Seen this dippy on tour trail lead us to the cafe for lunch after a bit pricey but over all just enough to satisfy our appetite long wait to be served perhaps ? Still enjoyed the day
A really good, clean cafe attached to a care home and sheltered housing.
A good range on the menu with friendly staff. Our dog was welcomed and a free doggy sausage provided.
Turned up on Halloween night at 5.15 to find it all shuttered up.... rang the numbers on the sign only to be told they were closed and didn't know when they would be re-opening.
2nd time ive been here, had afternoon tea with my daughter and grandson for her birthday and have to say its lovely. You get so much to eat and very good value for money. Beautiful cakes. Lovely friendly staff
We go to The Bridge for lunch regularly. The staff, volunteers, are all friendly and welcoming. The food is freshly made and good quality. My husband is fussy about coffee and thinks this is the best coffee in the area, including all the restaurants we are blessed with. If you are in the area you will get good service and fresh food at very low prices.
We ordered our mums 60th birthday cake from Naughty boy bakery. The cake was fantastic, not just how it looked but it tasted incredible too. Richard was really great too.
We will definitely be ordering again and recommending to everyone we know.
Had an early start today, so popped in here for breakfast, never been in before, excellent service, very clean, lovely waitress and the eggs benedict was as good if not better than any I've had before and paid probably at least twice as much for. Partner had full english and said it was good, plenty of toast, so to summarise, good clean local cafe, exceeded expectations, just cant believe we've never been in before !!
After a long muddy walk over a boggy moor to finish the Rochdale Way, I found this GEM. I celebrated with a christmas pudding with brandy sauce, the other occupant of the table was enjoying his traditional english breakfast.
Great food good value.
Restaurant was clean, food was reasonable and really tasty. Staffs were warm welcoming, charming, friendly and really helpful respectful all through out the service. Got us some suggestions which turned put to be fantastic and a really good taste to try. Would really recommend friends, family or couple for quality time and food.
We stopped while waiting for the train on our way to see the Gruffalo on the East Lancashire Railway. We had a couple of cafés which were really nice and our two children had hot chocolates with marshmallows. Then we took a couple of sausage rolls for the train. The staff were great, even giving us cupholders to leave when they could see we were struggling with kids, hot drinks etc., after the train arrived a little early. We will definitely return if we take the train again.
