Shish Cafe in Rochdale

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an amazing experience dining at this restaurant! We tried the Chicken Karachi, and it was absolutely delicious—full of flavor and perfectly spiced. For dessert, we had the waffle with banana, which was the perfect sweet treat to end the meal. The taste and presentation of both dishes were top-notch. What really stood out was the excellent customer service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel very welcome. The restaurant is also great for families, with a comfortable atmosphere and a menu that caters to all tastes. Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great meal with fantastic service. We will definitely be coming back!

We ordered 3 pizzas and all the pizzas weren’t nice it hade no taste the cheese was not proper cooked and it also ruined our stomach.

Great food was one of the best jalfaza I had I been to indian a few time and it was like was just like there. I be using them again when in Rochdale. Well worth the money full of chicken. Very nice service from start to finish 👏 👍.

I have been there about 10 times this year ordering different dishes, and having eaten from over 100 restaurants in the UK is this one the best. The management, taste of the food and quantity of the dishes for the price is spot on. I dont see there is anything they can do to improve anywhere.

Eaten here a few times and the foods always great. However rang up last night to ask a couple of questions before ordering and the guy that answered barely spoke a word of English then hung up while I was half way talking to him. Changed my mind about coming up. Please think again about who answers your phone it lost you good custom last night

We were heading to Naden valley and needed to stop for a quick lunch and found this amazing cafe, very good vibe, great staff and amazing service. We ordered the Chicken supreme pan pizza, peri peri chicken fatayer, chicken doner and a classic mojito. The quantity was superb for 6 people (with a small appetite). Had taken naan as well for the doner and that was so soft and fresh, loved it! Will try to visit again In sha Allah ❤️

We went out with my small family. We got seated up, and wow I was shocked to look at the non spacious area. Packed with tables & chairs. Awful. I couldn't even place my sons high chairs beside me due to non space & the belt kept falling off his chair, and table was so was tight space. 😔

Used this place for the 2nd time - 1st time was phone order. Felt like it was a hassle to serve me and not in the least bit interest. Felt rushed to order Got desserts these were seriously overpriced at £7 for 5 thin frozen deep fried churros that were like concrete on the outside and runny uncooked dough in the middle. The brownies dessert was cheap Morrisons style brownie mini squares reheated with cheap chocolate ice cream sauce and cheap Nutella- seriously £8 never again!!!!! I don’t recommend this shop as the quality is worse than rubbish. And if you were the person who ordered a bounty milkshake tonight then the lady only put 1/2 of a 1/2 (1/4) of a bounty in your milkshake. She thought I didn’t see her put the rest back in the packet after pretending to put it in the blender but I did and feel like I should share it as no doubt it’s wasn’t cheap

So the past couple of weekends I have been going here. We are a family of four and I just love a proper curry. This place makes the best lamb karahi . The lamb must be slow cooked as it's very tender everytime. It's full of authentic flavour. IV lived in Rochdale all my life and had given up on ever finding a proper curry local. Until I discovered this palce.We have also tried the chicken karahi just as good. The Donner meat is good no Grissel lots of flavour. Pizzas are good. They also do lots of deserts we had a sundae and 2 milkshakes last time which was really nice. We have also tried the mix platter which was good I wasn't keen on the BBQ chicken wings thou. I can't wait to try the keema

Wrong toppings on pizza. Was only cooked from the top, soft mush base underneath. Not good.

We visited last Wednesday with family for a meal and were thoroughly impressed. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The lady with glasses provided exceptional service, treating us with warmth and professionalism as she took our entire order. Her attentive and courteous manner truly enhanced our dining experience. Absolute amazing food, service was impeccable and the staff are so obliging, especially the 2 ladies in the restaurant. The kitchen staff are so organised as when I was sitting in the restaurant, it was busy and everyone’s food was served quickly, and hot! A must go to visit and I would highly recommend the sharing mix platter for 2! Well worth the money and it was delicious.

Each dish was outstanding and exceeded our expectations. I can promise you that every one of the above will be one of the best you’ve had in a long time. The ambiance of the cafe was also remarkable. The seating area was clean and spacious, making for a comfortable dining experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive vibe of the place. We traveled all the way from Manchester to visit Shish Cafe, and it was well worth the trip. Highly recommended for anyone looking for delicious food and excellent service!

