The food was nice but nothing more. We didn't feel full up anc went over to macdonalds and had a quick burger. Portions small for price and lacked flavour. China town or bang bangs better tastier food in my opinion. Service was good although we did have to ask twice for a couple of things.

I really try to never write bad reviews and even my google review reflects that it is possibly edible. But I have now found myself even after explaining very clearly “no tomatoes as I have an allergy” to find underneath my meat it is covered in tomatoes and after reviewing a Snapchat video I sent whilst waiting for my food watching the server take all of the salad from the same bowl that contained tomato and actually picking out some which he saw was on my food with his own uncovered fingers, now find myself taking all the medication I have to fight a reaction that could have been avoided and hoping it subsides with minor symptoms. As much as I try to support local business this is beyond even slightly positive. This place needs to be shut down. The gentleman that served me even asked when I tried to pay with a £20 note for £9 worth of food if he could keep it as he didn’t have change. To only come out with change when I refused which I forgave as maybe there was a language barrier. It is clear that was rubbish. Avoid at all cost.

Buenas comidas sabrosas, servicio rápido y amable : )

Sadly they can’t get many “walk-ins” here, as the appearance from the outside isn’t at all welcoming. It looks like some sort of bunker on a council estate. (see photo). They may as well put up a sign saying “Do Not Enter!” Luckily we did; to find inside, a well-appointed dining area (though admittedly with no outside views). Perhaps that was the reason why there was only one other couple eating. Such a shame, as the food deserves to be widely appreciated. It’s that good. There is a no-frills laminated menu of the basic kind, which reminded me of my past life of regular visits to Brick Lane in London, or indeed India itself. Thankfully, the authenticity extended to the food as well. We ordered off the quite short Nepalese Specialities section. Both main dishes (we had only pappadoms for starters) were superb. Unlike anything we’ve had in Devon & Cornwall. A real home-cooking feel; it seemed the spices and herbs etc. were cooked and prepared in the kitchen, not merely covered with bought-in sweet sauces and powders as one often encounters. Even the two sides (chick pea and mushroom bhajis) were so different and full of a variety of textures and tastes. They were almost meals on their own! My wife had the Gurkhali Chicken and I had the Momo Lamb. Both were really plentiful and quite superb. The chicken was fried in a mild rolled Flour ; the lamb was 10 mini dumplings served with a hot dipping sauce. Fantastic! Unlike anything I’ve eaten in a long time and I can’t wait to try again. The Peas Pulao were a lovely accompaniment too. Washed down with some lovely Kathmandu Lagers (a little warm) and diet cokes, the bill, with service was great value at £64. (Without starters, we still needed “doggie bags” to take home with us.) All I can say is, ignore the frontage; try something other than the usual suspects (listed under “British Traditional Dishes” and enjoy genuine homemade food that is something different and extremely tasty! In addtion both the greeter and the shy, but highly efficient waitress only added to a wonderfully calm and enjoyable meal. We'll certainly be returning.

I tried something different for my main, a chicken tikka jalhpur whilst my husband tried the jalfrezi. My main was really tasty with a tang to it whilst my husband said his was just spicy enough without being too hot. Again, a really well filled keema naan, mushroom pilau and a large popadum completed what was an all round lovely treat.

Best Indian I ever had. There is nothing I can say that will describe how tasty and mouthwatering the food in this place is. Everyone trust me you need to try this place. I 100% found my best Indian place and I am willing to travel 30 mins driving for this food
