Charlie's Coffee & Cakes in Rochdale

After a long muddy walk over a boggy moor to finish the Rochdale Way, I found this GEM. I celebrated with a christmas pudding with brandy sauce, the other occupant of the table was enjoying his traditional english breakfast. Great food good value.

Called in for a quick coffee break during a walk but ended up having a delicious ciabatta toastie as well. Being new to the area this was our first visit but we will be back as we enjoyed the friendly atmosphere

We love this local cafe and eat here regularly. Tracy and the girls are so friendly and always give a warm welcome. The food is homely and very well made, would recommend anything and everything on the menu. Dogs are welcome and there is always a treat for them.

I decided last minute to have afternoon tea in the garden yesterday as the weather was so beautiful. The lady at Charlie’s was incredibly helpful. I’m vegetarian and she provided the most delicious goodies, sandwiches, pork pies, for me hummus bread,sticks,crackers and beautiful little cakes. Not forgetting scones, jam and real Cornish clotted cream. All done and delivered with a smile. I would highly recommend.

While being in lockdown Chariie's are providing an afternoon tea delivery. This was a treat from our son and a very nice treat it was, Consisting of fresh made sandwich selection selection of cakes scones with preserve butter and cream All delivered punctually All we had to do upon delivery was brew a pot of our own tea. Mouth wateringly good

Very friendly, first and foremost and dog and cycle friendly! Great coffee and excellent baking. Very clean and we were made most welcome.

We came across this fairly new cafe by chance and enjoyed a really good Americano coffee. Great that they offered soya milk too! The cafe was tastefully decorated with comfy chairs and the owners were welcoming and friendly. We were able to park easily round the corner for free. We will definitely pop in again!