Authentic Pakistani cuisine, curries are amazing and the chicken tikka is to die for, will be ordering regularly.

Literally the best restaurant I’ve ever been to ever! Came with a party of 23 of us and sat upstairs. Service was next to none. Beautiful ambient piano music in the background. We paid £28 for the mixed platter!!!! It was enough food for 5 people!!! Do you understand the bargain!! Anwar was such a nice guy I really liked him 🤝🏾. And at the end he brought us all gulab jamun just because he was such a nice guy! Other 2 ladies great service too. I would give the place 9.8/10 and will only ever have family parties here forever and ever! Overall just great vibes! Thanks Anwar and gang!

Popped into Rochdale with brother in law and nephew and attracted to this take away by bright facade. Order quickly taken and opted for half grilled peri peri chicken, naan and chips. It took 12 minutes but chips were not 100% hot and grilled chicken too. The wrotee was fresh and straight from the tawa. Overall if the food had been pipping hot then well worth another visit.

I wouldn't go there again.! Food doesn't taste good and they lack basic common sense. Ordered 3 pizza deal, they don't do mushroom pizza, but they do chicken and mushroom pizza, so I said take the chicken out- they said then they would charge extra!! They want to charge me extra for saving them money by taking out pizza toppings. Never heard such ludicrousy in life before.! Anyone don't believe me try this out and see what they say and leave a review. Lol.

Fantastic food. The Samosa Chaat in particular - the samosa is the freshest samosa I've ever tasted from a local takeaway and the flavours are bang on. The same goes for the fresh dough pizzas, salad, rice, and cuts of meat - fresh & very tasty. They are also attentive to the customer's needs on Uber Eats when making special requests and the shop is clean and tidy - this is what you call exceptional service. Thank you guys, please keep up the good work. You're a shining example.

Ordered a tawa for 4 Tawa usually contains the following items, 4 chicken tikka, 4 lamb chops, 2 chicken sheekh kebabs, 2 meat sheekh kebabs, 4 fish pakora, 4 chicken wings, 1 meat curry, 1 veg curry, 2 naan, 2 roti and chips.. Also separate salad and sauces We exchanged the veg curry for a chicken curry instead by paying a few pounds extra, so we had a meat and chicken curry on the tawa instead. Lamb chops were very enjoyable, good taste n flavour to them, likewise the sheekh kebabs especially the chicken ones, very meaty and the right amount of spice level to them. Both curries were tasty, meat was nice n tender. Unfortunately the same can't be said about the chicken tikka and fish pakora. The tikka was bland and tasteless in my opinion and the fish was a flop.. The service provided by the young kid with the glasses was top, sorry didn't get his name. Nice and polite, yet talkative and bubbly. Real little gem of a guy...

Really nice food maybe improve some staff.. The young lad waiter running round after everyone (he seemed to be doing a few other of the waitresses jobs) with a smile on his face all the time.. some of the waitresses found it difficult to take orders etc not sure if due to me talking to fast, but did notice the lad had to help them out with other table orders too.. the lady on the till asked if food was nice i said yes and tried to respond saying good but she didnt seem interested not sure why she actually asked! the seating area is new but the tables seem set out all for big parties. So we ended up with a table for about 8 people and only 2 of us. But there was plenty of space for our food then on the table . Chicken kharai nice and lovely lamb chops. Deffo be back to try desserts

As I work all over the north west, I can honestly say this is probably the best cafe/fast food place I have eaten in. Staff are really polite, helpful and friendly. Food is great, comes out hot and fresh, the wait is also a good distance and not waiting ages for your food. If anyone passes by, pop in and eat here. (Seating areas are also great).

Whenever I've dined at this place, I've consistently enjoyed the food, the excellent service, and the caring nature of the boss, Brother Enam. Shish is consistently active in supporting local Islamic events by providing food. I wish the best for the business and Enam.

I bought 3 lamb legs and a pizza to take away. The food was really good, meat was soft and pretty much fell off the bone. The portion sizes are very generous with plenty of sides and sauces/gravy. This was for around 12 adults and 8 children. This was more than enough for everyone
