The Woodlands at Hollingworth Lake in Rochdale

The menu was not as advertised on the website and the prices were increased from 6.75 to 9.95 for the same thing. Chicken gourgoun and chips was chicken popcorn and a bowl full of chips basically 6 popcorn flavoured chicken for 9.95. Complained to the manager and basically couldn't care less. Never going back.

I'd ordered a cake for my sons birthday about a week/2 weeks before his birthday, it came to the day and luckily I phoned preemptively at 10 to check if the cake was ready to pick up, it had not been made. Which in turn stressed me out, although I got a phonecall at 12ish to tell me my cake was ready. So I went to pick it up, I was given an apology for the messing about in the morning, and some free cupcakes. That and the cake had more than I asked for.. got it home and it was delicious and my son loved all his chickens. Thank you again the cake was beautiful

Lovely place, great food, reasonable prices and the staff are fantastic. Two meals and two drinks typically come to around £16 and it's a lot nicer and friendlier than any overpriced chain cafe. It has very quickly become a regular weekend stop for us.

Always serving up good quality ingredients. The bacon is really thick and you got a lot for your bacon butty! The coffee is always on point, stiff foam you can balance a sugar cube on, smooth blend and a good selection of syrups! The staff are really friendly and welcoming. I love it here!
