The Woodlands Cafe at The Willows in Rochdale

The menu was not as advertised on the website and the prices were increased from 6.75 to 9.95 for the same thing. Chicken gourgoun and chips was chicken popcorn and a bowl full of chips basically 6 popcorn flavoured chicken for 9.95. Complained to the manager and basically couldn't care less. Never going back.

Lovely place for a get together with friends if you want a good home-cooked type meal. Staff are friendly and the food is plentiful, tasty and nicely presented.

Excellent quality and value. Never disappointed. Had breakfast and lunch options . Always tasty , good value and staff lovely.

Invited to a birthday lunch at the Woodland Cafe. Now this is unlike most Cafe's as it is an annex of a "Medical Retreat" which throws up all sorts of images. Well put those ideas out of your head this place is "The business" If you are able to accept rustic and not bent of "fine dinning" you will be more than satisfied. The Place is clean and well laid out. Food is Pub Grub + with some surprises. Staff are always attentive dispite the Woodlands being busy. So here's the breakdown - Rustic, Surprising Menu, Good quality Food, Great Staff, , and you will not believe the prices. Booked for Christmas, looking forward. Treat Yourself....

Another fabulous time here, the staff are so lovely and genuine, they show real care and concern going about their job. Always smiling, includes the chefs, who make fab food. Me and Mum had afternoon tea today and it was outstanding. Thankyou Debi xx

An enjoyable afternoon tea in a relaxed atmosphere, the staff were very professional but friendly. The food was excellent throughly enjoyed by our friends as it was their first visit thry were so impressed made a date whilst there to visit again, next time having lunch.

I'm tempted to tell you all it's rubbish so I can keep it all to myself, but the reality is it's fantastic here. The food is genuinely brilliant. Piping hot, fresh, delish, cooked in the kitchen in front of you. Very reasonably priced food, the staff are friendly and great. Lots of choice on the menu and the place is always very clean. Really cannot fault. Love it.

Had the small breakfast which was just enough. Excellent value for money. Cooked nicely and friendly staff. 😋

Visited with family as passing for a drink and a sandwich. So happy that we did. We had cheese and red onion toasted sandwich. It was lovely served with a side salad and some crisps. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Cannot wait to visit again, hopefully on a Friday for fish and chip Friday.

Very accommodating to our various dietary requirements. Food was very tasty. Setting was uplifting. Every care home should have this facility. We will return!

Absolutely love this place . The menu is varied lots to choose from also a specials board . Sunday lunch is very nice . The staff are very friendly and helpful .

I went with a friend from Church who has to be careful what he eats and was very pleased with our meal. The service as always was excellent. The waitresses were friendly and helpful. The food came quickly and was piping hot. My friend had jacket potato which was very good and I had the best Chicken Tikka curry ever. Tasy but not too spicy, with tasty rice and naan bread. It was very well prsented. I would highly recommend

With a degree of reluctance , for chance this little gem becomes too popular, I definitely rate as 5 ⭐️. Credit where credit is due. Have eaten here on a number of occasions, so review not based on a one off experience. Clean, bright atmosphere. Lovely, welcoming, friendly staff- who make you feel like nothing is too much trouble. Food excellent- small breakfast , poached eggs and Eggs Benedict - didn’t get a look in at Father’s not so “small breakfast “ but he was amply satisfied. Eggs were poached perfectly and Hollandaise sauce was yummy- not vinegary or artificial tasting. Excellent value for money.

Bright and airy room with comfortable, colourful furniture. Staff very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Plenty of choices on the menu. The set meal was very tasty, a choice of four dishes for each course . The plates were hot, as was the food. Wonderful service. Will definitely be going again.

Both warm and cold food served from fresh lovely and at a high standard. Would highly recommend anybody to visit open to anybody made too feel comfortable and at home.

Had a fantastic Christmas lunch at The Woodlands today 3 courses for £15.99 & well worth it. The food & presentation was beautiful. I highly recommend the food not just for Christmas lunch but from the regular menu aswell.

Nipped in as we had heard how good the beer battered fish was. I had to try it and I was amazed how beautiful it was. The presentation was fabulous and the staff were extremely attentive. What really did shock me also was the price £5.95 and that was with a coffee also. 2 meals and a drink for under £12 just wow. Can’t wait to visit again this Friday

I have eaten at this cafe several times. It has good home cooked food at a reasonable price. The decor is bright, airy and light. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. I noted that it is a dementia friendly space and welcomes those with disabilities. All the staff and customers were inclusive and non judgemental. Good to see.

I love having lunch at the Willows, the atmosphere is always so relaxed and cheerful. Staff are always happy to help and go the extra mile to make sure you’re comfortable and happy with both the food and your time there in general. Every time I’ve visited the food has been perfect and the cakes are amazing! It’s a lovely cafe and with so much variety and friendly faces, I can’t wait go again!

Bright and airy, beautifully clean and decorated. Large tables with very comfy chairs. Choice of Breakfast and lite bite menu and a daily specials board, drinks and cakes.

Enjoyed a great homemade soup, Carrot and Orange, with home made crusty bread. Lovely coffess and cakes. There's something for all the family to enjoy, even a children's' play area and a pub reminiscence corner.

Ive been to the cafe several times, intended to stay for a quick coffee, i always end up staying a lot longer. Its a great place to sit and relax in a very staff friendly atmosphere It has a great menu, presentation is fantastic, and you wont be able to resist the cakes! i would highly recommend The Willows Cafe to every one. We called on here for a coffee whilst out walking. We had a drink and crumpets both of which were served with a smile. Good prices. Good and clean. Will definitely be going again next tine maybe for lunch. 😀well done
