste or smell. Great service and great food thank you so much.

Great food, delivered earlier than stated. Had to call due to allergy and my questions were answered and any concerns put to bed straight away. Highly recommend

Only giving the food 1 star because I can’t do zero. Was awful. Couldn’t eat anymore than 2 bites of the pizza and garlic bread.

I love Raj's, however food over 1 hour late. Pizza ok to heat up but kebab with salad on wasn't. Got a 3 quid refund, but would have hoped for a full refund as the food ended up in the bin.

Had food from here many times but tonight the Korma for the children was watery and the delivery was really slow. I’ve since read other reviews saying the same about the Korma and general quality of food going down.

Food arrived very late, cold with items missing. Called the restaurant with the explanation being they were busy and sorry. That’s it...won’t be coming back which is a shame as I’ve used this restaurant for many years and since ownership changed it has gone steeply downhill

I was told it would be ready at 7pm but not ready till 7:25. No apology, whilst waiting there the staff were having a bit of an argument. Not great. We have been coming here for around 18 years but will definitely be looking else where after this which is a shame.

Waited a 1hour and 30 minute for an order, rang to be told my driver would be with me in one minute all you could hear was a man in the back saying “tell them it will be there by Monday” after being told my driver would be with me in 1 minute, 20 minutes later, nothing. We even tipped the delivery driver as it wasn’t his fault. The food arrives and seekh kebab order was wrong, this is the second time a problem has occurred with this restaurant we definitely will not be ordering again after this.

Regularly order Chicken Madras from here, asking everytime for it to be the mild version yet keep getting sent a spicy style. Which we then have to throw away as it takes over an hour to get the right one sent. Rest of the food is usually top notch.

I have ordered from here for years and never had a problem with the food, the food tonight wasn't ok the chips was burnt the korma was watery and the onion bargis was tought to eat, not very happy with food today

Really disappointed as rajs is one of my favourite takeaways. Got a set meal for the 1st time spending nearly £25 and we got chips that had obviously been warmed up very disappointed to say the least it ruined the quality of the meal for me

Lamb Karahi is absolutely amazing. It's my 2nd times orderking and it isnt my last!!! 😍 get loads of chips for £1.30 so it's an absolute bargain.. naan bread comes hot as well and my kids enjoyed there cheese burger meal.

We’ve ordered from Raj’s palace on many occasions and have always had good service but ordered on Friday night and were really disappointed. We didn’t have any special requests but still our order was wrong - we ordered a chicken and donner kebab which usually comes in a naan bread but came in a pitta which was half the size. We ordered a keema paratha but it was plain with no keema and our 3 dips were missing. Also the delivery driver didn’t adhere to any social distancing and just handed the order over to us. Like I said we’ve ordered from here many times in the past but were disappointed with our recent order. Unfortunately we didn’t call the restaurant at the time as we didn’t want to wait another hour for a few dips or paratha etc

Chips and kebab were dry and didn’t taste very fresh. Samosa was good and food was hot. Delivery guy pleasant.

I asked for banana milkshakes and got chocolate ones and asked for hot sauce and got a dry kebab

I ordered meat biryani, meat samosas with yogurt sauce and salad, chicken achari, cheesecake and pilau rice. The meat biryani was good but they put the yogurt sauce on the samosas which made them soggy. Bombay aloo was yummy but the chicken achari was slightly salty.

Should have just ordered a cheese and tomato pizza as the asian style pizza i ordered hardly had any toppings on. They forgot to give the yogurt sauces for the kebab.

Good Quality fast delivery and unlike most kebabs this takeaway has beef in the kebabs that is always tender instead of lamb which i find can be tough

Amazing food ,well cooked and very tasty . Very generous sized portions and the naan bread were delicious. Arrived early which was good as We Were very hungry.Highly recommended.

Everything would have been wonderful but I was half way through one of my veggie samosas before I realised it contained meat . IM A VEGETARIAN! will never eat there again couldn’t trust them enough to !

Food came very fast and was very hot. Food swimming in oil tho unfortunately . Couldn’t tell the difference between our 2 curries even tho ordered completely different things. Wouldn’t recommend based on quality.

Top-quality as normal, seems to be a shortage of King Prawns at the moment, but we can excuse this in these trying times. My keema madras was really well spice and the onion bhajis were exquisite as normal

The delivery driver was brilliant, really nice, friendly person who clearly takes pride in his work. My friend and I found the kebab meat to be very gristly and the over all food quality to be less than expected. I still think the restaurant has great customer service and I am sure this review will be taken into account. This was my first time ordering from this place, but I will order again
